"Twilight!"
"Coleus!"
Rainbow watched as Twilight lunged forward, wrapping her hooves around some strange stallion. Rainbow made her way to the castle doorway and looked outside. In her marefriend's hooves was a unicorn with a blue coat, purple straight hair, and a lighter shade of purple for his eyes. Twilight mentioned that an old friend was gonna be visiting today, which was strange to Rainbow since she thought Twilight didn't really have friends in Canterlot.
Rainbow took a moment to consider who this guy could be. "Maybe a tutor, somepony from the library, an actual friend... or... maybe a coltfriend... I'm pretty sure Twi can go both ways... as Rainbow wrapped up her possible conspiracies she decided she'd just find out for herself. As she left her thoughts and came back to reality, she saw that they were still hugging.
"Ahem!"
Twilight quickly broke away from the hug and turned around towards an annoyed Rainbow Dash.
"Oh! Sorry Rainbow you haven't met. This is an old friend of mine from Canterlot, his name's-"
"Coleus" the stallion answered for her. Twilight smiled at him over her shoulder and he returned the gesture.
"Coleus? What kinda name is that?" Rainbow asked much to the irritation of Twilight. It was rude way to go about asking that.
"It's the name of a flower"
"Pfft! A flower, really? You're named after a flower" Rainbow started to chuckle but was silenced by Twilight glaring at her.
"Let me remind you that your first name is Rainbow" she deadpanned, causing her to grin sheepishly.
"Yeah.. fair enough. Well my name's Rainbow Dash aaaaannnddd" she stretched the word as she grabbed Twilight around the shoulders to bring her by her side. "I'm this babe's marefriend" Rainbow boasted, only serving to annoy Twilight more.
"Well it's nice to meet you. I'm glad to see Twi here was able to make some more friends after she left Canterlot, I always knew you had it in you" Coleus said as he leaned in to nuzzle Twilight real quick. Rainbow glared at the two, practically fuming.
"Is he really nuzzling her!? and he even called her "Twi"... I CALL HER TWI! Rainbow thought, some of it almost slipping out of her mouth.
"I thought you didn't really make any actual friends in Canterlot, Twi " she emphasized her marefriend's nickname.
"Well technically it wasn't in Canterlot it was on a trip. It was a few years back when Celestia wanted me to get out of the stuffy library and go explore and see things for myself. She sent me on a research trip to the San Palomino Desert to look at old artifacts, and Coleus was an archeologist there. It was only a few weeks, but since we both shared an interest in ancient history... we sort of clicked. I was naive back then and didn't really care as much about friends, you know that, so after a few weeks I just went home and that was that. I only recently just thought back on it all and how nice it was since I have a better perspective on it now" Twilight explained, and Rainbow listened intently for any mentioning of a coltfriend.
"Coleus did always mention things about friendship, but of course I only shrugged it off back then" Twilight finished as she smiled towards Coleus.
"I told him to come meet me here in Ponyville though to see what changed and how i've made friends with you and the girls, and well.. fell in love with you" Twilight said as she beamed towards Rainbow but quickly turned back to Coleus.
"I'm sorry I never listened to you back then. You'd always try to talk about love and feelings but I was so close minded back then" Twilight said as Rainbow raised a skeptical eyebrow.
"Love and feelings? "
"It's no problem Twilight, honestly. I'm just happy to see that things turned out well for you, I mean hay you're a princess now!" he complimented, causing Twilight to blush.
"Yes well, from what you said in your letter you've risen to be quite the archeologist. You've discovered three entirely new types of prehistoric creatures, not many in your field can say that. Oh and you look really handsome now too, you were a lot more thin back then" Twilight teased as she raised Coleus' hoof to examine it. Rainbow glared, noticing Coleus flexing.
"Yeah well i've been working out lately, forty pull ups a day at the least. It's hard cause of how hot it is out there, but I can handle it" he said with a laugh while flexing his hooves. Twilight bumped him on the arm.
"I'm serious though, you really look like you're doing well for yourself"
"Yeah well, who cares what boring stuff i've been up to. You've definitely had the more exciting life so far, and I'd love to meet your friends as well as get to know your marefriend better" he said as he nodded towards Rainbow, who's glare switched into a smile as he looked her way, and then back to a scowl when he looked towards Twilight.
Rainbow could have sword she had seen Twilight's eyes... wandering.. on that guy a bit too much. He was definitely in good shape... too good of shape. Strong bulky muscles could make any mare swoon, Rainbow had her eyes on him.
Twilight took Coleus' hoof and led him inside the castle, Rainbow hesitated to follow and noticed Lyra and Bon Bon walking by.
"Wow Twilight looks pretty cute with that hunk she dragged inside" Lyra muttered. Rainbow stared daggers at the two, even growling while she did. The two mares picked up the pace and bolted around behind a house to avoid Rainbow's rage.

The three of them had sat down in Twilight's sort of living room of the castle. Twilight and Coleus on the couch, and Rainbow on a recliner staring at them.
Twilight had started off by talking about the girls and some of the adventures they had. Coleus nodded along with every juicy detail of their Equestria saving tales. The topics switched onto Rainbow as Coleus asked all about her, and Rainbow "happily" answered each question through gritted teeth. It went on about the Wonderbolts, the Rainboom, and then about how her and Twilight became a thing.
"Wow, a stuntpony getting with a princess, never thought i'd see the day" Coleus chuckled, and Twilight laughed along with him. Rainbow scowled at the two.
"Oh so cause i'm a stuntpony i'm not good enough to date a princess? Rainbow was furious, but silently furious.
At one point Coleus stepped outside and came back in with a saddle bag. He decided to show off some cool nicknacks from the area and he had photographs from some traveling he had done before Ponyville. Rainbow leaned over to peek at the photos, noticing something very odd about all of them. In every picture he would be in a whole new place... but with a whole new mare in his arms. Each photo was pretty much the same thing, some cool scenic place and then him standing there with a hoof slung over a different mare's back in each picture.
After little bit more of discussion Rainbow asked to speak to Twilight outside. Rainbow and Twilight stepped out into the hall, the latter being confused.
"Twilight, what is going on in there?"
"What do you mean?"
"He's totally got a thing for you"
'What? No, what makes you say that?"
"He nuzzled you"
"So what we nuzzled when we were just friends, and I still nuzzle our other friends"
"You hugged"
"I hug our other-"
"for a REALLY long time"
'Well... it was sort of long but still-"
"He didn't hesitate to flex his muscles"
"He was joking"
"I doubt it, and plus that stuntpony comment. He doesn't think i'm good enough for you"
"It was just an observation. You have to admit it was pretty crazy that a Wonderbolt's trainee is together with a princess right?"
"Oh.. so you don't think i'm good enough either..." Rainbow said, her tone sounding sad.
"What? No, that's not what I mean. I'm sorry Rainbow it's not like that it's just-"
"No.. no I get it I get it. It is a little weird I guess" Rainbow said as Twilight sighed.
"Good because I don't want you thinking that. Your social status doesn't have any effect that could keep me from loving you"
"Well good cause I hope this next argument point doesn't make you hate me"
"Rainbow!"
"He had pictures of several different locations and EACH one had a different mare in his hooves. Come on Twi, he totally gets around"
"Rainbow! Would you stop it! I love you and I already told you that, honestly I just think you're jealous"
"Me? jealous!?"
"Yes, and it's immature Rainbow. Don't act like you haven't been glaring at him all day so far, and yes i've noticed. You've been fuming to yourself every time you look at him and I want it to stop Rainbow. It's also not fair for you to judge him so quickly, you don't even know him. You've known me forever now which means I expect for you to KNOW that I won't cheat on you, not ever. Okay Rainbow?" Twilight asked, with both a hint of sincerity but seriousness.
"Fine" Rainbow grumbled, and the two went back in. As they neared him on the couch Twilight took notice of his empty cup.
"Oh are we out of tea? Here let me go get some more" Twilight said as she levitated the tea kennel with her magic and turned to leave the room. Rainbow and Coleus were the only ponies remaining in the room, the latter getting up from the sofa and trotting over to her. He didn't hesitate to step right up to her and shove his face directly in-front of hers.
"I'm serious you know" Coleus said, unusually serious.
"Uh.. what?"
"I'm serious about what I said, you're not good enough for her.. but I am. Give it a few days and i'll have her wrapped around my hoof, and then while i'm in bed with her having a good time, she'll have already kicked your loser flank out on the street. You try and get in the way of all that, then we're gonna have a problem" Coleus said with a sadistic grin. His eyes seemed to stare deep down into her own, looking for any sign of trouble.
Rainbow just stared at him, now with a slack jaw as he threatened her relationship. As she tried to recollect her thoughts on what he'd just said Twilight was already back with the tea.
"Oooh looks good" Coleus smiled as he went back to the couch and waited for his tea. Twilight smiled towards him as she set the tea down but grimaced towards Rainbow. She leaned in and gave a quick peck on the pegasus' cheek, but she didn't respond.
"Um.. are you alright Rainbow?"
She simply stared at Coleus, as he grinned at her from behind Twilight's back.

Fluttershy, Rarity, Pinkie Pie and Applejack all stood around behind the Sweet Apple Acres barn, all having received a letter from Rainbow meet at this time. As each pony showed up, they would question her and she would question them, no one getting any final answers until eventually they spotted a rainbow streak headed down towards them.
Bursting through a low hanging cloud Rainbow quickly folded out her wings more to slow herself down, slowly flapping them into a descent amongst her friends, who didn't hesitate to badger her with questions.
"Rainbow why did ya' bring us here, where the hay is Twilight?" Applejack asked amongst a series of similar questions. Rainbow shushed the others and turned to her apple bucking friend.
"Well she didn't exactly get invited"
"Why's that darling? Did you two have a fight?"
"What? No. It's just... well.. alright here listen.." and with that Rainbow pretty much explained everything that happened similar to how she did to Twilight. This time though she added in the final detail, which was Coleus threatening her.
"That's horrible" Fluttershy whispered.
"That's terrible" Pinkie exclaimed.
"That's dastardly" Rarity said.
"Well ah say we go down there and settle this!" Applejack demanded as she stomped off. Rainbow sped forward and pulled her back from the shoulder.
"We can't just go in there and buck him in the face AJ!"
"And why not?"
"He's Twilight's friend " Rainbow muttered.
Everypony else looked at her curiously.
"Then what do you suppose we do?"
"Plan A is we all go tell Twilight when Coleus isn't there"

"Girls, you're being ridiculous, and i'm ashamed of you Rainbow. I told you to drop it and you did the exact opposite!" Twilight yelled, causing Rainbow's ears to fall back. With that Twilight magically slammed the castle door shut. Everpony listened and could hear their muttered conversation from outside. It sounded like somepony had just come into the front hallway, Rainbow gently pushed the door open slightly. All of them peeked through the open door slit, one head on top of the other like a cartoon.
"Uh is everything okay... were those your friends out there?" Coleus asked.
"Yeah everything's fine, they were just stopping by for something, maybe you can meet them later when they're being less crazy" Twilight said. The two carried on down the main hall until finally turning left into the library section.
"Well I must say, he was incredibly handsome" Rarity gushed, much to the annoyment of everypony else.
"Yeah I know, and that's why I want him away from Twilight. Plan A failed but Plan B is still good to go"
"What is plan B?" Fluttershy asked.
"We scare him out of town"

It was late at night now, Twilight had offered Coleus one of the many bedrooms in the castle to stay in while he visited. As Twilight turned in for the night, Corelus decided to stay up a bit longer. He found a nice spot for himself in the huge library section and settled into a comfy beanbag chair with a book, candlelight by his side.
"You know you'd think they would realize weddings are a bad idea" Coleus muttered as he tossed his now finished "Mane of Thrones" book on the floor. Completely disregarding the fact that Twilight wants everything neatly organized on the shelves.
"ooooooohhhhh...."
Coleus whipped his head around, the library was dimly lit at this time of day and the sound was coming from the pitch black part of the room.
Another ghostly moan echoed out from the darkness, causing Coleus to turn back around to see another wall of darkness. He quickly took the candle by him into his magical grasp, levitating it beside him.
"Leeeaavveee Noww.... or we'll haaavvee youurr heeaaddd" it moaned. At this point his teeth were chattering as he began stepping forward with the candle. As he trotted the darkness ahead of him became clear, but the path behind him would soon become engulfed in darkness again. He held the candle tight in his grip, it was the only thing keeping the ghosts at bay.... or so he believed.
"Boo!"
His head whipped back behind him to see a white ghostly figure floating just behind him.
"Ahh!" Coelus screamed as he bolted off in the other direction. As he ran another ghost stepped into his path causing him to take a hard right down the nonfiction aisle. He was running so fast he couldn't slow down in time when he reached the end of the row, he tried to skid to a halt but only slid into a bookcase at the end knocking over a series of books on top of his head.
As he recovered from the book attack he picked up one that landed in his lap called "Are Ghosts Real?". He growled at it and quickly chucked it into another book case and got back to his hooves just in time to avoid a ghost that swooped right down to him. He narrowly ducked out of the way and took off running down another aisle, the exit becoming a fleeting hope for him.
Each time he found himself with a direction to choose another ghost would block one of the paths forcing him to go one way. He was scared out of his mind, frantically scattering back and forth to avoid the paranormal creeps. After a few more close calls he exited out of an aisle into an open area of the library, the door to the hall way being a few feet away.
As Coleus made for the exit, a ghost stepped into the doorframe to block his path. He skidded to a halt, dropping his candle, and whirled around to retreat, but that only to served to reveal three other ghosts behind him. He backed away from them, but slowly to avoid the ghost at the door. He was doomed and this was it, he knew it, he always knew it, even when he thought he didn't know it he most definitely knew it while others figured he must not have known it he indeed did know it.
The candle's light went out and the room had become significantly darker, though even as he closed his eyes to meet his fate he could still pick up on the sudden abundance of light. His eyes peeked open to find that Twilight had flashed into the room before him her horn glowing brightly, illuminating the room. As someone who knew where everything was around here it was easy for her to flip the light switch with her magic from across the room.
The room was suddenly filled with light, allowing the two ponies to see the "ghosts"
What looked a lot scarier in the dark, seemed to be nothing more than bed sheets with holes in them, some even having holes cut in the sides for wings. Two of the ponies with those cloaks had very familiar yellow and cyan wings.
"What do you girls think you're doing!?" Twilight yelled, everyghost stumbling back in surprise.
Coleus put on the puppy dog face and wrapped his hooves around Twilight, Rainbow glared at him through the sheet she wore.
"Thank goodness you showed up Twilight, I was so scared but you rescued me!" Coleus wailed. A few ponies but Twilight rolled their eyes, but no one could tell since they wore their sheets.
Twilight softly rubbed circles in his back as she spoke "It's alright Coleus, it's just my friends and marefriend messing with you. It was a prank... a STUPID IMMATURE AND IRRESPONSIBLE PRANK!" Twilight roared.
Everypony in the room awkwardly began to remove their cloaks to reveal none other than Twilight's friends, Coleus made a fake shocked expression. Rainbow Dash stood blocking the door, and the other three ghosts were Rarity, Fluttershy, and Applejack.
"All of you... OUT!"
In single file line they were all led out of the library, into the hall, and to the front door. Each one muttered an apology as they passed Twilight on the way out, who held out a pointed hoof outdoors.
"Sorry" Fluttershy weakly muttered.
"Quite sorry dear.."
"Sorry bout' that..."
When no pony else went to step out Twilight turned to look at Rainbow Dash headed the opposite way.
"and where do you think you're going?" Twilight called out, causing Rainbow to stop in her tracks and cringe at the harsh tone of voice. She nervously turned around to face her.
"Uh.. up to our bedroom... to um... cuddle?" Rainbow said sheepishly. Twilight simply gave her a deadpan look and pointed towards the door again.
"Twi, you can't be serious!"
Rainbow's tail was surrounded with a purple aura and she was lifted into the air upside down. As she was levitated towards Twilight her marefriend spoke.
"I'm sorry Rainbow but you can't just act like this and think every thing is okay. As punishment number one, no cuddles-"
"aaawww" Rainbow whined.
"number two, you're out of the castle for tonight"
"okay... and number three?" Rainbow asked, still slowly being levitated toward Twilight upside down.
"number three is you're going to stay with a friend" Twilight stated, Rainbow raised an upside down eyebrow at her.
"Why's that one bad"
"Because you'll be staying with Rarity"
The unicorn's ears perked up from outside.
"Oh that's wonderful dear, I'll finally be able to get you to model some dresses for me" Rarity beamed at her, Rainbow only looked at her in fear and then to her marefriend. Twilight slowly levitated an upside Rainbow just beside her.
"Twi... ANYTHING BUT THAT!" Rainbow whined, Twilight simply rolled her eyes.
"Rainbow i'm sorry, this hurts you more then it hurts me" Twilight said, and she slowly flipped Rainbow right side up with her magic and levitated her close.
"Wait that's not how that expression goes-" Rainbow added
Twilight leaned forward and gave her a gentle kiss on the cheek, making the pegasus blush. Immediately after the nice sentiment she tossed the pegasus outside with her magic just beside the gleeful unicorn who took her hoof in her own.
"Twilight please!" Rainbow pleaded, but it was on deaf ears as her marefriend only watched in amusement. Rarity took Rainbow's hoof in a death grip and happily trotted off with her pegasus prisoner in tow.
"I have got A LOT of dresses for you to model, do you like pink? because I have plenty of those ones that even Applejack won't model for me" Rarity said in a sing song voice, Rainbow only whined more screaming "Nooo... Nooo!"
"Oh be quiet it's not that bad. Plus since you're modeling i'll have to take PICTURES for reference. I bet i'd get Twilight in better mood to see you all nice and pretty"
"No anything but that! Anything!" Rainbow begged as she tried to dig her hooves into the ground. Rarity only continued to pull her along, her strength being shockingly strong when fashion was on her mind. Rainbow's reluctant hooves dragged through the ground causing a rough line of dirt to be left in their path as she was taken away to her own personal tartarus.
Twilight just shook her head and turned to head back inside, but before she shut the door another ghost popped up right in her face causing her to reel back with an "eeep!" As soon as she recovered from the scared she glared at the ghost, who lifted up her cloak to reveal her bubbly face.
"Hiya Twilight!" Pinkie said cheerily. Twilight simply gave her a glare in return, snatched her in her magic and threw her outside. She even slammed the castle doors behind her without even looking back.
Five minutes, Applejack and Pinkie had been rolling around on the floor for five minutes, tears streaming down their eyes, and their laughter bouncing off the boutique's walls. Applejack stopped for a second to look up at Rainbow, but quickly went back to laughing after the second sight of her.
"Yeah yeah laugh it up" Rainbow muttered. Rarity meanwhile was still working on finishing touches as Rainbow stood there with a blush across her cheeks and a deadpan stare adorning her face as well as other stuff. Some of it being eyeshadow, bright pink lipstick, earrings, etc. Her mane had been made into a pretty ponytail and she stood there head to toe in a puffy pink dress with glitters all throughout it, something that even Twilight... a princess... wouldn't find herself wearing.
Fluttershy stepped up to her with a smile.
"I think you look pretty Dashie" Fluttershy complimented, unknowingly embarrassing her more from the use of her nickname, her blush only grew.
"Hahahahaha Dashie!" Pinkie called out, both ponies rolling on the floor having been at it since they walked in the front door. Rainbow just stared forward in despair, Fluttershy holding out a comforting hoof on her shoulder.

After things had settled down and Rarity did the finishing touches Rainbow deemed it time to go over Plan C. Applejack and Pinkie both stifling their giggles with a hoof as they tried to pay attention.
"So phase three is the Flutter-centric stage of this" Rainbow declared, much to the surprise of the shy pegasus.
"M-m- me?"
"Yeah you, you're the most uh... fragile? out of all of us so this will work great"
"and what's that?" Applejack asked, her laughter finally subsiding.
"We're a gonna make Coleus look like a huge jerk in-front of everyone in town. We'll have Fluttershy be the fragile pegasus who will ask him for help in leading her through the town, and she'll have to act like she's getting hurt or that he's messing things up"
"Um.." Fluttershy mumbled.
"We're gonna dress you up like an old pony, with the help of Rarity, and hopefully he'll fall for it. Okay so like he'll go to help you walk, but you'll be all "oh my oh my! My back what did ya' do to my back you ruffian!" and it'll look like he was hurting you when you fake fall over. Then Twilight will get super mad at him. That's just as example, we'll go over the details later"
"and yer' sure this'll work?" Applejack asked.
"Definitely and if not, I have a Plan D that gets put into action if this one fails"
"I-I don't know if I can lie like that" Fluttershy weakly mumbled.
"Flutters please" Rainbow flew forward to turn Fluttershy's downcast head to face her.
"I need you, he could ruin my relationship with Twilight. I need you to save it" Rainbow said, the most sincere smile on her face.
"Well... I suppose.." she answered, Rainbow rose an eyebrow.
"You suppose or are you sure!?" Rainbow asked, her old coach tone being put into effect. Her old friend knew her well enough to understand the sentiment.
"Y-yes i'm sure. I will help you!" Fluttershy's exclaimed, not too loud but loud enough for Rainbow Dash who grinned at her as Fluttershy smiled sweetly at her. Rainbow put her hoof forward and Fluttershy put her's in too. Everypony else quickly picked up on it and reached their hooves in as well.
"This one's for Twilight since we don't want her dating that creep. For Twilight!" Rainbow chanted, "FOR TWILIGHT!" everypony else yelled in echo as they threw their hooves back with the chant.
Pinkie leaned forward towards Rainbow and took her hoof with her own.
"Wait a minute, is that a hooficure I see?" Pinkie asked, Applejack immediately broke out laughing as well as Pinkie, both falling over with laughter again. This time Rarity even giggled too, but at-least tried to hide it with a hoof.

It had started off nice, Twilight had wanted to take Coleus out for a stroll around town and take a tour, maybe even see some of her friends, but they didn't get the opportunity. As Twilight led him into the market she saw Applejack selling some Apples and led him her way.
An old mare was currently receiving a very large bag of apples, surely she couldn't carry them herself. The pegasus took a hold of the apples and turned around revealing an old yellow wrinkly face, Fluttershy's youth looked like it had been drained out of her. Twilight being her observational self looked at the mare with a certain bit of criticism.
Coleus watched her face and his mind he interpreted it as worry for the old mare. Deciding to make himself look good he thought of the most ingenious thing to show how good of a pony he was to Twilight. Thankfully he didn't even have to put the effort in, because the mare approached him.
"Looks like the old bag's gonna come to me with the golden opportunity " he thought to himself as she faced him.
'Excuse me sunny, do you think you can hold these apples for me. You certainly look strong enough.... very strong" Fluttershy said as her gaze wandered on to his toned legs.
"Sure thing, i'm always lookin' to help" he said, all too cheery. He happily took the the apples from her, immediately the bag hit the ground as he held it.
"Oh! uh wow, these are some uh heavy apples!" he said as he slowly started to raise them higher, stressing his muscles as he did. Rainbow watched from in an alley, snickering to herself. She may or may not have added put heavy lead into the apples, which may seem totally unnecessary to the plan... and.... it is.. it's more of a personal thing for her.
"Are we good ta' go?" Applejack asked as she popped up behind the pegasus. She turned around to face her with a smile.
"Yep" Rainbow said as she peeked out from the building. Fluttershy's old eyes met hers and Rainbow gave her the signal, a simple wink. Fluttershy quickly winked back.
"Do you think you can help me walk as well, let me wrap my hoof around yours please" Fluttershy said.
"I could help" Twilight said, but Fluttershy ignored her with a hoof wave.
"No you're just a mare, I was hoping the big strong stallion could help me" Fluttershy said in a dreamy voice, "here you can take the apples" Fluttershy said. Twilight tilted her head in confusion but used her magic to lift them, even with her powerful magic they weren't very light. Without hesitation Fluttershy stepped forward and took his strong hooves in hers, smiling from ear to ear as she did.
"She's bein' awfully forward..." Applejack muttered.
"Yeah that's not like her, she hasn't even shown an ounce of her shyness..." Rainbow muttered as well, but Rarity popped up inbetween the two to offer her wisdom.
"Darlings i've seen my fair share of crushes, and I belive our dear Fluttershy might be a bit attracted to um... our target" Rarity said, everypony looked at her in disbelief and back to Fluttershy. Coleus was awkardly helping along as she ogled him, a blush extremely prevalent on her cheeks.
Rainbow facehoofed "Are you kidding me right now...."
"I must say though, Fluttershy's shyness seems to really fade away when she's got her eye on somepony..." Rarity muttered. Everypony just watched in surprise as Fluttershy nuzzled up against him as he lead her.
"Alright well Pinkies got the trap coming up so hopefully she doesn't screw this up" Rainbow said.
The two walked along, Fluttershy extremely happy to have her hoof wrapped around his as he "helped" her.
"Oh my, I've never seen such a... handsome pony in my days.." Fluttershy said, causing Coleus to blush a bit. He's had his fair share of mares and it was pretty obvious this granny had something for him.
"Uh.. thanks.. are we almost where you need to be?" he asked, hoping to get rid of her, she was definitely staring at him too much.
"Um yes..." Fluttershy muttered as the plan came back to memory. As if almost perfectly timed she looked up at the building they were passing by to see Pinkie leaning out of the window with a water bucket, just waiting to be poured.
Pinkie gave the currently not so shy mare a wink before letting the water fall from her hooves towards the two but not before whistling loudly to announce her presence. Fluttershy, Coleus and Twilight took notice, as well as other ponies passing by watching the atrocity about to happen. As the bucket left her hooves everypony looked to Coleus to get that old mare out of harms way before it was too late. Before Coleus could even think of what perks helping her would get him with Twilight, the shy old mare shoved him.
Fluttershy shoved him onto the ground to avoid the water, but she wasn't so lucky. The water splashed down on the mare soaking her in water and also causing all of her make up to fade away.
The wrinkles and sagginess practically flowing off of her body as all the cosmetic make up Rarity put on her was taken away with the water. Everypony gasped as the old mare was revealed to be Fluttershy, Twilight on the other hand glared at her.
The shy mare ignored her and quickly ran over to Coleus and sat down beside him.
"Oh my! are you okay?" Fluttershy asked, as leaned down to look at him.
"Uh yeah I guess.... um.. thanks?" he said, obviously confused at her new appearance.
"Good because I was worried about you... I didn't want to see you're nice mane get messy, or for the water to get in you're gorgeous eyes...." she said. Twilight just gawked at her as her tone took a seductive route.
Without warning Fluttershy climbed on his stomach and lunged down and smashed her lips against Coleus' causing everypony around to gasp audibly, one stallion even covering his fillies' eyes.
Fluttershy grabbed his head from both sides and moved her head left and right to meet him as his head moved from side to side. Her lips stuck to his like a suction cup, he tried to push her off.
Coleus squirmed and wiggled but Fluttershy kept on kissing him. Twilight's jaw simply hung open as she watched in surprise and a little bit of horror, obviously Coleus wasn't exactly into it, but Fluttershy paid that no mind as her lips stayed pressed against his.
"Holy Celestia!!!" Rainbow screamed as Rarity screamed in horror at the whole thing. Applejack just watched in awwe, her hat being knocked off by Rainbow who threw her hooves in the air in annoyance.
Fluttershy pulled back her lips coming off of his with a loud pop and a "MUAH!". Coleus breathed heavily trying to take in more air, but within seconds Fluttershy hungrily went in for more pushing her lips against his, and he once again went back to wriggling around and trying to push her off. Fluttershy only held his head still as she kissed him, other ponies having left in disgust. Her lips stuck to his like suction cup, stretching back and forth as he tried to pull away, but Fluttersy was relentless. She was gonna kiss this stallion whether he wanted it or not...
"Holy buck Fluttershy what are you doing!?" Rainbow shouted, gaining Twilight's attention.
"Rainbow?" Twilight asked, Rainbow immediately pulled back into the alley.
"Girls I think Twilight is onto us we gotta..... go" Rainbow muttered as she turned around to face her nonexistent friends. She looked down to see Applejack's hat lying on the ground, obviously left in her haste.
"Great..." Rainbow said before flapping her wings for take off. Just as she took off from the ground Twilight's magic snagged her by the tail and pulled back to the ground with a thunk.
"Really Rainbow!" Twilight yelled as she picked her up and levitated her back onto her feet, facing her.
"You want to explain to me what all of that was"
"Uh well I can't actually explain that " Rainbow said, pointing towards Fluttershy smooching Coleus like it was her last day in Equestria.
"but I was tryin' to make Coleus look like a jerk, which shouldn't be hard since he is. Twilight the other girls believed me but you don't and i don't know why. I trust you so why don't you trust me!?"
"You've always been the jealous type though Rainbow, like that time the bartender handed me my drink and you thought he "looked at me funny" I mean it's understandable that i'm cautious" Twilight explained, Rainbow had a hard time combating that.
"This is different Twi, he threatened me"
"Fine Rainbow, i'll talk to him tonight and get to the bottom of this. I really am having a hard time trusting you though Rainbow"
"Yeah well... I don't know what to tell you. What's a relationship without trust, would you still not believe me if i was the element of honesty?" Rainbow spat, Twilight frowned.
"I'm sorry Rainbow, but you need to see my perspective. He was a good friend to me even when I wasn't to him, I need to at-least give him the benefit of the doubt just this once, even if it means I can't do the same for you. Like I said Rainbow, tonight i'll talk to him" Twilight said as she smiled towards her marefriend.
Twilight went to reach a hoof out to her but Rainbow spun on her hooves and took off into the air, leaving Twilight hanging. She frowned as her marefriend took off on her and watched her fly away for a moment before heading back out onto the road.
Coleus was galloping down the road, Fluttershy hot on his tail flying above him.
Twilight sighed.

Everypony had later met up at Sugarcube Corner after the failed plan, Rainbow happy to grill Fluttershy who had gone back to her shy self. They all sat in one of the corner booths, Rainbow opposite of Fluttershy.
"What was that Fluttershy you screwed the whole thing up!?'
'I'm sorry..." Fluttershy muttered, hiding behind her mane. Rainbow sighed dramatically and Rarity put a hoof to her shoulder to take over.
"Fluttershy I promise you were not mad-" Rarity began
"Uh..."
"We're NOT mad Fluttershy. We just want to understand it" Rarity said, glaring towards Rainbow.
"I'm so sorry.. I... I took something"
"Took something? Like drugs!? Fluttershy where were you on the fourth day of yesterday!?" Pinkie shouted, as she put her hooves up on the table. Everyone turned to see Pinkie wearing a police uniform with a hat, and pointing a flashlight in Fluttershy's eyes. Applejack smacked the flashlight away from Pinkie and pushed her back into her seat.
"I took a potion... from Twilight's"
"You took a potion?" Rarity asked.
"Yes... I know It's wrong to steal, but I had to"
"Why darling? What was in that potion?"
"It was... it was a... a courage potion"
"A courage potion" Rarity continued.
"Yes... I was so worried about the plan because I had to act and I was so nervous I didn't think I could do it. I couldn't sleep all night I was so afraid I would mess it up and... and..." Fluttershy stumbled off, causing Rarity to not hesitate and shuffle over to wrap a hoof around her.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't think the potion would... would..."
"Be that strong?" Applejack added, Fluttershy nodded to her.
"Well yes I'm quite surprised. It certainly gave you more than enough courage to smooch with that stallion... despite how much he tried to push you away" Rarity said with a grimace.
"Yer lips were stuck ta his for a good long while, ahm surprise ya' didn't suffocate him" Applejack joked, but nopony really found it amusing.
"I'm so sorry Rainbow, I didn't think it would give me... THAT much courage" Fluttershy sadly said, Rainbow just smiled towards her.
"It's alright Flutters.. I know you didn't mean for this to happen.... we'll just have to see how things go with Twilight and him tonight..." Rainbow said, everypony else nodded in agreement.
"I still can't believe I kissed him like that..." Fluttershy muttered in disbelief, even blushing a little at the memory of it.
"Actually, come to think of it, it was a courage potion not a forcefully make out with the pony next to you potion. Which leads me to think you actually have a thing for him..." Rainbow said, Fluttershy shrunk under her gaze.
'Well not him... but his... body... and his muscles...." Fluttershy said dreamily, her mind roaming through dreamland, everypony gave her a deadpan look.
