Author's Note

Hey guys! I'm back, I put this in as a chapter to explain how twilight got her hands on the scroll, entirely skip-able, just filler, I guess, I'm new to this, so yeah, CONSTRUCTIVE Criticism is always welcomed, and again, thanks for reading, I'm still getting a grip on this, so expect mistakes here and again

Discovery NOTICE: FILLER CHAPTER, SKIP IF YOU WISH TO GET STRAIGHT TO THE STORY

Twilight Sparkle was Ponyville's resident princess, had gotten up early to Celestia's beautiful sun, once again. Remembering what day it was, she headed out.

"Spike! I'm headed to Zecora's! You're in charge here until i get back!" She called out.

"Okay Twilight! Have fun!" he replied.

She waltzed out the door into the town, towards the direction of the Everfree forest. While walking, she started thinking about what they would drink for tea this time, it was always a delight to meet up with her every week, she always made a little time to relax and discuss with her striped friend, no matter what time slot, she'd inform her and head home while Zecora made plans and got things ready. She eventually got to the edge of the plot of land the forest grew on. While heading through, she remarked about how the place was only scary when people really needed to get in there, when just strolling things seemed to be a lot more peaceful , she found it quite odd. Finally, after all the marinating in her thoughts, she got to the house Zecora lived in. She knocked on the door, and waited for her to answer, the door opened and she came face to face with the po-zebra she had been waiting to visit all day, granted it was a short amount of time seeing as how she just woke up.

"Hi Zecora! I came over to have tea like you suggested, remember?"

Zecora smiled, "Yes, I do, and I'm glad you did too"

She beckoned her in, to which Twilight responded, noticing the slightly misty look in Zecora's eyes, she recognized that look, as she had seen it in her friends eyes as well, Zecora was in the middle of remembering something. She was contemplating asking about it, but she also recognized the somber eye slant, so she decided she would let it slide for now.

"So...Zecora, what are we drinking today?" The purple alicorn inquired, it was always her favorite game guessing what they would be drinking this time, such a mystery, she had her guess set on Oolong tea this time.

"I have decided on a mixture of black and green, a mixture i had not yet seen, I heard of what they can do, so I decided to mix up a brew"

Aw, looks like she was wrong, then again, who would have guessed a mix, she'd have to try to be more exotic with what she decided on guessing.

Later...
"So...Zecora, this was nice, It's always so good to meet with you, seeing as how everything else can get so hectic nowadays"
She smiled, then something hit her, "Hey, can I borrow a piece of paper? The castle's been running low, and I just need a scroll to write some of my findings on seeing as how the parchment store's closed."

"Surely, take what you need, If you excuse me, I have some birds to feed"

Zecora got up and walked outside, That's right... she thought, Fluttershy told her that feeding birds could make them more willing to give her their feathers, Twilight got up as well, and headed towards the closet, she knew Zecora kept some scrolls in there. She opened the door and found what she was looking for, right behind an inkwell, and right next to a robe, it reminded her about when they first met, she sighed. So many memories, well, I guess i should grab this and get going, She enveloped the scroll in her magic, and levitated it in front of her as she walked out.

"Thanks for the paper!" She called out to the zebra, all she got in return was a smile, she noticed the misty look once again, Hm...I guess she's just thinking about the good times she's had with me and the others, maybe she has another friend, oh well...
