Twilight opened her eyes and wasn't met with that also familiar warmth that she would normally feel.
Instead, she only felt a shiver of cold running down her spine.

She still had her blanket over her but she was missing the warmth of her cyan pegasus.
Twilight looked down on a small crystal nightstand.

Rainbow Dash had left a letter for her upon it.
Twilight levitated it over to her and then read it.

''Twilight I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye.
You were sleeping so peacefully I couldn't bring myself to wake you.
The most awesome pony in the world,
Rainbow Dash''

Twilight got a small smile on her face from that last part before letting out a disappointed sigh.
''I still can't believe she didn't say goodbye!'' Twilight thought to herself before getting out of bed.

Twilight woke Spike up and asked him if he would be so kind to make breakfast for the both of them.
After breakfast, Twilight cleaned herself up and started on a lot of studying she missed out on because she was spending a lot of time with Dash now.

She looked out of the windows one more time before her head dived back into the books.

Meanwhile
When Rainbow Dash reached Wonderbolt HQ she got congratulated by some ponies with her new found relationship with Twilight while others simply seemed to ignore it.

After a hard day of work, Rainbow Dash decided to hit one of the bars in Cloudsdale for some well-deserved relaxation.

She sat down at the bar looked at the bartender and then spoke up with a tired expression ''Some cider please''
The stallion simply nodded and grabbed a cup and filled it.
The cider they made here might not taste as good as AJ's cider but it wasn't half bad.
After 3 cups a small group of stallion's walked up behind her. The 'leader' stallion had an almost black coat and hair with brown eyes.

''Your type makes me sick'' He said with a disgusted look as he stood behind her.
Dash looked over her shoulders and saw a group of them standing there. One of wich had a white coat and a grey hair. While the other one had a red coat and brown hair.

''Afraid to face me alone I see'' Dash replied with her usual cocky grin as she turned around.
''We were thinking about smashing some sense into you!'' The stallion replied with a slight hint of anger in his voice.
''Good luck with that'' Rainbow Dash replied as with a small laugh she dropped some bits on the counter for her cider.
Then the stallion jumped towards her and she quickly turned around and kicked him right in the chest sending him flying across the room.

''Well what are you waiting for?'' Dash asked with a grin at the other stallions 1 of the 2 ran away while the other one charged.
Rainbow Dash quickly dodged the stallion turned around and smashed him in the chest causing him to scream in pain as he fell to the floor.

Rainbow Dash quickly turned her attention to the bartender and spoke up ''Sorry about the mess I think this should cover that as well'' She said before dropping some more bits on the table and walking whistling out of the bar as she made it seem none of this ever happened.

She walked happily whistling back towards the Wonderbolts HQ.
When she opened the door she saw Soarin standing across the room as soon as he saw her he called out to her.
Rainbow Dash walked over towards him.

''Hey Dash. I just wanted you to know that I'm happy for you and Twilight..'' Soarin began but then suddenly couldn't find the right words.
''But?'' Rainbow Dash asked raising a suspicious eyebrow.
''To be honest I didn't think you liked mares. I'm still kind of surprised by the whole thing''
''Well I haven't told you either so don't feel too bad about it'' Rainbow Dash replied with a reassuring smile.

Rainbow Dash took a quick shower before heading to bed.

A couple of days later.

''Here ya go'' Rainbow Dash said with a smile as she signed a little filly's picture.
After the filly disappeared from her sight, she turned around only to see the same group of stallions that attacks her two days ago with an extra stallion and one mare. The stallion had a light brown coat and a dark purple mane while the mare had a green coat and black hair with yellow stripes.

''Seriously? You guys again don't you have anything better to spend your time on?''
''You're going to pay for what you did to us!'' The dark colored stallion shouted.
''Really did you ever think that it might have been your own fault that happened in the first place?''

The white coated stallion charged first Rainbow quickly kicked him in the face while the dark color stallion slapped her in the face.
''Oh now it's on!'' Rainbow Dash replied with a hint of anger in her voice.

Rainbow Dash opened the door to Wonderbolt barracks and Spitfire immediately gave her a surprised and worried look.
''You alright Dash? What happened?'' Spitfire said as she walked over to the now a bit crooked walking mare.

''Huh? O yeah mam I'm fine just walked into a group wich attacked me a couple of days ago. Though seemed like they brought some reinforcements''

''Why didn't you tell the Cloudsdale police about this?''
''I could handle them last time just fine! But I'll make a report tomorrow mam''

Rainbow Dash then walked back towards her room and got some rest. Still having some blood in her coat.

The next morning she made a report to the police and then just continued training.
She couldn't miss training since the shows started tomorrow. When suddenly she got called down by Spitfire.
''Rainbow! There is some pony wich wants to see you!'' Spitfire screamed as Rainbow Dash broke formation.

''Huh strange who could that be?'' Rainbow Dash thought to herself.
Rainbow Dash walked around the corner and saw... Twilight?
''Twilight what the hay are you doing here?'' Rainbow Dash asked with a surprised look.
Suddenly Twilight just jumped at her holding her in a hug and started speaking a tad too fast ''You are not hurt, are you? I'm so sorry I couldn't come sooner! I just got the...''
Rainbow quickly cut her off by holding her hoof over Twilight mouth.

''Calm down Twilight. Why are you here?'' Rainbow Dash replied
''I got a letter from Cloudsdale police about what happened with you'' Twilight replied in a slightly concerned tone.
''I'm fine Twi. You know I can handle myself right?'' Rainbow Dash replied with a smile

''I'm happy to see you again'' Rainbow Dash said before planting a quick kiss on Twilights lips.
''Same'' Twilight replied with a smile.
''We can talk about all this after I'm done training for today okay?''
''Sure'' Twilight replied with a small sigh.
