Prologue
There are tales of a beast that resides deep in the heart of the monster filled everfree forest. This beast is said to be unlike anything that has ever been seen before in all of Equestrias history.
The beast is said to have arms as long as the trees themselves and twice as wide as them as well. His eyes are said to be as dark as the darkest pit there is and his hair is as looks the same. Now as for his height, some say he is as big as a fully grown Minotaur while others say he as tall as the princesses. Same ponies have said that he has the strength of a dragon and the furry of them as well.
So ponies however do not believe that such a creature is real and those ponies would only be half right.
How do I know this you ask? Well i know this because i am that beast they speak of and my name is Matthew.
And I can honestly say that I am in no way or form the creature that the ponies have described me as. I am just a normal seventeen year old human male. The only thing that they got right was my height, eyes, hair, and my temper. My arms are average length and width for a six foot our man and I am in no way as strong as a dragon.
Now for as I ended up in this forest well i honestly haven't the foggiest idea on how i got here i just woke up one day and i was here alone.And let me tell you something it is not as bad as one would be lead to think.
You see i was never really a big fan of my fellow humans in fact i would dare say i hated them with every fiber of my being. I always was the outcast for things in my world, there just never seamed to be a place for me.
And I know full well why this was, it was because of that temper i spoke of earlier.
You see i have a learning disability which affects my social skills and my ability to kinda read social ques. This disability has always made it hard for me to try and make friends cause when ever i didn't understand what to do in a particular I wold immediately react with anger and violence. And lets just say because my disability it got myself into a lot of fights and earned my the name Savage, on account of my unique fighting style which i named Savage Fang art.
So when I woke up one day in this monster filled forest i was happy, as odd as that sounds.
No longer would I feel like an outcast or unwanted cause in this forest all who are welcome, if they can survive that is. You are probably wondering what i mean about surviving? Well like I said the everfree is filled with monsters like Timber Wolves, Manticores, and Hydras to name a few.
And they are like you would expect them to be hostile and very easy to agitate. I couldn't tell you the number I have had to fight off a pack of Timber Wolves.
But aside from all that life is great in the forest. The only problem with living there is the ponies that wander in and make up these weird stories up and thous ponies who decide to see if the stories are true.
But aside from thous minor annoyances life is great.
However I fear that something is coming to change my content life for ether the best or the worst way possible.
I would normally be fine with this but what really makes me uneasy about all this is the fact i don't know what, who, and when this change will happen. But there is not much I can do about it so lets just sit back and wait to see what is going to happen.

Chapter 1: Meeting The Beast
It was just another normal day here in the everfree the birds where singing, Timber wolves where hunting, and I was snoozing in my little tree house that i had made. When all of the sudden i was awoken from deep slumber by the sound fillies talking.
I poked my head out of my tree house and saw three little fillies talking to one another. One of the fillies was white with a purple on pink main. The second filly orange with a purple main while the third was tan with a red main.
From what I could tell the tan filly asked," Y'all sure you know were ya are going Scootaloo?"
To which the the orange filly just rolled her eyes and said," Yes I am sure Apple Bloom we will find the beast in no time."
I rolled my eyes and thought' so that is what these fillies are here for why else would they come this far into the forest.'
Then the white filly asked," Girls are you even sure this "beast" thing is even real? Cause from what you two have told my it sounds pretty made up to me."
The tan one, who's name is Apple Bloom from what I have over heard thus far, nodded and said," Yeah the beast is real cause just the other day he came to the outside of my family's farm and stole about ten apples."
I just smiled and licked my lips at the thought of the apple I had taken from that farm, they where so good. Then as I was thinking about the apples my stomach let out a loud grumble, cause I had not eaten anything yet. I gulped and pulled my head back into the house and hopped they didn't hear that, but I was wrong.
Then I heard Apple Bloom ask," Um you girls heard that two right?"
Then I decided to take a peek outside to see if they knew where the sound came from and as soon as I stuck my head back out i was greeted by the stair of all three fillies.
And for about ten seconds we all just stayed that way out of fear and curiosity for what the other would do next.
The white filly then asked," Um Apple Bloom is that what you saw the other day on the apple farm?" To which Apple Bloom just gave a gulp and said," Yeah that is it alright Sweetie Bell."
I then sighed and under my breath said," Well better go great my guests." I then walked over to my front door and jumped onto the ground, cause I didn't feel like using the ladder.
After a couple seconds of recovering from my jump I turned to the fillies and asked," What do you three want why have you come in search of me?"
But I go no response all I got was the stair of the three fillies.
I just sighed and walked a bit closer to them and in a very angry tone said," If you do not give me an answer soon there will be dire consequences." I then got right in front of them and asked," Do I make myself clear?"
The three fillies nodded furiously and all three of them said," Yes we understand." Then the white one, who's name is Sweetie Bell from what i gathered, asked," Your the really the beast of the everfree?"
I gave her a quick nod and said," Yes i am the beast of the everfree."
As soon as I said that the three fillies gave off the biggest grin I have ever seen and happily yelled," WE DID IT WE FOUND THE BEAST!!!"
There scream was so loud I had to cover my ears in order to try and stop the ringing they caused me. Once the ringing stopped I looked at the fillies and with much venom in my voice asked," Do you want to attract all the monsters in the aria do you want to die that much?"
The three fillies then shrunk down and said," Sorry."
I sighed and put my hand to the back of my head and rubbed it and said," Look I am sorry for getting angry it is just I don't want to really fight any monsters today." I then sat down and crossed my legs and asked," So mind telling me what your names are and why you came to my home?"
The fillies then smiled and sat down in front of me and then Apple Bloom said," Well I am Apple Bloom." She then pointed at Scootaloo and Sweetie Bell and said," And these two are my best friends Sweetie Bell and Scootaloo." The pair then waved hi at me and then yelled in unison," AND WE ARE THE CUTIEMARK CRUSADERS AND WE WHERE HERE TO FIND THE BEAST OF THE EVERFREE!!"
I then plugged my ears and asked," Did you three not understand what I just said?" I then unplugged my ears and said," You three have a serious death wish."
The three fillies then shook there heads and sad," No."
I then sighed and said," What ever." I then looked at them and said," Well my name is Matthew and I would prefer you to call me as such. Okay now that you have found me you can go home later." I then jumped up back onto my feet and turned towards my tree house and begun the climb the tree that held my house.
But as I begun to climb I was halted by Apple Bloom saying," Um we can't really do that we kinda don't know how to get back home from here."
I then got off the tree and angerly asked," Are you serious?"
The three gave a small chuckle of embarrassment and Sweetie Bell said," Yeah we have no idea how to get back."
I sighed and slapped my forehead and said," I can't believe this I honestly can't believe this." I then crossed my arms and said," Okay cause you three can't remember how to get home I guess I have no choice but to guide you out of the forest." I then uncrossed my arms and said," But first you three are to stay silent until we are out of the village."
The three then gave me a quick nod and saluted me.
I just shrugged and said," Okay then stay close to me and remember not a sound." I then lead the girls through the forest and back to the apple farm.
I turned around and looked at the girls and in a surprised tone said," Man I am surprised you three staid silent all the way back thanks." I then turned around and said," Well I did as I said you three are home now I must return to mine." Then as I started to leave a voice all of the sudden a angrly called out," Stay where ya are you varmint!"
When I turned around to see the angry voice i was meet with six very mad looking ponies. Seeing no way out of this problem I just put up my hands and whispered to myself," Well this is how this day would go."
