Shadows in Twilight

Speedy had been on the train for 3 hours. She knew she would be close to Canterlot in only a few minutes.

The train SCREECHED to a stop. The conductor yelled out. "Canterlot everypony out!" His voice could be heard throughout the whole station.

Speedy quickly got out of the train cart. "Now I have to sneak into the castle" Speedy thought to herself. She quickly walked away from the station, trying to get to the castle as soon as possible.

She started running as fast as she could to get to her destination.

When she finally made it to the castle, the only thing she had to do was sneak in. She walked up to the castle and approached the guards at the entrance and said. "Excuse me I need to go see the royal chef , and he is my brother if you didn't know"

The guards were looking at her , inspecting her carefully. "You may pass" he said standing up straight back in his regular stance. "That was easy" she thought.

Speedy walked pass the guards and walked into the castle. "Now I need to find Princess Twilight" she continued walking down the bright long hallway.

She had been looking for an hour and she still hadn't found Twilight. She had looked through almost the whole castle. There were almost no more rooms to search. The only room left to search was the one down the hall.

She arrived at the door and took a deep breath. "Please let this be the right room". She opened the door slowly and walked in quietly. She looked around the room. She smiled when she looked  at the bed and found Twilight.

She was sitting on her bed and crying. It so need low and quiet, but Speedy knew Twilight's cries. She sounded sad and heartbroken. She had seen Twilight sad but never like this.

"Pssst miss I'm here" Speedy whispered  to Twi trying to get her attention.

Twilight looked up when she heard the voice. She looked over at her door and saw Speedy. She immediately smiled and jumped off her bed, and ran towards Speedy as fast as she could.

Speedy and Twilight hugged each other tightly for a few moments and then they let go.

"Speedy I'm so glad you came for me" Twilight yelled out in excitement.

"I'm glad I found you , because Sombra a complete mess without you" when she said that. Twilight's expression turned from one of excitement to one of curiosity and concern.

"What do you mean Sombra's been a mess without me, is he ok Speedy?" Twilight sounded very  concerned so she answers her questions.

"Sombra has been overworking himself , he has been getting more ... Uhh aggressive so to speak" Speedy said.

Twilight looked at her and said. "Let's go back to Sombra. Suddenly some black smoke came in from the window.

20 Minutes Ago... At Sombra's Castle

Sombra had been looking for Speedy, but he couldn't find her. He started to get aggravated. "Where could she be, it's not like she could of dropped everything and leave. Or could she" he said in a dark tone of voice.

He thought about the talk he and Speedy had in the throne room. About her saying he should go get Twilight back, and when he refused. What if she went to get Twilight back on her own.

"Now I have to go to Canterlot and get them both" he said to himself as he turned into his shadow form , and flew towards Canterlot.

Back in Canterlot... Present Time

The black shadow whipped its way into the room and stopped in the middle of Twilight's room. Both mare watched as the shadow was forming into a solid shape. The shape of the mighty king.

As the king finished turning into himself. He looked at Twilight and then at Speedy. "What the hell were you thinking , Speedy if I wanted to come here I would've myself" he sounded angry at her and Speedy could tell by his tone of voice.

"Sorry my king I just wanted to make you happy"

Sombra just looked at her and knew her intensions. "I forgive you" when he said that Speedy had a happy grin on her face, feeling proud of herself.

Sombra turned his body and saw his precious Twilight. He could tell she had been crying not too long ago. Her fur on her face was damp and dark. "My dear come to me and I will make you feel better"

Twilight lunges herself at him and they hugged each other tight. It was like they hadn't seen each other in years. The hug to both of them felt comforting, loving and sweet. Twilight knew she would never want anypony else but him.

"Sombra I love you and I never want to leave you again" Sombra could tell Twilight was being sincere with her words.

"I love you Twilight" After he said that he lifted his hoof and placed it under her chin and raised her head up so this eyes could meet. Once this eyes met. He looked deep into her eyes and saw how beautiful her heart and soul were, she was pure good.

They both leaned in slowly and their lips met. Her soft lips felt good against his. Sombra raised his right hoof and gently stroked her mane as they kissed. "Mmmmm" Twilight moaned into the kiss. They felt like they were in pure bliss , the love for each other was just put into that kiss.

Speedy looked at them and felt happy that the two were both happy. She watched as they kissed, a kiss that can only be shared by two lovers who love one another with there hearts and souls. "I think we should go your highnesses"

Sombra and Twilight leaned away from each other and let go of the kiss. "Alright let's go home so me and my Twilight can get home. If that's ok with you Twilight?" He asked"

Twilight looked at him and blushed at his gorgeous smile. "Let's go" she said as she smiled at him.

Suddenly out of nowhere Shinning Armor appeared in the room. "You're not going anywhere with her Sombra". Shinning looked angry and protective.

"How did you know I would be hear?" Sombra said looking at Shinning questioning him.

"Your servant over there said the chef was her brother but we asked the chef and he doesn't have any siblings" when Shinning spoke Speedy felt terrible' she had no clue this would happen.

"Twilight , Speedy hold on to me" the mares both did as Sombra asked and they held onto him tightly. "Goodbye little prince" he said as he turned into his shadow form.

Shinning Armor then tried to stop Sombra but he was too late. The cloud of black smoke was out the window and heading out of Canterlot. He growled in anger and just screamed out curses. "FUCKING DAMN IT Now I'll never get her back"

In The Throne Room

Celestia and Cadance were together in the throne room talking about the night Cadance and Shinning shared, they were both joking and laughing about the topic.

"He really felt that good"" Celestia asked curiously.

"Yes he did, it was so romantic, so passionate" as she explained everything to Celestia, Celestia thought to herself. "Man I wish I had that kind of moment"

The door opened quickly and the princesses looked at the door. They saw Shinning Armor who looked absolutely angry and sad. "He has her and it's all my fault, I wasn't fast enough" he then dropped onto the floor and cried.

Cadance ran to her husband to comfort him. She placed her hooves around him and said. "Shh it's ok we'll get her back" she tried as hard as she could to cheer Shinning up but he was just too upset at that moment.

Celestia looks at Shinning Armor, she had never seen her captain act like this before. She knew it meant he was broken. "Shinning Armor I encourage you to take a week off and spend time with your family, you need time ok"

Shinning looked at Celestia. "Alright" then Cadance and himself walked out of the room and went to their room to spend some time together with Flurry Heart as a family.

Celestia watched them leave , and sighed. "I knew this would happen , i tried to stop fait but I couldn't and now what I feared would happen will come true, and there is nothing I can do to stop it. Twilight and Sombra will do what destiny has planned for them. Nothing could change it"

In Shinning and Cadance's Room

Cadance and Shinning Armor were sitting in there room with Flurry heart. They all hugged each other and made each other happy. "I love you all so much" Shinning said to his family.

They all looked up at Shinning and smiled. "We love you to daddy" flurry said sweetly to her father.

Everypony was happy they had each other no matter what. They all leaned down on the bed and fell asleep. They were in each other's arms and soundly slept in peace.
