Expanding the Borders

"We meet again" said Blood Petal as she looked at the three ponies in front of her. Before her stood an earth pony stallion, who bore an orange coat and a black mane. His cutie mark was a sparkling orange-ish rock, and he was rather muscular. Blood Petal recognized him in a heartbeat as Tiger Eye, her foalhood friend. Next to him stood a unicorn mare with a light pink mane and dark pink coat, who was named Cherry Blossom, Blood Petal's cousin. Not on her father's side, of course. And the third pony was a pegasus stallion, who had a pale yellow coat and gold mane, named Golden Scroll.

Blood Petal smiled at all of them, a creepy smile that they gladly returned. "Hello, my old friends" she said, in a calm voice that seeped into their brain like treacle. It would freak most out, but they were just as insane as she was, and had heard her speak many times before. They were meeting in the Principal's old office. It had been changed a decent amount, now having two large beds for her timber-wolves on either side of the room. Said timber wolves got up to greet the visitors, recognizing them from a few years ago.

"Hello Petal" said the stallion, Tiger Eye, his voice was similar to Petal's, but displayed a bit of mischief in it from what Petal gathered at least, and she was good at reading ponies' emotions. "You grew up well" he said, with a bit more mischief in his voice this time, giving Petal's body a quick glance-over. Indeed she had, going from a regular filly to an attractive young mare. Petal smirked at his behaviour.

"You haven't changed at all, I see" she said calmly, circling around the stallion. "Well, I would expect nothing else from the mighty tiger" she finished with a smirk, flicking her tail towards him as she walked back to her previous position. Tiger's eyes went wide, remembering the nickname he gave himself several years ago was not something he enjoyed. She was one of the few ponies who was aware of this nickname, as he only told it to a few fillies, in an attempt to impress them. Pre-teenhood was an awful time for him. Cherry Blossom sensed his alarm so decided to change the subject.

"Soooo, what's the plan?" asked Cherry, an evil glint in her eyes. All 3 of them knew how much Cherry loved to torture ponies, but before anyone could reply, another voice spoke up.

"Well isn't this a happy reunion" said a voice as sickly sweet as honey. They all turned to see a honey coated young mare with the longest black mane they had ever seen. Her honey coloured eyes bore mischief and malice in them, a delicious mix to be sure. Only one out of the other four ponies in the room recognized her.

"Oh, hey Honey" Petal said, walking over to the young mare, who wasn't much younger than herself, and giving her a tight hug. Petal then turned to the others. "Guys, this is my closest friend, and my advisor now that I'm Queen of this place, Poisoned Honey. Honey, these are my old friends, Tiger Eye, Cherry Blossom and Golden Scroll." Petal kept a fore-leg around Honey's neck whilst she introduced them, gesturing to each of them with her other fore-leg as she spoke.

"Nice to meet you all, but Petal, another pony got caught trying to escape, so we have to go deal with it. You three are welcome to join in if you wish." Honey said, having a more official look on her face now, as this was part of her job as Petal's advisor. "Which room should I have prepared, Petal?"

Petal thought for a minute before speaking "I think the science room would be good." Honey nodded and flicked her tail at Tiger before leaving. This left him
