Dying Sun

Before I start, there are a few things that I should explain. My name is Healing Shade, but most everypony calls me Shade. Ever since I was a little colt, I've always had a knack of finding trouble. However, trouble found me when I agreed to a deal that would take me into a city of death. A city called Anito.

Anito is a city just a little under Equestria, not really belonging anywhere. For a long time, it was just a city for those who lived there, and most ponies who did didn't want to. However, a few years ago, there was a huge discovery: the entire city was smackdab on a deposit of coal the size of Manehatten. And so, Anito became one of the richest cities Equestria has ever seen. Everyone wanted to live there, become wealthy. But somewhere across the line, there was a virus. A virus that became the complete undoing of this city.

You see, this virus killed ponies within hours, and turned them into reanimated corpses that would then attack other ponies who were still alive, thus infecting those ponies with the virus. Most of the citizens of Anito became these things, and the ERA decided to take action, using every recourse they had to create a suppressant for this virus. And thus Antidrag was created. It allowed those who were bitten to fight off this virus, but they required a constant amount of Antidrag to do so.

Now that you know the background of Anito and the virus, I'm going to talk about a brilliant invention: STECLAW. Have you ever wanted to grab things with more accuracy than the wrist of your hoof? Well, with these steel griffon talons that can be attached to your foreleg, now you can! Jokes aside, these things are amazing. They allow earth ponies like me to wield guns, do parkour more easily, and all sorts of other cool shit.

All of this basic information aside, I'm going to tell you a story. My story. How I survived the quarantine. So sit down, colts and fillies, 'cause this may take a bit.
