War, War never changes. The land of Equestria has been devastated by war for the past 100 years. Finally, in the year 2118, the wizards and scientists of Canterlot banded together to create a new spell that they were certain would win the war for Equestria. But some thing went wrong. The spell grew to an unfathomable size and the predetermined side effect of the spell, radiation, began to leak and kill the ponies inside the test facility. One of these scientists was the one and only Princess Twilight Sparkle, who was supervising the project. She was trapped and pronounced dead by Celestia. The doors to the lab were sealed and the spell was left unchecked. Big mistake. The spell kept growing and leaking even more radiation.

A young unicorn, named Flux, feared that the spell would continue to grow and eventually go into a meltdown state. He proposed a design to Celestia to build specialized bunkers that he liked to call "Stables". The Princess sent the design to an upcoming robotics company called "Robco". Within 3 years, the company had miraculously built 340 Stables all over Equestria. There would have been much more, but the spell detonated much sooner than expected. A huge mushroom cloud, comprised of reds pinks and blues, covered the land of Equestria in a very colorful haze of fallout. The inheritance made there way to the Stables. Some were crammed in, others were spaciously tucked in, and others never even made it in leaving many of them empty and ready to rust away. The friends and family of Twilight Sparkle were admitted to a special stable with special technology.

This story fallows the knowledgeable Doctor Flux. The creator of the Stable, Pip-Buck, and many other pre war technologies. He will have to crawl through radioactive  pits, fight through hordes of Death Claw, super mutants, and ghouls, and travel across the Equestrian wasteland. Just to find and prove that the only one who can bring the world back from what it has become, the mare that he fell in love with, was still alive.
