Beginning with a random thought thinking it would be fun and memorable going through memory lane. With the week past after the thought, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash sat on there hunches on top of Fluttershy bed. But not on her usual bed back at Ponville, but the bed made out of cloud from her unchanged room since the time she moved out near the Everfree Forest containing the yellow mare home. So the two sat comfortably with their body facing each other and between them taking their full attention of their mind and stare was the popular game known around Cloudsdale, Battle Clouds.
However, both their attention came to an end once Fluttershy went for the final kill.

Soon after Rainbow flared her forelegs above her for her final battle piece was destroyed. Screaming, "Ahhhh!" And then falling down on her back with her head peacefully landing on top of her friend pillow. Getting up soon after back to her hunches to look up smiling at her yellow coated friend. "Well 'Shy you beaten me. You win this round." Though it did take a small piece of her pride of admitting her shyest friend in beating her. It wasn't exactly the worst game to get beaten on. Flying on the other hand was something she would not admit to lose. But this, she'll allow her small lost to pass. So with the round of Battle Cloud done. The two then put away the two board to then have Rainbow shuffling a deck of cards to begin their fourth round of their game.
"You know how it goes 'Shy, King Zombra is wild." With the wild card establish, Rainbow past out of equal of five cards to her friend and herself to then begin there first round of their game.
And she flinch in seeing she hold dead cards.
Some rounds later.
"Hey Fluttershy, I sorta of got a question for you." Rainbow looked up, away from the dead pile after throwing away three useless cards and soon receiving three cards. She sighed in seeing only a pair of six in her forelegs. She stared at her friend giving no mind on the cards she hold. She saw two other cards be thrown on the dead pile by her friend and the same number of card to be drawn from the deck.
"Of course Rainbow," Two teal orbs stared back at her. "You could tell me anything."
The blue mare put down her cards on the dead pile to signal she fold. While not looking away from her friend. "Well Shy, you know I always blabber on I'm was destined, dreamed, desired to be a Wonderbolt. Well now that I am, I wanted ask what your dream?"
"Well this is sorta of random but," Rainbow rubbed her back sheepishly feeling silly for going to ask the question. "... do you like sleeping on earth pony beds than pegasi beds?" Quickly did she want to shove the question down some forgotten place, but was caught off guard Fluttershy answering.
"Oh heaven no. Nothing toward the earth pony, but I really do miss my old bed." To prove it. She chunk a piece of cloud off her bed to then began rubbing her face over the piece of cloud bed as if it was a small furry animal.
"Really." The blue mare said in shock. She always assume after her friend move in a earth pony home and never complained about, so she like earth pony style more. She thought.
"Of course, nothing beats a cloud to sleep on. I actually wanted to buy a cloud home like you did." This really captured Rainbow attention.
"Whoa really. Then why don't you?" The cards between them shortly forgotten.
"How else am I suppose to take care of my animals friends needs?" Fluttershy said in a matter of fact voice. "Oh and two pairs of five and Princess." The mare showing her cards.
"Yea I folded a while ago..." She watch the yellow mare mark a line on a piece piece of paper. Total score, Fluttershy eight, Rainbow down by two. "So, back to what your saying. If you would, you totally would buy a cloud home."
"Yes." The mare said while she shuffle the new deck of cards and later passing and equal five to the two of them.
And seeing another dead card. She unceremoniously threw her cards up to the air without of care. Today her luck on the cards was not her side. Not giving a thought, Rainbow went back falling on her back landing again on the cushy pillow. She certain after playing five different board games with much more round with every one they played, it almost time to call it night.
"Hey 'Shy it cool with you I made a hole on your parent ceiling tonight. I heard from Twilight there suppose to be a wicked meteor shower tonight." The blue ask as she stared at the ceiling waiting for her friend to give her the go ahead.
"If you patch the clouds back together." In other words yes.
"Sweet." Flying up to the ceiling, Rainbow gave one powerful kick from her hind leg to to make a sizable hole on the ceiling. Then flying back down on her friend bed to go on staring beyond the open ceiling. Tiny sparkling diamonds surrounded the night adding the appeal to the dark sky. How great it would be to fly out right now to feel the night wind brushing through her wings which the day light sometime could not reflect. As well on just lying on a stray cloud and to just stare at the night sky. Or the wonders of flying the night sky with your special-
Whoa, chill Rainbow. Don't go there. Not now or ever. Not with her here.
The blue mare close her eyes with a sigh and to next open her eyelids to close the thoughts running around her mind. And it work, just like a every time. As well as that lonely feeling roaming around... somewhere around her body.
"It really is beautiful isn't it."
Rainbow turn her gaze away from the open ceiling to stare at her friend walking around the bed, to then lay in her bed right beside the blue mare. Her gazing going strait to the visible sky above them. Rainbow only stare at her friend.
"No wonder we feel the need to do something special for our special somepony in the night."
Rainbow continue to stare as Fluttershy continue on.
"To get closer to them."
I know the feeling.
Rainbow gaze went straight back to the sky to get rid of the growing tingling feeling on her chest. She scratch her chest trying to scratch it off, but it only stayed as her friend still went on.
"To hope that special somepony will one day know their feeling."
Does she notice...
"Rainbow do you notice my feeling?"
Quick as her flying speed, the blue pegasus turn to Fluttershy to suddenly feel soft objects touch her lips. But she quickly notice those objects were her friends lips. Before she could get lost to her friend touch, Fluttershy pulled away. She stared at teal eyes telling all she needed to know. The struck Rainbow could only think of one way to return such strong silent words from the yellow mare.
"Fluttershy do you want to fly with me?"
It wasn't difficult to know what the yellow mare response was as blue and yellow dots could be seen flying up toward the sparkly night sky right when the the stars above them began to shower. However the meteor shower was missed by the two pegasi as they only stared at each other.
