I hear another moan , and find that I'm next to a young filly. "Um , where are we ?" She asks , terrified. "It'll be alright , but we need to stick together." I reply calmly. We get up , and I cover her with my wing , to keep ourselves warm. My hooves thump the wooden floor , each echoing my heartbeat. We get to the door , and the filly , using her magic , pushes the door open. A wondrous sight fills our vision. We are under the night sky , in a small village. The lamps are lit up with what I think is pure moonlight. The houses are made of crystal , and other substances. The pavement is made of cobblestone . "Hello ?" I say , my voice breaking , for I had not drank any water. Everypony suddenly stopped , and turned around to look at us. The filly whimpers and hides behind me , while I stare at the ponies. Suddenly , there is a disturbance in the crowd , and the mysterious ponies part to reveal a pony in a cloak. The pony uses her magic to lift the hood off her cloak , and when I see who it is , I gasp , and bow , for it is no other than princess Luna. She bends down , looking concerned. "Are you alright , my young one ?" She asks , her voice lowering , and her face smiling at me with kindness and love. //-------------------------------------------------------// A new home //-------------------------------------------------------// A new home I was jolted awake by a slightly rough landing , and panicked , peered around . My eyes were bleary , so I couldn't make out figures. I was in a comfortable room with a dark blue ceiling and walls. I heard the squeal of another foal , and slowly , edged off my chair. I fell over , but then I got back onto my hooves. I walked across the room , hoofstep by hoofstep , until I reached the doorway. I peeked out of the doorway , only to see darkness . I was frightened , and wanted my mother. Then my ears perked up as I heard a sound . Somepony was coming ! I scurried back to the chair , but I couldn't get back up. There was a shadow at the doorway , and then I heard , well , a slight chuckle . I was astounded , as I was lifted up by magic onto the chair. I still had the same question in my head " where was I ?" I turned to face the newcomer , and then bowed. It was no other than princess Luna ! She laughed , and then came in . She looked at me , almost warily. "Where am I ? " I asked her , looking at her directly . "You are in your new home , with all your brothers and sisters , young one." She replied , solemnly. I blinked , and then I fainted... //-------------------------------------------------------// Singing //-------------------------------------------------------// Singing I was lying awake , that night . The night time air was cool and gentle , like a mild summer's breeze. My tail was tickling my flank. I was looking outside , at the beautiful moon , when I heard something . Come little children , I'll take thee away , into a land of enchantment... The singing was beautiful , and I was lulled by it . Suddenly , to my utmost suprise , I started floating in the moonlight ! I flew out of the open window and into the night sky. About eleven or twelve other fillies and colts were there and at the head of them , was princess Luna herself ! I felt calm , as we floated behind her , going through clouds. All I wanted to do was follow Luna forever...
