And then, a huge amount of sounds and noises hit with the strongest power, from 100 W loud speakers. Crowd went really mad, dancing, vigorously stamping and head banging. Lights from stroboscopes, lasers and lamps made a crazy pony dance even crazier. Green, red, white and blue were blending together with ponies manes and coats, giving impression of a speeding rainbow on the dance floor. It wasn’t a classical, Gala like dance, it had lack of a style, order, some harmony. Instead of this, there were a chaos, every moves were unplanned, and impulsive. It cause many different accidents, like bumping to each other, unexpected pushes, or even punches and kicks. But nopony who come to a real, serious rave, didn’t expect to leave it without injuries.A song started to speeding up, while Vinyl was bustling round the table, spinning the discs and knobs, adding a new sound effects, escalating and re-mastering currently playing one. From the view-point of a normal pony it looked like unorganized, chaotic hoof moves, choosing buttons by chance. Nothing could be more wrong. Vinyl Scratch, mostly known from her stage name, DJ-PON3 was recognized in Canterlot music undergrounds as a real composer, virtuoso of dubstep and electro. Along with the praises, mare received many gibes about her unpopularity among other DJ’s. It seemed she was hated by other musicians as much, as her fan loved her and her music. Vinyl had never feared to tell her opinion about somepony piece of music straight to his face. That didn’t brought her many friends in music society. Also, she always repeated that making electronic music had became reiterated, that most of DJ’s are using old, overused themes, with a little or even no changes. She wasn’t alone in this opinion. Down with her ugly, fat plot!”. What was the most funny thing, Vinyl had never thought badly about Princess Celestia or Luna. Actually, she never had some outlook upon politics, she just didn’t care. The only point was to have fun and a little adrenaline. Many times she had a bad record, considering fights, vandalism, even a small robbery. Nothing was planned, all the situation were spontaneous, directed by impulse. If she would have choose one of her motto it would be “You only live once”Vinyl was familiar with lots of condiments like many kinds of alcohol, snuff, cigarettes, zebras blazing grass, even a rainbow dust. The last one was most expensive drug on market. Only production was very dangerous and illicit. To produce a rainbow dust, a Pegasus had to gather a essence of a fresh rainbow and close it in a bottle. Next, the essence must be fortified with many spells. After that, essence need to become dry in about month, and then it’s pulverized in a golden mortar. One portion of this specific was extraordinarily expensive, but Vinyl could afford it. She never visited any record studio, but many club owners fight for her agreement for a show. Usually along with the requests came suitcases filled with money.Vinyl wasn’t poor, she didn’t missed something material. All she suffered was overwhelming boredom. Boredom and some kind of powerless. Before she noticed, she trapped herself in some sick routine. She created a new piece, she even didn’t want to, came to the bars, meet with fellows, and sometimes a little illicit action, just for having opportunity to run away from the guards. She thought, that this, somehow will tear away her from routine, but ironically, it become itself a part of her commonplaceness. It has only one bathroom, kitchen, workroom and a parlour connected with bedroom. Rest of the rooms were closed, without a reason, at least for Vinyl. Once that was Coffee’s parents house, but they have moved to Canterlot. They said, that she can stay here. Of course, their true intensions were most like “We don’t want to see you never ever again, you untalented, pathetic trash!”.The house looks like nopony had been cleaning there since ages. Every space on the floor was covered with crumpled piece of paper, cigarette ends, empty cigarette and empty packs of cigarettes. On the shelves and chairs were unwashed cups, and plates with leftovers still laying on them. Walls didn’t look better – in some places wallpaper was just coming unstuck, at the others it was covered by paintings and drawings, which Coffee received as a gifts from her friends. Vinyl wasn’t bother by mess anyway – she had similar, or even worse in her house.Vinyl and Coffee, unicorn-tattoo artist had met at the concert. From time to time they send each other’s mails, sometimes they met. In strange way, they were similar in certain cases, what was the reason they liked each other. White unicorn came often to Ponyville, to visit Coffee, who usually doesn’t had time to come to Canterlot. Funny thing – I’m about to honour a wedding by my presence and my music. The bridegroom is a chief of Royal Guards. Those, who catch me so many times.” Vinyl laughed, exalting a big amount of smoke.„Congratulations. Did you thought about something clear-cut?” Coffee asked, still more concentrated on her drawings, than a conversation. „Some electro-pop or else shit. Not that I’m nosy.” Coffee turned back and lighted a next cigarette.„I have no choice.” White mare replied with resigned voice. „I dream to start a serious thing with music, but the only thing that is profitable nowadays is damn dubstep or else electro. To be honest – I don’t specially like this music. I know, I play it, but it doesn’t mean that’s like my life destination and true love. But everything I dream about, since like forever, is impossible for me. It’s like seeing your favourite cake behind the glass you can’t break. I can’t play violin, cello, harp, piano, even damn pan-pipe!
