Equestria Goes to the Monsters
Mind Over Mare, Mind Under the Monster
Previous ChapterNext ChapterSomewhere in the Village curiously titled "Our Town"
If you looked far ahead, you'd see a cute little village in the middle of nowhere. It looked nice and fruitful. Happy and pristine. A bit primitive, but classy nonetheless. What a perfect place to start a family!
At least, until you got near the town. Then, prepare to have turrets, missile launchers, and various melee weapons target you until you're granted access.
Oh, and there were LEGO bricks scattered across the entrance's floor. As if it wasn't bad enough already.
You see, this town was quite different from most towns. Yes, it was nice looking, but the smiles on everypony's faces were...off. Nothing but perma-smiles day in and day out. As if they were actually scared of something happening to them if they got out of line. Another odd feature of the residents were the Cutie Marks. All of them were represented by a grey equal sign. No pony was different. No pony was unique.
All were equal under one mare's personal control.

Starlight Glimmer smiled as she looked across her land in her not-so-subtle outfit. She had profited quite nicely from Blueblood's reign. Her efforts to show that Cutie Marks were nothing but limiters of harmony were greatly supported by the ruler's desire to just ship out dissidents into her little town.
The rules were simple. Those with weak wills were gladly allowed entry and the only price was their cutie mark and any emotion other than 'saccharine'. The less than obedient ones...well...
The answer to that question was where she was headed into. She noticed the sign was a bit off kilter, so she fixed it up with a slight push of the hand and admired her work (minor as it was).
Rent-A-Mare
With a title like that, the worst was to be expected. Like cows being sold off at the market, there were several mares being examined by a vast number of ponies. Each mare looked utterly deprived of thought and they moaned excitingly as they were purchased for whatever purpose they would serve.
It was a lucrative business, as it turned out. So long as she took care of Blueblood's haters, she would nab a few bucks.
"I can see the look on his face now." Glimmer smirked to herself as she remembered a distant friend she had long since disowned for simply leaving due to a Cutie Mark.
Long story short: Worst villain motivation ever.
Her eyes moved to one certain sight, however. Some tall figure in a cloak was leering over one of her sluts. Judging by the grunts, it was stallion this time. Something about him just felt wrong. The fact that no feature was revealed through that black cloak was an obvious red flag.
She walked over until she was next to him. He was too preoccupied with looking at the mare to notice the dictator. Glimmer looked at the photo that represented the mare's name-tag.

She remembered when Sunset Shimmer came to her town, claiming she needed supplies for her friend, Twilight Sparkle. Glimmer had heard of this "Twilight" before and she could care less. However, she WAS one of Blueblood's biggest detractors in the election, so claiming one of her allies was a must.
She had also remembered all the rants that were thrown at her from this impudent mare. How she kept calling her society an abomination lacking free will and true unity. Bah! What nonsense! The real clincher, however, was when Sunset punched her in the face.
The brainwashing that she kept secret was...quite something. However, she had done it, she had successfully turned the headstrong ally of Twilight into a subservient breeder amateur. This stallion was literally the first to notice her.
"Interested?" She asked the stranger. He didn't move, but he did give a grunt of approval. He titled his head as he examined the naked mare in her pen.
Sunset could only moan with desire as she looked at her new master. Glimmer would always be the one show her the place she belonged to, but this was her purpose.
All mares are equally worthless...
Obey. Comply. Submit. Breed...
These thoughts kept going through her head as the stranger leaned in. His face was purely obscured by black, but his glowing red eyes were shown. Sunset's mindless smile faded. These eyes were giving off a message.
Remember...remember who you are...
"Ahem!" Glimmer shouted. The stranger looked at her at last. Despite the red eyes, the dictator retained her focus. "I understand you like to look at her, but would you rather buy her? She's quite the catch."
The stranger nodded his head and dropped some bits onto the floor.
"Would you mind removing your cloak instead of fumbling with your resources?" Glimmer raised an eyebrow. All she got was silence as the stranger approached his prize.
"Well, you did pay." Glimmer admitted as she picked up the bits. "Alright. Sunset's yours. Don't forget to visit another time!"
Even with her hatred towards the common pony, it was hard not to retain a good attitude with so many customers.
Later in a Cave not too far away
Sunset had just woken up from a long nap. The time to please her master had come! She whimpered with anticipation as her loins grew wet.
Much to her surprise, she could not move. She looked around helplessly, until she noticed that her hands and hooves were trapped in chains. She was spread out, as if she was going to be examined by a scientist.
Speaking of people, the Stranger walked in again. His eyes still glowed bright with a terrifying glow, but they were also focuses once more on the mare. He edged closer and leaned downward.
"I...I am worthless...I need to breed..." Sunset breathed, her voice quivering with desire, alongside bits of regret, it seemed.
"You are not worthless." He replied in voice that sounded like a stereotypical snake. "You are Sunset Shimmer. I've heard about your exploits in the world you once lived in."
Sunset looked like she didn't understand. All she could think about now was the desire to mate with this stallion. No matter what.
"You may have caused havoc at one point, but you grew. You had friends to guide you and you managed to save our school twice. Solo, even, during the second time." He kept going. "I apologize for being a creeper, but that's all I could do before I was sent back to Tartarus. Now, I am here. I am here to help you regain your being."
"I need...to breed...haaaa..." She started to resist against her chains.
The stranger just got out a book you swear would also count as a door-stopper. "Let's see...insert Paralyze Enzyme through any orifice." He looked around the various ingrediants in this cave of his. "Hmmm...funny. I thought I had some. Might as well improvise."
With that, he leaned down to Sunset's now-beet red face and another feature came out of the blackness that concealed his visage. A mouth of razor sharp teeth (with extra large canines, as well) and a long forked tongue. He leaned even further and kissed her in the mouth.
Sunset gladly returned it, but then she felt something even better. Liquid that tasted like ambrosia flowed down her throat. However that was happening, it felt like utter bliss. It also was making her feel rather drowsy.
Eventually, he pulled out, his tongue covered in the liquid. Sunset let out a happy sigh before going off to sleep.
The Stranger couldn't help it. Not only were they roughly the same age, based on her physique, but she was the image of a perfect mare. Her lovely yellow color, her blue eyes, her vibrant red/yellow mane, her decent sized breasts...
The only thing that was missing was her personality. Before, she was fiery and confrontational, even a bit conniving. After a little help, though, she became kind, loyal, and a bit awkward. Mating her seemed tantalizing.
But, if was going to help the populace, her needs came first. Reading further, he searched for a way to restore her. "Okay. Rub Cerebral Lotion all over her skin and hold her close. Use your scary vampire powers to invade her mind and purge the problem." He closed the book. "That's...awfully specific, but it'll have to do."
He got out the ingredient and got to work. His claws traced across her skin, leaving a smooth surface in its wake. She certainly looked aroused as he rubbed it into some sensitive spots, like her stomach, neck, legs, breasts, and groin.
"Alright. Now, onto the next step." He said to himself before laying down on the table. He wrapped his cloak around the two of them and pulled in, making sure they were close. "You're the closest thing I'll ever get to experiencing the love of the sun. I will now show you the wonders of the night."
His tone grew a bit more hostile with the last line before he entered her mind. "And I will show whatever problem's in your head the terror of darkness..."
Inside Sunset Shimmer's Mind
Sunset knew time was running out. She could feel herself fading away. For the last 3 days, she had to witness her body do things she would have never been caught dead doing. Sure, she was no stranger to having the feeling of wanting to bone a stallion (Flash was the one that got away, after all) or maybe a mare (Twilight...?), but this was just too much. She was a slut and she knew it.
All because she had to walk into that accursed town to get supplies. She hoped that somepony would come to rescue her one day from this nightmare. But alas, she was bought by an ambiguous figure before that could happen. Sure, he seemed affable, but aside from him buying her, she could see no more of what was happening outside her mind.
That's because chains were holding her naked form's legs down to the ground. Her arms were also chained. The more she struggled, the quicker the usual duo came towards her.
"Hello, slut. Need I remind you why we don't want you here?" The form of Starlight Glimmer came into view, still wearing that vague SS uniform.
"I...am Sunset Shimmer. I'm not a Celestia-damned whore! Just shut up about it!" The unicorn spat at her. It always felt good to do that.
"No. You belong to her. Just like I belonged to you until I made the RIGHT decision." Said the mocking voice of a demonic looking Flash Sentry. "Who know? Maybe I got Twilight in the sack and you didn't know it. She might have been lying to you..."
"Just shut up already! We broke up and that's final!" Sunset shouted, bad memories flowing right back at her.
"You see? You need us to take the pain away." Starlight Glimmer edged further and started to trace her hands across a very uncomfortable Sunset. "It'll feel great to have your body be violated and claimed by a good stallion. You just gotta...fade away. It'll feel...liberating."
"No...I'm not..." Too late. Sunset could feel her mind within her mind drift even further away. "I...I...I..."
"Just let it happen." The fake Flash sneered. "It'll feel better than the times you attempted to bone me. Not that they would ever work. Right?" He looked at the sudden cloaked figure that appeared behind him.
"Think about it. All those horrible memories of individuality and inequality will go down the drain." Glimmer licked the terrified unicorn's face softly. "Isn't that wonder-"
SLASH!
The top half of Fake Flash's head fell down to where Glimmer was standing. The fading of Sunset stopped as both she and Glimmer stared at the bloody mess with wide eyes. The rest of the body fell apart as well.
Between the both of them, Glimmer was the one who let out the ear-piercing scream at the perpetrator.
The beast in front of them was now hanging upside down for no adequate reason. He was a large muscular bat monster with red dragon scales covering every inch of his skin except for a slight grey underside. The long tail he had ended in a sharp barb. On each hand were 4 fingers with no thumb and a circular mouth of razor sharp teeth on the palms. The neck had hair-like spikes jutting from the back and his wings had an impressive wingspan. The giant reptilian red eyes with black irises on the wings were the most disturbing feature second to the extra mouths. And his first words were...
"Huh. You really CAN get a boner upside down."
"What...WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Glimmer shouted when she was finished screaming. Sunset, while trying to get over what she was seeing just now, noticed that her memories were starting to fill the empty void of her mind a bit more. The death of the Fake Flash seemed to have done that.
"I am her newest friend. You may call me Sanguinem. Composer, poet, scientist, and the one who will free this mare from your influence." He said as he moved closer.
Conjuring up a gun, Glimmer shot at the advancing beast. "NO! I AM GOD HERE! You don't even belong in this mind!"
The bullets just phased through him. "Really? Bullets? Not even silver ones. Not that anything would help. You're right about one thing, though. The two of us don't belong here. I'll leave when I'm done picking you out of my teeth."
"I'm a manifestation of the brainwashing I've been committing on this worthless mare! I don't taste like anything!" Glimmer retorted, trying to dissuade him.
"I eat Nighmares, you twat." Sanguinem smirked. "And you look positively juicy. Full of contempt and corruption. I love that in my food."
"STAY AWAY! GO AWAY! I'M THE GOD! NOT YOU! I AM!" Glimmer kept shooting him to no avail. The chains around Sunset were starting to loosen.
"Snack time!" The vampire gleefully shouted before taking to the air and barreling towards the mare. Glimmer was instantly knocked down and she laid on her back as the beast loomed over her. She shivered with terror as the secondary mouths loomed over her.
"You know...some of us monsters mate with their prey before they eat them." Sanguinem stated. "Disturbing, yes. I'll cut straight to the point and just rip you limb from limb." He turned to Sunset. "Close your eyes and remember. None of this is real."
The mare did just that. Whatever was about to happen was going to be ugly as the home this monster claimed to be from.
Glimmer was about so say something about how her town was untouchable, but she was cut off by the beast ripping her outfit off and sinking his claws into her stomach. She screamed as he tore at her flesh, revealing her insides to him. Screeching loudly, the bat behemoth sunk his claws even deeper into there, allowing his secondary mouths to feast on the organs and suck up the blood.
The dictator's mouth gurgled with blood as he continued to eat her from the inside. Then, Sanguinem bit down on her face. With that, he began to devour it. Skin, flesh, muscle, bone, and all. The sight of so much gore threw him into a euphoric bliss, pressing him to continue lapping up the bits that were left behind.
After a few horrifying minutes, he was full. Starlight Glimmer was now nothing but a carcass. The head was a sticky mess, the body was ripped open sloppily, and the whole mare looked white as as sheet. The blood was completely drained from her body and anywhere else it fell.
"Ah. That...felt great." The vampire liked his hands. His face turned from pleasure to concern as he looked at Sunset. Her eyes were shut tightly, not wanting to look upon the carnage.
She gasped a little when his hand cupped her cheek and her head was turned the other direction. She was now looking at her violent savior.
"Don't be afraid. I just go a bit crazy during feeding time." He bashfully said. "I promise that won't happen in the real world. Right now, observe yourself."
Sunset did just that and realized she was free at last! She could feel her body's will returning and all the good time she had were whole again.
"You...you saved me. Just...not in the way I would have wanted." She rubbed the back of her head.
"I know. I am a monster. It's not something I do a whole lot, but it's a necessity sometimes. That's why I stick to dreams." He stated. "Trust me when I say that while I nurse you back to health, I won't do the same to you or any of your friends. Or any innocent creature for that matter. Have I made myself clear?"
"Okay. I guess." The mare shrugged. She then felt warm and smooth now. "Hey...have you been...doing things with my body?"
"Only mandatory things." He quickly said. "You're a very beautiful specimen, but I only put lotion on your skin and cuddled with you to save your mind. Unless you truly enjoy it, of course."
"No, no. It's fine." She stated. "Kinda hot, too." She got a bit closer to him. "You're not too bad looking either."
"Heh. I do remember how to keep my wings manicured." He smiled.
"We could always...you know...never hurts to be REALLY sure, right." She wrapped her legs around his waist.
"Of course..." Sanguinem hissed as they leaned in for a kiss. He could feel the erection coming up as her breasts squeezed against his chest.
Back in the Real World...
Sunset woke up with a startled expression. Whatever had happened had restored her, yes, but also...aroused her in some kind of way. She looked around her "room". A dimly lit cave with lab equipment and spellbooks. Kind of suspicious, actually. Her lack of clothes didn't help, but she at least knew how that came to be.
She also noticed that she was being cuddled by the vampiric monstrosity that had saved her mind from carnal oblivion. He snored in a cute manner as he slept. Kind of like a kitten.
Her expression turned to quite a warm one. "Just you wait until tomorrow." She murmured as she kissed him on the nose. With that, she fell into a much more peaceful sleep.
Twilight had a Knight in Shining Armor for a brother. Not to brag, but now she had a Dark Knight for a lover.
Author's Note
Theme of Sanguinem:

Did I say standard? I meant this was probably going to be more fragged up than usual. Just to let you know, this takes place in a canon before Season 6 ended. At least we have even more potential for a feasible plot. And for those of you wanting the other version of Sunset...
Up next, the DJ arrives...and the feels begin...for a bit...before some softcore fragging...with a living Swiss Army Knife. Yep.
