The Elementals The introduction

Country Bang trotted through the city, just looking for a troublemaker. This was her city, an it was becomin of her to start doin a mighty fine job of protectin it. Especially since it was in this here fact, her city! Not anyone else's city, but her's. Her's! She was on guard. She was ready for anything that came her way. So when she saw a particularly suspicious earth pony leaping from roof to roof, she decided to trail her. The pony was tan, with a dark brown mane and tail, and orange and turquoise stripes in her hair. The tan mare darted from building roof to building roof, with no sense of caution appearing in her tireless rooftop assault. Her stamina was incredible. But more incredible was the arrows, bow, and quiver strapped onto the pony's back. Applejack had never seen anypony quite like her.

The pony turned her head, and Country Bang saw how her eyes were a unique shade of caramel brown. They glittered like homemade chocolate. But they also had an element of dangerousness to them. She disappeared down into an alleyway, and as she plopped down into the gap, Country Bang had just enough time to pinpoint the alley she was in. She was intrigued, and felt herself running faster than required to see exactly where the suspicious earth pony had gone.
