My Little Pony Friendship is Magic/Love Season 1

Today is our very first sleepover at my house. My poodle dog, Elusive, my two best friends, and I are in my room getting ready for the very first episode that is about to start of My Little Pony. Me, Brianna and Sandra are together about to watch the episode. All of us are in our pajamas enjoying food and company together. I was wearing a red, black, gray, and white plaid pajama pants with a brownish beadier, I had a scratch pad and song writing book while we waiting. Brianna was wearing a purple pajama pants with a plain black shirt, her mind was on her family and how she loved them so dearly. Sandra was wearing a pink shirt with black pajama pants and she had her scratch pad and pencil.

“I can’t wait I’m so happy that I’m sleeping over with my best friends,” Sandra says.

“Same here,” I said, “But don’t get too excited about it.”

“Oh look it’s starting.”

“Um guys,” says Brianna, “Is that what supposed to happen.” She was pointing at the TV and yes something happened to the TV.

Sandra says, “What’s going on.”

“I don’t know,” I said.

The TV was all blurry and crazy until it stopped and we were happy that it stops. However it didn’t end there, because it turned back on but there was a hole in the middle of my TV and we were wondering why is there a hole in the middle of TV.

“What is going on here Jonathan,” Brianna said.

“Don’t know,” I said.

After saying my last word, we started looking in the hole until it started sucking us up into the TV. We needed help real bad.

“Elusive, we need help,” I said

Elusive tried to pull me back, but not Brianna or Sandra. However, a hand came out and pushed me and Elusive into the TV and before we could escape out of the hole, the hole closed at me.

Sandra wondered “What’s going on here.”

I just shrugged on that question. We were floating and was wondering what’s going to happen next. Three holes came out of nowhere in front of us and we started falling to whatever place we are heading. I continued falling down with my poodle, but what was more strange, my body started changing, so as my poodle dog. I don’t know what is going to happen, but whatever it is I hope somebody will give me some answers.

“Urn…, what happened,” I said while trying to opening my eyes.

“Hello sir, are you okay,” a strange looking talking horse said.

Wait a minute I know that voice anywhere. I sprang myself up and I found myself face to face with…

“Twilight Sparkle?” I said

She was a purple mare with a navy blue with pink streaks mane and her cutiemark was like a compass but it looks more of a star. She was

caring a whole bunch of books in some kind of bag to somewhere in this unknown world.

Twilight says, “That’s me.”

I had to make a second look at her just in case. “Awesome,” I said

“Thank you kind sir,” Twilight says.

“Uh, where am I, wait a minute, am I talking,” a white creature says. The creature was looking at himself and started freaking out.

“Wha… who the heck am I,” the creature said.

Twilight says, “You are in Canterlot.”

“Oh……, wait what!?” the creature and I said together.

The dragon got up but while getting up he wondered who was the voice he just heard and from who. “Jonathan!” the dragon ran over to me.

“Elusive!” I said.

“So you’re Elusuive,” pointing at the dragon, “And you’re Jonathan,” Twilight said

“Yep,” I said.

“O…..K…..then….come with me,” Twilight says.

We are inside the Canterlot library and Twilight slammed the door on another dragon but smaller than my dragon.

“Spike, Spiiiiiike, oh there you are,” Twilight says.

Spike says, “Who are you two.”

I said, “I am Jonathan.”

“And I am Elusive,” Elusive said.

“Sweet another dragon and she’s a lady dragon,” Spike said

“Um I ‘m no she, I’m a he and also I’m also a little taller than you so yeah,” Elusive said.

“Aw man,” Spike walks away.

“So are you two from around here?” Twilight said.

“No,” Elusive said

“We are originally from a planet name Earth,” I said

Twilight says, “Earth, so you’re not a pony and you’re not a dragon.”

Elusive says,” Not really at all, I’m really a male poodle dog.”

“Uh huh, and what about you Jonathan,” Twilight says.

“I’m actually a human in earth, but I’m not the only human in here,” I said.

“There’s more!” with a shocking face.

“Yeah, me, Brianna, and Sandra we are best friends in the whole world where I’m from. We apparently got sucked inside your show by a hole,” I said.

“Hm I should give a note about this and while at it, tell her about the mare in the moon too,” Twilight says.

While Twilight and I were talking, she was reading a book that dealt with some kind of creature that might end our time being around the sun.

After Twilight commotion on me, my dog, and the mare in the moon, Spike sent the letter in a way I never thought could be possible same with my dragon/dog.

“I never seen a dragon do that,” I said.

“Same here,” Elusive said.

“Well that’s because I’m a magical baby dragon your... dragon can also do it too,” Spike said.

“Aw how cute and really?” I said.

"Yeah," he answered

Elusive tried it out on a piece of paper and it did the same thing, but instead of green fire, it was a purple fire. Spike belched and out came a scroll which I think is gross and very clever at the same time. Spike clears his throat and starts ready what the person, or in this world pony has to say.

"My dearest and most faithful student Twilight," Spike read, "there is more to a young pony's life than books and studying.”

I started laughing and Twilight glared at me for laughing at her. I stopped and walked on out the library.

Twilight, Spike, Elusive and I are riding on a chariot to Twilight’s destination.

Spike continues reading, “So I'm sending you to supervise preparations for The Summer Sun Celebration in this year's location: Ponyville.  And I have an even more essential task for you to complete: make some friends. In addition, I thought about killing the colt you mentioned, but after saying that he has friends of his own, I thought he can be very handy for you to come around."

“Oh I was also wondering who the heck I am, same with my dog, uh well I don’t know who he really is,” I said

Twilight turned around to me and my dog. She started at me first, then my dog. “You are a unicorn and your so called dog is a dragon,” Twilight said and she turned aback around.

I apparently am a unicorn and my mane a mixture of red and black streaks and coat was red with gray spots everywhere. My dog, um I mean dragon looks completely all white which I’m fine with, but his spikes were gray.

“Oh… but there’s one question, what in the world is this on the side of my………flank?” I said.

Twilight continued saying, “That there is your cutiemark.”

“Cutie……mark, hm never heard of it.”

“A cutiemark is something that shows your special talent, look and see for yourself.”

“Special talent?” I turned around to see what my cutiemark is.

My cutiemark has a picture of a shaped heart, however, it’s not normally what hearts look like because there was a musical note, a sewing needle, ballet shoes, and a string that created the heart because I love to do all of them at my spear times. In the middle was showing two twinkling stars, however, I don’t know what that means hm.

“Um Jonathan, Jonathan, JONATHAN!” Elusive said

“Hu what is it,” I snapped out my daydreaming.

Twilight continued, “We’re here.”

Spike said.  "Come on Twilight making friends is really not like being in a horror movie."

“Yeah making friends is really nice and once you start knowing a little more, then your friendship will grow too.” I said

Twilight, Spike, Elusive and I were walking around Ponyville until two pink mares came up in front of us. One of the mares what full on shades of pink and her cutiemark had three balloons, while the other pink mare had black and pink hair streaks in her mane and her cutiemark was a pencil diagonally on top of a scratchpad and just like me, two twinkling stars were on the scratch pad. Well I do know someone who likes to draw but I think she wasn’t the one.

They both gasped and speeded past through us at the moment when Twilight said “hello” to them.

“Um well that was weird,’ I said

“Truly weird,” Twilight said, ‘let’s just continue on.”

“Right,” Elusive, Spike, and I said.

Twilight, Spike, Elusive, and I are starting our journey in some kind of farm far away from Ponyville.

"Summer Sun Celebration: Official Overseer's Checklist," Spike read.

Elusive continues, "Number One: banquet preparations.  Sweet Apple Acres."

Beyond the fence stood a house that looked like it had been converted from a barn.  It was bright red with white trim.  It was almost mistaken for an actual barn, but the flower planters from the window sills and the additions made to the building such as the porch and a little fence of its own.  Off to one side there were animals.  There were chickens clucking around near coops, pigs snorting happily as they wallowed and ate, and cows standing around in pastures, munching grass with a few gossiping about the ponies they had seen and some of the other cows in other parts of the pasture.  Off to another were some gardens with plants.  Most were too small or young to be recognizable to the group from Canterlot.  It was safe to guess they were probably something grown to be eaten though.

Most of all, there were apple trees.  Hundreds, if not thousands, of apple trees.  Entire hills were covered in them as far as the eye could see.  Many of them were covered with the fruit.  They grew small and large, in green, yellow, red, and mixes of the colors as well as shades in between.

"Yeehaw!" shouted a southern female voice. An orange earth pony with a blonde mane tied in a ponytail, a brown Stetson hat, and three red apples for a cutie mark rushed up to an apple tree and kicked it, sending its contents into the baskets nestled underneath. She then gave a small pose, a way of congratulating herself.

"Let's get this over with" Twilight sighed as she trotted over to the mare. "Good afternoon," she began, "my name is Twilight Sparkle...".

Suddenly, the orange mare grabbed her hoof and shook it vigorously. How she 'grabbed' it, so to speak, I have no idea.

"Well howdy doo Miss Twilight!" the southern pony greeted enthusiastically, "A pleasure makin' your acquaintance! Ah'm Applejack, we here at Sweet Apple Acres sure do like makin' new friends!"

"Friends?" Twilight asked, her voice vibrating as her hoof was continuously shook, "Actually, I..."

"An' who are you mister?" Applejack interrupted, turning to me and releasing Twilight's hoof, which kept shaking up and down until Spike stopped her. He snickered at her distress.

“Oh me I’m Jonathan James Hill and this is my dragon Elusive, I’m not usually from around here,” I said

“Really?” Applejack said.

Twilight continued saying, “He’s originally from a planet name earth.”

“Well that very kind of ya,” Applejack says speaking in a country voice.

“Thank you, I do talk country myself at time to time,” I said.

Applejack stared at me, ‘Did you live in a farm.”

“No, why asking.”

“I was just wondering besides if you were not born in a farm then how can you speak country.” She continued.

“Well my mother was born in the south she was more of a slave and my dad was born in the north he wasn’t really kind of a slave to what I

heard of.” I nervously say.

She still continued to stare at me wondering where I’m from, “So you’re from earth.”

“Yes, there are seven continents, two oceans I think, and a couple of lakes and seas, oh and a whole lot of countries and cities,’ I stated out.

“And you’re from,” Applejack said.

Elusive continued saying, “We’re from the United State of America.”

Twilight cleared her throat, "Well, I am in fact here to supervise preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration, and you're in charge of the food?"

"We sure as sugar are!" AJ proudly declared, "Would ya care to sample some?"

"As long as it doesn't take too long." Twilight replied, but before she had even finished her sentence AJ had rushed off and rang a rusty triangle.

"SOUP'S ON, EVERYPONY!" she hollered.

*WHAM!*

Before the three of us could react, me, Twilight and Spike were struck from behind by a stampede of ponies. When the dust cleared, we found ourselves sitting at a table in a gazebo.

"Now," AJ announced, popping up next to us, "How 'bout ah introduce y'all to the Apple Family?". She pointed out to all the ponies that were surrounding us.

"Thanks," Twilight began, "but we really need to hurry...", she was cut off as a fritter was shoved in front of her face by a yellowish-green pony with a green mane.

AJ then began introducing all of her family members, each one putting an apple based food product onto the table as she said their names. I would tell you their names, but I'm afraid I lost track as her speaking began to speed up and the food began piling up on the table.

“It’s a free country, but we still have rules and some I don’t like specifically.”

“Really like what,” Twilight said.

“One has to deal with guns but I think this place don’t have to deal with guns,” I said. I hope

“So you guys can use, in your world, guns," Twilight said.

I shook my head agreeing that we use guns at my country.

“But I don’t like the idea of having guns where I live,’ I said

“Oh really,’ twilight said.

“Yes, I prefer peace and love,” I continued saying.

“Aw that’s the best thing I ever heard,” she said.

Finally, she inhaled and introduced the last three. "Big Macintosh," she pointed to a large red stallion with a brownish-blonde mane that was holding a cupcake in his hoof. "Apple Bloom," to a small yellow filly with a red mane and a cute purple bow who was balancing a cake on her back. "and," she announced before shoving an apple into Twilight's mouth, "Granny Smith", she pointed to an elderly mare dozing in a rocking chair.

"Up an' at 'em Granny Smith!" AJ called over to the old mare, "We got guests!"

Granny Smith woke up and slowly walked up to the gazebo, mumbling incoherently.

"Why, ah'd say, they're already part of the family!". AJ's comment caused Twilight to spit out the apple in her mouth.

"Okay," she said, laughing nervously, "well,  I can see the food situation is handled so we'll be on our way."

"Aren't ya gonna stay for brunch?" the yellow filly asked. She stared at us with huge puppy dog eyes, her bottom lip trembling as if she was about to cry.

My heart melted. How could anyone say no to something as adorable as that? I found myself opening my mouth to speak, but Twilight cut me off before I could say anything.

"Sorry," she said, "but we have an awful lot to do."

Everypony, including me, sighed disappointedly and lowered their heads and disappointment.

Twilight looked around at everypony around her and the sad expressions on their faces, "Fine." she said begrudgingly. Everypony around us

cheered, while I kept my happiness to myself.

I looked around and I saw another mare but this time she was an earth pony, since Twilight told me there are earth, unicorn, and pegasi ponies around what apparently is called Equestria. Her coat purple just like Twilight, but her mane is way different than Twilight’s mane because it has black and purple streaks of hair in the mane. Her cutiemark had two twinkling stars just like mines and that other girl that I don’t know she is when we met her in Ponyville. It might represent something but what I didn’t want to know what it means. She started walking over towards me.

“Hey there stranger,’ she said.

Wait that voice, is it really? “Brianna?” I said.

She just blinked, "How do you know my name."

AJ came up next to Brianna, “oh you might not know him Bri.”

Bri, I like it.

AJ continued, “This here is Jonathan.” I just smiled and wave at her.

Her eyes widen open in realization. “Jonathan, oh my gosh, it’s really you.” She said. She started running over to me and began hugging me real tight and I did the same. While we were hugging the twinkling stars in our cutiemark started glowing brighter and brighter the minute.

Twilight, Spike, Elusive, AJ and the rest of AJ families were staring at us in shock.

Me and Bri opened our eyes and looked around noticing that we were floating and everyone was looking at us in shock, so we stopped hugging and we came down after that in embarrassment.

“We should continue on going,” I said while walking.

Twilight said, “Sure.”

We were starting to walk until we were stopped by Bri.

“Wait, I’m coming with you,” Bri says while running towards us.

“We really don’t need more people,” Twilight said.

“Look Twilight, we’re best friends and we need to stick together,” I said.

“Fine,” she said in an annoyed tone.

“Thanks Twilight,” Bri said.

“Yay Bri,” Elusive jumps on Brianna

“Elusive, you’re a dragon and you can talk,’ Bri said.

“Yeah, and she’s not the only dragon that can talk,” Spike said.

“Who are you,’ Bri asked.

“I’m Spike,” he said.

“Aw cute,” she picks him up and continues on with our journey until AJ came up to us and gave us a dozen of pies.

“Here’s some pies for the journey you taking,” she said.

“Thanks AJ,” I said.

AJ thanked me and we continued on with our journey.

A while later, the five of us were walking back into town, "Food job taken care of," Spike read from his scroll, "next is weather". Twilight and Brianna trailed behind us, her stomach bloated.

"Uhh," she groaned, "I ate too much pie."

“Me too,” Bri groaned too.

Well they had too many pies while I was fine besides I have eaten a lot before, but today I didn’t want to over stuff myself today.

"Hmm," Spike pondered, "there's supposed to be a pegasus pony named Rainbow Dash clearing the clouds"

“Yeah, where is she anyway,” Elusive says.

Looking up, Bri, Twilight and I clearly saw a large number of clouds floating in the sky. "Well she's not doing a very good job is she?" Twilight said sarcastically.

Me and Brianna nodded in agreement at Twilight’s comment.

*WHAM!*

Before I knew what had happened, me, Brianna, and Twilight were lying in muddy puddle, having suddenly felt a force suddenly crash into my

side, which caused me to crash into Twilight and leave us face down in mud.

"Excuse me?" a new voice giggled. It sounded raspy , yet unmistakably female. I looked up and saw a cyan coloured pegasus with a rainbow coloured mane hovering over us. Her cutie mark was a white cloud with a rainbow coloured lightning bolt striking from it. Definitely Rainbow Dash, I thought, no question about it.

"Let me help you." she said before zooming off. She immediately came back with a large gray cloud, which she placed directly on top of me and Twilight. How did she do that? The next thing I knew, me, Brianna, and Twilight were drenched with cold water that rained from the cloud. Seeing as it moved slightly up and down, I could assume that the multi-coloured mare was bouncing on the cloud to make the water come out from underneath. Wow, the ponies could control weather? Humans could only dream of being able to do something like that!

Rainbow Dash looked down at us from the cloud, which I noticed was now white after having used up all of its rain water. "Oops," she giggled, "I guess I overdid it! How about this?".

Before I could even respond, she suddenly circled me and Twilight at an incredible speed. I couldn't see anything beside a rainbow blur spinning around us, and could feel the huge gust of air that was blowing around me as a result. "My very own patented Rain-Blow dry!" I heard Rainbow declare. Finally, the spinning stopped, and I could see the outside world once more. However, I knew that whatever the cyan pegasus had done, it had completely dishevelled mine and Twilight's hair.

"No no no," Rainbow said as he landed back on the ground, "don't thank me. You're quite welcome." She stared at me, Brianna, and Twilight, and tried to suppress a laugh, her eyes tearing up. Unfortunately, she couldn't control herself and fell to the ground laughing. And if that wasn't enough, Spike and Elusive joined in, lying on Rainbow's back as they both laughed uncontrollably.

"Let me guess," Twilight said un-amused, "you're Rainbow Dash?"

"The one and only!" Rainbow stood up, knocking Spike off her back. She began hovering in front of us, flapping her wings to stay in the air.

"Why? You hear of me?" she asked, shoving her head in front of Twilight.

"I heard you meant to be keeping the sky clear." Twilight said. She sighed before continuing, "I'm Twilight Sparkle, and..."

“I’m Jonathan and this is my dragon Elusive and my best Brianna and the Princess sent me and Twilight to check on the weather.” I said and while saying Elusive and Brianna’s name, they waved and said “Hello” to Rainbow Dash.

Pointing at me, Brianna, and Elusive. “So you’re Jonathan… and you’re Brianna…… and you’re Elusive.

We nodded our head in agreement. “Me and Brianna are best friends,’ while saying that we put our hooves over each other and again the twinkling stars in our cutiemark started glowing and we were floating…again. We had to stop after Rainobw Dash’s shocker.

“He….he,’ me and Brianna nervously said.

‘Woah, I never seen that happened before,” Rainbow said.

“I know it happened before at the farm,” Twilight said.

“Really?’ Rainbow said.

“Yeah,’ Spike said.

“Um, guys what about the weather,” Bri said.

"Oh yeah, that'll be a snap!" Rainbow said dismissively, now lying on the cloud, "I'll do that in a jiffy, just as soon as I'm done practicing."

"Practicing for what?" Twilight inquired.

"The Wonderbolts!" Dash declared, pointing to a nearby poster, "They're gonna perform at the celebration tomorrow, and I'm gonna show em my stuff!". She jumped off the cloud she was on and landed on another.

"The Wonderbolts?" Twilight asked.

"Yup!"

"The most talented fliers in all of Equestria?"

"That's them!"

"Please," Twilight scoffed, "they'd never accept a pegasus who can't keep the sky clear for one measly day!"

"Hey!" Rainbow countered, "I can clear this sky in ten seconds flat!"

"Prove it." Twilight replied slyly, narrowing her eyes in smug confidence.

Rainbow Dash immediately took flight and before you knew it, she really had cleared the sky in the said time limit. I watched in awe at this marvel, it was a very impressive sight to behold. As for Twilight, Elusive, Brianna, Spike, and I, our jaws had dropped like a ton of anvils in amazement.

"What did I tell you?" Rainbow declared smugly, "Ten. Seconds. Flat. I'd never leave Ponyville hangin'!" She laughed, "You should see the looks on your faces. You're a laugh Twilight, Brianna, and Jonathan. I can't wait to hang out some more!" This caused all of us to snap out of her shock induced trance.

Brianna and I smiled at Rainbow, but for Twilight, she just growled.

Spike wrote down something on his scroll, we were about to enter town hall. "Decorations," he read as we entered the town hall. I stared in awe at the sight before me. Whoever did all this had really outdone them in my opinion!

"Beautiful." said Spike, sounding a mile away.

"Yes," Twilight agreed, "the decor is coming along nicely. This ought to be quick. I'll be at the library in no time! Beautiful indeed."

"Not the decor," Spike said dreamily, "her!" He pointed towards a pure white unicorn with a curled purple mane and three diamonds as her cutie mark. I noticed that she had larger eyelashes compared to the other mares I had seen.

"No, no, no." she said to herself as she looked at different ribbons. She had a very sophisticated voice, almost upper class like. "Oh!” she exclaimed at one, "Goodness, no!"

Spike stared at her, his eyes having morphed into two hearts. "How are my spines?" he asked, "Are they straight?" “Yes they’re straight lover boy," Elusive said. “Shut up,’ Spike said. Elusive laughed it out on what he said to Spike. I stared at her as well, but not because of her good look. It was because her horn started to glow a blue aura, and the ribbons were actually floating. Hm I’m a unicorn, so should be able to do that too, but how?

"How is she doing that?" I asked Brianna.

“She’s using magic to levitate those objects that she has, you can do it too,” Brianna said. She was right I can do it, but I really don’t know how to use magic.

We all walked over to the mare and Twilight began saying, “good afternoon.”

"Just a moment please," the white mare declared, "I'm in the zone, as it were!"

"Oh yes," she said as she tied a sparkling red ribbon to a wooden pole, "sparkle always does the trick, does it not? Why Rarity, you are a talent!" So Rarity was here name? "Now, how can help you-Wahaha!" she screamed in horror as soon as she saw us, "Oh my stars, darlings! Whatever happened to your coiffures?!"

"Oh, you mean my mane?" Twilight asked, looking up at the crow's nest she had nestled on her head, "Well, it's a long story. I'm just here to check on the decorations and then I'll be out of your hair!"

"Out of my hair?" Rarity asked, "What about your hair?" She immediately came over and started pushing me, Brianna, and Twilight away somewhere.

"Wait, where are we going? Help!" Twilight yelped.

“Uh where are we going Rarity?” I said.

“Well of course my boutique,’ Rarity said.

Brianna and I were nervous on what Rarity will do to us.

Rarity had taken me and Twilight all the way from the town hall to the Carousel Boutique, which as it turned she owned, insisting that she fixed our manes and that she find us an outfit for the Summer Sun Celebration. Now that Rarity had finished with me, she had switched her assault of fashion onto Twilight and Brianna.

"No, no, uh-uh." she rambled on as she had Twilight wear a vast assortment of different outfits, "Too green! Too yellow! Too poofy! Not poofy enough! Too frilly! Too shiny!". Finally, she placed Twilight in a white outfit with an emerald encrusted on the front. To be honest, it reminded me of both a saddle and a corset.

"Now go on my dear," Rarity said to Twilight, "You were telling me where you're from!" She started tugging onto the cords on the back of both outfits with her mouth.

"I've... been sent... from Canterlot... too..." Twilight managed to wheeze out, before Rarity suddenly released her grip and sent herself flying backwards.

"Canterlot?!" she cried, "Oh, I am so envious! The glamour! The sophistication! I've always dreamed of living there!" She then turned to me and asked, "And where are from there as well good sir?"

“I’m not from here, you see me, Elusive, and Brianna are from a planet called Earth,” I said

"Yeah…..it’s…….really strange……,” Bri continued.

Elusive continued on saying, “We were sucked in by a hole that was in the middle of the hole.”

“Earth, never heard of it,’ Rarity said.

“Well where we are from our name is the United State of America the free country,’ I continued on.

Rarity continued saying, “So there’s no rules right.”

“Well,’ Elusive, Brianna, and I said.

I started to tell her about my country. Then, Brianna continued on with politics and all of the other stuff that went on through the years. Finally, Elusive told her about this year and how it’s like today.

“Wow that’s very interesting,” Rarity commented, “We're going to be best friends, the three of us!" She noticed the emerald encrusted in Twilights outfit.

"Emeralds?! Oh, what was I thinking? Let me get you two some rubies!" she declared before rushing off.

"Quick," Twilight said, running for the door, "before she decides to dye my coat a new color!"

“Right, because I like my mane very much,” Brianna stated.

“I’ll just stay here with Rarity,’ Spike said in a loving way.

Elusive snatches Spike away from Rarity, “Come on lover boy”

“Hey,” Spike said angrily.

"Wasn't she wonderful?" Spike said dreamily, lying on Twilight's back following our 'escape' from Rarity's boutique.

"Focus Casanova." Twilight told him, "What's next on the list?"

"Oh! Music!" Spike read from the scroll in his claw, "It's the last one!" Suddenly, the three of us heard a beautiful chorus of birdsong. It sounded too organized for it to simply be birds though. Following it’s, we found a butter yellow pegasus with a strawberry mane and a cutie mark of three butterflies for her cutie mark hovering in front of a small tree. A number of birds were perched on the tree, which was chirping a beautiful tune. Suddenly one of them began to sing out of tune.

"Oh my." the pegasus said in a demure voice, "Stop please everyone". She flew up to the out of tune bird, "Excuse me sir? I mean no offence, but your rhythm is just a teeny tint bit off." As she flew back to her previous position, she told them all, "Now, follow me please. A one. A two. A one, two, three..."

"Hello!" Twilight suddenly interrupted, causing the pegasus to gasp and her birds to scatter into the air. I as always had to smack myself on the head for Twilight’s utter greeting.

"Oh my, I'm so sorry." She apologized, "I didn't mean to frighten your birds. I'm just here to check on the music and it sounded beautiful."

The pegasus landed on the ground in front of us, but didn't make any attempts at conversation, she just stood there staring at the ground, causing Twilight to start grinning nervously.

"I'm Twilight Sparkle." Twilight introduced herself, but the pegasus still didn't reply, "What's your name?"

"Um... I'm..." the pegasus whispered. I couldn't hear what she said her name was, she was so quite.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" Twilight asked, clearly not hearing her.

"Um... my name is..." the pegasus mumbled again, even less audible than before.

"Didn't quite catch that." Twilight still couldn't hear her.

This time, the pegasus just whimpered fearfully, hiding her face behind her mane.

“Let me try it for you,” I went over to the shy pegasus and whispered, “Hello there, my name is Jonathan and this is my dragon Elusive and my best friend Brianna, what’s your?”

“Fluttershy,’ she said in a timid voice.

“Fluttershy, what a lovely name, it fits you perfect,” she started to blush after my comment on her.

“The singing of the birds are very lovely too keep up with the good work for the celebration,” her cheeks grew a darker red.

"Well," Twilight cut in, "it looks like  your birds are back, so I guess everything's in order. Keep up the good work!" Fluttershy's only response was another whimper; she may have been okay with me, but it seemed that she still needed to get used to Twilight, "Ooookay." Twilight said awkwardly and began trotting off back to Spike.

“Well see you at the celebration,” I smiled at her and she smiled. “Let’s go Bri,”

“Okay,” Bri responded and we both with my dragon trotted over to the bus h with Twilight.

"Well, that was quick." Twilight said as Spike walked up to her.

"A baby dragon!" Fluttershy suddenly exclaimed, rushing forward in front of Spike and sending Twilight flying. "I've never seen a baby dragon before! He's so cute!"

“Hold up here why am I not acknowledged, am I not that cute,” Elusive said in a sad tone. I ultimately slapped Elusive’s forehead.

"Well, well, well!" Spike said cheekily at Twilight, folding his arms to give him a sense of importance.

"Oh my," Fluttershy said, "he talks! I didn't know dragons could talk! That's just so incredibly wonderful, I just don't even know what to say!" She began hovering in the air in delight.

Suddenly, Spike suddenly floated above her and onto her Twilight's lap. "Well, in that case we'd better be going!" she said, obviously wanting to get away as soon as possible.

"Wait! Wait!" Fluttershy began following us closely, "What's his name?"

"I'm Spike!" Spike replied.

"Hi Spike, I'm Fluttershy. Wow, a talking dragon. And what do dragons talk about?"

"What do you want to know?"

"Everything."

Upon hearing this Twilight could only groan.

"Well," Spike began, "I started out as a cute little purple and green egg..."

By the time we arrived at the library, the sun was beginning to set, and Spike was still telling Fluttershy his life story to every last detail.

"And that's the story of my whole entire life!" Spike concluded, "Well, up until today!”

“Hey Fluttershy, wanna hear about hear about me,” Elusive said.

“No thanks,” Fluttershy said, which made him jealous and angry too.

“Well, do you want to hear about today?" Spike continued.

"Oh, yes please!" Fluttershy said sweetly. Suddenly, Twilight zoomed around to face her.

"I'm so sorry," she said, "how did we get here so fast? This is where I'm staying while in Ponyville, and my poor baby dragon needs his sleep!"

"No I don't!" Spike protested, but Twilight just kicked off her back sending him to the ground. Wow, that was a bit harsh.

"Aw, wook at that!" Twilight baby talked at him, "He's so sweepy he can't even keep his widdle bawance!"

"Poor thing." Fluttershy said, suddenly scooping Spike up into her hooves, "You simply must put him to bed!". She opened the door to the library and flew inside. Twilight suddenly dashed inside after her, pushing Fluttershy out of the door.

"Yes, yes." she said, "We'll get right on that. Well goodnight!". Brianna, Elusive, and I walked inside the library and Twilight slammed the door shut, leaving Fluttershy outside.

"Huh," Spike grunted, "rude much?"

"Sorry Spike," Twilight apologized, "but I have to convince the Princess that Nightmare Moon is coming and we're running out of time! I just

need to be alone so I can study without a bunch of crazy ponies trying to make friends all the time! Now where's the light?"

“Um what is she stalking about?” Brianna said confused.

I stated that I don’t really know what she’s talking about too.

As if on cue, the light suddenly switched on, "SURPRISE!" yelled an enormous crowd of ponies that surrounded the three of us. The resulting shock nearly gave me a heart attack!

"Surprise!" a pink mare yelled out in front of us. Why did she look so familiar? Suddenly, it clicked in my mind. She was the strange one we ran into when we first landed in Ponyville!

"I'm Pinkie Pie and that over there is Sandra and we threw this party just for you three! Were you surprised? Were ya? Were ya? Huh-huh-huh?"

"Very surprised!" Twilight exclaimed.

“Sandra?” Brianna and I said in unison.

“Jonathan, Brianna, is that you?” She ran over to the two of us and we started hugging each other. Again, we the twinkling stars in our

cutiemark started glowing and this time it’s even brighter than before, well because it was just me and Brianna, but now it was with all three of us together and again we were floating. We had to stop before ponies started looking at us. However, it was too late because everyone was staring at us, even the five ponies we met stared at us.

“How could you do that darlings,” Rarity asked in shock.

“Yeah how,” Fluttershy asked too.

We stopped the hugging and we just shrugged it out because we don’t know.

"Well, libraries are supposed to be quiet!" Twilight continued.

"Oh that's silly!" Pinkie declared, "What kind of welcome party would this be if it were quiet? I mean, duh, bo-ring. You see, I saw you when you first got here, remember? You were all, hello, and I was all," she gasped dramatically, "remember? You see I never saw you before, and if I never saw you before that means you're new, 'cause I know every pony, and I mean every pony in Ponyville, and if you're new, then it meant you haven't met anyone yet," she continued to blabber on as Twilight began pouring herself a drink, "and if you haven't met anyone yet, you must not have any friends, and if you don't have any friends then you must be lonely, and that made me so sad, and I had an idea, and that's why I went," she gasped dramatically again, "'I'll just throw a great big ginormous super-duper spectacular welcome party and invite everyone in Ponyville'. See? And now you have lots and lots of friends!" As she said all this, Twilight began drinking her drink and Pinkie was surrounded by the five other mares Twilight and I had met today.

Twilight eyes widened, and she turned around to face us. Her cheeks were burning red, and her eyes were watering. "Are you alright sugercube?" AJ asked with concern. Steam suddenly came out of Twilights ears, her mane caught fire, and she suddenly rushed up the stairs.

"Aw," Pinkie cooed, "she's so happy she's crying!" as Twilight ran up the stairs, I glanced at the bottle Twilight had poured her drink from.

"Hot sauce." I read from the label. Suddenly, Pinkie grabbed the bottle with her hooves and poured the contents onto a cupcake, which she proceeded to eat.

It had been quite a while since the party went underway, and to be honest, I wasn't enjoying it one bit. I hated parties. They were too loud, too many things went on at once, and the party host was as annoying as hell in this particular case! It was official, I didn't like Pinkie. She was annoying, naive, and extremely simple minded. That's why me, Brianna, and Sandra decided to ditch the party and go upstairs to check on Twilight.

I knocked on the door politely, "What is it?" I heard Twilight's irritated voice ask. I opened the door and found her lying on her bed.

"Hey," I said softly, "you okay?"

"No!" she snapped back at me.

“Why?” Sandra asked.

"Because all the ponies in this town are CRAZY! Do you know what time it is?!"

"Apparently, we're all trying to stay up till midnight so we can see the Princess raise the sun." I answered. To be honest, the idea that she could raise the Sun made no sense to me. Like any other human, I was taught about how the Earth spun on its axis and all that, you know what I mean. I really wanted to ask how this worked, but I didn't think Twilight was in the mood to answer. Besides, she probably wouldn't know anyway.

Twilight lay on her back, "Here I thought I'd have time to learn more about the Elements of Harmony, but silly me! All this ridiculous friend making has kept me from it!" she said sarcastically, turning around to face the window.

"I do, well we do have a question, what are the ‘Elements of Harmony’?" I asked her while gesturing to my friends.

"Oh they're nothing major," she said, her voice still coated with sarcasm, "just the very things needed to stop Equestria from eternal night!"

“Please,” me Brianna, and Sandra said in unison.

“Fine,” Twilight sighed and began telling the story.

Brianna, Sandra, and I were sitting in Twilight’s bed getting ready to hear the story about the “Elements of Harmony”.

"1000 years ago, Equestria was ruled two regal sisters who brought peace and harmony to all the land." Twilight said, snapping me out of my train of thought. "The eldest would raised the sun and bring forth the day, while the younger sister raised the moon and ushered in the night. Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their kingdom and their subjects. But as time went on, the younger sister grew resentful. While ponies relished and played through the day her elder sister brought forth, they shunned and slept through her beautiful night.". Okay, I could see where this was going, "Then one fateful day, the younger sister refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn. The elder sister tried to reason with her, but the bitterness in the young ones heart had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon! She vowed to shroud the land in eternal night. Reluctantly, the elder sister harnessed the most powerful magic know to ponydom: The Elements of Harmony! Using the magic of the Elements of Harmony, she defeated her younger sister and banished her permanently in the moon. However, in case Nightmare Moon returned on the 1000th year, she created three newly elements that would help the enemy reform themselves. The elder sister took on responsibility, for both sun and moon, and harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since."

“Wow,” Sandra said.

“I can’t believe what I just heard,” Brianna said.

“Same, but wait, there are NINE elements now because I thought there were six elements only.” I asked

“I thought so too, but the two of the three elements are in existence but that one element is known of Equestria,” Twilight answer.

I was wondering who the other three element barriers belong to. So I had to ask if she was coming back again and she said yes and warned us about the villain so much.

“So what should we do,” Sandra asked.

But until Twilight or me answered her question, Spike and Elusive barged on in saying…

"Come on, you guys!" a voice cried out, snapping us from asking the question. Looking over to its source, I saw Spike and Elusive standing through the door. "It's time to watch the sun rise!" Elusive said.

“Come on you guys lets get ready to celebrate,” I said.

“Alright,’ Sandra excitedly jumped off the bed.

“Wait for me,” Brianna ran to Sandra, but Twilight was just looking at the moon and I was right next to her and looked at the moon in shock of how beautiful it looks. “Come on Twilight let’s go,” I said.

“Okay,” she said. We walked off to town hall for the Summer Sun Celebration. Twilight was still worried and thought that the Princess is right and it’s a mare’s tale. Me and best friends were also worried too about the Nightmare Moon and if she is real or not.

Everypony was gathered in the town hall. They all seemed excited, but to be honest, I was on the edge. Standing next to me, Sandra, and Elusive was Twilight, who had Spike mounted on her back and on the other side of Twilight was Brianna. She was over there because we consider Twilight as our best friends now. The thought of the return of Nightmare Moon really had me on the edge. Wow, is it hot in here?

"Isn't this exciting?" an energetic voice asked out of nowhere. Pinkie Pie had suddenly appeared next to Twilight and was speaking mile a minute. "Are you excited? Because I'm excited! I've never been so excited! Well, except for the time that I saw you walking into town and I went" she gasped dramatically for the third time today, "But I mean really, who can top that?"

“Yeah it was awesome,” Sandra stated.

Brianna had to quiet both Sandra and Pinkie, “Shhhhh, the celebration is about to start.”

The sound of conducted bird song filled the hall. I looked up and saw Fluttershy conducting her birds to sing. A spotlight shone down over a middle aged mare with a grey mane wearing a pair of glasses with a golden rim.

"Fillies and Gentlecolts," she annouced, "as the Mayor of Ponyville, it is my great pleasure to announce the beginning of the Summer Sun Celebration!"

Everypony in the room cheered in delight. If only they knew...

"In just a few moments," the mayor continued, "our town will witness the magic of the sunrise, and celebrate this, the longest day of the year! And now, it is my great honour to introduce to you the ruler of our land; the very pony who gives the moon each and every day, to good, the wise, the bringer of harmony to all of Equestria: Princess Celestia!"

With those words, the curtains on the top balcony opened up to reveal... nothing. Everypony started chattering in confusion at this unperceived event.

"This can't be good." Twilight said. I couldn't help but agree with her, something was definitely up.

"Remain calm everypony," the mayor declared, yet her voice seemed to falter, "there must be a reasonable explanation..."

"Ooh! Ooh!" Pinkie interrupted, "I love guessing games! Is she hiding?"

Rarity walked up onto the balcony. She must have been the one to open the curtians.

"She's gone!" She exclaimed. Everypony in the room gasped in horror.

"Ooh, she's good!" Pinkie said. She looked up the balcony, and suddenly screamed in shock. Looking up I saw a black starry mist begin to form

out of nowhere.

"Oh no!" Twilight whispered. The mist suddenly departed, revealing the most menacing looking pony I had ever seen.

"Nightmare Moon!" Twilight exclaimed as Spike fainted, fell off her lap, and Elusive catches him.

“Thanks,” Spike thanked. “You’re welcome,” Elusive welcomed him.

Me, Brianna, and Sandra were nervous and started looking at each other in a nervous face.

Nightmare Moon had a jet black coat, her eyes were completely blue and her pupils were cat like slits. She wore a set of blue armour around her body, and her mane was the same as the starry blue mist she appeared from. Heck was it even her mane? What really caught my attention was the fact that she had both wings and a horn, which I hadn't seen on any other pony I'd seen. Overall, she was a truly intimidating figure to behold.

"Ah, my beloved subjects!" she declared, looking down on the ponies below her, "It's been so long since I've seen your precious little sun loving faces!"

"What did you do to our Princess!?" I heard Rainbow Dash demand. She took flight, but was stopped by AJ holding on to her by the tail... with her mouth for that matter.

"Whoa there nelly!" she said as she struggled against Rainbow, who was trying to free herself from AJ's grip.

Nightmare Moon just chuckled darkly, "Why? Am I not royal enough for you? Don't you know who I am?" she demanded.

"Ooh! ooh! More guessing games!" Pinkie cried out, "Uh... Hokey Smokes! How about... Queen Meanie! No... Black Snooty! Black Snooty...!". Before she could continue endangering her chances of survival, AJ quickly shoved an apple in her mouth. That girl was never going to see the big picture was she?

"Does my crown no longer count now that I've been imprisoned for 1000 years" Nightmare Moon demanded at Flutterhsy, causing her birds to scatter. "Did you not recall the legend?" She turned to Rarity, "Did you not see the signs?"

"I did!" Twilight shouted boldly, "And I know who you are! You're the Mare in the Moon, Nightmare Moon!" Everypony gasped in horror at the revelation.

"Well, well, well." Nightmare Moon said, a hint of amusement evident in her voice, "Somepony who remembers me! And what's this?" she asked, turning her gaze directly at me, "Three humans and a dog!"

We froze in shock, maybe even horror. She knew what I really was?! But how?! It's impossible! This couldn't be right!

"I know what you are! Even in the body of a pony, I can easily see that you are not what you appear to be!"

“And so do I,” Twilight stated, “He’s been telling the truth not me, but everyone in Ponyville.”

“That’s right,” AJ stated

Everyone else nodded in agreement.

"Let me ask you, the both of you." Nightmare Moon said, now sharing her gaze with Twilight, "Do you know why I am here?"

"You're here too... too..." Twilight faltered, too scared to finish her sentence

"Remember this day little ponies," Nightmare Moon chuckled, "for it was your last. From this moment forth, the night... will last... forever!"

With those words, she laughed. Twilight, Brianna, Sandra, and I could only stand in horror at the terrifying marvel. I knew we had to stop her, but how...?
