//-------------------------------------------------------// Heart gain, heart pain -by Xenay- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Twilight carefully laid her down, knowing fully well that something had to be wrong if the colorful Pegasus was simply falling from the sky. "Can you hear me?" Dash looked her in the eyes and nodded. "What happened? Are you okey?" Twilight asked concerned. She laid next to her, nuzzling her on the cheek. "I don't know.." Dash answered slowly, still not fully there yet. Her eyes wandered down to her chest, as if to see if there was a sharp object sticking in it. But there was no wound there. She didn't know if she should be relieved, or more worried about that fact. The pain was almost completely gone now, so Dash tried to stand up. She felt a bit weak and dizzy, though she would never admit that. What she wasn't prepared for was that the pain would return at an alarm fast and awfully painful rate, making her groan in pain and collapse, her hooves pressing against her chest where her heart was, desperately trying to ease the pain so she could breathe again.. "Rainbow!" Twilight shrieked. "Help...." Dash chocked out, her eyes shut with tears of pain slowing down. Twilight didn't waste another second and teleported herself and Dash into the hospital. "Help! Please! Some pony help!" Twilight called once they were there. She already had lots of attention from just teleporting, but her screaming got nurses and doctors to notice. "What happened?" One doctor asked as nurses brought Dash on a stretcher. "I.. I don't know.. We were just.. And she.. And then..." "Okey, easy there. You should sit down for a bit, you're going into shock." Twilight couldn't make out much of it, but followed the doctor to the waiting room where he sat her on a chair and got her a drink. "I'll have a nurse bear with you in a second. I'll see if they need my help on your friend." He said in a calm voice and only left when Twilight nodded. A bit after he was gone she whispered "not friend.. marefriend..." to.. actually no one in particular. All she saw were the last few moments where Dash simply fainted from seemingly agonizing pain. But the worst was that there was nothing she could do about it. But the even worse thing was that the doctors couldn't find anything wrong with Rainbow Dash. Note: Okey, I don't know how many stories I'm gonna make in the future about my life, but here is one of them again. It started when I was walking my dog, like every other day. And I didn't do anything. I didn't run, I didn't jump, I didn't.. whatever could cause it. And all of the sudden I had this nearly unbearable pain in my chest, I thought I was going to die (though thanks to my depression I don't see it as a very bad thing, and in that moment I really wished that something would just make it stop) and I crouched down, almost laid down on the ground. Knowing that if I died out here, it wasn't safe for my dog. So I pulled myself together and walked back home the best I could. When I reached he door to our home I nearly passed out. I seriously could. Not. Fuckin. Breathe. So I opened the door and laid on the floor (lol that rhymed) and soon my mum asked what's going on. That was the worst attack I had. When we went to the doctor, he couldn't find a thing. And I just thought: are you kidding me?! So today my heart is hurting again, and since the attack I had earlier my heart is in a constant pain. Yay. And since I have to go easy for a while, why not write? //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 3 "Nothing wrong. Nothing wrong! Nothing wrong?! What do these Doctor ponies think who they are?!" They were back at the castle and Twilight was pacing around like mad. "Twilight. Calm down." "No pony passes out for no reason!" "Twilight!" "They should go back to school and-" "TWILIGHT!!!!" Twilight finally turned to see Spike staring angrily at her with his arm crossed over his chest. "Uh.. yes.. Spike?" "Look. If they say that there is nothing wrong with her, then there is nothing wrong with her!" "What?! Who's side are you on?!" "Twilight! They studied medicine for years! I think they know what they're doing!" Spike reasoned. Twilight groaned in frustration, turning away from her assistant. "Twi, I'm fine okey?" Dash said from the couch, having watched everything. Twilight turned around. "You too?" "Twi! Maybe it was just some... some.... uh, actually I don't know, but maybe it was just a one time thing!" Dash said in defense, or rather tried to. Twilight walked over to her. "How are you feeling?" She asked in a calm voice. Dash wasn't sure how to answer that. She didn't want Twilight to freak out again, but she was never good at lying. Even though the worst pain was over and she could breathe, there was still a constant pain in her chest that made her feel uneasy. She still didn't dare move too much and too fast in fear of it striking back again. In the end she didn't have to tell Twilight, the alicorn performing a spell to look for herself. She wondered how she didn't think of it earlier, it might have been the shock. Dash stared confused at Twilight when she was finished. Twilight sighed and turned away, walking to a door. "Twi?" "I'm in my library. If you need anything, call Spike." The door closed and both Rainbow and Spike were left confused. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 4 It were only a few minutes, but to Dash it felt like hours since her marefriend seemed to have shattered and left. "What if she's right.." Spike looked up. "What if those doctors didn't really check the way the should?" Spike rolled his eyes. "You already sound like Twilight, and you've only been together for how long?" Dash didn't hear him. "What if.. I'm dying?" Spike gave her a serious look. "Urgh seriously! It was a one time thing, you said so yourself!" "I Thought so! But.. what if Twi is right... what if there really Is something wrong with me?" Spikes hand slapped into his face and they met the table surface. Finally a door opened again. "You really shouldn't be thinking like that. You're worrying too much. That can't be good for you." Twilight said as she trotted over to Dash. "I think you need to relax. And I know just the thing! Spike always loves his eight hour bubble baths." Spike smiled at the thought. "Nothing is more relaxing.." Rainbow on the other hand/hoof was not so sure about it. If she hated anything, it was water. But she didn't have time to argue when Twilight levitated her into the bathroom. Dash sat on a fluffy carpet on the floor while Twilight was filling the bathtub with hot water. Just the sound of water rushing made her feel uneasy again, she could feel her heart beating faster again. Each beat making her feel dizzy. For the first time in her life, she realized that there was a bad side to adrenaline. "Okey Dash. Time to relax." Twilight levitated her into the bathtub. The mere sight of the water coming nearer made it all worse. Then she touched it and before she knew it she laid in it, soaking her body. But that wasn't what she minded the worst. The stabbing pain in her heart had returned and she just wanted to get out as fast and soon as possible. She tried to climb out, the pain paralyzing her. She had to hold on to the wall of the tub. And of course Twilight caught on again, performing the spell from earlier. She yelped in surprise, the spell making her feel what the one the spell was casted on was feeling. She cancelled the spell and levitated the Pegasus out again. By the time she was out again, Dash was desperately trying to breathe. Twilight had to watch. There was nothing she could do to help. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 Twilight was standing on a wide field. Rainbow had asked her to meet her there for their first date, but she couldn't see the Pegasus anywhere. Not yet. But soon enough there was an explosion in the sky above her and when she looked up she gasped in awe at what she saw. A rainbow colored heart was slowly fading in the sky. Rainbow Dash was standing on a cloud high up in the sky. She could see the whole field from up there. Then she finally spotted her newly called marefriend. "Okey, here goes nothing." She took one last deep breath and jumped into action. Flapping her wings to gain more speed. She could feel the barrier building up around her. And also a stabbing pain in her chest building up. She ignored it though, since Twilight was the highest priority right now. It was their first date. She wanted it to be perfect. "Just a bit mooooore... ..aaaaaaannnnddd...." BOOOOOM She twisted, pulling her wings up to create a heart-shape. Looking back she was almost happy with the result. Almost. Because she couldn't see it very long before her vision went black. Trying not to panic she tried to breathe in calm, deep breaths, which made the pain in her chest even worse. Something was wrong. She had to land. Which was easier said than done. She didn't know where the ground was. It was downwards, yes. But how far up was she? It didn't matter so much anymore, though, as she felt her body growing numb. She felt herself falling for a short moment before she was caught. She didn't exactly know from who, or where she was, but she couldn't really bother with it. After being carried to the ground and the pain almost gone, she could see the ground coming slowly nearer. "You okey, Dash?" Twilights voice asked. Dash didn't answer. She was busy trying to figure out what happened, how it happened, and most importantly Why did it have to happen right now?!
