Chapters Equestrian Flight 2013 Is Down
It was a beautiful day at Baltimare International Airport. Billions of planes take off and land every minute. Inside the airport, billions of people walk back and forth to terminals. At gate D16, one of Equestrian Airlines' gates, there was a Canadian woman sitting at the lounge with a suitcase. She is 41 years old. Her name: Rebecca Shoichet. She gave a sigh of relief.
"The convention's over, I can finally fly home," Shoichet thought to herself. She had a good time at BronyCon that she wants to go home. There she is now, at an airport gate for her flight home to Vanhoover. Then an announcement is heard over the PA.
"Ladies and gentlemen, Flight 2013 to Vanhoover is now boarding ," said the announcement.
"Finally," Shoichet said. She grabbed her stuff and walked to the doors leading to the plane. She showed her plane ticket to the ticket agent, and went through the doors.
Outside on the tarmac was a Boeing 777-200. The words on the sides read "equestrian", while the picture on the tail looked like indigo-violet pegasus wings. In the plane's cockpit, Captain Chandelier "Sully" Sullenshimmer and First Officer Zephyr Skittles were going over the checklist.
"VOR instruments, check," said Captain Sully as he checked off in his clipboard.
"I think that's all in the checklist," said First Officer Skittles.
At the plane door, Rebecca Shoichet entered the plane and gets greeted by the flight attendant.
"Hi. Welcome aboard," said the stewardess. The voice actress then looks for her seat.
"Where are you, seat J34," said Shoichet to herself. Then she found her seat. She sat down and took out her phone. She dialed Vincent Tong's number.
"Hello," said Tong on the other end of the line. "How are you doing, Rebecca?" he asked.
"Great, Mr. Tong, well, are you excited for Flash Sentry in Legend Of Everfree?" Shoichet asked.
"Totally exciting!" he said. "I'll see you in Vanhoover," Tong said as he hung up.
Then Shoichet's phone rang. This time, it's Kelly Sheridan. Shoichet hit ignore and gave a sight of relief. Then an announcement came over the plane's intercom.
"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Sully Sullenshimmer. I will be your captain of this flight today. And this here is First Officer Zephyr Skittles. The weather in Vanhoover is perfect and sunny, and the flight will take about 5 hours. The flight attendants will show you a flight safety video while we push back from the gate and taxi. I recommend that if you are a frequent flyer, or a first time traveler, I suggest that you put your magazines and newspapers down, and listen carefully ," Captain Sullenshimmer explained.
Outside, the jet bridge connecting the plane to the airport separates. Then a special tractor pushes the plane back. 4 minutes later, the plane begins to taxi. Meanwhile, in the cockpit, Sullenshimmer contacts ATC.
"Baltimare Tower, this is Equestrian 2013, are we cleared to taxi?" Sullenshimmer said.
A controller in ATC replied. "Yes, Equestrian 2013, you are cleared to taxi to Runway 15R ."
"Well, that was quick," said Sullenshimmer. "Today is going to be a great flight," he added.
"Yeah, I know," said First Officer Skittles as he chuckled.
In the cabin at seat J34, Shoichet was watching the flight video.
"Inflatable life vests, inflatable life vests, inflatable life vests, inflatable life vests ," the words echoed in Rebecca's mind. The words remind her of the time she was at BronyCon. She would do autographs of Sunset Shimmer dolls, plushies, and pictures, and even a giant inflatable raft that looks like Sunset's cutie mark that was given to her as a gift to take home. The raft is now in the cargo bay, waiting for the 5 hour flight to be completed. Shoichet sighed. In 5 hours, it's going back to singing for Twilight, and voicing Sunset.
The plane reaches the runway. Sullenshimmer calls ATC.
"Baltimare Tower, this is Equestrian 2013, we have reached the runway," said Sullenshimmer.
"Equestrian 2013, there is a Tartarian Air Boeing 747SP landing. You will have to wait ," said the controller.
"Wow, I hope that 747 doesn't have Lord Tirek," First Officer Skittles joked.
"I hope not," said Sully, replying to the joke.
Once the 747SP landed and cleared the runway, Sullenshimmer gets another call from ATC.
"Equestrian 2013, the 747SP has cleared the way. Equestrian 2013, you are cleared for takeoff ," said the controller.
"Well, are you thinking what I'm thinking, Skittles?" Sullenshimmer told him as he put his right hand on the throttle lever.
"Yeah, Sully?" Skittles replied as he put his left hand on the throttle lever.
"Let's get this big guy in the air," said Sullenshimmer.
"Yeah," said Skittles. The two pilots pushed the throttle all the way up.
Outside, the plane starts slowly, then faster...and faster...more faster....and faster than "My Past Is Not Today", and faster than a police chase.
In seat J34, Rebecca Shoichet sees outside her window as airport buildings sped by like Sunset Shimmer's motocross bike. Even planes on the taxiways did the same.
Back in the cockpit, the pilots pull the yoke. Then the plane's nose started to rise up like a phoenix burning bright on the runway. Then the main landing gear goes off the ground like if they were pegasus hooves.
Equestrian Flight 2013 has taken off into the daylight.
21 minutes later, the 777 reached cruising altitude. Sullenshimmer makes an announcement to the passengers.
"Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have reached cruising altitude and now the seatbelt sign will be turned off. The flight attendants will serve dinner ," said Sullenshimmer.
1 hour 30 minutes later, the flight attendants served dinner. Rebecca ordered lobster bisque with a Coke and chocalate mousse. She started enjoying her lunch.
"Wow, this must be the best lunch I've ever ate," she said. Then a cowboy came up to her.
"Hello, there," said the cowboy. "Want some Jalepeno Peppers? They are the best ones to grow in the country," he said.
"Sure," said Rebecca. And the cowboy gave her two peppers which he grew on his farm.
Rebecca was about to make her lobster spicier when....

Well, that was a great idea for me to have made this fanfic. Yes, because Legend of Everfree is coming up, I want this fanfic to be like "The Hudson Miracle into a camp full of teenagers that are like ponies."

U.S Airways Flight 1549- The Equestrian Airlines pilots' names are similar to the pilots of Flight 1549, which landed in water shortly after takeoff in 2009. But Flight 2013's version will happen a couple hours later.
2013- The flight number references the first Equestria Girls movie, which was released in the year 2013.

Camp Everfree / Water Landing
Meanwhile, at Camp Everfree, Twilight Sparkle was relieved that Gaia Everfree was defeated a few days earlier. Sunset Shimmer came up to her.
"Twilight, been a few days since we defeated Gaia Everfree, huh?" said Sunset.
"Yeah, it has," said Twilight. She knows Gaia was responsible for causing her bed to levitate and infecting her friends with her dark magic. But now that the forest goddess was defeated, the camp was at peace.
"Sunset, do you want to hang out with me at the lake?" Twilight asked Sunset.
"Sure, Twilight," said Sunset.
They walked to the lake. There, some kids are rowing on boats while others are eating lunch at the picnic tables. And some are just standing around, chit chatting and stuff.
"Wow, just look at all the people having fun," said Sunset. Then she had a flashback of what happened a few days ago.
(Flashback)
Sunset and Twilight were in their tent. They were talking about the scary legend told by Timber Spruce.
"Wow, that was a scary story," Twilight said.
"It sure is. Maybe some sleep will make us better," said Sunset. Soon, the two snuggled into their beds and went to sleep.
8 hours later, Sunset was the first to be awake. Then Twilight woke up too. Then Sunset noticed something was wrong. Twilight's bed was floating in the air!
"Uh, Twilight?" asked Sunset.
Twilight noticed her bed floating and screamed. "YEAOWWWWWWW....
(End flashback)
Twilight's scream in Sunset's flashback begins to turn into sounds of jet engines approaching in reality.
"Uh, Sunset, are you alright?" asked Twilight.
"Are you hearing what I'm hearing?" replied Sunset.
"Uhh, yeah," said Twilight. The jet noise begins to get louder and louder than Gaia Everfree's scream of defeat.
"I don't think it's Gaia Everfree. IT'S A PLANE THAT'S ABOUT TO CRASH HERE!" yelled Spike.
Sunset then turned to the lake and saw what happened. Kids were running in panic. Equestrian Flight 2013 flew very low above the lake.
On board Equestrian Flight 2013...
"PREPARE FOR IMPACT!" said Captain Sully.
Rebecca Shoichet braced herself for impact.
The plane then unexpectedly banked left ten degrees. The left wingtip touched the lake first. The the left engine went into the lake and struck a big, strong rock, severing the left wing in the process. Then the nose of the plane hit the lake, causing the 777 to cartwheel through the lake like runaway hay as the tail, horizontal stabilisers, tail cone, and right wing break off. Luckily, the damaged fuselage corrected itself and came to a complete stop without any explosions.
Equestrian Flight 2013 has crashed.

Sunset Saves Her Voice (Seriously?) / Submersion
Sunset Shimmer stood in shock as she saw the Boeing 777 break up into pieces. Twilight came up to her.
"Sunset, what's wrong?" asked Twilight.
"I must go help them!" she cried out. "Those people are in danger! What if the plane explodes?" Sunset added worriedly.
"You're right," said Twilight. "I'll help you with the people," she added.
"Gloriosa!" Twilight called. Gloriosa Daisy came over in an instant.
"What is it, Twilight?" she asked.
"Can you watch Spike while Sunset and I go help the plane?" Twilight asked.
"Sure," Gloriosa said.
"Be careful with that plane. There might be jet fuel leaking," said Spike with concern.
"Don't worry, Spike. Everything is gonna be okay," said Twilight. Then the two girls set of for the lakeshore.
"Sunset, why are we taking our shoes off?" asked Twilight.
"Because we're swimming to the wreck. If we take any of the camp boats, that will get the passengers in danger. The camp boats are made of wood and could get soaked with jet fuel, which if the plane explodes, the flames could consume the boats," Sunset explained. Then when Twilight finished taking hers off, they dove into the water.
Onboard the wrecked Boeing 777, there were babies crying and their mothers holding them, flight attendants shouting out instructions, and people trapped as a result of the crash. The area where the tailcone separated exposes the cabin to the lake, which means fishermen can see inside the plane.
10 minutes later, Sunset and Twilight made it to the wreck.
"Wow, the plane is a total mess,". said Sunset.
"Yeah, totally," said Twilight. Then a wing flap from one of the plane's wings floated besides them. This gave Sunset an idea.
Onboard the plane, Rebecca Shoichet tried to move, but the impact of the wings tearing away and the fuselage bobbing around the lake like a floting cork has left her trapped in her seat.
"HELP! I CAN'T MOVE!" she shouts in pain. Water was seeping into the cabin slowly. Outside, Sunset and Twilight climbed into the hole exposing the cabin. Wet socks were itching their feet, so they had to take them off.
"Sunset, why are we in the plane?" asked Twilight.
"Rescuing passengers is our priority," said Sunset. Then she heard a cry for help. The cries came from a 41 year old Canadian woman. She followed the cries to seat J34. There was the woman trapped.
"Are you okay, ma'am?" Sunset asked the woman.
"Sunset Shimmer, is that you?" the woman asked.
"Wow," Sunset Shimmer asked herself. "What in Celestia did this woman know my name? But anyway, I have to save her. She may be the key to myself."
Sunset unbuckled the woman's seatbelt, then lifts her by her waist. The woman was free. But the trouble is not over.
"Water is coming in, we have to get out fast," said Twilight. The three get to the front of the plane, but unfortunately, all the passengers got out first. Then they tried the wing exits, but the torn wings could injure them. So they went to the cargo bay. They got the woman's raft.
"Okay, when I count to three, Sunset, I want you to open the cargo door," the woman said.
"1" Sunset unlocked the cargo door latch.
"2" Twilight got into the raft with the woman.
"3" Sunset opened the cargo door, pushed the raft out to the lake, and jumped into the water. Sunset acted as the raft propellers. Meanwhile, the 777's nose section begins to rise up, then the fuselage completely submerges into the lake.
The aircraft was gone.

I know what being a hero means. An airliner crashed. But saving those passengers was the magic of friendship. And it will be. Friendship is really the hero if you help.

Sunset closed her book, then sighed.
"First, I was a monster, but really became a hero to everyone when that plane crashed," she thought. "I wonder how's Adagio doing."
Up in the sky, a voice can be heard.
"Well, Sunset, ready for revenge?" the voice said to itself. "Because I'm about to seek it."
The voice then laughed evilly with two other voices.

Mayday Over The Everfree Forest
Rebecca Shoichet was about to make her lobster spicier when....
"BOOOOOM!
The plane was shaking violently. The autopilot disengaged by itself. At the controls, Sullenshimmer and Skittles were trying their best to regain control of the aircraft.
"SHE'S GETTING ROUGHER!" Sullenshimmer exclaimed as he struggles to make the aircraft stable. He calls Everfree Center.

Meanwhile, at the Everfree Center Tower near the Everfree Forest, a young 18 year old was using his binoculars to see planes flying overhead on their correct headings to their destinations. His name was Derek Brony Jr. His dad, Derek Brony Sr., flies a Boeing 747-200 that carries his favorite band, the Rainbooms.
"Wow, dad flies my most favorite member of the Rainbooms, Sunset Shimmer," said Junior. "But he's training new 747 pilots for their future today," he added. Then the Bronies' family German Shepherd, Sloppy Joe came out of the computer control room barking in distress.
"What is it, boy?" replied Junior. The dog ran back into the computer control room. Derek followed SJ to the radar computer that had the "MAYDAY" message.
"Good job, SJ," said Junior, before turning to the computer and putting on his headset.

Sullenshimmer and Skittles were desperately trying to regain control of the Boeing 777, which had started an inverted dive.
In seat J34, Rebecca Shoichet was covering her face since the turbulence drove the lobster insane and pinched her in the nose and forehead. People were being tossed around the large interior of the 777 like pony plushies in BronyCon. People being knocked out by food trolleys rolling up and down, end to end of the plane. Some parents hugged their children for what could be their final moments. Even a teenager had to eat his whole king sized box of Oreos and drink a Coke before the impact gets imminent.
Sullenshimmer and Skittles managed to get the plane stable until...
Wheeeeeeeeeessssssssh! There was the left engine shutting down.
"FIRE IN THE LEFT ENGINE!" Sullenshimmer cried out. He pulled the left engine fire handle. But the extinguisher didn't work on the left engine.
"OH MY GOSH!" yelled Skittles. Then there was another....
Wheeeeeeesssssshhhhhhhh!
"WE LOST THE RIGHT ENGINE AND ALL POWER!" cried Sullenshimmer as the right engine shuts down and all the instruments went blank.
The plane had hit birds and is now becoming a glider of doom. Rebecca prayed and prayed that everything is going to be okay. If Flight 2013 doesn't find a safe place to land soon, everybody is going to be red salami all over the Everfree Forest.

Medals From The Airline/ Cause Of Crash Revealed
The three ladies soon surfaced on the lake. Sunset was gasping for air, as so does Rebecca. Twilight and the woman got into the raft, and Sunset used her legs to push the raft towards shore.
When they got to shore, they were met with cheering from the campers and passengers.
"Wow, Sunset, you did it!" exclaimed Flash Sentry.
Soon, vehicles from the Everfree Sheriff, the Canterlot Police and Fire Department, and the Equestrian Aviation Commission arrived at the scene.
"Hurry, find that black box!" said an EAC agent, as he backed up to the lake. From the back of the EAC armored truck burst out a jet ski with EAC on its sides.
When the EAC agents aren't looking, Twilight used her magic to levitate the fuselage back to the surface. Water drained from the exits.
A week later, at City Hall, the head of the airline, the Secretary Of The Aviation Commission, Mayor Mare, the staff and students of Canterlot High, the governor, and the passengers were there. Even Rebecca.
"I would love to say, that on June 24, 2014, an event has happened that would change our lives forever," said The Secretary. "Our investigation revealed that there was a snapped hydraulic line on the plane, which triggered the crash landing. But thanks to the efforts of Captain Sully Sullenshimmer, First Officer Zephyr Skittles, Sunset Shimmer, and Twilight Sparkle, everyone was safe. Let's give them a round of applause."
The four heroes walked on the stage. They were greeted with applause.
"Yes, Mrs. Shoichet?" asked Sunset.
"Sunset, I know that I am your voice," said Rebecca. "But meeting you was good. Can we be friends?"
"Sure," Sunset said. And the duo became friends.
