A summer's sun radiated up high, basking the world below with its warm embrace and life providing light. Numerous clouds drifted lazily through the sky and offered brief respites to those who needed it, and a pleasant breeze rolled through the town of Ponyville, offering a refreshing air to its inhabitants.
It was surely an idyllic summer's day for anyone who enjoyed the outdoors and all of the pleasant joys it held, and nearly all of the town's populace were outside traveling hither and thither towards their destinations, all with smiles on their cheery faces.
Neighbors idly chatted with one another, the market place buzzed with ambient sounds of haggling and merchants peddling their wares, and children screamed with delight as they chased each other or played similar games in the parks.
Yes, the town practically glowed with the peace and harmony that came with small town living, where everyone knew everyone, and everybody was friends with everybody. It was peaceful, it was tranquil, and it was... perfect.
But, it all came to a shattering halt when a deep and thunderous voice bellowed from the heavens above.
"FIGHT!"
And in that moment every single inhabitant of Ponyville stood unnaturally still and grew an unnatural dark sheen in their eyes.
Neighbors tore into one another, the marketplace was turned into a slaughter house and the joyous screaming of the children were replaced with the hysterical battle cries of hatred and bloodlust. The concepts of love and friendship were the first casualties in the all consuming brawl that ensnared Ponyville, and familial attachments were tossed in the wind as ponies threw themselves at each other with reckless abandon.
All throughout Ponyville, forelegs, hind legs, teeth and everything in between were used with lethal proficiency and a fluidity that only master martial artists could achieve. It was during one such scuffle in the marketplace that showed just how brutal these ponies could really be.
Two life long friends, Lyra Heartstrings and Bon Bon, aka Sweetie Drops, had been the closest to each other when the malevolent voice first issued the order and both were trading blows with one another while standing on their hind legs, much like everyone else in Ponyville.
Receiving a strong kick to her chest, Lyra stumbled backwards until she collided with a merchant stand. Grunting in aggravation, she bared her teeth like a rabid dog before charging at Bon Bon. When the two met, Lyra swiftly dodged under a jab and delivered a brutal uppercut to Bon Bon's gut, stunning her. Taking advantage of her weakness, Lyra quickly pulled down at Bon Bon's head and kneed her in the face twice.
On the attempted third strike at her face, Bon Bon quickly caught the knee and extended Lyra's leg fully before delivering a brutal elbow to its side, rendering it useless. Crying out in pain, Lyra dropped to her other knee and tried to defend herself, but it was too late. Taking full advantage over her incapacitated enemy, Bon Bon started to hail her former friend's head with vicious blows. Forcing Lyra's head into all manner of directions, left, right, up and down her head painfully whipped to when Bon Bon's hooves collided with her delicate hide.
When the hail of blows finally stopped, Lyra spat out a mixture of blood and teeth onto the ground before looking back up at her tormentor from her kneed position, waiting for whatever was next. Bon Bon, apparently satisfied with her work, pulled a grappling gun from, out of seemingly, nowhere and proceed to force the hook into Lyra's mouth before pulling the trigger, activating the gas system inside the device and propelling the hook with tremendous force into Lyra's gullet.
Lyra, who was now gurgling in excruciating agony, could do nothing but watch with wide frantic eyes as Bon Bon casually walked backwards. When she reached a distance that felt right, Bon Bon methodically lifted her foreleg that carried the gun and activated the device's reeling system, causing Lyra's unfortunate demise. When the hook inside Lyra's abdomen started its departure, it sickeningly tore at her insides with enough strength to lift a full grown mare up a ten story building, and as the hook left her mouth it brought forth a gruesome trail of internal organs and blood.
Now having everything she needed to live with removed, Lyra painfully moaned while she was forced to watch herself spew from her mouth before finally succumbing to the darkness that surrounded her vision.
Bon Bon looked on with a sense of finality as Lyra's eyes dulled with a lifeless sheen. Just when she was about to locate her next opponent, a disemboweled pegasus plunged onto the mare from high above and caused her to look up, giving a passing battle crazed stallion enough time to pick up a nearby jar of pickles from the merchant stall and brain her in the back of the head.
Oh, yes. Not even the sky above Ponyville was safe from becoming a theater of war for the ponies. Feathered equines fought against their own kind in aerial combat, where speed and precision were the main tools of the trade, and none were faster or more precise than Ponyville's own element of loyalty, Rainbow Dash.
Who just felled another winged sibling of hers.
Having finished watching them plummet to their doom, Rainbow dove downward to engage into yet another fight, but was quickly side swiped in the face by an unseen attacker. Recovering from the vicious sucker punch, Rainbow quickly locked onto her ambusher and was mildly shocked to have discovered that it was actually Fluttershy who surprised her.
Fluttershy herself was now covered in bruises, sporting a black eye and had dried blood surrounding her mouth, though none of the blood was hers.
Snarling like animals, Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash circled each other like the territorial creatures they imitated, both had their pupils dilated to the size of pin pricks and were breathing heavily from a mixture adrenaline and bloodlust.
Bursting with speed, Rainbow rushed towards her fellow element bearer and prepared to strike, hoping to catch her by surprise with her sheer quickness.
Though, it was all for not.
Fluttershy, taking Rainbow's brash nature into account, easily blocked her stunning jab and returned it with a power backflip kick, solidly connecting with Dash’s nose and breaking it.
Now spinning in the air wildly from her failed attack, Rainbow hastily realigned herself and checked her surroundings, frantically searching in all directions.
Only for her to see Fluttershy's hoof connect with her face at the last second, again losing her sense of direction.
Cashing in on Rainbow's impaired senses, Fluttershy continued to hammer her with successive blows that increased in speed and power with each hit. Each time a hoof struck the sky-blue mare it returned bloodier and bloodier, leaving the poor pegasus a battered and bruised mess. But, during her increasingly brutal attacks, Fluttershy miscalculated where she was supposed to send her next strike and unintentionally threw it wide, costing her a few seconds to ready her next hit.
Though in the short time it took Fluttershy to recover, Rainbow Dash, with her unnatural speed, had an eternity to prepare.
Looking threw bleary eyes, Rainbow misdirected the pink maned mare's incoming punch and countered with a series of lightning quick jabs and a knee.
Fluttershy, not expecting such speed from a mare she thought she had on the ropes, lost her breath when those hits collided with her unprepared abdomen. Which caused her to lose her already drastically reduced momentum. Hoping to salvage her degrading situation, Fluttershy foolishly threw an uncoordinated hoof at Rainbow in an effort to keep her at bay.
Rainbow, who now had more than enough time to fully recover her faculties, saw the halfhearted attempt coming a mile away and caught the hoof to counter again. Only this time, she didn't respond with a series of gut strikes, but instead savagely struck the outside of the elbow to the attached hoof inward. Not even giving Fluttershy enough time to scream about her broken foreleg, Rainbow delivered a flurry of vicious kicks that struck at the butter yellow mare's gut, only for them to continue and steadily climb upwards to her head.
When Rainbow finally finished her onslaught of kicks, the only thing Fluttershy could do was idly stare at Rainbow while blood slowly drooled out of her mouth. Having enough of the sight before her, Rainbow swiftly preformed a solid spinning kick, sending Fluttershy soaring towards Ponyville.
Though Rainbow wasn't done with the mare who so foolishly sucker punched the greatest flier in Equestria. Shooting towards the spiraling mare at tremendous speeds, Rainbow caught Fluttershy and dove towards a building with an increasing velocity. Screaming in rage, Rainbow was on the cusp of performing a "Rainboom" when Fluttershy, in an act of defiance, savagely kneed Rainbow in the stomach before elbowing her in the head. Now flipping out of control, the both of them crashed into a building and through multiple floors before being harshly thrown back outside, throwing up dust in their wake.
When Fluttershy came to, she tried picking herself of the ground but quickly discovered that multiple broken bones prevented her from doing so. When she ceased her movements she noticed something out of the corner of her eye, it was Rainbow, and she was limping towards her. As the blue mare drew closer, Fluttershy noticed that Rainbow fared much better than her when she crashed, though it wasn't by all that much. Numerous cuts littered her body and she had a compound fracture in her left hind leg, Fluttershy also noticed that one of mare's wings was bent in an odd angle and that it was hanging limply.
When Rainbow finally arrived at the downed mare, Fluttershy tried to defend herself but could only meekly raise a foreleg in self-defense.
Just as Rainbow lifted her non injured leg to curb stomp Fluttershy's head into a hollow shell, she was suddenly flung to the side when an unconscious pony was harshly thrown into her.
Fluttershy, now safe from immediate danger, looked to where the body came from and subsequently saw even more equine bodies being hurled through the air, each one crashing with bone breaking force. Wondering who her unwitting savior was, she looked at the center of all the chaos and discovered that it was the big red behemoth himself, Big Macintosh.
The red stallion stood tall within a circle of bloodthirsty ponies, his body, scarred with a number of cuts and gashes from the many failed attempts at his life. Letting loose a challenging roar, Big Mac dispatched those who left the circle with ease, delivering single devastating blows to each pony that answered his call.
As the ponies continued flow out of their circle, more and more of the fighters were able to strike at the red monster, though their hits were easily shrugged off by his shear size and strength.
Knocking an unfortunate mare unconsciousness, Big Mac proceeded to grab her by a hind leg ankle and started using the poor mare to beat away the onslaught of bodies charging towards him. As the mare turned weapon flailed about, it sent ponies flying backwards with its weight and speed, severely damaging anyone who had the unfortunate luck to earn its wrath.
As the wave of fighters finally ceased, Big Mac viciously slammed the mare he had in his grasp into the ground before tossing her into a nearby shop window. Roaring once more, Big Mac made to charge into battle again, but just as he took the first step towards his new victims, a soaring trident pierced into his back and erupted out through his ribcage, carrying out his heart when it emerged from his chest.
Spinning around and falling to his knees, Big Mac, in his final moments of life, traced the weapon's trajectory and found that it came from a lone pegasus mare a good distance away from himself.
The mare herself sported a gray coat, yellow mane and a pair of skewed golden amber eyes, she was also remarkably clean of any signs from the savagery that swept throughout Ponyville. And as Big Mac breathed his last, Derpy goofily smiled before returning to the fray around her.
Or more specifically, the giant free-for-all that surrounded Ponyville's town hall.
Nearly all of the populaces earthbound equines gathered at the town's center, turning it into a vortex of destruction and littering the ground around them with the mangled corpses of the fallen, saturating its soil with their spilled blood.
In this whirlwind of violence, skirmishes between two fighters quickly interchanged with other as they unintentionally grew closer to separate brawlers, sometimes turning a once fair duel into a prison style gang up for some unfortunate ponies.
Though to a trio of magic wielders, it was hardly a problem.
Amidst this sea of violence, Princess Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer and Rarity had been at each others’ throat since this whole thing began, and all three showed some forms of disfigurement as a testament to their lengthy combat with one another.
As Twilight blocked three of Rarity's leaping kicks, she wickedly elbowed her in the gut before following up with a knee to it as well. Spinning around and using Rarity's foreleg for leverage, Twilight hip tossed the white unicorn to the side before catching a kick to the back of the head from Glimmer. Starlight rushed to her opponent to continue her assault, but Twilight was quick to recover and blocked the incoming attacks before replying with a few herself. As the two continued to check and dodge each others’ blows, Glimmer was finally able to land one on her opponent, catching Twilight in the chest with a powerful front kick and knocking her back first into the ground.
But just as she was going to seize the opportunity to continue, Rarity jumped in from the from the side with a heavy straight that rocked Glimmer's head, forcing her to take a few steps back. Shaking her head to clear her dazed eyesight, Glimmer attempted return the favor, but Rarity bobbed and weaved around the swings thrown at her face before replying with solid punches to her abdomen and sides, which eventually led to wrenching Glimmer's head to the side from a nasty elbow to her face before following through with a spinning back kick to the mare's gut, forcing her back a few feet into a single kneeling position.
Hearing hoofsteps behind her, Rarity quickly spun around just in time to duck under Twilight's roundhouse directed at her head before smashing a leaping knee into Twilight's face. Causing the violet mare to turn around from the trauma, Rarity kicked in the back of her knee and proceeded to wrap her forelegs around the mare's head and neck in a harsh chokehold, cutting of her air flow. But as Rarity enjoyed the mare's struggling, she failed to pick up the sound of hoofsteps approaching from behind and received a harsh knee to the spine for her neglectfulness.
Grunting loudly in shock, Rarity was quickly enveloped in a rear naked choke of her own and in her new state she regretfully lost hold of the Princess.
Greedily returning air to her lungs, Twilight spun around and discovered that it was Glimmer who came to her rescue. Now with Rarity momentarily subdued, she was free to hail her body with several punches, breaking a few ribs and causing multiple contusions in the process. When Twilight finally ceased her ruthless assault to hastily think about what she was going to do next, Rarity tucked in her knees and shot her legs out with tremendous force, delivering a double kick to Twilight's face and sending the mare a few yards away.
When her legs returned to the earth, Rarity quickly elbowed Glimmer twice in her sides before squatting down and jumping into the air. With Glimmer's hold weakened, Rarity broke through it with her ascent, but kept her own forehooves locked on the mare to perform a hoofstand on top of her shoulders. In her descent, Rarity brutally kneed her in the spine to repay the mare for her interruption, sending Glimmer towards Twilight's still splayed out position. But just when Rarity made for the downed pair, a blast of magic struck her in the back and sent her tumbling into her former friends.
As the three groggily returned to standing positions a number of hooves made their presence known to the mares.
Looking around them, the three mares discovered that they were surrounded by a small gang of their townsfolk. Putting their skirmish on hold for now, the trio of mares squared themselves back to back with each other, readying for the inevitable rush forward from their neighbors.
When they finally did, they were met with harsh resistance as each of the trio expertly defended their positions with lethal efficiency. Dodging and ducking under attacks, checking strikes and returning with their own, these mares brutally struck down each and everyone of these would be fight encroachers.
As Twilight easily blocked a few swings thrown at her and caught another, she pulled and struck at the foreleg just below the elbow, breaking it harshly. Tearing the bone out of its compound fracture with magic, Twilight quickly shot it into the screaming stallion's eye before spin kicking them away, opening a spot for another attacker to fill. As that happened, Starlight ducked under a roundhouse aimed at her head and kicked in both of the offending mare's knees in when she clumsily missed and ended up facing away from Starlight. Now with the mare on her knees, Glimmer proceeded to throw a knee into the mare's spine and then another to the back of her neck before grabbing her head and wrenching it upward into an unnatural angle. When a charging battle cry rang from her side, Glimmer, quickly and gruesomely, forced her magic to take hold of the dead mare's spine and tore the spinal column and skull from the corpse to effectively clothesline the stampeding stallion to the ground, finishing him with a nasty curb stomp. While Rarity herself was dealing with two opponents at once, as both her mare and stallion attackers were giving it their all, the formerly refined mare gracefully danced between their onslaught of strikes, causing them to miss every single one. But just as they started to slow down from exhaustion Rarity sprung into action, kicking the inside of the stallion's knees in succession to her left and leaving him stunned, she checked a jab from the mare to her right and replied with two jabs and an uppercut before following through with a knee to the gut and a heavy throat punch, leaving the mare quite debilitated. As she finished that combination, Rarity downwardly heel kicked the stallion in the head to keep him stunned and grasped the mare's throat in her magic before tearing out her esophagus. Returning to the dazed stallion, Rarity picked him up to his knees and then promptly shook his skull with two forceful hooks before grabbing his head to cruelly slam her knee into his throat four times, leaving him to his death with a crushed wind pipe next to the gurgling mare.
As the number of attackers dwindled around them, the trio of mares started to spread out more and more until only one remained.
Minuette, who now stood between Twilight and Starlight, was the last member of her eliminated group of ponies and the one who shot Rarity in the back.
When Twilight and Starlight started their assault on the lone unicorn, Rarity made to assist, but was tackled to the side by a plum coated mare, who was quick to wail on the downed unicorn.
Picking up her guard, Rarity halted the clumsy but powerful blows and kicked away the mare who was straddling her. Picking herself back up, Rarity sized up her new opponent.
It was Berry Punch, who was swaying drunkenly from side to side.
Thinking this would be an easy fight, Rarity approached the swaying mare and threw a heavy straight at the mare’s face, but was unfortunately mistaken in her assumption. Sidestepping the blow, Berry hooked Rarity in the face with the full might of an inebriated earth pony and caused the white mare to fall to the side on her knee. Clutching her face, Rarity could already feel a painful bruise start to swell on her face, and in a fit of rage, she turned and struck the plum coated mare in the gut, but quickly came to regret her action as Berry Punch vomited onto her face.
Squawking in disgust, Rarity quickly stood up and cleared the sick mess off herself just in time to see Berry swing a wine bottle into her face. Leaving her dazed, Berry swiftly threw the broken piece of glass to the side before pulling out another wine bottle, leveling this one on the other side of Rarity's face and sending her spiraling onto the ground.
Spitting some blood and a tooth onto the ground, Rarity blearily looked at a slowly approaching Berry, who still had the broken bottle neck in her grasp. As the mare finally reached her prey, Rarity forcefully kicked in the mare's knees, causing the drunken mare to fall on her wounded knees and scream in pain. As that happened, Rarity tore the glass shard away from Berry and placed it in front of her neck before swiftly kicking the lethally edged glass into her throat.
While Berry choked on her own blood, Rarity kicked the dying mare away from herself and just lied there, taking in a small breather now that she was safe from an imminent demise. When Rarity finally stood back up and took in her surroundings, she spotted Minuette again, though the mare was now beaten to a pulp and was floating in the air surrounded by the magical auras of her former friends. As she continued to watch, she witnessed Minuette's hind legs start to spread oppositely until they reached their physical limit, then Minuette began to scream hysterically as her lower half began to split apart while her hind legs were continuing to be pulled apart by different colored auras. Just when the screaming reached its loudest point, Minuette sickeningly split up the middle, pouring out all of her vital organs on the ground as she was gruesomely torn apart by the two magic wielders.
Having seen enough, Rarity picked up the discarded bottle neck from, the now dead, Berry's first attack on the white mare and quickly made her way to the two mares who were still enraptured with their handiwork. But Just as she was about to shiv Twilight in the jugular, a length of rope lassoed around her neck and pulled her harshly backwards.
Broken from their musings, both Twilight and Starlight turned to look at Rarity and her dropped weapon. Tracing the rope back to its owner, they found that it was Applejack, who began to roughly reel in the struggling Rarity through the bloodied soil, and far away from the trio's fight for good.
After watching Rarity disappear into the surrounding chaos, the mares just simply looked back at one another, remembering what was happening before they joined forces.
Now it was just between Twilight Sparkle and Starlight Glimmer.
While Twilight flexed her wings and rolled her shoulders, Starlight rolled her head and kicked out a leg, both popping numerous bones out of their stiffness.
Both didn't move for awhile, somehow just contented to stare at each other while breathing heavily.
On some unknown cue, both of the mares charged at each other with pure hatred in their eyes. When they met, Starlight caught a knee to the abdomen but ducked under the follow up thrusting elbow, using the opportunity to get closer, she crossed Twilight's face with multiple punches before being caught with with a spinning backhoof herself, using the momentum from the strike, Starlight delivered a jumping spin kick to Twilight's head, sending the mare on her back a few yards away.
When Twilight righted herself, she channeled a tremendous amount of magic into her horn and let it loose in Starlight's direction, tearing up the ground with a dark pink beam of energy before leveling it at the mare.
Starlight, seeing this, jumped to the side quickly before the deadly beam of energy vaporized her. Landing on all fours, Starlight charged her horn with magic as well before sending a more accurate bolt of energy at Twilight herself.
Using her wings, Twilight rocketed into the sky, causing the cyan bolt to miss her but strike a straight haired and bloody Pinkie Pie who was charging Twilight from behind, making the pink mare scream as was she flung back across the battlefield.
Twilight, using the sun to hide her movements, shot from the sky and struck Starlight with a diving kick, sending the mare flying backwards.
Starlight, in her weightless state, charged her horn and teleported behind Twilight, using her building speed to knee her in the side and stomp on her knee, breaking a few ribs and rendering her knee useless. Twilight instantly replied by elbowing Starlight in the face before, using the help of her wings, backflip kicking her chin, sending the mare backwards and giving Twilight enough time to fuse together her broken knee with magic. Having recovered from the kick, Starlight charged forward and leaped into a front kick, but Twilight dodged it and returned with several jabs and straights, only to have them checked by Glimmer. Blocking Twilight's blows, Starlight landed several strikes along her opponent's body, but Twilight didn't let slow her down, rushing forward while she should have been pushed back, she caught Glimmer off guard and rocked her head with a strong hook before following through with two knees to her gut before sending Glimmer on her back with a spinning back kick to her chest.
While picking herself of the ground, Starlight noticed that Twilight wasn't continuing her assault but instead was charging her horn yet again with copious amounts of magic. Knowing she wouldn't have enough time to dodge it again, Starlight barley had enough time to match the amount of magic she needed to combat the intense beam of energy that had just been unleashed from Twilight's horn.
Thick beams of pure magic met each other between the two fighters, and as dark pink met cyan in a brilliant display of ultra bright light, the smell of burning ozone tainted the air around the war zone and magical slag poured from the center of the dueling energies.
Screaming in rage, Twilight poured even more magic into her beam and proceeded to slowly march towards her opponent, Starlight replied to this by employing the same method. As the mares marched towards each other, their beams of energy grew in power and thickness, causing the center of the energies to spew out more magical slag. When the dueling sorceresses were just a few feet away from each other, their combined magical forces erupted outwardly in a blindingly bright explosion that kicked up a tremendous amount of ash and shook the very earth that Ponyville rested on.
When the dust finally settled, the only pony left standing from the magical duel was a heavily singed Twilight.
As she slowly walked through the falling ashes that poured from the sky, she came upon a crawling Starlight.
Starlight herself was a horrible sight, numerous burn wounds marred the once beautiful unicorn’s body and face, her horn was now broken and dribbled out blood with the occasional painful spark of magic.
Flaring her wings, Twilight grasped Starlight with her magic and forced the mare onto her knees, making her face the alicorn princess.
Keeping her magical hold on her, Twilight concentrated her grasp on the mare's chest, making Starlight grunt in irritation from the added pressure, who soon began to breathe heavily before outright wheezing in pain. When the wheezing turned to groaning, and the groaning into agonized screaming, Starlight's chest bursted outwardly in a gory display as Twilight tore apart the poor mare's flesh and ripped open her ribcage, exposing her heart, lungs and digestive system for all to see.
As Starlight continued to suffer in her current state, Twilight charged magic into her still functional horn and let loose a small, but powerful beam of magic.
As the beam pierced through the mare's heart, two things happened.
one, Starlight Glimmer was put out of her misery.
Two, the unnaturally dark sheen in every living pony's eyes disappeared.
When the beam of magic left Starlight and when the body fell into the building ashes around it, Twilight screamed in the horrific realization of what she had just done, of what she had been doing all this time.
Rushing to the body of her recently deceased friend and pupil on all fours, Twilight lifted the corpse out of the ashes and cradled her.
Whining mournfully, Twilight could only rock back and forth on her flank with her dead friend held firmly in her forelegs, utterly speechless to horror that transpired in Ponyville, to the amount of lives that been lost, to the amount of lives she had taken in an all consuming and unknown rage. Nuzzling and kissing at Starlight's cheek, Twilight just held onto her friend’s head tightly as she hoped that this was all just a horrible night terror that she would wake up from and find the real Starlight Glimmer so she could kiss her, hug her and tell the mare how much she loved her.
After hysterically sobbing for awhile and wishing for the impossible, Twilight finally found her voice and used it with great sorrow to ask but a single question.
"OH, CELESTIA, WHYYYY?!"
As her cry echoed, even more hysterical screams of guilt and pain rang throughout Ponyville and reached into the heavens. Where high above, two severely different entities had front row seats to the entire incident.
"See! Didn't I tell you these ponies were nothing but little blood thirsty monsters? They only needed a little motivation to spur them on, is all. Oh, and I must say, you provided the most wonderful form of encouragement I could've asked for! Haaaaa~" Discord, the spirit of chaos, crooned while leaning over a viewing portal that showed a weeping alicorn cradling an eviscerated unicorn.
"Man... when you're right, you're right." Shao Kahn, Emperor of Outworld, grunted in flat astonishment, taken aback at how easily the ponies fervidly tore into each other with only the simple roaring of his word.
Clearing his throat, the Draconequus smiled smugly at him before continuing. "Now, if you will, the winnings please?"
"Fine, fine!" Shao Kahn growled before summoning his dragon emblazoned great hammer in his hand. But as he was about to give it to Discord, he pulled it back quickly.
"Remember, you said "borrow". That means I get this back when you're finished," The Emperor growled before handing over his great hammer to Discord.
Taking the great hammer in his grasp, Discord gasped in false offense. "Me?! Why, I'd never! Who do you take me for hmmm? that old snake Shang Tsung? I'm a chaotic spirit of my word, I'll have you know."
The great warlord of Outworld just stared menacingly at the chaotic serpent in silence.
"Oh, fine! I promise that it shan't be away too long, you overcompensating lummox.” Twirling the hammer like it was a cane, Discord continued. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have a dick measuring contest with Thor I need to attend to. Tata, my bald friend!"
As Discord disappeared into a tear in reality, Shao Kahn stared into the viewing portal for awhile before muttering. "Damn." As he scratched his his bald head in continued astonishment, contemplating whether or not if he should merge the realm with Outworld for the sole purpose of replacing his baby-shit strong tarkatan army with the surprisingly hardy and powerful ponies of Equestria.
That purple alicorn did look really fond of the corpse she was holding, he thought. Maybe he could get her to swear fealty to him if he had Quan Chi resurrect the dead mare she was clutching, and a number of others as well. It was just a thought.
When he heard a loud metallic clang and screaming, he turned around and saw that one of his feared tarkatan personal guard had went and accidentally bumped into a lighting fixture, showering the fool in burning hot coals... again.
Growling in annoyance, the feared warlord turned back to the portal again and studied the world within.
It was a rather enticing thought.
"Fetch me Quan Chi!" He bellowed.
