When you're the only dragon in a society of ponies, it can get kind of depressing. No one actually understands you, no one looks at you as more than a novelty or an amusing little pet. It only makes sense that you would get lonely and want one thing only: companionship.

Luckily for Spike, he knows a magical zebra who just might be able to give him a way to make ponies think he's interesting and enchanting. Maybe, just maybe, he'll find love.
