Celestia had been very busy that day as it was the day of the royal meeting between other countries and it went exactly to plan . Celestia then walked over to her balcony just to witness Luna’s beautiful sky. taking one last deep breath in before heading to bed but suddenly a scroll appeared in front of Celestia, curious Celestia opened it wondering who it could be from. Twilight sparkle was surly in bed by now along with Spike so she couldn't send one although it could be discord pulling a prank. But Celestia opened the scroll and skipped to the end to see who it was from, and saw it was from Queen Chrysalis. ‘Oh dear what could she want.’ so Celestia started reading the letter. Dear Princess Celestia It has been 60 moons since i tried to conquer equestria and i think it is as better time as any to say, i'm sorry. You are probably wondering what brought on this letter it's simple, i want to explain myself and why i did what i did. But i need to ask one question what would you have done? You see Celestia my changelings children were starving for food. as a Queen i thought i should ask neighboring countries as i did not want to start a war but i don't think you can say ‘will you allow my changelings to feed off you’re people's love and power?’ without seeming like you want to take over the country. Even after endless amounts of begging even saying benifits they all said no, it got even worse when they upped the security so they were on high alert for changelings which made it even harder for my children to feed. We wouldn't of drained them unless we had permission from the pony, zebra, buffalo etc and it wouldn't of hurt them for long they may just seem a bit drowsy for a day or two and they would have been a bit stronger after. But they never saw it that way they thought we changelings would have just taken over when the country was weak enough. We were desperate so what do you do when the nice approach doesn't work, well you start being aggressive. Equestria was the only country that had not upped their defences so logically it was perfect. I first sent a couple soldiers to scope out equestria to look for possible targets and any problems that may arise, until one soldier came to me and said there was a Princess of love known as Princess cadence and that she was engaged to the captain of the royal guard. It fell together so perfectly so i took the opportunity and snuck in disguised as cadance and well... You know what happened. But i dont know why but i loved the feeling that i was getting from shining armour, and it drove me a bit crazy just making crave more and more and because of this i started slacking with my impersonation of cadence which happened to be my downfall. When my changling army were sent back to the badlands many perished as they crashed into the ground and mountains and because of this it was only me and a hooful of injured changelings had to find our hive and as Queen and as a mother i had to protect them from whatever monsters had come our way which only worsened my injuries. Just when i thought i couldn't go on we found the hive and i currently lie, in the hospital wing more precisely ‘recovering’ from my injuries.My hive is currently fine, the other changelings have fully heald except me although thats to be expected when my wing got torn off and two legs were broken and of course many bleeding cuts and wonds. As you can see all my children wanted was food and we couldn't be nice about it so we had no choice but to be aggressive. don't take it personally equestria was just easy. But as i write this from my bed i think, my children wanted food and because of this most of them have been killed and the rest are slowly progressing and i mean slowly now, do you find that fair? 'that fool' she said in a low voice she then called to the 16 changelings working in the hive and addressed them, 'we have been given permission to hunt in Equestria but princess Celestia herself which means we have an opportunity to take Equestria itself. first we regroup out army then we slowly take Equestria's power from the inside out, we have our chance LETS TAKE IT!!' she finished and all the changelings gave a cheer. later that evening queen cocoon went to chrysalis final resting place putting a hoof on her glass casket 'dont worry mother, i will avenge you.'
