It's merely a month before the Grand Galloping Gala and the planning for this special event had just started. Everypony was getting dresses, hiring popular musicians and getting the best chefs in Equestria to make the food for the gala. Twilight was assigned by Princess Celestia to look into the dragon culture because they were planning to have Princess Ember be a special guest at the gala.
She already wrote to Ember to have her come over and thankfully she obliged and said that she would come over 5 days before the gala started. Twilight managed to clean the entire castle before her arrival, making sure that her visit went well. Whilst Twilight was scurrying around the castle, Spike on the other hoof was just leisurely sweeping the floor. He was thinking to himself how he would approach Ember after not talking for a couple months. Both of them met when they were participating in the Gauntlet Of Fire and ended up helping eachother. Ember ended up winning the event and was crowned the Dragon Lord, but Spike didn't care. He was happy that the title ended up in good claws instead of someone's who would try to take over Ponyville or something like that. Ember even agreed to Twilight after the event that she would tell her anything she wanted to know about the dragon culture.
Spike was snapped out of his daydream by a knock at the door. Being practically Twilight's servant, he went up to answer the door. He opened the door and Princess Ember was on the other side.
"Oh Hi Ember" Spike exclaimed
"Hey Spike" Ember responded
Spike allowed her to come inside to which she obliged. They both reached the room in which Twilight was waiting for Ember in and she trotted over to her.
"Hi Ember, are you excited for the gala?" Twilight asked, reaching out a hoof for a hoofshake
"Hi Twilight, and yes I'm very excited, seeing how this is going to be the first Gala I ever attended" Ember responded and grabbed her hoof with her claw and casually shook it
They both afterwards sat down by the table which was bombarded with notes and papers, all about the plans for the gala. Twilight quickly used her magic to separate them into several stack, each stack talking about a different aspect of the Gala. Spike just stood back, not wanting to be spoiled in what could happen in the Gala. He just continued sweeping the floor, quietly mumbling some catchy song lyrics which he heard on the radio a while ago.
"I'm very happy that you could come over and talk to me about your culture, this will really help out a lot" Twilight thanked as she levitated the first piece of paper from it's pile.
"Ah, It's no problem at all" Ember responded
Then Twilight started asking Ember about her culture, but Spike wasn't paying enough attention to it to be able to hear it. Even though he was a dragon, he was mostly raised up in pony culture which was why Twilight couldn't just ask him. Spike continued to loop around the room, sweeping at every corner and side of it. He kept himself busy with mumbling loads of catchy songs, making the time pass by faster. He could recall Twilight asking her things about food, kinds of music, any kind of traditions which dragons may have and many other things. Spike again, didn't pay any attention to the answers and instead carried on with his chores.
He finally got done with sweeping the whole of the castle around one or two hours later. The castle was so huge that it was always a pain to Spike of having to sweep every inch of it. He had other chores on top of that which only made his life even more tedious. He was about to return to the main room where Twilight was still asking Ember the questions, just now getting through the first of the two piles she had made, but the frantic knocking on the door took hold of his attention. He went over through the hallways to answer it but then a blue blur raced past him, leaving the doors wide open.
The blue blur raced through the hallways and entered the main room where it stopped, leaving Rainbow Dash panting. Spike raced over to the same room and Rainbow started to spout out something.
"Twilight! Theres a... problem happening in Ponyville right now" Rainbow said, still panting
"Whats the problem?" Twilgiht asked, getting off her seat and trotting over to Rainbow Dash
"Well... me and Discord may have been playing around and.... we may have just had an accident" She said, putting on a sheepish smile
Twilight groaned and rolled her eyes whilst RD just laughed awkwardly.
"Ugh, Spike?" Twilight faced Spike "Can you please stay here with Ember and let me figure out what Rainbow and Discord did?"
"Sure thing Twilight" Spike said, nodding his head
Twilight and Rainbow Dash then took off, leaving the two dragons alone in the castle. The awkward silence filled the room, Spike being too nervous about starting up a conversation.
"So Spike, how have you been recently?" Ember spoke up, breaking the silence
"I've been great. Visited the Crystal Empire not too long ago. What about you?"
"I'm good" Ember answered "I've heard that you befriended a changeling, I can't believe you could do that"
"Well yeah, Thorax was just misunderstood and I guess I was the po-.. errr dragon to help him"
"I can't imagine any dragons that would even dare to get close to a changeling, you're pretty brave for such a little guy" Ember responded
Spike's cheek's flushed and he put on a smile. He then looked back at Ember, never before taking in how beautiful she actually was. Her luminous blue scales, her warm and sincere smile but most of all... those eyes of hers. Spike couldn't turn his view on something else, he was completely entranced by her eyes. He never felt this way towards Ember and right now he just wanted to be close to her.
"Umm, mind if I sit next to you?" Spike asked anxiously
"Sure, I don't mind" Ember responded
Spike hurried over and sat down on the chair across Ember's, the one in which Twilight was sitting in before.
"So other than that trip, what have you been up to recently?" Ember asked
"I've been just helping out Twilight with..."
Spike's words trailled off as he got lost in Ember's eyes. Her eyes were filled with passion and beauty. He had only gotten the feeling of love with Rarity, but now he was starting to get the same feelings towards Ember. Her scales were also breathtaking. They were deep blue scales, such an amazing colour. He couldn't look away, he was completely lost in her looks. Was he actually starting to have a crush on Ember?
"With?..." Ember said, snapping Spike out of his trance
Spike shook his head violently, getting out of his daydreaming. Trying to remember where he left off.
"Oh that's right" Spike continued "I helped Twilight the Gala, it should be the biggest Gala we've ever had"
Ember nodded in understanding, Spike still staring at her entrancing scales and eyes.
"Why would it be the best Gala you've ever had, if you don't mind me asking" Ember asked
Spike still lost in her looks, he said the first thing that came to his head almost instantly.
"Because you will be there"
Spike then realised that he just said and looked back at Ember who was now blushing. Spike was also now blushing and he just hoped that Ember wouldn't take it the wrong way.
"Wow... thank you Spike, that means a lot" Ember thanked wish a sincere smile
The conversation then soon died down into silence. Spike still taking quick glances every so often at Ember before bringing himself back into reality. Ember on the other claw could definitely see what was going on. It was way too obvious that Spike had a thing for her. From the blushing to him taking quick looks at her, it was obvious to her that he had a thing for her. A small smirk crept across her face.
"You seem to be looking at me a lot" Ember broke the silence, making Spike jump a bit "You want to tell me something"
Her question made Spike increasingly nervous, making his body start shaking whilst he tried to come up with an excuse. His mind raced, trying to cover up his sudden attraction towards Ember. His cheeks flushed and Ember put on a grin, she had him now!
"I'm just..." Spike's voice trailed off, not being able to think of something on the spot to excuse his sudden attraction to her
Ember just giggled and smiled warmly to Spike, making him calm down a tiny bit
"I'm just teasing, don't take it like that" Ember said, both of them easing up a little "In fact... I actually don't mind you checking me out"
Spike's eyes widened by her words, she wasn't even mad? He was taken back by her and he could feel his cheeks burn a hot red.
"You're not mad at me?" Spike asked causiously, making Ember's eyes widen
"Mad at you? Are you crazy?!" Ember replied "I'm flattered that you're checking me out like that, I should be the one to be checking you out"
Spike's eyes widened once again, every sentence from Ember always apparently making him even more shocked. Before Spike would open his mouth, Ember clarified herself.
"I mean... you allowed me to become the ruler of the dragons, you met and befriended a changeling and you saved the Crystal Empire. You are just incredible"
Spike was taken back but wasn't feeling embarrassed or nervous anymore... almost anyways.
"Well... you're pretty incredible too" Spike said, making Ember smile
There was a warm tension in the room. Not out of nervousness... but love.
"Incredible looking or just incredible everything?" Ember asked, staring at him with half-lidded eyes
"Well hehe" Spike chuckled, scratching behind his head "You are incredibly looking... but that not the only reason why I like you"
Spike began to loosen up, being able to voice his feelings without showing any signs of regret. Ember blushed again and smirked. She then started leaning over the table, both of her claws placed on either side of her body. Spike stayed perfectly still but could definitely feel where this was going. Ember then started closing her eyes and Spike did the same. A second later, their lips met.
Spike didn't have any prior experience in kissing mares, let alone dragons but Ember eased up on him, making him relax and go with it all. Ember then opened her mouth, pulling Spike in deeper into the kiss. She eventually had to get on all fours on the table to be able to drive deeper into Spike's mouth. Their tongues eventually meet, dancing and slipping past eachother as they both explore eachother's mouths. Ember moaned into Spike's mouth, making him get more and more aroused. He couldn't believe that he got so lucky with Ember. He could remember a couple years ago when he first had a crush on Rarity and it still not working out after all these years, now he was able to get someone else just in a few hours. They break the kiss with an audible smacking sound, both of them panting whilst staring into eachother's eyes, lust building inside one another.
"Ready to take this one step further?" Ember cooed
Spike only could muster a nod and Ember smirked. Ember then got off the table and Spike also got off the chair. Ember then picked spike up and sat him down on the table, getting between his legs to see his still rather flaccid erection.
"Still not fully hard yet" Ember grinned "Mind if I help"
Spike didn't have a chance to respond as he left Ember wrap her lips around Spike's dick, sucking hard as she tried to get him hard for her.
