Twilight Sparkle, now newly transferred to Canterlot Highschool, is eager to study the applications to magic that exist in the world. She had already seen it first hand herself, both personally and the effects it had on Spike. But now she wants to see know what the full extent of magic can do. Naturally her new friends are willing to help her, especially Sunset who is glad to have a someone to share her magical studies with, but when an experiment goes wrong Twilight and Sunset will find themselves in a world far different from either of theirs and unprepared for the laws that govern this world.
