It was a beautiful day in Canterlot. Comet, a beautiful bright pink filly with a sparkling purple mane, was sleeping in her room. She opened her pure golden eyes and flapped her little wings to get out of bed. Her horn glowed with golden magic as she opened the door to her bathroom.

She brushed her main into a sleek style, as well as her tail. She looked at herself in the silver-laced mirror that stood in the room. There was a black star, with smaller stars inside, on her flank. It was the cutiemark she had gotten yesterday. Her mom had told her it meant she would grow up to become the most amazing princess in Equestria!

Once she was done, she left her room and stepped into the hallway that led straight to the throne room. Another young foal was standing infront of the giant door. He was a yellow unicorn with a black and yellow mane in the style of Snowdash, a pony from some popular hearthswarming eve story.

Comet approached the colt with a happy smile.

"Goodmorning Mice trap!" She said. Then, she noticed he didn't look too happy. "GASP!" She gasped. "Do I not look amazing enough today!?"

He sighed and rolled his light yellow eyes. "No, Comet, there's nothing wrong with you. It's my cutiemark." He turned and showed her the mouse trap on his flank.

Comet blinked. "Well, what's wrong with that? Your job is to catch mice afterall, you must be so happy!"

Mice trap sighed again. "Just go inside the throne room." He used his light-blue magic to open the door and then left without another word.

Inside, a guard was waiting for her.

"Princess Comet!" He neighed. "I have terrible news! The other princesses, they're all..............missing!"

"But who would do such a thing!?" Comet said. She had no idea who could ever be so mean!

Then, the window shattered and someone jumped inside the room. It was...................Spike!

"What are you doing here?" Said Comet. The small dragon was supposed to be gathering info about the cultists who had been spreading lies about her.

Spike brushed a few glass sharts off of his skin and faced the pink pony. "I'm here to deliver a message to you, from the cultists."

Everypony in the room gasped!

"A message?" She asked confused.

"Yes." Spike said. "They say you are weak, and wish to meet you in the Everfree forest to show that they are right."

"That's horrible!" Comet exclaimed. "But I'll prove them wrong! I'll defeat the whole group with my awesome magic, and they'll never spread lies ever again!"

With her amazing flying skills, she quickly flew to ponyville and into the Everfree forest. It was a dark place, and she wondered why they couldn't have chosen a place more suitable for the new ruler of Equestria.

Because, with Celestia, Luna, Cadence and Twilight missing, she was the only alicorn left. And she was definitely the right choice for ruling.

Finally, she came to a clearing and glanced around.

"Hello! Anypony there?" Comet screamed.

"So, you actually came." Said a female voice from the shadows.

Comet whipped around. "Who are you? Show yourself!"

Laughter filled the clearing and a pegasus in a black cloak stepped out from behind the trees, followed by a unicorn with the same cloak.

"I didn't think it would be so easy to get you away from all those guards." The unicorn snickered.

"Once again, it proves that you are NOT suited to rule Equestria. Or anything for that matter!" The pegasus sneered.

Comet narrowed her eyes. "You're all just jealous because I'm an alicorn! And I WILL be the best princess ever!" She screeched and shot a beam of magic at the pegasus, launching her into a tree.

Immediately, two earth ponies emerged from the shadows and attempted to attack Comet.

She responded by lifting them up with magic and launching them into the air.

"Retreat!" The pegasus shouted and bolted, leaving a proud-looking Comet.

"Yeah! You better run!" She yelled after them and returned to Canterlot victorious.

A few hours later, the princesses returned. It turned out that they were just having a tea party somewhere else.

Celestia concratulated Comet on the amazing way she had ruled Equestria for such a short time and then went to sit on the throne.

Comet frowned at this action and growled softly. "Why can't I keep ruling Equestria?" She asked.

"Because you're too young, my dear." Celestia explained.

"No!" Comet yowled. "I'm the strongest pony there ever was! I deserve to be queen!"

"Queen?!" Luna gasped.

"Yes! I should be sitting on the throne!"

"Comet, that's enough, go to your room." Celestia said sternly.

The pink filly growled. "How DARE you speak to me this way! You're all banished!"

"You can't do that!" Twilight protested, slamming her hoof down on the ground.

Comet let out a yowl as she leapt at Twilight, pinning the purple pony to the ground.

"I said," Her horn began to glow with powerful magic. "You. Are. All. Banished!" She blasted the four ponies all the way to the changeling lands and smiled. The reign of Comet would now commence!

In a secluded cave, somewhere deep in the Everfree forest, a pegasus wearing a cloak stood at her desk. She removed the hood from her head and revealed a light pink mane with a yellow coat.

"Fluttershy?" A unicorn said as she entered the cultist leader's room. "You wanted to see me?"

Fluttershy turned around. "Yes, Starlight, I have recieved news none of us will like." She fixed her eyes on Starlight's. "Comet has banished the princesses and gained control over all of Equestria."

"But - but how!? How could she be more powerful than all four of the princesses combined?"

"She is a Mary sue. An overpowered pony, that no one can beat. What's worse, is that she uses these powers for her own gain. She must be stopped, or Equestria will never be the same."
