matthew talks to the ponies and creatures of equestria.

i sat quietly in my office with my notepad in my left hand and a black ink pen in my right hand before i heard someone knock on the door and i smiled as i invited them in and i saw discord walk through the door and i smiled slightly as he closed the door and he calmly walked over and sat in the chair opposite me.

"so matthew why did you call me here" discord politely asked me and i smiled as i looked down at the list on my notepad and i looked at the first step which was to converse with discord about his chaos magic.

"well i invited you over so i could talk to you about some things starting with your chaos magic" i stated and discord smiled at me.

"well then why don't you start" discord said in a clam voice and i nodded at him.

"so chaos magic can alter reality right?" i asked discord with an intrigued face and discord nodded at me.

"yes i can alter reality with my magic but it of course has it's weaknesses" discord replied and i looked thoughtful for a moment before smirking.

"ahh yes i think i may know some of those weaknesses" i stated and discord looked intrigued.

"obviously you can alter reality but that is only to a certain extent and i believe that you can not alter the lives of other ponies, at least not permantently. yes you can make it so someponies personality is the opposite of what it originally was but it can always be reversed whether that be via a memory spell or it wearing off over time. i also believe that you can not alter the past or the future because if you could then you would be able to stop yourself from being encased in stone and you would alse be able to stop tirek before he could do anything. now for the final weakness i believe you have, you can not use your chaos magic to change anything about the world itself so you could not make it so dragon or ponies din't exist or anything like that. am i correct in my assumptions" i asked and discord was looking at me with wide eyes before nodding.

"okay now then i wish to ask you one simple thing, if you can alter ponies personalities then why didn't you alter the personalities of the princesses?" i asked and discord was looking at me and he sighed.

"because like you said i can not permanently alter someone personality but you also do not know that for me to alter someone personality i have to have more power than them thus why i could not alter the personalities of the princesses because they were the wielders of the elements and the elements would protect them from changing" discord stated and i smiled at him.

"that is very intresting okay now then one last question, how do you feel about celestia" i asked and discord looked at me in confusion before sighing.

"well at first i guess you could say i absolutely hated her but now i like her i mean she's so nice to me now and she acts almost like my mother and i have never truly had a mother figure i could look up to, at least that i can remember. i aslo believe that i may be becoming infatuated with her because my heart beats faster when i'm near hear and i can't help but get butterflies when she smiles at me. now then is that all you wanted to talk to me about?" discord asked and i smiled at him before nodding and he smiled before getting up and leaving the room waving at me as he did before he closed the door and i smiled as i looked down at my notepad and i wrote everything me and discord talked about down.
