Blinding Lights and Tenebrific Darkness
Oh, just when I thought things might be different, it turns back to Dark... Oh, hello. I didn't notice you there. Welcome to my home, visitor. Where exactly is my home, you ask? This entire realm is my home. From the Dark, to the Light and to myself, I own them all, thus I own it all. Though in reality, I did not get permission to own the Light and the Dark, but they never objected.
It turned to Light again? That was rather quick... Oh, I apologize. You must be confused on all this. Let me explain this to you.
In this realm, the Dark and the Light are two opposite, almost omnipresent forces that are ever-present. Despite being opposite and being quite easy to differentiate, however, they are similar. They both block out your surroundings, almost chokingly so, to the point where there isn't even a place in yourself that isn't covered up by those forces. In fact, I'm not even really sure how I can differentiate the Dark and the Light in the first place. They do the same thing, so why do I think that they are different? Oh well. I guess I'll just follow my intuition until I find out what they really are, if I ever do. As for me... well, I personally don't know what I am in this realm. For all I know, I am a Dark or a Light to the Dark and the Light... that sounds pretty weird, doesn't it? Anyways, truthfully, that is all that is here. Again, all that exists in this realm are myself, the Dark and the Light. Nothing else. At least, if I do not count yourself.
Dark, once again... Oh, do you want to know how the Dark and the Light works? No problem, I know it can be it quite bewildering at first, I sure was when I first... appeared here. You see, if you remember when I was first describing the Dark and the Light, I had told you that they are 'almost omnipresent'. Well, let me elaborate. In this realm, either the Dark or the Light can be in effect. While one of them are in effect, however, the other is not. So basically, think of it as taking turns for an activity you would do with a partner. Even though both you and your companion are there, only one of you is actually doing whatever activity you do. At pretty much anytime, the current force that is in effect can be switched for its opposite. For example, Light was in effect just now, but it turned into Dark.
If you were confused by my musings when you got here, don't be. It had simply been quite a bit of time for the Light to turn back into the Dark, a lot longer than usual, actually. I usually unaware of the exact time it take for a switch between the two forces to occur, but I am able tell the difference between a 'small time period' and a 'large time period'. This time, it was the latter. I had thought that something had changed, that maybe... this had ended. I was a fool for believing in that.

I know you have been acting like a visitor, innocently asking question I've already answered multiple times. If you thought that I would somehow forget your visits here... well, I do not know what to think of you. However, I am fine playing along. It's a fine way of distracting me from the repetitiveness of the Dark and the Light.

Oh, that question. It is quite interesting. 'How am I communicating with you if the only thing that exists in this realm are yourself, the Dark and the Light?'. If I'm right, you have yet to ask that question. However, before I answer, I can't help but notice you asked that question as if you didn't exist. Is there any reason for this?

Anyways, for your question, I am honestly unsure myself. I assume my means of communication are a part of myself, as I somewhat control my words. My reasons of doubt, however, is the fact that I genuinely do not know the meaning of my words. By that, I mean the words I use have no meaning to me. The words of my every sentence, I do not know the definition. I guess this realm had given me this as a way to keep my sanity. I also assume you have a link with my means of communication, seeing as you are the only thing that exist inside of this realm that can communicate to me. Am I right?
I'll take your silence as a 'yes'. I will wait for you to give me a clear answer, though. I would rather not have all of the excitement disappear in one go. Now, was that your last inquiry? It was? How have you been? It certainly has been quite a while since our last encounter, hasn't it? I hope you have gotten used to your new status as Alicorn and Princess of Equestria. The transition may have been quite rough, but I have faith that everything will be alright.
On another note, there seems to be an influx of magic near Ponyville.I'm sure you have sensed it as well. I do not believe, or rather, do not want to believe that it is dangerous for Equestria, but if possible, please go and investigate it.
