Chapter 04

Effie POV

Finally school was over! I scurried off to the front of the gate and waited for Alois to come. Jeez, what takes him so long anyways.. I took out my bag and looked at the invitation. It was meant for Alois... but I don't even know if he has any more free time...

"BOO!" Someone jumped on me. I jumped with fear and looked back on who it was. It was Alois. He smirked and gave a 'What-ya-gonna-do-about-it'  face. I slapped his cheek with all the courage I had.

"OWWCH!" He screamed. But he later started laughing as we ALWAYS did this. Well, might as well ask him if he wants to come to the party..

"Hey, are you free at 6:30?" I asked with a grin, anxious for his reply. He looked at me with a sad face.

"Sorry, no.. I have some things to attend to.." He said as he looked around, as if he was looking for someone. But soon smiled again.

"Well then, shall we go?" He asked, like a gentleman.

"We shall"  I said, acting with him. We walked through the narrow streets of London, first dropping me at my place though, which was nice of him. We talked about what we were gonna play tomorrow for our spend the day. He dropped me off and went back to his place. I went inside the penthouse and went to the elevator, only to be introduced by my little brother Oliver.

"Oliver Chevalier! What on earth are you doing here?" I said like my mum would. He giggled as I picked him up and then went to the elevator. Mum must have been asleep.. she did work all night Yesterday.. I sighed as I got off the elevator, and into my family penthouse.

"Ok Oliver, The wicked witch of crazytown filled with boogers and no fun is having a party! And we cant say no or mummy won't let us eat the sugar cream puffs!" I said, trying to be as honest as possible. Well we can't lie, Caelin is a witch.

"Okie, but pappa told me that  pappa is going to my friends house and he takes me with him!" He said, cheering. Yup, Im done, Done.. just done! I sighed as I kept him in the living room and went inside my room. I slapped myself on the bed and sighed. Suddenly my kwami came out.

"E-effi, you should get ready for the party..." Bippi said, crawling on my head. I sighed again and loooked in my closet to find something good enough to wear..
