The Grand Galloping Gala, a most prestigious ball that anypony who was anypony would be sure to attend. Each year, ponies would flock to Equestria’s capital, Canterlot, to partake in the biggest dance of the year. This year was no different with the royal dance attracting the highest of Canterlot’s social elites. Crowds from all over Equestria gathered in the big city, driven by promises of good food, good dancing, and good company.
Standing as a shiny beacon among the city, as if beckoning party goers to amass, stood Canterlot Castle. The white and gold castle was lit up brightly this evening with lavishly decorated towers and spires for the occasion. Its many rooms and dance halls were embellished just as beautifully as its exterior with a fair amount of time put into finer details all around the castle.
The castle was filled to the brim with finely dressed ponies. Royal ambassadors, public officials, and the social elite were among the massive list of guests that attended the spectacle that was the Grand Galloping Gala. Mere minutes after the Gala started and the halls were buzzing with activity.
Even the city itself got into the spirit of things. Shops festively decorated their storefronts as kiosks dotted the wide streets to attract customers into buying their wares. While the main attraction was the Gala in the castle, many tourists journeyed through town to take in the sights.
Rainbow Dash returned to the Gala as a seasoned veteran, and with her dream team nonetheless. She arrived at the ball with her team of Wonderbolts, all of them dressed for their opening routine. Dash and the group of six pegasi all wore matching flight suits, well polished goggles resting on their foreheads until needed. The cyan pegasus wore her head high as she marched her flight team through the large halls of the castle. She was living the dream. Not even the subtle crinkling that came from underneath her flight suit seemed to throw her off.
To reduce the need for bathroom breaks, the Wonderbolts were known to wearing absorbent undergarments underneath their uniforms. These plain white garments were built to absorb a sizable amount of liquid during long training sessions and to remain snug around the pegasi’s waist during whatever routine they may perform in the air. The tight fitting diaper as well as the smooth flight suit allowed such padding to go practically unnoticed the whole time it was worn.
For formal gatherings like the Grand Galloping Gala, these 'flight diapers' weren’t all that necessary. The Wonderbolts only had a single routine at the beginning of the night to perform before they were able to join the festivities and for that Dash’s team all remained unpadded underneath their slick flight suits. Everypony wasn’t wearing padding save for Dash herself, but being the leader of the troop, no one in her team argued.
Dash felt quite comfortable walking around wearing it. She had spent many long training weeks in similar padding and her Wonderbolt teammates often did the same. Among the team members, flight diapers were merely just something they used to be the very best fliers in Equestria. As for the typical passer by, Dash didn’t concern herself with getting caught wearing one, her ego proved to be too strong to be shaken up with worry about that.
If one were to look very very closely to Dash’s flank, one could faintly pick up on the ever so slight presence of padding hugging her waist. She didn’t provide much of a reason to be wearing a diaper for the night, but if asked she’d likely hastily come up with an excuse about how it would prevent any distractions from throwing off her game or make her more ‘aerodynamic’ by smoothing out her angles. Whatever the reason, the leader of tonight’s Wonderbolt spectacle was the only one wearing a diaper.
Rainbow Dash guided her team into the main dance hall, a large and lavishly dressed room that housed hundreds of Galas in the past. It’s smooth white floors were polished to a high shine, void of any scuffs or scrapes or any imperfections. Wide, red rugs crossed the middle of the dance floor, leading the eye down it’s length to the raised stage that stood against the far wall. A quartet of string instruments made up of well groomed ponies played music on the stage, conducting the large group of dancing ponies who swayed before them. Tall windows on either side of the large room allowed the purple, starry night to filter into the room, dazzling the atmosphere of the party.
The group of Wonderbolts held their chins high as they strutted through the room with synchronized steps. Their dazzling uniforms were sure to grab attention of dancers as they passed by.
“Alright team, we’re lifting off from the gardens,” Rainbow Dash called out to the group behind her, “follow me!”
News spread quickly among the chattering party ponies as they lined up to see the Wonderbolts getting ready to perform. The groups gathered on either side of the main red carpet that led out the large double doors to the royal gardens.
Applauding was to be had as Dash led her flight team slowly down the red carpet. She held her head high and proudly as the rest of her team followed suit. The aristocratic ponies that surrounded them cheered and clapped as the Wonderbolts steady made their way outside.
“Dash! Hey Dash!” A familiar voice called out among the cheering crowds.
“Soarin’?” Dash turned to the group of ponies on the left, scanning the faces till she noticed a waving stallion who abruptly shoved his way through the crowd.
Soarin’, a long term member of the Wonderbolts, was dressed in a classy attire consisting of a blue suit and a Wonderbolt yellow waistcoat. His dark blue mane was unusually neatened up and slicked back to compliment his dressed up look. “Hey! I hoped I’d catch you before the routine! Ya nervous?”
“Psh! Nervous isn’t even in my vocabulary!” Dash shrugged off with a cocky smirk.
“Yeah I figured,” Soarin’ answered, “still, pretty big step to be the lead pony for the Gala opening act. Heck, I haven’t even done it!”
“I’ll be sure to make you proud!” Dash answered with a raise of her chin.
“Appreciate it! Good luck out there, Dash,” Soarin’ called out, giving the mare’s back a pat for good luck.
This physical contact from such a handsome stallion like Soarin’ caught Dash a bit off guard. Confident and presumptuous comments were easy for the mare to conjure up on the fly, but the seemingly innocent back pat set shivers down her spine. Shaken from her cocky and confident foundation, Dash hastily conjured up a response, “o-oh yeah, th-thanks!”
Dash and her team cut through the dense crowds of party patrons. It was slow going at times, the group frequently being stopped for photos or autographs, but the prideful pegasus was happy to oblige. Eventually they made their way to the large double doors on the far side of the hall that led to the expansive royal gardens.
Rainbow Dash and her Wonderbolt team entered the green covered gardens, followed shortly by a large crowd that poured out into the expansive fields of green. The double doors connected the big dance hall with a large stony deck that overlooked the colorful gardens that sloped below. Even in the dim light of the night a wide assortment of luscious and exotic flowers could be seen. Neatly trimmed hedge mazes, butterfly gardens, and well kept shrubs and trees populated the lush grounds.
Many ponies gathered near the edge of the stone patio, gawking at the wide range of colorful flowers that could be faintly seen in the moonlight below them. Drinks were served by royal servants and conversations started inside were continued out among the stars. Dash, however, spent less time staring at the royal gardens and instead set her eyes on the night sky above. Her wings tingled at the sight as she grew excited to fly in the cool mountain air.
“Ready, Rainbow Dash?” one of her wing ponies asked, slipping on her goggles.
“Born ready,” Dash quickly responded. She slipped on her own goggles, snapping them into place with an enthusiastic whip. Her wings flapped at her sides, kicking up some dust as she stretched in anticipation. Her team behind her got into formation, a tight and neat V formation behind their leading pony.
And for a moment or two, the group waited. The crowd fell silent as Dash stared up at the sky with a look of determination. Her wings tingled as they splayed out at her sides, the wind tingling the fringes of her feathers. Her flight team posed in a similar way, ready to lift off the ground at a moment's notice.
Finally a fast moving hiss streaked up into the sky, exploding into a plume of red light. That explosion was shortly followed by a series of other explosions, streaking rainbow colors across the sky. The flash of lights enticed the crowd, causing them to applaud as the group of Wonderbolts took to the skies.
Dash led the assent as the V of Wonderbolts shot up into the sky with synchronized wing flaps. Silhouetted by the bursts of colorful fireworks, the group climbed high into the starry night. The crowd below, despite growing larger as the show continued, seemed ever so small from such a height.
Another flash of colorful fireworks signaled the start of their routine. As one unit, the group of pegasi swooped downward, weaving around each other as trails of smoke emitted from behind. An overly rehearsed dance in the sky dazzled the audience below as they applauded the flying pegasi.
Dash led the attack as the group looped and swished through the night sky, leaving behind a thick trail of electrified rain clouds. Such a flashy spectacle pleasantly complimented the bursts of fireworks that filled the sky around them.
Not a single point in their practiced routine was missed. Such an important performance kept the group at their wits as their flight captain led them through aerial twists and turns, flips and loops, and even a couple death defying rolls.
The spectacular show ended with a large scale fireworks display, nearly lighting up the night sky like a second sun made of a rainbow of colors. Rainbow Dash led the group back to the ground, landing gracefully on the stony ground with a harmonized clop. The group remained in formation and did a synchronized bow as the crowds of party goers cheered around them.
A few fireworks exploded behind them, wrapping up the aerial show with a colorful display. Ponies cheered and applauded as the show finished. The crowds began to disperse once the show officially ended, breaking up into smaller groups as they slowly made their way back inside. Dash and her flight team followed the crowds in.
“Great work, guys,” Dash called out, tugging off her goggles with a satisfied grin. “You did some good work out there. You’ve earned the night to yourselves.”
“Thanks boss,” one of the other pegasi called out before the group quickly dispersed. There was still so much of the party yet to be seen and they weren’t going to waste time just standing around.
Dash followed suit, trotting back into the dance hall to join in on the festivities. Crowds slowly moved back into the room to partake in the hors d'oeuvres that spread across long tables against one wall. Chattering continued and dancers returned to the middle to partake in the gentle tunes played by the band.
Dash, on the other hand, had other things on her mind. The physically taxing performance left her fatigued and a bit thirsty, but such a flight had also caused her bladder to fill up quick. Now that the presentation was over with, her bodily needs could finally be managed.
With a growing pressure in her bladder and the ever faint signal of urgency calling from the back of her mind, Dash scanned the room for the bathrooms. They were easy enough to find, located on the other side of the hall with a large sign hanging above the doorways that could be visible from a great distance. Taking a quick sigh of relief, Dash started to walk in that direction.
“Rainbow Dash! Can you pose for some pictures!” a photography pony suddenly appeared, stopping the mare dead in her tracks. A large black camera floated in front of the unicorn photographer as he eagerly waited for Dash’s response.
“O-oh yeah, sure, I can do that,” Dash hastily answered. Just one quick picture, wouldn’t take up much of her time.
“Great!” the unicorn exclaimed before taking a couple steps backwards. He aimed the camera and with a flash or two, he got just what he wanted.
“Glad to be of service,” Dash passively said as she started to try and walk again.
Suddenly she was once again stopped by a group of aristocratic looking ponies who were absolutely amazed by her performance. The fancy ponies showered her with praise and compliments, something that her ego and pride made very difficult to walk away from.
That group melted seamlessly into another group, equally eager to talk to the leader of the Wonderbolt team. They bombarded the pegasus with dozens of questions, asking for autographs or even asking for a photo with her. All of which, Dash could hardly turn down.
The crowd seemed to be endless as walking deeper into the dance hall seemed to attract more gawkers to chat up the pegasus. Her Wonderbolt flight suit certainly didn’t help with hiding her in the crowd of well dressed ponies. She could hardly take two steps before being flagged down by another group, eagerly giving her praise, asking for autographs, or a quick picture.
“Rainbow Dash! Could we trouble you for one more photo?” A team of photographers, each carrying some professional looking lighting equipment slipped in out of nowhere. Standing next to them waited Princess Celestia and Luna dressed in regal clothing fit for the finest royal balls. “Something official for the front page, ya know?”
“F-fine, sure!” Dash cringed as she forced herself to walk up to the group.
The Royal Sisters, along with a few other high public officials, all grouped together with one another. Dash flinched with each step she took towards the group, but she forced herself ever so closer to them. The group shifted around, smiling for the camera that was being set up in front of them. Even Dash, despite the growing pains in her bladder managed to smile. A photo this important couldn’t be passed up.
In Dash’s desperation, it felt like the photography team was taking their time setting up. They casually set up lights, positioning them properly for the perfect shot. Of course to an unrushed pony, they seemed to work at a quickened pace, not wanting to waste the socially elite ponies’ time, but Dash wasn’t unrushed at this point.
Dash fidgeted more and more, growing more desperate as the seconds slowly ticked away. Her legs squeezed together as the diaper underneath her flight suit pushed back a tiny bit. Using the diaper seemed more and more tempting as time went on.
“Alright!” the leading photography pony exclaimed, lifting up an intricate camera apparatus, “smile!”
The group tightened closely to one another as everypony gave the camera their best smile. Dash smile as well, but in that very moment of raising her head to smile, her bladder finally cut loose. Photography lights flashed in front of her as she stood there feeling her diaper fill up with warm urine.
In that particular set of photos, Dash seemed unusually relaxed.
“Thank you for your patience, folks,” the photography pony exclaimed, “this’ll make the paper for sure!”
“Y-yeah...great...” Dash grumbled as her back legs squeezed together a tiny bit. Her diaper was now swollen with urine, a sizable soaking. At least the flight suit, designed with the diapers in mind, kept the swollen padding well hidden and held up tightly against her waist.
Dash dared only a quick glance between her legs as she made sure there were no leaks. The absorbent garment hardly seemed bothered by her bladder’s worth of urine and held true despite the heavy weight. Not a leak could be seen and very little of the diaper’s bulge could be seen through the slick flight suit’s material.
She let out a sigh of relief as chimes of a large clock suddenly sang through the large dance hall. Dinner time. She let out a quiet moan as she reluctantly trailed down towards a nearby dining hall, hoping the diaper was as dry as she had hoped.
Groups of the highest of the social elite were assembled into the separate dining hall. Only a small, exclusive list made it to this meal, but even then the list was at least a hundred of Canterlot’s most prestigious ponies. Among the list were foreign ambassadors and some of the wealthiest ponies in Equestria. Twilight and her friends, being long time friends with the Royal Sisters, of course made the list as well and Dash wasn’t going to miss it for the world.
The long dining hall featured similar decorations as the dance hall, but the main focus of the room was the single dining table that stretched from one end of the room to the other, easily fitting sixty ponies on either side. Highly detailed chandeliers hung from the ceiling as elaborate gold etchings climbed the pillars and walls that bordered the lavish room.
Dash took her seat with her friends, located almost halfway down the left side of the table. Pinkie Pie and Rarity took their place on either side of Dash while the rest sat across from her. Other ponies, dressed in posh suits and elegant dresses sat around her, quietly chattering away.
In front of her sat a silver plate and at least six different types of silverware placed around it. The arrangement was meticulously copied exactly for each guest with a crisply folded cloth napkin placed in the center of the clean, white and gold plate. Little name tags stuck to the back of the chairs marked each spot for each guest, arranged through the combined efforts of at least six party planners.
Dinner was finally served through a wave of servant ponies carrying silver platters topped with polished cloches. The line of ponies carried the heavenly plates of food over to the long table with such efficiency and synchronicity. The dozens of large platters were placed simultaneously on the long table as each one was revealed as the cloches were pulled away.
Plumes of steam wafted off of some of the meals as they were revealed. Freshly steamed vegetables, fresh tossed salads, a wide selection of hays and other foods, and even some exceptional finger foods. Dash could even spot a few more exotic foods like giant gemstones and strange globs of gelatinous goo on the farther parts of the table, but much like the seating arrangements, the selections of food were organized in such a way that a guest’s favorites were an arm's reach away from their spot at the table.
The delicious foods could have easily been feasted upon by the cyan pegasus. The smell of tasty dishes made Dash’s mouth water as she scanned the spread in front of her. However since this was a fancy and formal dinner, she had to show some restraint. Instead of digging straight into the nearest plate of food she could find, Dash had to pause and take polite bites of whatever she neatly populated her dinner plate with. She had to take it slow, steadily working at each bite. Every fiber of her being angrily vibrated as she slowed everything down, but she knew it was the proper thing to do.
Dinner dragged on agonizingly slow as plates of food was slowly brought out by well dressed servant ponies. Wave after wave of dishes were served to the guests as they ate their fill. Dash was quick to take full advantage of the large supply of apple cider that was going around. She would have been a fool not too! Whenever her glass became empty, a servant pony was quick to refill it with a pitcher filled with the stuff. She must have downed a six glasses of the stuff during the meal.
Near the end of the dinner, just around the time food was taken away and replaced by a wide array of desserts, her bladder began to ache, making her instantly regret chugging down so many glasses of delicious apple cider. The heavenly drink was too tempting for the pegasus to pass up and now she was feeling it’s effects in full. Her thighs twisted tightly in hopes to delay the growing urgency that swelled painfully inside her crotch.
She tried to play it cool as she tried to jump into whatever conversation was happening around her. But even that didn’t last long as her bladder continued to twinge with pain, sending her signals of urgency.
Dash quickly weighed her options. She couldn’t just jump up and leave the room. To do so would have been incredibly rude and she’d probably tip some dishes over with a flap of her wings as she attempted to flee the scene. A quick thought suggested that she could just use her diapers like before, but that tiny voice was quickly shot down, there was no way she was going to WILLINGLY wet herself. Those diapers were only for emergencies.
Realizing her fate, Dash twisted her thighs tightly and sat through the pain. She avoided any more cider, despite how delicious the fine drink was. She only nibbled on her dessert of cake and ice cream, hoping that the sweets would keep her mind off of things until the meal was over. She could hardly imagine how much longer she’d be able to hold it.
Finally dinner was completed and guests were slowly chauffeured back into the dance hall. Dash resisted the urge to shove through the public officials and celebrities as her bladder ached. Once dishes were cleaned off the table and the guests started to get up from their seats, Dash was already breaking for the door, her thighs painfully pressed against each other.
She bolted out of the dining hall, her mind locked onto the bathrooms that were so close by. Her eyes locked onto the distant “Bathroom” sign as she began weaving through the crowds, excusing herself as she bumped her way through. Each light collision merited a quick apology as she worked her way closer and closer to the bathrooms.
“Dash!” Soarin’ suddenly appeared out of nowhere, popping up in front of the desperate mare. Dash nearly toppled over herself as she took a surprised step backwards. “Would you care to dance?”
“No thanks,” Dash quickly barked, dipping to the left to dodge the stallion.
But Soarin’ was just as maneuverable, quickly catching up to the weaving mare. He even began trotting alongside the mare as she weaved through the crowd. “Oh come on, please? Just one song and I'll promise I won't bother you about it again.”
“I-I can’t! I need-” but then Dash made the mistake of looking up. Her eyes met with Soarin’ and for that split second she could have sworn glitter twinkled in his eyes. Beautiful, handsome glitter. She took one last glance over Soarin’s shoulder, in the distance she could see the bathroom doors just a quick mad dash away. “I-I guess one dance couldn’t hurt...”
Soarin’s face lit up as he took the mare by the hoof and dragged her out onto the open dance floor. And just in time too, the band had started a new song.
Soarin’ led the pair with surprising grace. The stallion clearly had some dance experience under his belt and glided across the dance floor with Dash in tow. He surprised Dash with his dancing expertise as she tried her best to follow along.
Dash’s moves were unique to say the least. Her body could recall the very sparse dance lessons Rarity gave her in the past to prepare for nights like this. However, those lessons were barely remembered, forcing Dash to fill in the blanks with some of her own moves. Soarin’ didn’t seem to mind and danced with the mare all the same.
All that dancing around did more than just entertaining the growing crowd that circled the pair. Shaking her body and working up a sweat also led to all the liquids she had downed in the evening to work through her system, leading to yet another desperate attempt at holding back her full bladder.
Dash’s dancing became more desperate and fidgety as time went on. Her bladder begged for release and her already wet diaper only teased her with the thought of wetting herself again. Her dance moves lost some of its fluidity as her back legs squeezed together to hold back the growing urge.
As if answering her prayers, the song finally stopped, prompting the spectating crowds to applaud the dancers. The dancers responded in kind by giving the crowd some gracious bows. Soarin’ was no different, forcing Dash to quickly bow as well. The quicker the bow, the quicker she could go to the bathroom.
After the song there was a momentary break, allowing guests to mingle, grab a drink, or feast on the delicious finger foods that populated the buffet table. Dash, however, had one thing on her mind, and her back legs squeezed harder at the very thought of it. The moment the bowing was finished with, Dash quickly pushed herself through the crowd.
“Hey hey! Slow down, Dash!” Soarin’ called out as he followed through the gap in the crowd that the panicked pegasus created.
Dash didn’t say anything in response, too focused on reaching the bathroom to even notice. She weaved through the crowd as quickly as she could, rudely shoving a few as her achy bladder grew more and more full.
“Way to go, Dash!” Pinkie Pie suddenly jumped in the way of the straining Dash, causing the pegasus to reluctantly stop dead in her tracks. The rest of her friends swooped in shortly after, circling the mare with no way of escaping. Soarin’ was also flagged away by friends, getting masculine jabs into his shoulder for a job well done.
“I must say your choice in dance moves were...unique,” Rarity commented, “but I must admit even your impromptu dancing entertained the crowd.”
“Y-yeah great. Glad you liked it,” Dash hastily answered with strain in her voice, “but I really gotta-”
“Hey! You should totally write some of those moves down!” Pinkie exclaimed, “you got a gift!”
“A gift in makin’ things up as you go along, sure, but you gotta gift!” Applejack was sure to add her own thoughts.
“Y-yeah sure right. I'll write them down and whatever. Be right back!” Dash hastily barked out before pushing herself free of the group nearly toppling over Fluttershy as she pushed past.
The group tried to call her back, but in no time at all Dash was far away. Her legs squeezed tightly as she zipped towards the bathrooms.
A long line stretched out the door of the bathroom when she arrived. Too long for her to hold on for. She quickly realized that she’d never make it in time and aptly broke away from the line before it even moves once.
She decided to scurry off to a quiet area to do her buisness, an empty coat room that was being unused during this warm summer month. At least she’d be able to wet herself in relative silence.
Her cheeks flared up as she squatted a tiny bit in the quiet room. Noise from the Gala could only be faintly heard this far back in the area. When her bladder decided to relax, its faint hissing was amplified in the quiet area.
The diaper did its job and soaked up all the urine with it’s thirsty white padding. The fresh liquid was whisked away to drier parts of the garment, keeping Dash’s crotch relatively dry. She could feel the padding swell as the flightsuit kept the padding’s bulge at a minimal. When she finally finished, her bladder was allowed to relax and her diaper now encompassing her entire waist area with the gentle warmth.
Double and triple checking that it didn’t leak anywhere, Dash quickly joined the festivities once more. To the very careful observer, one might have noticed Dash walking with a slightly wider gait during that time of the night, but for most, that little change went completely unnoticed.
The rest of the Gala proceeded with little issue once Dash got her bladder’s needs taken care of. With only a soggy diaper to remind herself of the dirty deed, she was able to mingle and dance and chat up ponies much like how she normally would. Nopony seemed to notice the growing bulge around her waist that now appeared only slightly more obvious now with it’s padding thoroughly soaked. After awhile, Dash grew more confident, realizing that many ponies didn’t seem to even care.
During this time, her large and fancy dinner worked its way through her system rather quickly. The large variety of flavors, exotic foods, and spices all seemed to bulk up quickly, filling Dash up with a new task at hand. After a some time passed, her bowels started signalling quiet pleas.
It was simple enough to put off such a need and stash it to the back of her mind. Dash was far too distracted by the various attractions that the Gala had to offer. She hardly had time to break away from the constant stream of friendly ponies, adoring fans, and the occasional dance from fawning stallions.
By the end of the Grand Galloping Gala, Dash’s bowels were burning with urgency. Her stomach churned and tightened as if to tell her that there’d be no more putting it off now. The Gala was slowly closing up by the time she felt the pressure in her gut.
Ponies were starting to separate and disperse as festivities started to wrap up. Many of them moved out of the castle to local nightclubs or bars to continue their parties well into the night. Servant ponies appeared out of nowhere as the crowds thinned, quickly nabbing whatever trash was on the ground and cleaning up stray balloons and streamers that scattered across the dance floor. The live band finished their last song and began slowly closing up their instruments for the night, signalling the official end to another great Gala.
Dash and her friends were some of the last to leave. Twilight Sparkle was so caught up in chatting up Princess Celestia, that the castle was practically completely abandoned by the time the group officially left the dance hall.
“My parents invited us over for some coffee and doughnuts if you wanna tag along,” Twilight told the group as the six ponies slowly moved away from the party.
“Sounds lovely!” Rarity smiled, her dress and mane kept as clean and pristine as it was at the beginning of the Gala. Great lengths were taken to avoid any stains or misplaced hairs.
“Sounds nice,” Fluttershy quietly added, her body achy from standing around all night. A quiet gathering at Twilight’s parent’s house sounded like just what she needed.
“Sounds super duper extra fun!” Pinkie bounced. Even after a night of partying and dancing and chowing down on sugary sweets, the pink pony still vibrated with energy.
Dash hesitated for a moment as her stomach churned again, causing her to flinch. Her diaper felt clammy around her waist as a night’s worth of sweat stuck the urine soaked garment against her crotch. Before she did anything else, she would have to change. “I-I don’t know. Maybe I should just head on home and rest,” she told her friends, “it’s been a long day being Wonderbolt’s best flier you know.”
Applejack playfully rolled her eyes. “Oh yeah, sure,” she chuckled, “probably wiped yourself out from all those autographs.”
“Y-yeah, so I should probably just go and rest,” Dash answered, masking her gut pressure with cocky smirks. “you guys can go on without me.”
“Are you sure?” Fluttershy meekly asked.
“D-definitely,” Dash answered back, flinching a tiny bit, “d-don’t worry about me. Just go on and enjoy those doughnuts.”
Her friends agreed and eventually left the room as a group. Dash remained frozen in place the whole time, waving farewell as the other ponies slowly walked out of the room. Once they were out of sight however, she quickly zipped out of the area. She made a mad dash for the bathrooms, a place that she expected would have little to no line now that the Gala was over with.
As if answering her prayers, she saw the bathrooms were completely void of any lines. There weren’t even any ponies hovering around the area, she was home-free. She gave the bathroom door a good tug, only to find it resist with a metal shunk. Locked. She gave it another tug just to be sure. Still locked.
“Oh come on!” Dash exclaimed, scowling at the little ‘Mares’ sign that hung on the door. Not ten minutes after the party and they locked everything up? She huffed, flinching as another stomach pain prodded her gut. Her stomach gurgled and churned, causing the pegasus to cringe in pain. She wouldn’t be able to hold it for long.
She sighed as her mind quickly made a decision she wasn’t all that enthusiastic about. Much like before, Dash scurried her way back into the coat room. It felt like she was visiting this area quite a bit this evening.
She slipped into a dark corner of the coat room, leaning against a firm wall as her back legs spread out in a squatting position. Metal hangers hung above her as she squatted and closed her eyes. She tried to block out the quiet noises around her and the sensations of the unfamiliar area. It took a lot of mental preparation for the diapered pegasus to even consider soiling herself in public.
Things were made a little easier with a little self-reassurance. Dash convinced herself that it’d be very unlikely that she’d get caught, especially since the place was all but abandoned at this point. The only sound of activity that could be heard was the distant clattering of chairs being stacked and banquet tables being packed away. All of it a very fair distance away from where Dash was hiding. That seemed to help a lot.
After some pause, Dash finally felt her bowels obey her commands and empty into the soggy diaper inside her flightsuit. The suit bulged out a tiny bit as the diaper underneath caught her big mess as it entered the fluffy interior. She grunted quietly as lumpy bulges filled up the diaper, quickly becoming pancaked as they were squished by the tight fitting suit.
It took quite a bit of effort, especially as the flight suit began fighting back with its own tight resistance, but eventually Rainbow Dash finished with a satisfied sigh. She let out another sigh, as she craned her neck backwards to survey the damage. The smelly mess inside could hardly be made out through the slick clothing, giving Dash some comfort in knowing she was less likely to being caught.

She took in a deep breath before stepping out of the coat room. The dance hall was all but abandoned at this point, making the area unusually quiet. Every hoofstep she made echoed off the tall marble walls. Not a pony in sight save for the royal servants who cleaned up the area and stacked up chairs.
Dash kept her head low to not draw attention to herself. The ever faint crinkling from her diaper could be heard from her tight fitting flight suit. Just get home and change. She had made her way through most of the dance hall’s length without issue.
“Dash!” an all too familiar voice called out from behind, causing Dash to flinch. Slowly turning around she noticed a well dressed Soarin’ running her way. He looked just as handsome as she left him after their little dance, save for a few loose strands of hair and the faint look of exhaustion.
“O-oh hey..You're still here,” Dash commented, forcing her best smile.
“I always help with putting away the banquet seats. I'm surprised you stuck around. Thought you'd cut all this freu freu stuff the moment you could.”
“Yeah, I had some...business stuff to fill out,” Dash held back the urge to blush.
“Well if you're done with your work I was thinking maybe you'd want to come over to my place?”
“Y-your place?” Dash nearly choked on her words.
“Yeah, figured we could hang or eat something, or I dunno, maybe...you know...”
Dash’s ears and wings perked up at the suggestion. “I-I couldn’t!” She quickly exclaimed but immediately back pedaled, “I mean...it’s so sudden. I’m not sure if I could...”
“We could just hang. I’m not forcing you to do anything,” Soarin’ didn’t seem entirely his usual confident self. He started to back pedal a tiny bit, “if you’re busy with paperwork or something, you don’t have to come.”
“No no, it’s not that. It’s just...” Dash glanced back at her rear legs for a brief second. Would she really let a messy diaper get in the way of the opportunity she had been waiting years for? “I-I’d love to.”
A big smile grew on Soarin’s face, “great! Then let’s go!”
Dash gasped as she was tugged by the hoof out of the dance hall. She scrambled to keep up with the excitable stallion as her legs splayed out wide to cope with the swollen padding beneath her flightsuit. At least moving this fast masked the smell that would eventually seep out of the layers of fabric, no amount of tight fitting flight suit would prevent that from happening over time. The crinkling was manageable, amplified a tiny bit by the hasty running, but kept under control by the vigilant Dash who worked her stride in a way that it wouldn’t compress the crinkly padding as much.
Upon leaving Canterlot Castle, Dash and Soarin’ took to the skies. Soarin’ led the way back to Cloudsdale as Dash scrambled to keep up. The unusual heavy load in her diaper threw her off balance a tiny bit, requiring a little bit of adjustments in her flight routine.
The cool air nibbled at the two ponies’ wings as they flapped and glided through the air. The night was clear and as star filled as it was during the Gala. The nightly air was quiet and still, greatly in contrast with the buzzing activity at the party.
Canterlot slowly faded into the distance as the two arrived at Cloudsdale. Soarin’s home was a humble apartment found in the outer rim of downtown Cloudsdale. A quiet part of town at this hour, but still buzzed with the nightlife that leaked out of the center of the city.
The apartment was a small place, large enough to comfortably house the bachelor pegasus. It’s living room, kitchen, and dining area all took up the same area, separated by waist high walls or changes in flooring. The dining area could comfortably seat four ponies around it’s square table and the couch in the living room seemed large enough to seat more then that in front of the large TV that hugged the far wall.
The main attraction here was the master bedroom, to which both ponies seemed naturally attracted to. The room featured a large, king sized bed with a connected bathroom against the left wall.
“So uhm, this is my bedroom,” Soarin’ blatantly stated as he pulled off his dress clothes and stashed them on hangers in the closet, “but we don’t have to hang around in here if you don’t want to. We can chill in the living room or something.”
Once he was fully undressed, Soarin’ was suddenly startled by a quick kiss on the lips from Dash. Dash sighed with relief as she pulled herself off the bed. She handled the task delicately, making sure not to squish her mess any more than necessary. “Alright, I’m back!” Soarin’ called out as he entered the room. He held two tall wine glasses, both topped off with a richly red liquid. Tucked under a wing rested a bottle of wine, freshly corked and ready to be enjoyed. “I was gonna grab like water or something, but then I remember I had this fancy wine and figured...” He looked up as he finished his sentence, but found his words fizzling into nothing as he laid eyes on the lounging pegasus.
Dash laid on her side across the springy mattress in front of the stallion. Her freshly washed mane neatly combed and naturally settling on her head with gentle waves in it’s rainbow color. She was afraid Soarin’ would have dropped the wine from the shock.
“U-uhm, y-you look...so...” Soarin’ gulped heavily, his wings stiffening up behind him. The wine glasses clattering with each other as his hooves shook. “Wow...”
Dash smirked at the ruffled stallion. Mission accomplished. “Y’know, I am awfully thirsty...” She grinned at Soarin’ who slowly recomposed himself.
That seemed to snap him out of it. “O-oh y-yeah! Sure sure,” Soarin’ called out as he climbed into bed without spilling a drop. He handed one of the wine glasses to Dash and held his own up in the air for a toast. “Here’s to a good night!” he called as he clinked his glass with Dash’s and took a healthy sip of wine.
“A great night,” Dash corrected with a smirk. She clinked her own glass before chugging down the wine, much to Soarin’s surprise.
Soarin’ gulped audibly as he watched Rainbow Dash down the glass of wine. His wings stiffened to their full length as his stallionhood began to throb. “W-wow...”
