It all started like any normal day would, Pinkie was off making cupcakes, Twilight was reading, Spike was putting books away that Twilight discarded after reading, Rainbow Dash was sneaking around flying quickly around clouds to spy on The Wonder Bolts, Rarity was designing new dresses, Apple Jack was bucking apples with her brother, and last but certainly not least, Fluttershy was out with Angel checking on all of the little critters.
Fluttershy had asked Rainbow Dash to meet her by the creek at three and help round up all the little critters to get them to their dens before the big rainstorm. Dash agreed but quickly wished she hadn't--she hated helping with the critters, they were so annoying!
"Fluttershy, why do we have to do this? Can't the animals get inside before the rainstorm by themselves?" asked Rainbow
"No silly, we still have to check on them to make sure they're all safe and sound," Fluttershy said with a smile on her face.
"Great," said Rainbow Dash frowning.
By 5:30 they were done and flying through the sky making sure they got every little animal. Once they were sure they had they gotten every single one, Fluttershy said goodbye and goodnight to Rainbow and went home.
"Hmmm Dash didn't seem to be in a very good mood, I hope everything is alright," said Fluttershy.
Rainbow and some of the other Pegasi started working on moving the clouds for the big rainstorm, but suddenly there was huge gusts of wind and some the pegasi got blown down, while struggling to get back up the rainstorm began and there was extremely violent thunder and lightning.
"CALLING ALL PEGASI! CALLING ALL PEGASI!" was heard over the loudspeakers in Cloudsdale "PLEASE REPORT TO HELP GET THE STORM UNDER CONTROL."
"Oh no," sighed Fluttershy, "I hope Dashie is okay." She took off flying as fast as she possibly could.
Rainbow Dash was frantic to get the storm under control, so frantic that she slammed into a wall. Somewhere in the midst Rainbow Dash got struck by lightning.
Fluttershy was searching high and low in the middle of all the chaos "Dashie! Dashie!" she called "Where are you?"
Rainbow Dash fell for a long time, nobody was around when she hit the ground and she was unconscious for many hours but finally Fluttershy was flying through looking for her animal friends after the storm and stumbled across Rainbow.
"Ugh what happened?" asked Dash.
"You fell and I have been searching for you for hours and while I was looking for all of the critters I found you and your wings they...they got cut very badly and you need to go to the hospital right away, climb on my back and I'll fly you there."
"How bad is it Fluttershy?"
"Dashie, I'm not sure, that's why we’re going to the hospital...don't freak out or anything but I dunno if you'll ever be able to fly again, but I'm not entirely sure.."
"WHAT?! How can you tell...I can't feel them, what do they look like?"
"Dashie, calm down,I'm taking you to the hospital and once you're safe and sound with the doctors I'll go and let the others know."
Then they finally arrive at the hospital.
"HELP! Her wings are very badly injured and she needs care right away!"
The doctors came in quickly and took Rainbow away on a bed.
"Dashie, I'm gonna go find the others and tell them what happened, alright?"
"NO! Fluttershy! Don't leave me!"
"I'll be right back, I'm sorry Dashie..."
"Fluttershy! PLEASE! I need you! PLEASE!"
"Dashie...I've got to go tell them" she says as she stretches out her wings "You'll be fine, I promise."
And she flew off to go find the others.
