My name was Hogarth, yah like in the Iron Giant. I well, how do I put this, I woken up as Princess Cadence, and that in not the worst part, it is ten years in the past and which I have little knowledge of. all that I know from the Cadence from before the show is that she used to be a pegisus and that she met shining in school.

Things are going to be different very different.

Awakening (Rewritten)

The world is dark around me as I feel this painful throbbing in my head. I let out a a humm that sounded more high pitched and feminine than my original voice. I then hear several muffled voices voices in the room. I attempt to open my eyes to only be met with painful, bright light. I quickly shut them out of reflex. Then I feel something placed on my chest, I don't know what it is, but it feels nice. I attempt to ask who ever is doing that to stop, but all that comes out is "Mmm...." Then I realize something, these voices sound very, oddly familiar, Especially mine. My voice froma children's TV show that I always watch , but I play it off as my imagination. 'there is no way I can be the princess of love..'

"Cadence. Just rest.. you took a nasty blow to the head." I feel the strange thing move from my midsection 'Wait.. what, no that can't be Sunbutt' I think as I crack open my eyes to be met with a shocking sight, the slightly blurry sight of the highly recognizable silhouette of the princess of the sun "Holy fuck!?!? What the fuck, how!?" I say in shock taking Celestia by surprise and confusion as she never heard her neise curse that much. I push the blankes up to be met by cadence's slim pink hot alicorn body. 'holy fuck, I'm Cadence!' I hyperventilate freaking out.

"Hey, cadence, calm down please, do you remember anything that happened too you?" Celestia asks me as I try to calm down 'Shoud I say what i remember happening to me or ask what happened to cadence.'I mentally ask myself but ultimately deside to play it safe "Um no." I say

"Oh, well you were at a event to name a newly built, well being built orphanage after you but one of the crane hooks got cought on a I beam, but when it came loose it came swinging towards you, hitting you in the head, putting you in critical condition. We thought we lost you." Celestia says hugging me and backs off "You died once for a few minutes but doctors revived you." 'Wait!? The actual Cadence is dead and I'm her now!? God why? I'm not mad but why?' I ask myself and God himself but then think 'Wait... If I'm Cadence... Ohh things will be different' I think of all the things I can do but I feel a hoof tap me on the shoulder "Cadence, you ok? You were in responsive for a sec wording me." Celestia asks slightly worried about me.

"Yah... I uhh was thinking of something." I say as I stair at Celestia then at the calendar behind her shocked 'Ten years, Ten years before the initial show, oh god..' but then I look over at a photo of filly twilight and her family 'Wait, my family....' I think as I feel tears welling up but I suck them up and deside to do something confusing and yell "I am Hogarth!" I randomly yell my real name Causing Celestia to glare at me

"Cadence, you sure your ok?" She asks me even more worried about my mental health as a smug smerk comes over my face

"You shall not know who you talk to, I am a God of Feces and Candy Canes! I shall banish you to the realm of... Uhh.. flying.. uhh no.. of rabbits!!" I look at Celestia who looks at me now completely confused

"Cadence..." Is all the troll of a princess can say in this moment due to the sheer confusion she's undergoing in this very moment. "I think you should rest..." Celestia says as she stands up but I once again.

"Hey auntie Sunbutt, can you come here, I need to tell you something." I start to giggle but she just sighs and looks at me

"No cadence.. I think I'll let you be for a few hours. I'll check in you after I take my short break and finish my meeting with the griffin diplomat." She turns around and exits the room leaving me alone with me myself and I..

'So...' I just think to myself not knowing what to do, being alone in a forgin body, so I just decide to try and get out of bed to experiment with 'my' new body, so I do just that, pushing myself out of the hospital bed and placing my hind legs down on the cold acrilic floor sending a chill up my spine "Jesus fuck that's cold." I say to no one (Nopony) in particular and lean forward to get to all fours, but as soon as I did that I fall flat on my face. "Grhhh... Fuck! That hurts!" I yell as I bring my hooves to my nose to feel a worm wetness coming from it and I remove my left hoof from it to see there is indeed some blood "Grate I can bairly walk.. and faceplate into the damn floor, good job me.." I say sarcastically to myself just as the doors open to reveal a dark blue Thresal mare dressed in a nurses uniform and I can tell you she was hot, but noes not the time for that

"Princess, what are you doing out of bed!? You were in a coma for almost 5 months your body is kinda weak." She says shocked then freezes at the crookedness of my nose "You see what you did, you broke the cartilage in your nose.." she says with a sigh. "Let's get you back up and in ." She comes over to assist in that matter which takes way longer than it should "Princess, just stay in bed for now, you still need healing. I advise you sleep."

I sigh and say like a whiny five year old "But I had to use the bathroom." Causing her to roll her eyes secretary to this which I totally seen.

"Get better princess." She says to me as she exits the room leaving me with no company and a whole lotta nothing.

"Soooo... boaring." I say and then take the nurses advice to just sleep. I lay my head back into the cushie pellow and grab my blankets covering myself up and lay there until I drift away into dreamland.
