At Wonderbolt Headquarters, some of the Wonderbolts are ready to go to the their vacation because they were promised to go on vacation by Spitfire. Also, Spitfire just felt that they should have a vacation because they were practicing and training a lot for shows. Spitfire told them that they could have a vacation for only two weeks but, she also said that only Fleetfoot, Soarin and Rainbow Dash have to stay. "Aww, come on Spitty why can't we go on a vacation too?" said Soarin. He really sad and he wanted to go see his parents. Also, he was really tired of training. "Because, Soarin we have to practice for a performance that we have in Canterlot and you didn't finished replying to all of your fan mail. Also, we have to be in Canterlot next week Thursday and don't ever call me Spitty." said Spitfire and after, she was talking to Soarin. Fleetfoot started talking about why she couldn't go too but, Spitfire gave her the same response. Spitfire went into her office and started to do some paper work. Soarin and Fleetfoot decided to do the same and went in there offices. Rainbow Dash was okay that she had to stay and she can't wait to perform in Canterlot but, she has to write a letter to her friends that she can't come to Ponyville. She flew and went into her bedroom which, is basically everyone's bedroom. She grabbed her suit case from under her bed and toke out an empty envelope. Also, a pencil , a piece of paper and she started to right. Dear Pinkie Pie, I know that you get your mail quickly and read quickly so, I decided to mail this to you. Anyways, I can't come to Ponyville this week for Angel's birthday party because Spitfire wants me to perform in Canterlot. Tell Fluttershy that I have a gift for Angel and tell her that it is in my house. In my bedroom and under my bed so, tell her to get it okay. Also, I'm sorry that I can't help you bake a cake for Angel's party. I know that Pinkie promise you but, Spitfire told me today that I need to stay. I hope you can forgive me and I know how you get when, someone Pinkie promise you. At least I have a present for the birthday bunny and I will buy Rarity a birthday present. I know that her birthday is next week on Tuesday and I have to be at Canterlot Thursday. Since, today is Monday I will go out and buy her something and I will mail it to you. Don't show it to anyone and hide it where no one can find it or see it. I Pinkie promise that I will be there for Rarity's birthday party and I can't wait to see what you are going to do. Tell Twilight that I have the new Daring Do book for her and I got it signed from A.K Yearling yesterday. When, I invited her to come and see Wonderbolt Headquarters. She gave me the book and I was shocked. I read the whole book yesterday after, she left. I already read it and I want Twilight to read it too. The book is not even out yet until, next week. I will deliver the book to you so, you can give it to Twilight. Say hi to everyone for me okay and tell them about this letter but except the part that I will get Rarity her present. Sincerely, Rainbow Dash P.S Tell Fluttershy to take care of Tank for me this week and next week. When she finished writing her letter, she went to Spitfire office and knocked on the door. "Come in, so what do you want to talk to me about Crash? " said Spitfire. "Well ma'am, can I get out of the compound just, for a few minutes. I need to deliver a book and a letter to my friends." Spitfire thought for a moment and started to talking. "Okay, you can go Crash but, I don't want you to go alone. You can go with Soarin since, he only has fan mail to do. Okay?" "Umm...okay then? I guess." "Okay, follow me." Spitfire and Rainbow Dash got out of her office. Rainbow Dash thought to herself "Why doesn't Spitfire want me to go alone? Does she not trust me enough? I always went alone but, why is this any different?" When she finished thinking, she saw the door to Soarin's office and Spitfire knocked the door. They waited until, they heard Soarin talk. "Come in. Hey Spitfire and hey Rainbow Dash. What brings you two here today?" he said. "Well, Clipper I need you to go with Crash to deliver some things since, you don't have anything important to do." "Okay, let's go Rainbow Dash!" He said flying out of his office. Rainbow Dash caught up with him and both Wonderbolts left the compound. [hr When both pegasi left, Spitfire was about to go to her office until, Fleetfoot started to talk to her and she stopped. "So, you let Soarin and Rainbow Dash go together." Fleetfoot smirked at Spitfire and Spitfire was about to leave but, Fleetfoot blocked her path. Spitfire knows how Fleetfoot is and how she always wants a response. "Yeah, I did so, what's your point?" Spitfire knows that her best friend Soarin has a crush on Rainbow Dash and doesn't want Fleetfoot to know. "Come on, Spitfire. Don't act dumb tell me why they went together? And I know that I didn't have anything important to do instead of responding to fan mail." Spitfire was shocked that Fleetfoot heard her say that. Also, she didn't have a choice so, she decided to tell Fleetfoot. "Fleetfoot, I will tell you why but, don't tell any pony else what I am going to tell you now okay?" "Okay! Okay! Okay! I promise that I will not tell any pony else now please, tell me." "Alright, then...so, Soarin has a big crush on Rainbow Dash since, she got expected to the Wonderbolts." "Oh....my....GOD! I can't believe it! They would make such a cute couple!" Fleetfoot said while jumping up and down. Then, she had an idea of how she can get Soarin and Rainbow Dash together but, she wouldn't tell Spitfire. Spitfire always disagrees with her idea's and she would probably say "You can't do that" or "Let's not help them out". She was thinking a lot that she, forgot that she was talking Spitfire. "Hey Spitfire! Don't you think that they make a cute couple?" Fleetfoot said breaking the silence between each other. "They sure do Fleetfoot. Anyways, I need to go back finishing some paper work. Also, be outside in twenty minutes okay?" "Okay!" said Fleetfoot and she went into her office. To plan on how to get Soarin and Rainbow Dash together? Author's Note This is my first story and I don't want people saying that it sucks. Anyways, I will post more chapters to this story 2 times or 3 times a week. Also, King Sombra will probably be mentioned in Chapter 3 or 4 but, for now I will make Soarin and Rainbow Dash be together. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 Chapter 2 Both Wonderbolts were quiet and didn’t say one word to each other until, Soarin started to talk. “Hey, Rainbow Dash who are you sending that letter and book too? He said breaking the silence between them. Soarin didn’t want Rainbow Dash to be bored of him. She stopped and grabbed the letter and the book out of her saddle bag. “Well, I’m sending this letter to Pinkie and also, this book. I really need to get these two things to a mailbox fast.” When, Soarin saw the book he was shocked. Soarin thought to himself “How did she get the new book of Daring Do? I really want to read it. I wonder if she is a fan of Daring Do?”When, he finished thinking to himself. He started to talk. “Hey, Dashie! Are you a fan of Daring Do?” Rainbow Dash was surprised that he called her by her nickname. She is only used to Pinkie and her mom calling her that. Rainbow Dash blushed and turned her head away because she didn’t want Soarin to see her like that. She has a secret that she always kept to herself. Rainbow Dash never told anypony. Not even Fluttershy and Fluttershy was her friend ever since, they were fillies. Her secret was that she has a crush on soarin since, the Grand Galloping Gala. Rainbow Dash gets nervous to tell him that she loves him but, she is afraid that he will reject her. She thought to herself “Why can’t I tell him how I feel about him? I always have dreams about him with me. I like him a lot! No, I mean I love him! I love him so, much and I really want to know if he loves me back or not. I don’t want to ruin our friendship that we have together.” When, she finished thinking to herself. It took five minutes. She saw Soarin looking at her. “ Did I really take that long thinking about my feeling.” Rainbow Dash stared at the ground for a few minutes and then, she started to talk to Soarin. “Yes, I am a fan of Daring Do and I am really close friend of A.K Yearling.”She signed and started to fly a little bit faster. Rainbow Dash was worried that he will ask her a question like “ What took you so, long to respond to my question?”. Soarin saw her and see’s that she looks worried over something. “Hey, Dashie! Are you okay? You seem worried.” “ Uhhh….of course not! I’m not worried Soarin. Rainbow Danger Dash never ever gets---” She was caught off by Soarin’s hoof on her mouth. “ Dashie, I know that you are worried over something and you are really bad at lying you know. Also, you can tell me what’s bothering you if you want to. I can keep secrets really good you know.” Rainbow stood quiet for a few minutes and decided to tell him. “ No matter what he says, I will be okay.” “ Soarin, I ….I...uh.. love...you. Ever since, when I rescued your apple pie at the Grand Galloping Gala and I was afraid that you wouldn’t like me back but, I will be okay if you say no to---..” Rainbow Dash couldn’t finish her sentence because Soarin kissed her. She was shocked at first but, she kissed back. There kiss lasted for a few minutes until, Soarin broke the kiss. “ Dashie, I love you too. I wanted to tell you today but, you told me first. I was really happy when, you said “I love you” to me. Also, I couldn’t help myself. I always wanted to kiss you. The things that I love about you dashie is that you’re the most amazing flyer in all of a Equestria, your mane is so, beautiful, those magenta eyes are so stunning. Whenever, I see your eyes. I see the most beautiful mare in all of a Equestria and that mare is you Dashie. I love you a lot that I will never break your heart. There is no other mare that can compete the beauty that you have Dashie.” Rainbow Dash was so, happy that he loves her back and that he said all of that to her. She hugged him and he hugged her back. He put his head on top of her’s and he stroked her mane with his hoof. They hugged each other for a couple of minutes until, Rainbow Dash stopped hugging him. “Soarin, I love you a lot. Whenever, I see you or talk to you. I start to get butterflies in my stomach. When, I see your emerald eyes. I see the most handsome stallion, I ever known. Also, there is no other stallion, I rather be with then, you.” Soarin felt that he was the happiest stallion to have a awesome mare. He leaned in for another kiss and Rainbow accepted it but, what they didn’t know is that some ponies are spying of them. “ How adorable they are together. Too bad that there happiness will end tomorrow. It’s a good thing that Spitfire gave some Wonderbolts a vacation. It made our job easier don’t you think Stratus? “Oh of course Nightshade and our King can’t wait for tomorrow’s event. Also, we have to report this to him. He will like to know about her and what she is. ” Both Shadowbolts share an evil laugh. Nightshade and Stratus were hiding behind a huge cloud far away from the love birds. They both had binoculars to see from far away. They didn’t want Soarin and Rainbow Dash to hear them. Both love birds kept on kissing but, this time passionately. They both were on a cloud and Rainbow Dash was on top of Soarin. There kiss lasted of a few minutes until, Rainbow Dash stopped kissing him. “ Hey, Soarin. I guess that you are my coltfriend now huh?” “Yeah and you are my marefriend” He was about to lean for another kiss but, rainbow dash put her hoof on his mouth. “ We need to mail my letter and my book remember?” “ Oh yeah, I just forgot. I was just distracted by my beautiful marefriend” He said smirking at Rainbow Dash.She heard him and blushed crimson red. They were flying for a few minutes. Soarin saw a mailbox and he grabbed Rainbow’s hoof and started to fly fast. Rainbow Dash was shocked at first but, then saw why he grabbed her hoof and started to fly fast. “ Wow! I am impressed that you saw the mailbox first then, me.” She said grabbing the letter and the book from her saddle bag. She put them in the mailbox and gave Soarin a quick kiss on his cheek. He blushed and grabbed Rainbow’s hoof again. “ We have to go back to Wonderbolt Headquarters.” “Okay, Soar but, you know that can fly right?” “Yeah, I know Dashie but, I just like grabbing for hoof.” “Aww just get too sappy with me okay?” “Hey, you were sappy yourself. You know?” “ Not as much as you were” “ I know Dashie and I meant every word of it . ” He pulled Rainbow Dash into him and hugged her.She hugged him back. Rainbow didn’t want to let go but, she had to. “ Hey, Soar. Let’s go now before Spitfire does something to us.” “Okay Dashie.” Both Pegasi flew quickly to Wonderbolt Headquarters together.
