Later...

Celestia and Luna had been helping Discord entertain the other guests for almost an hour by now. The Sisters were now serving refreshment to everypony. Celestia was passing out small bowls of ice cream, having used magic to give each serving its own surprise flavor. Luna was serving fruit punch, having used her magic enhance the flavor by 10x, giving it some extra punch. Everypony in the crowd got a good laugh when ever someone got a bowl or a drink that made them gag. Overall, all the guests were enjoying themselves, thanks to Celestia and Luna.

Discord watch as the Royal Sisters continued mingling with everyone. Having just gotten done playing a one-person-band for some other guests. he was feeling rather proud of his new partners in crime. Everyone present was enjoying Discord's brand of humor for once. Nopony even seemed to mind the outlandish outfits he put the princesses in. And he was being sure to take plenty of pictures for his scrap book.
As Discord continued watching from the side of the room, Fancy Pants came walking over to him. He seemed to have a troubled look on his face. Discord turned his attention to his host.

Fancy Pants said "Um...Discord, old boy. I have a bit of a problem, and I was hoping you would be willing to help."

Hearing this, Discord said "Really? Oh my, do tell. What can I do for you?"

Fancy Pants said "Well, you see, we have a children's section tonight, where all the little tykes can play while their parent are here. It's in the VIP section." And Fancy pointed to other side of the ballroom, at section with rope dividers and a number of dining tables behind it.

Fancy Pants continued "All the children tonight are little fillies, school aged. We try to give these children a place are they can enjoy the party with others their own age. But it seems that none of them are having a good time. They've all started to complain that this party is just too boring for, that the adults are hogging all the fun."

Upon hearing this, Discord knew what was being asked of him. He said "I get it! You want me to go over there and bring them some of the fun, don't you?"

Fancy Pants replied "Would you ,please? I would be ever so thankful."

Discord gave a smile and said "Don't you worry, I have just the thing!". Discord the snapped his tail and disappeared in a flash.

A moment later, Discord reappeared in the crowd, right next to Celestia. This took some of the guests by surprise, but not Celestia, who kept herself and her tray of ice cream bowls steady.

Discord turned to the princess and said "Celestia, I need your help for a bit, please.

Celestia instantly replied "Of course, Discord. Anything you want!"

Discord said "I've been asked to entertain the kids at this party. And I need you for what I have planned. I'm sure the fillies would love getting to meet one of the princesses. You game?"

Celestia replied "You bet! I'll do whatever you want of me."

Discord smirked and said "I was hoping you'd say that."

With that, Discord snapped his tail again, and they disappeared. A few moments later, They reappear in the VIP section, in the middle of all tables. There were at least 20 fillies there at the time. And Discord could tell, by the looks on their faces, that they weren't having a good time.
But when Discord and Celestia appeared out of nowhere, all the fillies looks turned to surprise. Many of them had heard about Discord, but never seen him. And every one of them had always wanted to meet Celestia.

One filly stood up from her seat and said "WOW! It's Princess Celestia! And Discord?"

Discord took a bow and said "Greetings, little fillies. It is I, the one and only, Discord, former master of chaos, now master of fun. Me and my assistant, the lovely Princess Celestia herself, are here for your enjoyment."

Another filly got up and said "Are you two for real?! Oh, my gosh! And your both here for all of us?"

Celestia stepped forward and said "That's right. We heard you girls were bored, so we came right over to cheer you up."

Another filly stood up and said "Really? What are you going to do? Will it be good?"

Discord said "It will be the best! We're going to put on a little show for you. A puppet show. I'll be the director, and Celestia here will be the puppet."

"Doesn't that sound fun? I'm looking forward to it!" followed Celestia.

One of the fillies grew confused and asked "How will that work?". And several other fillies wondered the same thing.

Discord gave knowing smile and said "Watch and learn!"

With that, all the fillies got out of their seats, and gathered around the duo.
Discord then turned to Celestia and put one of his claws on her forehead. A small spark of magic followed, spirals of colors appeared in her eyes and Celestia fell into a trance. In this state, she started to drool a little

One of the fillies commented "OOOO... Her eyes have pretty colors!"

Another said "Ha,ha,ha! She looks funny like that!"

Discord then snapped his fingers. In a flash of magic, Celestia's rabbit suit disappeared, but her main and tail remained pink. They looked as if they even got fluffier. Then, a couple of wooden crosses appeard in Discord's paws. They looked like standard puppet controllers, but without strings. He then walked behind the Celestia.
Discord raise the controllers in the air, and they glowed slightly. Suddenly, the drooling, spellbound princess seem to spring back to her senses. Celestia stood upright, with proper composer, but the spirals of colors remained in her eyes.

Still in her trance, Celestia walked toward the fillies when Discord moved the controllers. She said "Hello, my little ponies. How are you this evening?" while Discord was moving his own lips.

One of the fillies gasped and said "Whoa! Discord is moving his lips, but the princess is the one talking. How are you doing that?"

Discord open his mouth, but Celestia talked again, saying "Discord is using me as a magic puppet for the show. He'll be controlling my movement. And whatever he tries to say, I'll say instead. Pretty neat, right?"

One of the fillies gave a look of awe and said "Wow! That's amazing!"

Discord said through Celestia "I know, right? Your very own pretty princess, with all the wit and humor of Discord. But while I'm like this, I'm not Princess Celestia."

Another filly ask "Really? The who are you?"

Celestia stod up straight and announced "I'm Princess Cotton Candy! Ruler of sweet treats. And I have a mane and tail made of an unlimited supply of cotton candy."

Several of the fillies grasp, then one stepped forward and skeptically said "Really? That can't true."

Princess Cotton Candy replied "Oh, but it is. And your all welcome to try some if you want."

With that, on Discords commands, Cotton Candy lit her horn. Several white paper cones appeared, floating in a golden aura. The doubtful filly took the offer and grabbed one the comes in her mouth. And walked over to the puppet princess.
Cotton Candy lowered her pink, flowing mane to the filly. The young girl ran the cone through her mane. A moment later, she pulled it out and, surprisingly, a large pink glob came out on it. The filly sat back on her haunches and grabbed the cone in her hooves. She then took a mouthful of the pink glob.

A few seconds later, she swallowed and her face lit up. She said "Yum! Hey everypony! She's right, it really is cotton candy."

With that, each one of the other fillies grabbed one of the cones. Cotton Candy made enough appear for everyone. Every little filly took a crone and ran it through the princess' mane or tail. But no matter how much they took, Cotton Candy's hair remained the same length. After taking their share, they each dug into the pink sweet treat. And continued enjoying it for the next few minutes.
Seeing his handy work, Discord couldn't help but smile. He really was making the kids happy. Plus me he was getting a kick out of controlling Celestia like a puppet, it really suited her. He would have to do this more often. But he wasn't done here yet. The best part of the show was still to come.
After a few minutes, all the fillies had finished up their cotton candy. Princess Cotton Candy made all the empty cones disappear. Then the fillies gathered around her to see what was next.

Cotton Candy said "Did you enjoy that treat?"

All the fillies said "Yes!" in unison.

Cotton Candy said "Good! Because the best part is next. I have a game you all. And I'm sure you'll all love it."

One of the fillies asked "What is it?"

Cotton Candy replied "Well, how many of you like dressing up like and playing princess?"

Several of the fillies said "Oh! Oh! Oh! I do!"

Cotton Candy said "That's great. But how would you all like to dress up and play with a REAL princess?"

Another filly asked "What do you mean?"

In response, Cotton Candy lit her horn. A large trunk appeared out of thin air in her magical grasp. She set it down on the floor and opened it. Inside it was a whole pile of clothes, all of which were in the Princess' size.

Cotton Candy said "We're going to play "Princess Dress-Up". You all get to dress me up how ever you want and play whatever games you want with me. I'll do whatever you tell me, and you'll get to play with a real princess."

One of the fillies said "You mean we get play a REAL princes like she a doll?"

Another said "I've never done that before. It sounds like fun!"

Yet another filly said "I want to try it!"

And with that, all the little girls scrambled over to the trunk. They rummaged through its contents, trying to find something they all agreed on. Whatever it was they chose, they wanted it to be something fun.
Discord couldn't help but wonder what the fillies had in store for Celestia. He had put her in the hooves of little girls, to do with as they please. In any case, he expected it to be a laugh riot. Discord snapped his tail, making a camera appear beside him. He was going to take many pictures as possible. Souvenir pictures for the kids. And even more for his scrap book.

While looking through the trunk, one filly, named Sweet Tea, said "Hey girls, should we put her in a dress?"

The filly next to her, her sister Sweet Mint, replied "Na, that's so played out!"

Another filly, named Daisy Dream, said "How about a super hero suit?"

her sister, named Lily Light, replied "No way! That's such a boy thing."

A filly named Pearly White said "Why don't we put her in a tutu? Dress her like a ballerina?"

Then a filly popped out of the trunk holding a pair of pom-poms. Named Dazzle Gleam, she said "I got it! We'll dress her as a cheerleader! It's original, a girl thing, she'll still dance, and most of all, fun and funny. Won't it fun to have the princess cheering for us."

Sweet Tea smiled and said "That's a great idea!"

"Oh! Oh! Oh! Can we get her to give us rides as well?" added Sweet Mint.

Daisy Dream replied "Why not? She said that she'd do whatever we told her."

Lily Light followed "Then why don't we play jokes with her while we're at it?"

Pearly White replied "We can, and we will. This is going to be great!"

With that, Dazzle Gleam threw the pom-poms to her friends. She then dived back into the trunk. Moments later, she reemerged with a cheerleader's shirt and skirt. She passed them off to the other fillies, then hopped out of the trunk. All the fillies surrounded Cotton Candy. They were ready to give her their version of a "Pretty Princess Beauty Makeover".
Daisy Dream reached into a pocket on her dress and brought out a small bag of combs and brushes. Dazzle Gleam reached into her purse and pulled out a makeup bag. These girls knew exactly what they wanted to do, and they were going to get the most enjoyment out of it.

Pearly White said "I'll put on her shirt!"

Sweet Tea said "Me and Mint will put on her skirt!"

Daisy Dream said "Me and Lily will style her mane and tail!"

Dazzle Gleam said "And I'll handle her makeup! We'll make her the prettiest cheerleading princess ever!"

Lily Light stepped toward Cotton Candy and said "Could you, please, kneel down for us?"

Cotton Candy complied with the request and knelt down on her knees for the girls. Now they knew that she really would follow their orders.
Pearly White picked up the shirt in her mouth. She walked over to Cotton Candy and signaled for her to lower her head. She did, and Peary started to fit her through the head hole on the shirt. Then she had Cotton Candy fit her forelegs through the arm holes, and pulled it down all the way for a perfect fit.
Next, Sweet Tea and Sweet Mint picked up the skirt in their mouths. The two sisters walked behind Cotton Candy with and signaled her to stretch out her hind legs. She did, and the girls fit them through the skirt. They then pulled it up her legs, until it came to rest snuggly around her waist
Next, Daisy Dream and Lily Light picked up brushes from the bag. Lily Light walked behind Cotton Candy, to her tail. And Daisy Dream went to the princess' mane. The two simultaneously started to brush down Cotton Candy's flowing mane and tail. As the did so, they brushed out all the fluff, making her hair straight, smooth, and silky. After they were done with that, Daisy Dream hopped onto the princess' back and leaned on her neck to get at her head. Now using with a comb, she started to work on styling the hair at the top of the mane. She arranged it into small bun-like style that ran into a long ponytail. She then combed the bangs into a side swept style, before getting down.
Next, Dazzle Gleam signaled Cotton Candy into lower her head. She lower face to the little filly.

Dazzle Gleam said "Please close your eyes."

Cotton Candy did. She closed her eyes shut and waited. Dazzle opened her makeup bag and pulled out a powder brush. She brushed it against Cotton Candy's cheeks, giving a slight pink blush. She then took out some eye liner and used it on the princess' eyelashes, giving them extra length. Then, she took some lip gloss and used it to give her subject's lips some extra sheen. Now she was done.
Finally, all the fillies stepped away. Two other fillies from the group brought over the pom-poms and placed them in front of Cotton Candy.

Dazzle Gleam said "Please rise and take the pom-poms."

Cotton Candy did so and stood up while grasping the pom-poms in her magic.

Dazzle Gleam said "Please strike a pose."

Cotton Candy struck her best pose. All the fillies looked on, admiring their handy work. They had just got done dressing a live princess like she was some sort of living doll. And they like the results.
Cotton Candy was now wearing a two-toned pink cheerleader's uniform, bearing the logo of Canterlot Academy. With the way her mane and tail were styled, she looked like a teenager.

All the fillies were in awe at their own work. Even they didn't know they could make their princess this beautiful.

Pearly White said "WOW! She's so beautiful!"

Sweet Tea followed "I know... Even I didn't know we were this good."

Daisy Dream said "Well, it looks like it turned out pretty great. So what should we with her first? She said we could play with her however we like?"

Lily Light said "I know! She's a cheerleader now, duh."

Lily Light stepped forward. She knew what to do first.

Lily Light looked at Cotton Candy and said "KO, Princess. First off, we want you to refer to us as ladies, ok? Second, the first thing we want you to do is to start cheering. Begin by telling us who you are in cheer."

With that, Cotton Candy sprung to life. She started moving the pom-poms from side to side. She was dancing, moving her legs up and down in rhythm.

While dancing, Cotton Candy cheered "RAW, RAW! RIZZ, BOOM, BAH! MY NAME IS COTTON CANDY, AND I FEEL DANDY!"

All the fillies cheered with her. They felt energized by the dancing alicorn's chants. They all knew they were going to have fun with her.

Daisy Dream stepped forward and said "Now do some cheers for us!"

All the fillies said "Yeah!" in unison.

Cotton Candy continued cheering "RAW, RAW! SWEET MINT AND SWEET TEA, SUCH BEAUTY!"

"WEE, HEE! LILY LIGHT AND DAISY DREAM, WHAT A TEAM!"

"PEARLY WHITE, WHAT A DELIGHT!"

"AND DAZZLE GLEAM, BRINGS RAZZLE DAZZLE! YEAH PONIES!"

All the fillies kept doing their own cheers as this continued. They were all having the time of their lives.

Sweet Tea flipped her mane and said "We really are beautiful, aren't we sister?"

Sweet Mint replied "Yeah! Hey girls, can we start riding her now?!"

Again, they all said "Yeah!" at once.

Dazzle Gleam then stepped forward and said "Cotton Candy, come over here and kneel down, please."

Cotton Candy replied "Yes, My Lady!"

Cotton Candy walked over to the group of fillies and bent down on her knees. All 20 fillies all lined up in front of her to take their turn. Because it had been her idea, they all let Sweet Mint and her sister have the first ride. The two fillies climbed onto the alicorn's back and took their seats. Sweet Mint was at the front holding onto Cotton Candy's neck, while Sweet Tea sat behind holding onto her sister.

With both fillies secure, Sweet Mint said "Giddy up, Princess. Go around the room."

And so, Cotton Candy got up and started trotting. She ran along the walls and dividers of the VIP area they were in. As she trotted, the fillies on her back bounce up and down, giggling the whole time. They were enjoying riding their Pretty Princess. At one point, Sweet Mint got an idea. She took two locks of Cotton Candy's ponytailed mane in each of her fore hooves. Using them like reins, she started steering Cotton Candy around in more specific directions. The Sweet Sister ran their alicorn around all the tables like an obstacle course. This all went on for a little while, until they decided to give others a turn.
Cotton Candy went on to give rides to all the other fillies. Each of them rode her in the same wild manner, having as much fun as they wanted. At one point, they started making a competition out of seeing who run the obstacle course the fastest. They went as far as to start making bets. The biggest bet was, winner got to keep the cheerleader outfit as a souvenir, loser had to be the pom-poms in Cotton Candy's next cheer. Daisy Dream and Lily Light won that bet. Dazzle Gleam and Pearly White lost.
The ride went on for about an hour. By then, some of the fillies started to get hungry. They all wanted to eat the food that had served to them. Until they remembered that they had all been served mostly vegetables. And the serving staff told they don't get desert until the vegetables were all eaten. But then they got an idea.

Daisy Dream looked at the other girls and said "Hey girls, idea! What if we got Princess Cotton Candy to eat all those yucky vegetables for us?"

Lily Light Replied "That's a great idea! We can have scarf them down, then say WE ate them and get desert."

Sweet Tea said "It'll be funny to watch her eat them all!"

Several of the other girls said "Lets do it!"

Daisy Dream walked over to Cotton Candy and said "Hey Princess! Do you see all those vegetable and leafy greens on our tables?"

Cotton Candy looked around the room and noted where every plate with veges was. She then turned back to the filly and gave a nod.

Daisy Dream continued "Good! We want you to go to every plate and up all the vegetables. Every last one! And be sure you do it with a happy smile."

Cotton Candy replied "Yes, My Ladies!"

Cotton Candy then set to work. She went over to the first table and started to eagerly eat the leafy greens. She got all up in one mouthful and swallowed whole. She then started to work her way around to every other table. She went to every vegetable covered plate and grazed them down, happily smiling as she did so.

As she went, one filly commented "She looks like cow eating grass! Ha, Ha, Ha!"

Eventually, she ate down every last vegetable, just like she was told Afterward, the girls told the servants that they had finished their meal. Luckily, the servants bought the story and brought the girls their desert, cake. They all returned to their seats to enjoy their cake while listening to Cotton Candy sing more their praises. Well, all except Dazzle Gleam and Pearly White that is. Since they had lost their bet, had to be part of the act.
All the fillies sat at their tables, ready to eat. Cotton Candy stood in the middle of all the table, where everypony could see her. Dazzle Gleam and Pearly white stood in front of her.

Daisy Dream yelled "KO, Cotton Candy! Start cheering for all of us again, using your new "pom-poms"."

Cotton Candy replied "Yes, My Ladies!"

With that, she levitated the two fillies into the air in front of her. Cotton Candy started waving them side to side, while moving her legs in rhythm. She went into her dance, shake the two girls as she did.

Cotton Candy cheered "RAW, RAW! BOOM, BOOM, BAH! THEY HAVE GIRL POWER, BY THE HOUR!"

"WHOO, HOO! THESE GIRLS HAVE STYLE, THEY GO THE MILE!"

"RAW, RAW! I MAY SOUND SAPPY, BUT THEY MAKE ME HAPPY!"

Cotton Candy continued making cheers like this for a little while. And the whole time, Dazzle Gleam and Pearly White were being shaken like pom-poms. They were actually glad not to have any cake, because they looked like they were going to be sick. Eventually, all the other fillies finished their cake and they had Cotton Candy stop.
By then, the girls all agreed that they were no longer bored and decided to end the game. Upon hearing this, Discord knew now was the best time to make an exit and leave the fillies with something else to play with. He had been controlling Celestia as a puppet for well over a hour by now.

Cotton Candy stood up straight and addressed the fillies "OK, girls. I've had the most wonderful time playing with, and being played with, by you fillies. This is the most fun I've had in ages. But it's time for me to go."

Several of the fillies said "AAAAWWWWW! Bummer!"

Cotton Candy replied "But don't be sad. I'm leaving you all with a little gift."

With that, Cotton Candy lit her horn. Her cheerleader outfit disappeared from her being, then reappeared in front of Daisy Dream and Lily Light. Their prize from the bet. The Princess then turn turned to the trunk of clothes, still sitting around. She cast a spell on it and it's contents. Afterward, she gestured the fillies to go look in it. When they did, they found that all the clothes had shrunk to their size.

One of the fillies looked at her and said "Wow! Do we get to play with these?"

Cotton Candy replied "Yes! You can all play dress-up with them. And at the end of the night, you can all take any one outfit over it home with you."

All the fillies said "YYAAAYYY!" at once.

They all scrambled over to the trunk to take their picks. See this, Discord had Celestia take a bow. He snapped his tail, and they both disappeared in a flash of magic. Discord was satisfied, knowing they had just made a lot of kids happy.

Moments later...

Discord and Celestia reappeared in a flash of magic of the other side of the ball room. Discord's puppet controllers were gone. But Celestia stood next to him, still in her trance. Colors still spiraled in her eyes, and she was once again drooling. Discord could have taken her out of it by now, but he liked the blank look on her face too much.
Discord held a paw up to his ear. He could hear the laughs of the fillies from all the way across the ballroom. Mission accomplished. He had successfully entertained 20 bore children. With that done, he turned his attention to the rest of the party.
Discord looked on to see Luna surrounded by a group of guests, juggling flowers in her magic. She was even making reefs out of them for the mares. Discord could see that Luna had done a good job while he was busy. But not he want to do a little something extra.
Thinking to himself, Discord looed over at Celestia, still drooling. And the wheels in his head started to turn.

He said "I have a good idea."

Author's Note

This has to the longest chapter of the story. I hope you all like it. My imagination went into overdrive on this one.
Based on the poll I did earlier, I decided to have Discord use Celestia as both a puppet and a cheerleader. Twice the laughs!
