A Demon at Sunset and A Sparkle at Midnight
Chapter 1-The Nightmare
“HAHAHA! You really think you two and you two alone can beat us?” a demonic voice cackled. Sunset looked at her former self with fire in her eyes. She had transformed into her Daydream form and was standing in front of a helpless Twilight. Sunset hadn't realised that Midnight Sparkle had snuck behind her and had grabbed Twilight's arm. She yelled as she tried to get away.
“HEY! GET OFF OF HER!” Sunset roared as she attempted to get Midnight off her girlfriend by blasting her. Midnight and smirked as she moved and pushed Twilight infront, making the blast hit her instead of the demon counter-part. Sunset dropped onto the floor with a horrified look and came rushing forward with tears beginning to form.
“Twilight? Hey, Twilight? Wake up please? Twilight?!” Sunset kept on saying as she picked her up and started shaking her, hoping she would wake up. Midnight flew to Demon Shimmer and just watched Sunset with a smirk as she began to break down.
“TWILIGHT!” Sunset yelled as tears from her eyes were hitting Twilight's now pale face. Sunset checked her pulse on her wrist. No pulse. Her heart was racing. She put her hands on her chest and began performing CPR. 'It isn't working!' She was panicking even more. She put her mouth to Twilights and began breathing air into her system. After about 5 minutes of trying, she gave up. Her Twilight was gone. Instead of sadness, anger began to rise. Not only to the demons laughing behind her, but to herself as well. She had killed not only her best friend, her girlfriend too. She stood up in silence, turned around and faced her enemies. Deadly flames burning in her eyes, she began walking slowly towards them. They both noticed her, but kept smirks on there faces.
“Awww. Poor, Daydream Shimmer. Did Midnight make you kill her? Well, that's so sad. I really wish I could help.” Demon Shimmer said in a sickly, sweet voice. Which made Daydream shudder. Daydream held up both of hands and little sparks of lights were coming out of them. Midnight Sparkle gave Demon Shimmer a look of confusion. They looked back at Daydream Shimmer and saw that the sparks had become bigger. As the two evil counterparts continued to look at the reformed bully, they also continued to notice the sparks getting bigger and bigger.
“This...was...all...your...FAULT!” Daydream yelled as the large sparks came together and then split into two separate ones to hit both Midnight and D. Shimmer. Which they did. They both fell onto the floor. Midnight and D. Shimmer both looked up from their fallen positions and saw that Daydream was coming forward with her hands in front of her with sparks coming out of them, yet again. This time, there was more anger this time and tears falling like a waterfall. D. Shimmer was faster to react and blasted a quick beam at her, which Daydream swiftly dodged.
“Sunset?” Daydream heard. She turned around and saw Twilight was there holding her glasses with tears in her eyes. Daydream de-transformed back into Sunset and began running to Twilight with a smile on her face and tears of joy running down her face, totally forgetting about the demons she was just fighting. As soon as she had reached Twilight, she heard her say,
“I'm sorry.” Before fading off like a ghost. She looked behind her and saw two beams hit her.
And she woke up with a load scream. Twilight shot up next to her and got her glasses so she could see Sunset clearly and switched the lamp on, only to see Sunset's eyes had shrank and she was sweating all over.
“Sunny? What happened? Why are you sweating?” Twi asked Sunset. Sunset's reply was,
“I'm so glad you're alive.”
