“Luna! Where is that sister of mine?!” Princess Celestia’s voice echoed throughout the nearly abandoned halls of her Castle Council room. It was rare to find any guards within a ten-foot radius of Celestia nowadays. It was quite common that hardly anyone was near her. Not ever since Discord had gotten his final revenge on not only Celestia, but Equestria as well. Celestia was no longer beloved and was no longer the Princess that her kingdom had come to know. In fact, she was quite the opposite. She was like an unruly teenager who did what she wanted, when she wanted, which invariably included lazily “forgetting” to raise the sun some days. It left Equestria in a dark and confused state, almost as if Discord had never really been imprisoned in the first place. It was an everlasting victory for the Draconequus that not even the Elements of Harmony could stop. Although they had tried, Celestia’s will to remain “discorded” was stronger than even the Elements.
“I will send for her immediately.” A grey-coated stallion in his guard’s uniform said as he gingerly put only one hoof within the Council room. He dared not to take any more steps within the room for fear of being banished or even killed. Celestia had become like that; banishing anypony who came too near without her consent or even stepping on the wrong tiles.
“Very well then. Hurry it up!” Celestia said as she jumped down from her throne. She didn’t even wait to see the guard nod in a respectively feared manner before he trotted off to fetch the younger royal sister.
Celestia then turned her attention to the many large windows that overlooked the entirety of her kingdom. A small smile crossed her lips as a dangerously fun idea crossed her mind.
Something fun for everyone… She thought to herself, deciding to raise the sun for once. Her horn began in a dark-golden glow before she brought it upward without much visible effort. Within moments, the sun began showing itself over the horizon much to the entertainment of Celestia.
“You summoned me, sister?”
Celestia turned around to see her younger sister standing within the Council room hall, awaiting just what it was her sister wanted, a look of obvious apprehension marking her features. Like all others, she had tried to turn Celestia back into her original self, but unfortunately failed. Ever since her return from banishment, Celestia had been sure to revoke some of Luna’s power in controlling Equestria. That had been, ironically, her own downfall as Luna could not muster up the right strength to convince nor return her own sister to her normal self. With all options exhausted, Equestria and even Luna had been forced to work under her tyranny. Albeit, Celestia was more in things for fun, but her definition of fun was quite cruel and unforgiving at times.
“Luna! There you are! I’m feeling bored. How would you like to play a game?” Celestia said, a faked emotion of happiness pulling her features up into a devilish smile.
“I, um…” Luna began doubting but quickly wised up, “Yes, sister. I would like to play a game with you.”
Luna forced a smile onto her face, hoping that Celestia would buy it and not look further into it. Celestia seemed pleased enough as she continued, “How about a game of truth or dare?”
Suddenly, Luna knew she was in for a hard day of embarrassments and strange dares. When it came to Celestia and the game of truth or dare, it was always dare. Celestia wasn’t interested in talk; she was all action and that’s just what she was going to receive.
“Yes, sister… You can go first, of course.” Luna’s smile widened, only out of an evident nervousness and fear.
Celestia sat herself in front of her dark sister, putting a hoof to her mouth in deep thought. After what seemed like an eternity to Luna, the elder sister finally perked up with an idea flashing across her features.
“I have a wonderful dare for you!” Celestia jumped up nearly in a giddy manner, causing her horn to glow very suddenly and brightly. A strange sensation overcame Luna as her surroundings became a blur of swirling magic and dizzying turns. Within moments, it was gone, and their surroundings had been replaced. They now sat in the town square of Ponyville.
Luna quickly looked around to see that Celestia had transported them to an alleyway of sorts, out of the view of the hustle and bustle the village ponies had created with the sudden rise of the sun. Nopony noticed their arrival, which is what Celestia must have planned. Luna looked around for a moment before landing her eyes back on Celestia, whom her smile had still not been diminished.
“Okay, Luna! My dare for you is…” She took a pause, bringing Luna closer to her in an overly melodramatic way, “See that ice cream stand over there?”
Celestia pointed with her nearly grey-purple eyes toward a cart that was being run by a single pony with an ice cream sign hanging above the vendor’s head. Luna looked back and forth from her sister’s smiling face, to the ice cream vendor. Luna nodded cautiously, hoping that it would please Celestia.
“I want you to walk up to that stand, use the old Royal Canterlot Voice and announce that you will ‘purchase some ice cream’. After you receive the ice cream, I want you to rub it all over your body and moan very loudly.”
Luna could feel her face screw up into one of fear and pure embarrassment at what she knew she was going to either willingly do, or be forced to do. She decided the former would be better, as force and the Discorded Celestia were terms that should never meet. The moon pony swallowed hard, small beads of sweat beginning to coat her forehead.
“Y… Yes, sister.”
Celestia’s smile continued to grow, if at all possible, as she shoved her younger sister out from the alleyway with her hooves. Suddenly, all the ponies in the town square stopped what they were doing as they say their Princess of the Night for the first time since Discord had been locked away. Some continued to stare while others approached her, happy to see that she was okay. However, Luna had to ignore them or Celestia might have given her consequences.
Luna kept her eyes focused on the ice cream stand before her, taking each painful step toward it with a great look of concentrative fear. She knew that she had to choice in the matter. She’d already exhausted several attempts in previous games at trying to deny her sister’s dares, but sadly to no avail.
Luna prepared her lungs for the sudden outburst of her Royal Voice, “I WILL PURCHASE SOME ICE CREAM FROM YOU, GENTLESTALLION!”
The stallion in question was utterly surprised and taken aback from the immediate sound coming from his Princess, but did not deny her.
“Y-Yes, Princess Luna… What kind?”
The white unicorn stallion smiled awkwardly at her as she looked back to Celestia, still hidden within the shadows of the alleyway. Celestia raised an eyebrow and made a shooing motion with her hooves at her younger sister. It was a sign that Celestia was becoming impatient. Luna’s eyes then darted about the crowd of ponies that had inevitably gathered around the scene she was causing. She was immortal; no reason for her to die of embarrassment.
Luna mustered up enough courage to finally go through with it and get it done. The sooner, the better.
“VANILLA!” Luna shouted, nearly blowing the vendor backward.
Without wishing for his Princess to wait, he quickly used his purple magic to scoop a chunk of vanilla ice cream onto a brown-tinted cone before floating it over toward Luna.
“Eh… No charge, Princess.” The unicorn gingerly said as the ice cream began to glow blue. As Luna pulled the ice cream closer to herself, she noticed that some ponies were still staring at her. A few had gone about their business, but most still had their curious eyes on her. Luna closed her eyes tightly, took a deep breath, and began to rub the cold sweets all over her chest.
“OH, YES! YES!” Luna moaned loudly, clear enough for even the citizens of Canterlot to hear if they were to listen closely.
Luna then proceeded to move the cold substance about her forelegs and around her stomach. She could suddenly hear laughter all about her and feel her cheeks begin to blush in a deep red. However, she valiantly continued to rub the ice cream all over her body until every last bit of it was exhausted as were her lungs from the moaning.
“Princess Luna… What are you doing?!”
A sudden familiar voice burst out from the crowd of laughter that caused Luna’s eyes to fly open.
“T-Twilight Sparkle! I, uh…” Luna dropped the ice cream cone, which was now empty of all ice cream, its new home on Luna’s body. Luna suddenly began to feel the effects of the ice cream’s cold temperature, as she began shivering lightly. She smiled out of embarrassment at Twilight, her eyes drifting back up to Celestia who naturally had an amused look about her eyes.
“Princess… Are you okay?” Twilight asked out of genuine worry, her eyes moving about Luna’s face to find any kind of reason for her strange behavior. Luna shook the ice cream off of her body quickly, trying to shake the strange and award moment from herself just as she did the ice cream.
Without warning, the same glowing golden aura encircled both Luna and Twilight, causing the same dizzying effect Luna had experienced earlier. They were being transported to another area by Celestia’s whim.
Within moments, the glow had subsided, revealing a multitude of books surrounding them. There were more on the floor than were on the shelves, leaving an obvious trail of studying in its appearance. It didn’t take Luna long to realize that Celestia had transported all three of them into Twilight’s library.
“Celestia!” Twilight yelled as she suddenly became conscious of her surroundings. She had taken a defensive stance at her former mentor, her horn beginning to glow. This was the first time Twilight had seen Celestia since she tried to turn her back. Twilight knew she wasn’t to be trusted as she used to be.
Celestia laughed lightly at her small attempts, knowing that the bookworm pony could have no effect whatsoever on the sun Princess, “Twilight, Luna and I were just playing a game of truth or dare, and I thought you’d like to play, too!”
“Play?! Are you-“
Luna suddenly nudged Twilight, causing her to look into Luna’s distressed eyes. A silent message was passed from Luna’s dark eyes to Twilight’s purple ones: don’t disagree. Twilight looked back to the grey Alicorn, her face contorted into an uppity smirk. Twilight sighed lightly, the fear of consequences within Luna’s eyes high enough to make her quickly change her mind.
As her horn stopped glowing, as did her stance ease up, “Sure… Princess.”
Celestia smiled in a way that they all knew she got her way and was pleased about it – the kind of smile they never thought Princess Celestia would ever wear.
“I have…” Celestia paused as she moved along the bookcases within the tree library, seeming to be looking for something but just couldn’t find it, “…two dares for you. Don’t chicken out on me.”
Twilight nodded, looking to Luna momentarily for some sort of support, but then realized that she was just as much of a victim as Twilight was.
“First dare.” Celestia suddenly said, stopping and turning toward the two other ponies within the room, “I dare you to do an exotic dance for me and my sister, right here.”
Twilight’s face lit up with a deep red at the very thought of it, her prude ways barely even allowing her to think about the matter, let alone perform it. In a way, she locked up and couldn’t move.
“Well?” Celestia urged, the purple unicorn still frozen without a chance of moving.
Celestia restated herself, slower this time although her patience was growing thin, “I said, exotic dance, Twilight Sparkle.”
Twilight swallowed hard, her seemingly stone body finally coming back into animate life. She sighed lightly before she began moving her hips very gently. Celestia could be heard trying to hold back a small laugh as she sat, waiting for Twilight to continue her demanded dance.
Within moments, Twilight seemed to let go of her embarrassment and continued doing the action out of fear of Celestia. Her initial courage at trying to stand up to her former mentor was gone, the look in Princess Luna’s eyes being enough to scare her into submission. Twilight continued to awkwardly move her body about in whatever way she knew possible to seem “exotic”. She’d certainly read about the subject matter, but never imagined herself in the situation. It only seemed natural that her body would move in all too many awkward ways in trying to imitate what she’s read. She knew it involved great amounts of moving her bottom, but other than that, she didn’t know what to do with the rest of her body. In a way, she looked to be a flailing mess of limbs with a bottom that moved too much to be “exotic”.
Celestia was a mess of laughter on the floor, momentarily relieving the tension that had been created moments ago. Even Luna was having a hard time holding her laughter back as Twilight continued her idea of an exotic dance. Or rather what her uncoordinated body interpreted from what she’d read.
“Alright, alright, Twilight…” Celestia managed to choke out from her laughter, “You can stop!”
Twilight gladly stopped, her awkward dancing coming to an immediate halt. She just sat on her once overly-moving plot, awaiting Celestia’s next dare – or rather demand – with a deep blush remaining on her cheeks. Twilight continued to sit quietly along with Luna as they both waited for Celestia to gather her composure once again.
“Now, for a real dare.” Celestia suddenly said, her tone suddenly and strangely serious.
The happy mood that had been pervading the air moments ago had abruptly changed to one of an eerily intimidating silence. Celestia took her time intentionally, causing Luna and Twilight to be put into a bit of an awkward position.
“Your second dare,” the discorded princess unexpectedly said, “will be thus: choose five of your favorite books.”
Confused, Twilight momentarily stared at Celestia. Celestia raised her eyebrow in return, a sign of her growing impatience, “Go on.”
Twilight’s horn began glowing, causing five books to float down to where she sat. She seemed to know immediately where these books were, which made sense. Considering they were her favorites, it only seemed right that she had them right on hoof. A couple came from the shelf, the rest from the books littered on the floor.
“Now…” Celestia said, observing the books for a moment as they floated before the purple unicorn, “Burn them.”
Twilight’s eyes went wide with reluctant fear her most prized books were going to be gone before her eyes. She continued to sit, unmoving and disobeying the order. A few tears began welling up within her eyes, the loss of her favorite books nearly her biggest fear.
“Now.” Celestia demanded, her own horn beginning to glow in anticipation of punishing the poor unicorn.
Twilight took a shaky breath, tears now overflowing her eyelids as she set each one on fire, watching in horror as her books were burnt to nothing more than ash. Before long, each of her favorite books was in a large pile of ash on the floor. A few pieces of the beloved burnt pages fluttered down lazily, each word that she had nearly memorized from overuse now forever unrecognizable.
It didn’t take long for Twilight to break down into a fit of hiccupping cries, her face nearly burying itself in the remains of her books. Celestia, however, was utterly amused and satisfied. As long as she was obeyed, she couldn’t care less what the tears were over.
Luna began to move to try and comfort the crying Twilight, but was stopped as a small knock rattled the library’s front door. Luna and Twilight both looked up to Celestia for guidance, unsure if they should move to answer it or not. Celestia looked to the door momentarily before opening to door with her own magic.
As the glowing door swung open, it revealed a certain pink-haired pegasus.
“Twilight? I-“ Fluttershy stopped mid-sentence as she saw the full group of ponies before her, her eyes finally landing on their former Princess Celestia. Within moments, she was trying to leave, but a glowing golden aura surrounded her body, causing her to only run in place.
“Fluttershy! Great timing! Come with us!” Celestia said, a nearly genuine smile tugging at her lips.
Without waiting for the approval of anypony, as usual, Celestia began to transport them to a new location. Suddenly, they were back within Canterlot, appearing in the center of the busy capitol city.
“Everypony! Hear me!” Celestia said, using her Royal Canterlot voice for the first time in centuries, very obviously garnering the attention of all those around the group, “Your fellow subject from Ponyville, Fluttershy, is going to be making a very important speech to you all!”
Hearing her own name, Fluttershy began hiding herself within her forelegs, trying to make herself smaller to nearly no avail.
“Fluttershy, dear…” Celestia spoke with a softness that was more out of a mocking care than a true one, only for the shy pegasus to hear, “I dare you to give a speech on how intercourse is done…”
Celestia drew out her pause between words just as she had done before in order to give Fluttershy a moment to soak in what she was going to be doing. Not only that, but Celestia enjoyed every moment of seeing her victim’s reactions. Fluttershy’s was hard to read, but could easily be summed up as embarrassed at the idea already. Daring such a sensitive and inwardly drawn pony was just something that was going to make Celestia’s day.
The redness on Fluttershy’s face didn’t fail to cover every inch of her features as she continued to sit amidst the large crowd of high-class ponies that had gathered around the smaller group of ponies. Fluttershy could hear whispers amongst the crowd, but to her ears, they were shouts. She knew all eyes were on here as her body locked up in a paralyzed state.
“Go on, my little pony. We are waiting.” Celestia’s eyes flashed with a dark glint that reached into the very depths of Fluttershy’s mind. In a way, it broke Fluttershy. Fluttershy knew what the Discorded Princess was capable of and maybe this was the reason the shy pegasus did as she said.
Twilight and Luna watched in horror and utter embarrassment as Fluttershy began, “Wh-when a mommy mare… And a daddy stallion l-love each other very… Very much, they decide to have a… A… A special hug.”
As Celestia tried to contain her laughter at how the introverted pegasus continued to explain the act of sex, everypony around them watching in a confused and awkward state. Fluttershy then continued onto saying something along the lines of chickens and eggs and tadpoles, trying her hardest in her limitedly prude knowledge to explain the act of sex. Within moments, the crowd was laughing along with Celestia. Twilight went on to comfort the poor humiliated Fluttershy, whether she was consciously aware of it or not.
This game of truth or dare had become a major success in Celestia’s eyes and the fact that everypony in Canterlot was laughing with her at the expense of others was just another incentive to find another pony for her games. Another day, another subject.
