//-------------------------------------------------------// Life of a Pie -by Fim623- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 1: Strong As a Rock //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 1: Strong As a Rock Limestone woke to the sound of a crying baby. She quickly got up and trotted to the living room, making her older sister Maudena stir in her sleep. Limestone gasped when she saw a tiny whitish blue baby filly with a short red mane and tail. She quickly tiptoed over to the baby to console her. The filly sat down on the couch, holding what she assumed was her new baby sister. She liked the fact that the tiny baby had one purple eye and one red eye. Limestone gently pet her baby sister's little mane as Maudena came into the room. She was glad the baby calmed down so quickly. "Limestone, what are you doing?!" Maudena whispered, getting her sister's attention. "I'm playing with the new baby!" replied Limestone, staying quiet so she wouldn't wake her parents up or cause the baby to start crying again. "Hello, there! I'm Limestone Blinkie Pie, but you can just call me Limestone." Maudena quietly walked over to her little sisters and sat on the couch next to Limestone. "You better be careful or you'll wake up Mama!" she whispered. "You know how cranky she can get when she doesn't get enough sleep before we start to harvest rocks. She's thrice as mean." "Thrice?" Limestone asked. Maudena began gently petting the baby's fur, making her coo. "A fancy word for three times." she answered softly, smiling and looking down at her baby sister. "You better put her up and go back to sleep," Maudena whispered to her younger sister, getting up off the couch. "I'm gonna try to get some more rest." And with that said, she walked off. Limestone didn't listen to half of what her sister said, which was a big mistake. She flinched when she heard her parents' door open and she quickly stood up to put the baby back in her crib and race to her room without being noticed. "LIMESTONE BLINKIE PIE!" Igneous Rock Pie shouted at his second-born daughter, surely waking up everypony in Rock Country, maybe even Equestria. "Put that baby down NOW!" Limestone cringed when she dropped her baby sister out of fear, causing her to start wailing. Not sure of what to do as her father trotted up toward his two daughters, Limestone pulled her ears back and took two slow steps backwards. "I'm so sorry, I--" "Limestone Pie!" a female voice said loudly, nearly scaring the living daylights out of the purple filly. "What the hay are you doing?!" Limestone Pie stuttered the word 'I' a few times before her mother came up to her and smacked her across the face. Little did any of the ponies know, the horrified Maudena Claudia Pie was watching everything as she poked her head around the corner of the wall. Limestone attempted to blink back her tears as her mother swatted her flank with her hoof and shoved her out the door. Maudena ran to her room to watch her sister and mother out the window in her and Limestone's room that faced the front yard. Cloudy Quartz snapped a branch in half after she ripped it off of a nearby tree, the cowering Limestone Pie watching her mother in horror. Maudena Pie gasped before she quickly shut the blinds of her window. She couldn't bare to see what was happening. After a few minutes, Maudena quickly trotted out of her bedroom to hide in her previous hiding spot behind the wall. Both her father and the baby were gone. Her mother and sister had just returned to the house. Limestone had several cuts and bruises on her flanks and legs. "Basement. Now." Maudena heard her mother say in a clearly angry tone. The little grey filly watched her sister being pushed down the basement stairs before Cloudy Quartz slammed and locked the door. "Mama, PLEASE! Please let me out! I won't touch her again! Just don't leave me down here!" shrieked Limestone, pounding on the door as loud as she could. Cloudy Quartz stood in front of the locked basement door. "I'm not letting you out until you think about what you've done!" she yelled over all the noise, causing her daughter to stop banging on the door's opposite side. "You could've killed your sister!" "But I didn't, did I?!" Limestone exclaimed, trying to push the door open. "She's still alive, and it's Papa's fault that I dropped her! He scared me and--" Cloudy suddenly bucked the door, causing Limestone to fall onto her back with a grunt. "IT'S YOUR OWN DAMN FAULT YOU DROPPED THE BABY!" she said loudly. "How dare you blame your father!" Limestone got up, ran to the door, and began pounding on it again. "I-I'll never touch her again, just please let me out!!" she wailed, beginning to tear up as she attempted to push against the door. Suddenly, all noise in the house stopped. "Limestone Blinkie Pie..." Cloudy Quartz began in a firm tone, making Maudena's breath hitch. "Step away from the door, all the way down the stairs." Limestone hesitated before looking behind her and obeying her mother. Cloudy unlocked and opened the door, closing it behind her. "Limestone," she began. "You are not to leave this room. Do you understand?" Limestone looked her mother straight in the eyes. "Yes, ma'am." she replied, her voice breaking. "I don't want you in my family," Cloudy continued. "You are a threat to us all. You are no longer a Pie, and you are to never see the light of day again. Yell or scream for help, and that will be your last day. I plan to put some sort of padding around the walls as soon as I can pay for it. Do you hear me?" Limestone sighed, pulling her ears back. "Y'sm." she said, almost inaudibly. Cloudy Quartz sighed before turning and leaving the basement, glancing back at her second-born daughter one last time. Maudena was tempted to run at her mother and start kicking and punching her. Limestone was right, she did nothing wrong! It was all Papa's fault... For years, Maudena never told anypony about what she had seen. She told her parents she wanted to go by "Maud", and oddly enough, they accepted it. Granny and Grandpa Pie had always called her Maud anyway, and sometimes Granny Pie called her Maudie. Maud soon became an emotionless shell, still scarred by her younger sister's imprisonment. She swore to herself to never forget about her dear Limestone Blinkie Pie, or what happened to her. Years passed. Two more Pies were born; Pinkamena Diane Pie and Marble Inkie Pie. Members of the Pie Family usually start working on the rock farms on their fourth birthday and are able to retire at age 50, starting out by lifting pebbles and bits of sandstone into small wagons. Dearest Marble acted like a depressed pony. She never wanted to do anything, she ate only half of her food, she could barely lift the rocks without her mother's help, and she was a lot skinnier than the other Pie fillies. She was four, her sister Pinkamena was almost five, Katrena was almost six, the locked up Limestone was almost nine, and Maudena was almost eleven. Little did Marble or Igneous know, Cloudy Quartz had told Pinkamena, Maudena, and Katrena to ignore her as if she wasn't there...all because she was planning to lock her up. It all started one night when Marble nearly threw her back out trying to lift a small boulder into Pinkamena's briefly abandoned cart, and this actually caused her to fall over and pass out. The young filly soon woke up in a dark room, one that reeked of mold and an unwashed body. Little did Marble know, she would soon get used to the smell. Marble looked up and saw two narrowed yellow eyes staring back at her. "Who are you?" a voice asked. Marble pulled her ears back. "Marble Inkie Pie..." she replied timidly. "Who are you?" "Pie?" the pony asked, her eyes widening. "You can't be my sister..." Marble's own eyes widened. She bit her lip. "Sister? Wait, what's your name?" The pony hesitated before walking out of the darkness. "Limestone Blinkie Pie," she answered. "I've been down here for nine years. I've kept count on this calendar, and I am currently 13 years old. Mama and Papa soundproofed this basement a day after I was imprisoned, so even if I screamed as loud as I could nopony would be able to hear." Marble was just about to say something when she heard the basement door unlock. She quickly turned around, not noticing that Limestone had run back into the darkness. Cloudy Quartz opened the door. "Marble Pie, do you know why you are down here?" she asked. Marble, out of fear, began trembling. She shook her head, her ears flattening. Cloudy shut the door behind her and stood over her youngest daughter. "You are down here because you can barely lift rocks," she began. "You are too weak to be a Pie. We harvest rocks for a living, and you can't even do that. I do not know why you're not strong. Even Pinkamena can do it, and she is only five years old." Limestone narrowed her eyes in confusion. Who in Equestria was Pinkamena? "You are to never leave this room," Cloudy Quartz finished, walking backwards up the stairs. "You hear me? I will bring you food and water every day. Stay here and I'll get you a blanket to sleep on." She left, and locked the door just in case. "Pinkamena was always stronger than me..." Marble mumbled, pulling her ears back. "But that makes sense because she's a year older. I guess..." Limestone made sure to keep hidden in the darkness, only her yellow eyes staring back. "You're only four?" she asked. "I've been down here as long as I can remember. Yet somehow this calendar is marked perfectly... Also, who's Pinkamena?" "Pink--" Marble began, but flinched and stopped talking when she heard the door to the basement unlock again. Cloudy Quartz stepped in, holding a tan medium sized blanket, a small bottle of water, and a large plate of semi-delicious-looking food. Cloudy shut the door behind her with her back left leg and walked down the stairs. The blanket was spread over her back, and she held the plate of food in her right front hoof and the water bottle in her mouth. She set the bottle of water down in front of Marble Pie, who simply stared at it. "This type of bottle isn't hard to open," Cloudy said, setting the plate down in front of her daughter. "You should get it." She put the folded blanket onto the floor on the opposite side of the plate of food. "This room is soundproof," Cloudy continued, walking back up the steps. "There's no use screaming. I shall see you tomorrow evening, Marble." She shut and locked the door. Marble Pie sighed, sitting down to eat. "You can join me, Limestone." she said softly. Limestone Pie looked around before slowly walking out of the shadowed corner she liked to hide in. She bent down to take in a whiff of her and her sister's new meal. She loved it already. Limestone could tell this was her father's cooking. Ma Pie usually made her daughters eat rocks. Maudena was quite good at it... Marble had trouble opening the water bottle so Limestone helped her out, taking the lid off with ease. "So...how's Maudena?" Limestone asked after finishing her bite of food. Marble lifted the water bottle over her mouth so as to not spread germs, and took a sip. "We call her Maud." she replied softly after swallowing. She told her older sister all about the family, starting with Pinkamena. After about a year, Cloudy Quartz stopped bringing Marble as much food. Soon, there wasn't enough for both imprisoned ponies. Marble usually gave her food to Limestone, and sometimes the older Pie would refuse to eat it. The two imprisoned sisters stopped talking to each other, chatting less and less each day, and just ended up hoping somepony would rescue them from their prison and their racing minds. Even though she ignored Marble Pie like her mother had said, Maud was still devistated when she saw Cloudy Quartz carrying the youngest Pie down to the basement. But the filly stayed strong and didn't cry. After all, she just knew she would get revenge on her parents some day. The fact that she knew she was going to stay strong and tough physically and mentally got Maud her cutie mark: A dark grey diamond-shaped rock. //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2: The Meaning of Fun //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 2: The Meaning of Fun A young pink filly by the name of Pinkamena Diane Pie silently pushed the last rock into the pile with her nose. She let out a soft saddened sigh, looking around the rock farm of Rock Country. The Pie Family was in the South Field preparing to move the rocks to the East Field. There was rarely any talking. There was definitely no smiling or joy. There were only rocks. Wiping the sweat from her whitish blue forehead, Katrena Kinkie Pie began picking up rocks from her newest pile to put into her little rusty red wagon. Cloudy Quartz Pie had demanded that her sister Diamond move her family to Rock Country a few months after Glitterstone, their eldest daughter, was born. Cloudy may not've been the eldest of the two sisters, but she terrified Diamond Quartz to no end. Glitterstone's younger sister Emily, who Diamond always liked to call "Emmynem" behind everypony's backs was currently eight years old. When the two sisters ever talked to each other, it would usually only be Glitterstone's snarky comments, Emmynem simply ignoring her and maybe even making a saddened expression. Rarely, the sisters would even get into arguments. They had only gotten into two fights, their mother breaking them up the first time and their father Beryllonite simply yelling at them despite it being something he never wanted to do. The Pie Sisters, even being closer to each other than anypony in Rock Country, rarely talked to each other, making the farm even more dreary and boring. The few words they ever shared were either secret soothing comments or informing about work or dinner. Katrena sighed heavily, staring up into the sky at a lone crow flying overhead. She honestly wished something would happen to brighten up the rock farm, at least a little bit for a short time. Other than Glitterstone, Maud, and the four parents, nopony had their cutie mark in the West Field. Beryllonite's was a blue rock with a four-pointed star in the bottom right corner, Diamond's was...well, three diamonds, Glitterstone's was a flaming purple music note next to a small grey rock, Igneous's was a simple pickaxe, Cloudy's was three simple rocks, and Maud's was a dark grey diamond-shaped rock. Katrena Pie looked up to see a few colored dots flying around in the clouds. She always wished she were a Pegasus, mostly so she could fly away from Rock Country forever, taking her two sisters with her and leaving their parents behind. The red-maned filly sighed once more, pulling her ears back. The two sisters heard the sound of the dinner bell and looked up. "There's the dinner bell, I guess..." Katrena muttered, her ears slowly perking up as she lowered her head to the ground. "Come on inside, Pinkamena." She quickly grabbed a rock with her mouth to put in the wagon, clenching it between her teeth. Pinkamena sighed through her nose, watching as her second oldest sister trudged toward the house. Hearing a large explosion in the sky, the blue foal stopped abruptly and looked up. "Holy Celestia!" Katrena exclaimed, gritting her teeth in annoyance as her short mane blew in her face. The two fillies could just barely stay on the ground as a large gust of wind blew over Rock Country. They assumed it went to the other three fields as well. Pretty soon, the wind stopped. Katrena and Pinkamena looked up to see a large, colorful, circular rainbow explosion began to slowly fade away. Katrena simply stood there, mouth agape. A large open-mouthed grin slowly spread across the youngest Pie's pink face. Pinkamena let out a loud shriek of delight as she quickly jumped up and down, startling Katrena and snapping her out of her thoughts. "That was a Sonic RAINBOOM!" squealed the pink filly, pausing her jumps. Her voice definitely had more energy and even... Joy. "A Who-nic What-boom?" Katrena asked, furrowing her brow in confusion as she pulled back one of her ears. Even her voice seemed to show a bit more happiness, but this shocked her. Pinkamena hopped once more. "A Sonic Rainboom!" she repeated. "It happened! It happened just now! It happened even though Ma and Pa always said it was just an old Mare's Tale! I wonder who created this one!" The young pony suddenly ran toward the silo, grinning widely once more. "Pinkamena!" Katrena exclaimed, waving her right front hoof in the air. "Where are you going?!" "You'll see!" Pinkamena shouted behind her, not looking back as she darted into the silo's large door. Pinkamena Diane Pie did not return. The sun was setting, and dinner had just ended. Quickly glancing out the window, Igneous Rock let out a soft sigh. "Does anypony know where Pinkamena went?" he asked. Katrena shrugged, pulling her ears back in slight fear. "She went to the silo earlier just after Ma rung the dinner bell." she said softly. Cloudy Quartz grunted in annoyance. "We shall go there tomorrow morning. I honestly do not care about what she is doing, as long as it isn't...dare I say...ugh, f-fun." "I doubt she would be," Maud said, walking over to the window to look out. "Pinkamena knows better than that." Cloudy scoffed, rolling her eyes. "I certainly hope so. Anyway, head to bed, you two. We have a long day tomorrow. You've had your dinner, you might as well get your rest as well." Igneous Rock opened the door and exited the building, his wife and daughters trudging behind him. "After we check on Pinkamena," he muttered. "we better harvest the rocks from the South Field." Katrena stopped in her tracks. "Pa? Do you hear that?" All four of the ponies stopped and listened. There was a faint noise coming from the silo. It almost sounded like...music. Cloudy Quartz narrowed her eyes, pulling her ears back. "What the hell is that?" hissed the mare. Katrena blinked curiously, her lips parting. "Should we go check it out?" she asked. Igneous narrowed his own eyes. "Pinkamena Diane Pie!" Cloudy Quartz exclaimed. "Is that you?" The silo door suddenly opened. Pinkamena's mane was poofed up like the day before. Maud and Katrena noticed small bits of confetti flying out from the doorway, a couple balloons even floating into the air. "Ma!" Pinkamena squeaked. "I need you and Dad and the sisters to come in here, quick!" The door slammed once more. Maud and Katrena stared at each other, the youngest's expression confused and Maud's simply a bored frown. "The sisters?" Katrena asked hesitantly. "How hard is it to say our names?" "Shh!" spat Cloudy. The Pie Family then walked toward the silo door, Igneous slowly opening as he and his wife dreaded what was inside. There were confetti, streamers, and balloons everywhere. There were a few tables, tablecloths with creative designs and colors. There were several empty glasses, and even a couple punch bowls. It was a party. Pinkamena suddenly jumped up from the main pink-clothed table consisting of a blue punch bowl, several blue glasses, and a large yellow and white triple-layered cake covered in cherries. "Surprise!" the young filly exclaimed, grinning wide. "You like it?! It's called...a party!" She loudly blew a party favor as her sisters and parents gasped loudly, Igneous dropping the piece of hay in his mouth. Pinkamena's grin slowly faded, and she bit her lip. The room was tense and quiet, nopony sure of what to say. The Pies' lips trembled as they looked around the room. This confused Pinkamena a bit. The pink earth filly sighed sadly. "Oh, you don't like it..." she murmured, turning her body away. She noticed everypony looking toward the three balloons of blue and yellow in the corner. The Pie Family smiled. Cloudy Quartz and Maud Pie grinned wide, while Igneous and Katrena simply had open-mouth smiles. Pinkamena gasped excitedly. "You do like it!" she squeaked, and quickly raced over to dance along with her parents and sisters after starting up the music once more. "I'm so happy!" There was a dim flash next to Pinkamena's flank, and she briefly stopped dancing to see what happened. She had gotten her cutie mark, two blue balloons next to one yellow balloon. "Now," squeaked the grinning pink filly. "Instead of Pinkamena Diane Pie, you can call me Pinkie Pie! Ha ha ha!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 3: Cupcakes of Insanity //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 3: Cupcakes of Insanity "No, no, no! This is all wrong! This isn't what I planned!" Pinkie Pie dug through the kitchen drawer as she looked for her party-planning kit. Her heart was beating fast, her eyes were wide, her pupils were contracted, her ears were pulled back, her mane was deflated, her teeth were gritted, and her eye and ear twitched ever so often. Her family was reverting back to normal, like they always had been before her little party. It had been her first, and it just so happened to be thrown in the silo. Pinkie's Pie right ear twitched once more before she let out a sharp yelp. She jerked her left hoof back, her ears slowly perking up as she stared at the long cut leading from her wrist up to the horizontal middle of her forearm. Pinkie quickly licked her wound to clean off the blood now seeping through the new cut. Her heart skipped a beat, seeing that she liked the taste. She winced in fear as her mane suddenly poofed up. The pink earth filly looked down to see what had cut her. It was a slightly opened pair of scissors. She picked it up with her right hoof, examining the extremely sharp and now bloody-bladed tool. Pinkie Pie grinned wide, dropping the scissors into the drawer which she closed afterwards. She quickly ran into the bathroom to bandage up her arm. The youngest Pie had an idea. She liked the taste of blood a lot and she wanted more, but she couldn't keep stealing her own. Pinkie Pie noticed that her family was slowly growing to love sweets. "So many ideas are popping into my head right now!" sang the excited filly. She was going to get blood, and maybe even organs, from other ponies and put them into cupcakes. Pinkie Pie walked back into the kitchen to bake some cupcakes for her family. "So! How are they?" asked Pinkie Pie, swinging her hind legs back and forth as she sat on the kitchen counter, smiling down at her two older sisters. Kinkie Pie had already finished her cupcake, but Maud was simply staring at her own after taking the second bite. Kinkie grinned and Maud simply gave a small smile. "They're awesome!" Kinkie Pie squeaked at the same time Maud said "They're lovely." Pinkie Pie giggled and clapped enthusiastically, grinning wide and briefly closing her eyes. "I've added a super special super secret ingredient!" she informed her sisters. "So they're not entirely normal cupcakes." Kinkie Pie was quite curious, but she decided not to push her sister into telling them the secret ingredient. Otherwise, of course, it would no longer be secret. As she dragged the unconscious earth filly to the large hidden cave, Pinkie Pie breathed heavily. She had gotten her supplies such as tables, tools, and even an old empty chest by either stealing them from houses and even the nearest hospital at nightfall or paying for them when she got enough bits from selling her bland cupcakes. "Hmm...What can I use?" Pinkie Pie thought to herself, staring at the filly's closed eyes. She moved her eyes to her victim's cutie mark, finally realizing how pretty cutie marks truly were. Pinkie grinned, grabbing a knife from the chest and carving a circle around her victim's mark. She slowly and carefully peeled it off, laying it on the table above the filly's head. She did this with the other cutie mark as well. Pinkie Pie had heard ponies calling this filly "Summer Haze". It made sense. Her mane was red and her hide was yellow. Pinkie never payed attention to what color Summer's eyes were. Pinkie wasn't sure what to do next. She wanted to torture the filly to make her first experience a lot more fun, but she didn't want anypony to hear the screams. Then again, she could always close the door to muffle them a little... Pinkie Pie trudged back over to the torture table, the knife in her mouth. She took it out, forcefully stabbing Summer Haze in her left side, jolting the filly awake as tears pricked at her orange eyes. Pinkie Pie carefully slid the knife out of the new deep gash, dropping it on the floor. The sound made Summer Haze flinch and look at her, her eyes wide. "What the hell was that for?! And who are you?" Pinkie Pie blinked a few times. A seemingly innocent grin slowly spread across her face. "I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can call me Pinkie Pie!" she explained. "You see, I was baking cupcakes for my sisters this morning, but they didn't seem to taste quite right. So, I--" Summer caught on immediately. "Cupcakes?!" she exclaimed. "Please tell me you're not gonna cut me open or something and use my organs as ingredients for your damn pastries and then feed them to other ponies..." "That's a great idea," Pinkie started, picking up the knife and tossing it back into the tool chest. "but Mama always said not to lie to other ponies!" "W-What?" whimpered Summer Haze, her eyes welling up with tears of pain and fear. Pinkie Pie hopped over to the tool chest, looking through it for a new weapon to use. Summer struggled in her bonds, gritting her teeth and closing her eyes tight. She only managed to rub the twine against her wrists and ankles, making them feel as if they were burning. As Summer panted heavily, Pinkie walked up to her. Haze's eyes widened when she realized what her captor was holding. "Hey, can I ask you something?" said the pink filly. "Why do they call it a hacksaw? It doesn't hack, does it? I don't get it. As far as I know, it's just a saw!" "Pinkie, please..." Summer Haze whined as she closed her eyes in defeat, struggling once more. Pinkie Pie grinned, standing up on her hind legs and placed the hacksaw's blade just above her victim's left hind leg. "Please what?" "Please let me go..." Summer answered. "I'll do anything you say and I won't tell anypony about any of this, just please--" Opening her eyes and looking at her grinning fellow earth filly, she suddenly gasped and let out a loud terrified scream. Pinkie Pie immediately frowned. "You're loud..." she spat, but her cute smile returned. "And also annoying, like me! Too bad we can only fix you though." She began sawing through Summer's leg, the captured filly letting out horrifying shrieks and screams of pain and even anger, sadness, and fear. Then, it was done. "There we go!" squeaked Pinkie Pie, untying the now severed limb and tossing it over Summer Haze's head. "Now for fixing the loudness problem." She giggled, bouncing over to the tool chest to put the hacksaw in and take some pliers, some scissors, and a needle and thread out. "Ow!" exclaimed the pink filly, accidentally cutting herself on the pair of scissors. She winced and licked her wound to clean it, narrowing her eyes in annoyance. "That's the second time today." Pinkie Pie grabbed a small stepping stool, moving it to the top of the torture table next to Summer Haze's head. Standing on it on her hind legs, Pinkie carefully placed most of her tools onto her victim's chest, keeping the pliers and forcing her mouth open. Summer tried to struggle once again, but Pinkie hit her across the face with the pliers, even loosening a few teeth. This made her whimper in pain, pulling her ears back. "Stop struggling, damn you! We're almost done!" Pinkie Pie took ahold of Summer's tongue with the pliers, slowly pulling it out of her mouth and pulling it as far as it would go. The yellow filly's eyes pricked with tears once more. "Careful..." muttered Pinkie, slowly reaching for the scissors with her free hoof. "Almost got it..." She opened up the scissors, slowly bringing the two blades around the part of Summer's tongue near her teeth. The petrified filly let out a small worried whimper. All of a sudden... Snip! As blood quickly filled her mouth, Summer Haze let out an ear-piecing scream. Turning her head to the side, she coughed loudly, attempting to spit out most of the blood. She was sobbing now. "You are so pathetic!" giggled Pinkie Pie, putting away her scissors and pliers. "That was even my first time cutting a tongue out!" Summer Haze coughed again as Pinkie grabbed the needle, thread, and cutie marks, setting them on a table about the same size as her own body. Summer Haze panted heavily, tears streaming down her cheeks. Pinkie Pie grinned, walking back up to the metal table as she held a tan rag between her teeth. "Ew, you got blood...everywhere!" she said, taking it out of her mouth and cleaning up the small mess that her victim had just spit out. Tossing the rag to the floor, Pinkie Pie walked over to the small table and grabbed the needle and thread. "Mama's been teaching me how to sew!" she announced, tapping the needle to the black plastic end of the spool. "First I'll sew the places where I removed your cutie marks, then I'll sew up your mouth! Doesn't that sound like fun?" Summer Haze felt exhausted. She didn't even bother to keep her eyes open as her captor cut an I-shaped incision down her abdomen, opening up the flaps to reveal her organs. "I feel as if I took this too seriously..." began Pinkie Pie, gently pulling out random organs and carefully placing them on a metal tray. "And maybe even too quickly. I'll slow down and have more fun with my next victim! I'll even try to find a Pegasus. That way I can rip her wings off! Ahh, this is gonna be so much fun!" As she placed Summer's heart on the organ tray, watching as it slowly stopped beating, Pinkie grabbed the needle and thread to sew up her victim's new incision. She only spent about a minute trying to figure out where she would hide the body, remembering the hidden place in the cave where there was scalding lava that would horribly burn anything that touched it to a crisp. She had tested this out before, one day throwing a rock into it when she was angry. "Well, I think this day turned out pretty successful!" Pinkie Pie said cheerfully, walking down the trail to the West Field. "I wonder if anypony's gonna notice that poor little Summer Haze is missing. But who cares? I can't wait till I get to kill my first Pegasus!" //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 4: The Pastry Ponies //-------------------------------------------------------// Part 4: The Pastry Ponies Pinkie Pie patiently waited for her new victim to wake up. The filly's name was Magic Burst. She had green eyes, a purple mane and tail, blue fur, and a cutie mark of three simple dark blue stars. Pinkie Pie's torture table was a large plank of splintery wood big enough to hold an adult pony. There were leather straps to hold the wrists and ankles. She figured out that she could attach some twine to nails that were pushed into each corner of the table to hold foals. So far she had never killed an adult, so she always had to use the twine.  She was thinking about making a separate table for fillies and colts. This was the third pony she had killed, the first one being an earth pony and the second being a Pegasus. They had all been fillies with cutie marks. She had come up with a killing method. First, cut off the cutie marks. If the victim didn't have a cutie mark, you had to pretend there was one and cut out a small circle of flesh. Second, if they were a Pegasus, you'd cut off their wings. Pinkie always spent this particular part of the playdate to torture the pony. It was her favorite part of the whole thing. Once she got bored of the torture, Pinkie decided to wrap things up and cut an I-shaped incision down the pony's abdomen so she could take all their guts out one by one and place them on a metal tray for later. So far, Pinkie Pie didn't have any assistants and didn't plan on getting any. Once she met a pony, she would knock them out to take them to her basement, as long as nopony saw her. If something serious like that were to happen, Pinkie Pie would be in serious trouble. Pinkie decided that once she killed this unicorn, she would start killing ponies around the rock farm before she moved to Ponyville and start killing innocent ponies there. Some ponies actually deserved the torture like Pinkie's mother and Glittersong. Kinkie Pie could be pretty mean, too... Maud and Kinkie were five years apart, and Pinkie Pie was born a year and a day later than Kinkie Pie. Nopony suspected anything since they were sisters. Right now, Pinkie Pie and Kinkie Pie were only eight and nine. Right as her victim was waking up, Pinkie Pie nearly jumped out of her own fur when she heard the quiet footsteps of a foal. "Hello?" It was Kinkie Pie. This would be the perfect opportunity to kill another earth filly. "Pinkie Pie, is that you?" Kinkie Pie asked. "Mama wants you to come home for dinner." Pinkie Pie quickly stood up and threw her arms out to hide her victim. "Heeeey, what are you hiding?" Kinkie asked, walking up to her younger sister and trying to look over her arms and around her head. "Hnngh...Where am I?" Magic Burst asked. Kinkie Pie jumped up and caught a glance of her sister's victim. "Why is she strapped down to that big piece of wood?" Pinkie Pie's eyes widened and her mane deflated as she scrunched up her nose. "I...She..." she began, but then took a deep breath and dropped to her knees before she started talking very fast. "You, Maud, Ma nor Pa wanted to be happy anymore so I went insane. I found a way to control my insanity and this is only my third victim! I even have a torture method! I also bake my victims into cupcakes, organs and all! Please don't tell anypony!" Magic Burst began sobbing immediately. "You're going to kill me?!" she said, almost angrily. Kinkie Pie stared up at her. "Yes. And I am, too." she replied, shocking both fillies.  Pinkie Pie's mane immediately poofed up. "You're gonna help me?" she asked breathlessly, a smile slowly spreading across her pink face. Kinkie Pie nodded with a grin. "Of course!" she said. "So, how do you start your torture method?" Pinkie squealed with joy before calming down and explaining everything to her sister. "Whoa, awesome!" Kinkie said with a laugh as Pinkie Pie handed her a scalpel. "You really thought that out, didn't you?" The whitish blue earth filly noticed the horn of the trembling Magic Burst. "You sure she won't escape?" asked Kinkie Pie in concern. "Unicorns know all sorts of freaky magic, and most of them learn pretty quickly. Hey, maybe we can use a hacksaw to cut off her horn!" Pinkie Pie trotted over to a small chest full of extra tools to grab her hacksaw. She had cut herself once when she was killing her first victim, trying to look for the knife. "Maybe you could try putting the tools you use most on your little organ tray," Kinkie Pie suggested. "You could put the organs in a metal bucket instead." Pinkie Pie held up the hacksaw and set it on the floor behind her before closing the chest's lid. "Hmm...That's not a bad idea." she said, picking up the hacksaw and walking over to her sister and their victim. Pinkie bit her lip, horizontally lining up the middle of the horn with the middle of the hacksaw's blade. She began sawing and immediately gasped and stopped when Magic Burst began wailing and screaming in pain. The Pies' ears perked up. "We're definitely doing that to future unicorns when they're still asleep." Kinkie Pie said, taking the hacksaw from her nervous sister. Ignoring the loud noise, she sawed through Magic Burst's horn. Pinkie and Kinkie watched the severed horn fall to the floor with a clink. The only noise now was Magic's heavy breathing. "So..." Kinkie Pie hesitantly began, laying the hacksaw on Pinkie Pie's clean organ tray. "The cutie marks are next, yes?" Pinkie smiled, trotting over to the tool chest to get the scalpel. She grinned as she cut a circle around Magic Burst's left cutie mark, making her whine and tear up. "Y'know," Pinkie said. "It's kinda fun workin' with you. I always saw you as just a really mean pony that nobody liked. You have so many great ideas and I've never had any assistants before, so I'm proud to call you my first!" Before she handed her sister the scalpel to do the other cutie mark, they shared a hug. "You're not so bad yourself, Pinkamena," Kinkie Pie said, jabbing the scalpel into Magic Burst's side and causing her to let out a sharp yelp. "Er, Pinkie Pie. Heh. I'd love to work with you from now on!" Pinkie clapped in joy. "Hey, what do we do with the cutie marks again?" asked Kinkie, holding up the mark she had cut out. Pinkie froze. She hadn't yet thought about what to do with the cutie marks. She just liked the designs and decided to save them! "Um..." she started, her mind legitimately blank. "We...c-could..." Then, a great idea popped into her mind. "We could turn them into clothes once we get enough!" she squealed. "That's genius!" Kinkie Pie said. "I never would've thought of that! But sadly, we'll have to only wear them in here or ponies will start to get sups-ishish." Pinkie Pie's lip trembled in fake sadness. "Yeah..." she said sadly before immediately perking up. "Wait! I just remembered! This is the fun part, and my personal favorite." Kinkie Pie grinned, but then turned her gaze toward the trembling Magic Burst. Kinkie filled her expression with pure insanity and malice, narrowing her eyes and grinning wide. Pinkie Pie hopped over to the tool chest. "I do that all the time!" she squeaked. "Maybe now we can call it 'The Pie Sisters Grin'! What do you think?" Kinkie Pie nodded enthusiastically. "Anyway, this is the torture part," said Pinkie. "What do you think we should do first?" This snapped Kinkie Pie out of her thoughts. "Well...I've always wanted to break a pony's wrist." she replied. Pinkie Pie smiled. "Go ahead! Knock yourself out." she said cheerfully, and lifted Kinkie Pie up onto the torture table after turning it horizontal with the rusty metal lever. Kinkie Pie pressed her hooves hard onto Magic Burst's right wrist, attempting to break it. "It's not working..." she complained, letting Magic's hoof turn from bruise purple back to light blue again. She stood up and began stomping on Magic Burst's hoof, angrily trying to shatter the bone. Magic Burst let out a squeal of horror and pain right after Kinkie and Pinkie heard a barely audible crack. The sisters looked at each other in shock. "Holy cupcakes, you did it!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly. Magic Burst whimpered in pain, pulling her ears back. Kinkie Pie grinned. "Hey, Pinkie," she began. "Have you come up with a way you're gonna get the pony?" Pinkie looked at her. "What do you mean?" she asked. "I mean like...a system! For future victims," Kinkie answered, and Pinkie Pie shook her head. "Maybe, we could draw numbers. We could write the pony's name on a little piece of paper with a number next to it." "Oh, yes!" Pinkie Pie said excitedly, bouncing up and down. "We also need a way to tell if they're a foal and what species they are." Kinkie shrugged. "Colored lines, maybe?" she asked. "We could also put the papers in one of Mama's little straw baskets. We might write all this down on a piece of paper to hang over the basket so we won't forget." "Oh my Celestia, I love your ideas!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed, bouncing around the room. Kinkie Pie grinned. "Then it's settled." she said. Magic Burst wiggled around, trying to get out of her bonds. "Just let me out already, you stupid brats!" she exclaimed. Pinkie Pie narrowed her eyes, but she continued smiling. "Not with that attitude." she said. She grabbed a pair of pliers from the tool chest. "W-What are you doing?" Magic asked, becoming extremely scared. "W-What are you going to do?" Pinkie grinned, standing up to reach Magic Burst's face. "Your struggling only makes it more fun!" the pink earth filly said, holding up the pliers to Magic's mouth. "Kinkie, hold her mouth open." Kinkie Pie leaped up onto the torture table to force and keep Magic Burst's jaws open with her hooves. The petrified unicorn filly whined in a high pitched tone when Pinkie Pie clasped the pliers around one of her front teeth. Magic nearly passed out when Pinkie spoke. "We're gonna play dentist! Hee-hee! Do you value your teeth?" "Nooo!" Magic squealed around Kinkie's hooves, squeezing her eyes shut tight. Magic Burst yelped sharply in pain when Pinkie Pie pulled out each of her teeth with a quick jerk of the pliers. "That's good!" Pinkie said nonchalantly, acting as if Magic had actually answered her question. "Because I know somepony who does more!" She made a squee noise. The Pie sisters watched each of the snow-white pony teeth fell to the floor with a tink. By the end, Magic Burst was a whimpering, crying mess. Pinkie Pie giggled maniacally. "D-Do you enjoy other ponies' pain, y-you psychopath?!" Magic Burst sobbed with a sniffle. Pinkie smiled. "Of course I do!" she laughed nonchalantly. "Why else do you think I'd be doing this?" Magic Burst spit the blood out of her mouth. "Have you ever wanted to see your teeth?" Pinkie Pie asked, cupping her hooves after she picked up some of Magic's teeth. "I like your teeth, they're super pretty. I even might make a necklace out of them." "You should make a necklace out of unicorn horns, too!" Kinkie Pie said. "You can add it to your first cutie mark outfit!" Pinkie made a squee noise. "I should, I should!" she squealed. "Magic Burst's teeth and horn will be the first part of the necklaces!" Magic Burst sobbed, pulling her ears back and closing her eyes. "Have you ever thought about the eyes?" asked Kinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie gasped excitedly, running over to the tool chest to grab a knife. She forced Magic Burst's left eyelids open and began cutting out her eye. "AAAH!" Magic screamed. "Stop, stop! Please stop! Just fucking stop!" "Ooh, what a potty mouth!" Kinkie Pie said, half paying attention to her sister pulling the eyeball out of their victim's eye socket. "We'll have to do something about that." Since the optic nerve wasn't too damaged, Burst could still see Pinkie Pie even if she closed her good eye. Her vision was a little off, but it felt as if she was seeing Pinkie in a nightmare sort of realm. "Have you ever wanted to see yourself without using a mirror?" Pinkie Pie asked, turning Magic Burst's eye around to her own face. "Hee-hee! How's it look, Bursty?" She used the scalpel to cut around and out the optic nerve. "Perhaps we'll have to take her tongue out, too!" she said, cleaning off the knife with a small piece of what looked like grey pony flesh. Magic Burst trembled, trying once again to break out of her bonds. "SOMEPONY HELP!" she screamed, but Pinkie giggled. The pink earth filly grabbed some pliers. "I made this place soundproof!" she laughed. "Helpful, no?" "No!" Magic Burst whined. Kinkie Pie forced the unicorn victim's jaws open. "Well, I think it is." Pinkie Pie said, pulling at Magic's tongue with the pliers. Magic Burst began sobbing loudly when Pinkie Pie sliced through her tongue with the scissors. "This wouldn't have happened if you hadn't swore at us!" sang Pinkie with a grin. Pinkie Pie set her tools on the new 'Tool Tray' and looked at her sister. "Should we finish up?" she asked. Kinkie Pie nodded. Pinkie Pie filled a syringe with her special numbing medicine and injected it into Magic's chest. Pinkie grabbed the knife again and Kinkie watched carefully as she cut two short-ish lines on Magic Burst's abdomen, one just below her ribcage and one just above her crotch, connecting them with a cut down the middle. She opened up the flaps to reveal her organs. "Ooh!" Kinkie Pie said in awe as Pinkie Pie began taking out the organs one by one. Kinkie watched to see if her sister had some sort of pattern so she could learn it herself. For only being eight years old, Pinkie Pie was pretty smart and skilled. Placing the heart in the bucket, Pinkie Pie looked up at her and her sister's work. "You're not a bad assistant." Pinkie said, looking over at Kinkie Pie. They high-hoofed, but froze as they heard the hoofsteps of a foal. Kinkie Pie motioned for Pinkie Pie to be quiet before they hid behind a small table. Maud Pie looked around the room in awe. "Wow, I respect whoever made this..." she said softly, and Pinkie and Kinkie looked at each other in shock. "I wouldn't mind helping them." "M-Maud..." Kinkie Pie said slowly, stepping up from behind the table. "W-We did this..." As Kinkie Pie helped Pinkie get up, Maud turned around to face her younger sisters. "You did this?" the grey 14-year-old filly asked. "This... This is awesome!" Her exclamation made Pinkie and Kinkie flinch. "Yeah!" Kinkie Pie said with a laugh. "Do you wanna help us kill our next pony? We can call ourselves...The Pastry Ponies! The Pastry Pies? Nah, I like Pastry Ponies better." Maud grinned. "Sure!" she answered. "Who is it?" Kinkie Pie smiled awkwardly. "We haven't drawn out our number system yet," she began. "But you can help us and pick out our next pony!" Maud smirked, pulling back an ear. "Absolutely. Now what's your torture method?"
