I’ve got a bad feeling about this
It was early in the morning on the planet of Lothal as I was just waking up from a “decent” night rest. I rose out of my bed and got dressed. I was wearing a gray t shirt a pair of dark colored jeans a leather trench coat a pair of tennis shoes a black cap and a camouflage bandana that hid just under the collar of my trench coat. After I had gotten dressed I walked over to the cot where I had spent the last week sleeping and grabbed my light saber. The frame was made out of fric alloy with rubber coating most of the weapon. I turned it on. The dark purple blade was rare in the former Jedi order and now it was especially rare and valuable that's why I always wore a trench coat (except on planets like jaku). Now to explained a little about my past…my name is Aiden Pearce (yes I couldn't think of another name just shut up) I was part of the Jedi who was able to escape order 66 after that I went into hiding until I joined the rebellion they gave me a spot in their ranks with Luke Skywalker and they gave me my own X-wing which I heavily modified so that I could fit a cloaking device into somehow. Once the high in command herd about this they thought that I was a genius and then ordered that a small squad of X-wings be created for stealth missions and flanking attacks. Any way I was walking over to the cafeteria tent, ate and walked out and as soon as I walked out of the tent the warning sirens started to go off.
“Be advised enemy Star Destroyers have come out of hyperspace all members of Red, Blue, and Ghost squadron report to your respected hangers and prepare for battle”.
The sound of TIE fighters and X-wings battling it out in the vacuum of space was the only thing heard in the air space over Lothal as Rebel ships attempted to take control of the imperial controlled planet. There was a certain squad of X-wings that was one of the most important to the Rebel fleet, the ghost squadron. This squadron of X-wings was fitted with cloaking devices (kinda like that ship from the clone wars but with the cloaking device being smaller and in a star fighter).
“All right, Ghost Squad form up behind me and prepare to open fire” I said as about 5 other X-wings formed up behind me.
“Ghost 1 checking in”
“Ghost 2 checking in”
“Ghost 3 checking in”
“Ghost 4 checking in”
“Ghost 5 checking in”
“Ghost leader checking in” I finished as the squad activated the cloaking devices.
We flew by the Rebel fleet and into the battlefield TIE fighters and X-wings fighting each other at mach speeds. Neither paying us any mind.
“You know” Ghost 3 said over the closed channel radio “It's kinda surreal being in the battlefield and having TIE fighters not shooting us”
I chuckled “I agree entirely Ghost 3”
We soon were passing under Imperial star destroyers and positioning the squad about 3 miles away from the back of the Imperial fleet.
“Ok everyone knows their targets” I asked there was a general acceptance that everyone knew their targets. “Alright decloak and fire at will” I said as I decloaked and fired all of my ion torpedoes at what appeared to be the imperial flagship. They hit the main engine and it started to blow up.
I smirked “Mission accomplished” I committed to myself. I paused as i saw one TIE fighter but this wasn't just any TIE…this … was lord vader’s TIE.
“Squad tighten up” I said over the radio “Lord Vader had arrived”
I started to prep the blaster cannons that were mounted on the wings of the X-wing.
“Squad...fire at will” I commanded.
The entire squad of 6 X-wings opened fire at Vader’s TIE while Vader just dodged all of the laser bolts and then fired bolts back at us. I could hear the explosions coming from behind me as the X-wings of Ghost 4 and 5 were taken down. I glared at the TIE fighter as I opened the throttle on my X-wing. As I started to quickly accelerate towards the TIE fighter I fired a volley of laser bolts towards the TIE fighter after I had fired the bolts the TIE flew passest us. I made a high G turn and started chasing Vader’s TIE the rest of my squad following my lead. I fired another volley of laser bolts towards the TIE and agen vader just dodged all of the bolts. Then quickly turned around and fired 4 ion missiles towards my squad.
“Evasive maneuvers” I cried over the radio as I veered right into another high G turn Ghost 1, 2, and 3 weren't that lucky as I felt the explosions from the ion missiles.
I closed my eyes “You're going to pay for that” I seethed to myself as I glared in the direction that I had last seen the TIE fighter but it wasn't their.
“What” I exclaimed “Where did it go?” the entire X-wing shook violently as the main computer started to beep loudly.
“Waning hyperdrive externally activated, navicomputer is offline and hyperspace stabilizers damaged” the computer said in a monotone voice. My heart started to race as I did everything I could to deactivate the hyperdrive but is waste late.
“Hyperspace jump commencing” the computer stated as I was slammed against the back of my seat due to the immense acceleration caused by making the jump hyperspace and soon I blacked out.
(meanwhile)
“I sense a disturbance” said a navy blue alicorn she looked to her older sister, a white alicorn, she nodded as they both turned towards the night sky. (“hey that's...ugh...racist” said a random person who probably has better things to do. I take out a lightsaber and ignite it. Chaos ensues.)
