Mission 1 - The Beginning
Dear Commander Night Light,
I write to you because you’re the only hope left, that I can count on. Equestria is down in chaos and war is nearly everywhere. I want you to travel around Equestria, defeat the troublemakers and bring the old alliance back together. I have the feeling that some bigger evil is coming soon. You should start your mission around Ponyville.

New building: Light weapon factory (normal vehicle factory)
Arriving near Ponyville, Night Lights landing base is set up. It consists of one HQ, some bit silos, some tank traps and one small base defense turret with an ion gun. There is no bit resource field to be seen, so Night Light has to deal with the 4250 bits that are stored in the silos to complete this mission. The only thing left to at least encounter the unknown enemy is to build the light weapon factory to produce vehicles to scout the map. 750 bits spent so far. After the building is finished in the HQ it’s placed near it. Night Light gives order to produce three jeep wiesel with an MG mounted on top of it and 4 Panzerspähwagen (PSW) dingo with an ion gun. The wiesel costs 250 bits each, the dingo with ion gun 370. After the first 2 jeeps left the factory they are sent left and right of the base to explore the map. Suddenly a sound of an engine can be heard but Night Light weasels reached their destination and weren’t moving. Two moments later a green jeep with a laser gun showed up. It starts to attack one of Night’s wiesels.
*BOOM!* *Alarm* + Sie liegen unter feindlichem Feuer! + *Alarm*
The other wiesel from Night Light is also engaging the enemy one. *Peng!* *Boom!* *Peng!* *Boom!* Smoke starts erupting from the green wiesel, and, after just a few more shots from the blue ones, the enemy explodes, torn into pieces that are sent airbone, but will never do any further damage. More vehicles are being produced and sent to the other end of the base. Engine sounds again. On the flank where the freshly produced dingos are going an enemy PSW with MG and another jeep with laser gun are showing up. An intense fight starts and Night’s dingos destroy the enemy ones without any friendly loses. On the other flank however two enemy dingos with ion guns stand against two half dead jeeps from Night Light with MG guns. One PSW is damaged badly and it starts to smoke before the 2 jeeps vanish from the map. The enemy dingos are switching targets and begin to attack the bit silos.
*Alarm* + Unsere Basis wird angegriffen! + *Alarm*
There are still some vehicles left in front of the light weapon factory. All of them are send to deal with the attacking enemy force. After a quick battle without any loses on Night’s side, all of his mobile army is going to do a pincer maneuver around a very big rock formation. One jeep with MG and 4 ion gun PSW meeting on the other side together. Then they cross a flat river and spot two green enemy buildings. One light weapon factory and one bit silo. The factory has a silver symbol on its sides. It showes apples and cheese. The enemy is Wensley!
After both structures are destroyed, the first mission is ending with success.
Night Light’s Diary – Day 1
Equestria has become different. It was once a peaceful and happy land where ponies and other creatures could live with one another. Over the last decade however everything changed dramatically. Ponies stared to fight each other, small fights escalated into huge wars and the Princesses could do nothing!!

New buildings:
This time Night light starts with a fully operational base himself. HQ, bit mine, magic pump, light weapon factory and a light ion gun turret to defend one of the base entrances. He also has three vehicles to start with. One jeep wiesel with a laser gun, 1 dingo with a dual laser gun and a pioneer vehicle. These are used to get resources fields that are out of one’s base building radius. But the base is missing one important building: a power plant! So 700 bits spend to produce one in the HQ.

After the building is placed, Night spends 1100 bits to build the new research lab. He also orders the jeep to guide the left base entrance as the dingo is sent near the magic pump to overlook the canyon of any foes.

The lab is placed near the bit mine and Night starts to research a single barel cannon for 500 bits. While he is doing that, engine sounds make themselves hearable. The PSW spots a green jeep with MG and opens fire with its dual laser.
*Pfew* *Pfew* The jeep turns this gun and returns fire. *Boom*
The jeep climbs up the canyon hill to the right base entrance and is soon out of the field of fire from the dingo. However climbing up the hill means the green enemy makes himself visible for the ion gun turret. He takes aim and fires 3 shots in total to destroy it.

Nice! A new toy to play with , Night Light thinks to himself. He spends 500 bits at the light weapon factory to reinforce the armor strength of the PSW and 300 bits at the HQ to do the same with the light base turrets. After some time he does that again and once the research is finished he spends 700 bits to produce a two times upgraded light base turret with a cannon that can now (thanks to the research) shoots farer and does more damage.
Leichter Geschützturm fertiggestellt +What is that for a bloody weapon?! Night screams internally. The turret opens fire and nearly takes out one of the dingos. Its left smoking heavily before the jeep kills it, only to be taken out by the second PSW. That leaves the second enemy and the turret in a one versus one duel. Through the steady base defender has more range than the dingos weapon, so he opens fire first. A nasty impact takes a lot of health from the vehicle and the turret is still not in his reach. The PSW moves to get closer but is shortly taken out for good afterwards. After that battle, Night looks up in the research lab to find anything out about the weapon he has just seen. On the far right hand site of the research tab states a weapon, ready for development - if you spend 300 bits - that’s called ‘Mortar’.
Night Light wants 3 more cannon turrets and orders to produce 10 cannon dingos at the light weapon factory. After some time has passed two more turrets where ready to place. Night decides that these two should be placed near the magic pump to help the dingo with the canyon. Suddenly a new voice can be heard. Like tracks running over ground … 2 moments later a green light tank with ion gun moves through the canyon, trying to get to Night’s base. The PSW and the 2 turrets open fire, the impacts are devastating, though the tank still can return fire for one time. With one more shot from one of the cannons the ‘Panzer Dachs’ explodes in a furious lightshow. The last turret is placed on the left base entrance and soon the vehicle productions starts. Some time and some attacks of dingos with mortars or light tanks with ion gun and the loss of the dual laser PSW later, Night Light’s army is ready to rock!
He sends the 10 cannon dingos through the canyon where they encounter two light tanks. Because of the combined fire power of ten fully researched weapons the damage is enormous and soon the panzers where gone. They climb the hill on the other side of the hill only to be welcomed by one turret and one tank, both monted with an ion gun. The battle is short but quite intense. 2 dingos are to 30% of their health. The vehicles move on, further into the base of the enemy. The tankfactory is the first building they encounter. Its chimneys are smoking and some producing sound can be heard from the inside. The dingos opens fire and the factory is badly damaged, but its front gate still opens. This time a dachs with a double barrel MG comes out. It makes an entrance like a superhero, because shortly after its starts moving out, the factory explodes and collapses behind him into a pile of dust, smoke and fire. The tank opens fire at the badly damages dingos and take them both out, before the dachs vanishes from the map. The rest of Night’s army in now in “fire at will” mode and shoots every building they come across.
First the light weapon factory, then the research lab, then the power plant. Production noises fill the air again. What is Wensley planning now? Night Light thinks to himself. Shorty after the dingos took out some bits silos and magic tanks (like in the bit silos, some of the magic is stored in them) the enemy HQ makes itself visible. The PSW’s circle it and fire shot after shot at it. Suddenly a base turret with double MG is placed in between them and it opens fire at the weakest dingo it could find. Two more dingos explode into metal shrapnel before the turret is down. The six that are left starting to take down Wenselys HQ for good. A massive explosion erupts from the HQ’s depts and it vanishes from the map in a spectral lightshow and sharp metal pieces are send airbourne all over the place. One of the pieces unfortunately hits one of the dingos right in the cockpit. It’s badly damaged and reduced to 20% health but dingo, weapon and pilot are still alive and ready for further orders from Night Light.
The base is literally destroyed but the mission is not over jet. Why not? Night questions himself. He sends his army to the left side of the earlier base. Soon pumping sound can be recognized, which means there is an enemy magic pump somewhere. Soon after, the said building is spotted and destroyed, but the mission is still running. “WHY?!” Night screams into the air. Then it is like a light bulb is going on in his head. Wensley had no bit mine in this base. So it must be somewhere else! And with that thought from the table, Night Light sends his army to another small canyon pass that was located a bit further from the magic pump.
Soon mining sounds can be heard. Found you! Night laughs madly to himself. Suddenly a small green ball appears out of the dark, its flying straight into the dingo that barely managed to survive the HQ explosion, is now killed because of that. + Sie liegen unter feindlichem Feuer! + The five dingos that are left are spotting a small turret with ion gun and opens fire at him. Soon the turret is gone and some metal pieces are flying wildly around. One of them hits the bit mine and it’s enough to kill the building, with the help of the dingos cannon fire.
Night Light’s Diary – Day 3
Well … another mission, another victory for peace in Equestria once again. I really, really hope that the kingdom is only one of a few places where shit is going down like this. I don’t like the current state of war and trouble everywhere. I want calm times and days back that I could spend with my wife Velvet or my kids.

the last military base of Wensley before Equestria is liberated once more is placed on a very good defended high plateau. Your task will be to build up a strong army to take down this last defense of evil inside Equestria.

New options: - Panzer Panther
The mission starts and Night Light has a fully operational base with everything needed ready. Except for research lab, tankfactory and some base turrets, everything is there. Even two dingos with mortar and one pioniervehicle are available. But too soon engine sounds can be heard. WTF? That early?! How and why?! Night questions himself pretty confused. 5 seconds later a green jeep wiesel with MG appears. The dingos are engaging but their weapons don’t have the range to fire at the foe yet, so the jeep turns his gun and opens fire. *Alarm* + Sie liegen unter feindlichem Feuer! + *Alarm* The commander orders to produce two base turrets with ion gun and the dingos can open fire themselves now. The grenades are lauched but the jeep is pretty fast. One projectile hits its target, the other one is avoided by a quick doging maneuver from the Wiesel. The fight goes on a bit until the Wiesel is too far away from the dingos again. The jeep is switching targets and attacks now Nights magic pump. Luckily just in time to … + Leichter Geschützturm fertig gestellt + The turret is placed directly in the near of the pump, its spots the enemy again and opens fire with his ion gun. After a quick duel, nothing remains from the earlier foe. The second turret is finished and placed on the other base entrance.
The dingos are getting order from Night Light to move out and escort the pioniervehivle to maybe claim, unclaimed resource fields. They soon spot a bridge and one dingo is left there to guide it. The other two vehicles are driving up a hill, where the PSW reaches the top first and spots another magic field. The “resource claimer” is slowly making its way uphill and gets order to park near the just spotted field. The Dingo on top of the hill scouts the region a bit more and spots another bit field as also a narrow canyon alley. The pioniervehicle moves to the bit field to claim it first. So Night orders the HQ to produce 1 bit mine, 1 magic pump, 2 more turrets with ion gun and some storage buildings. While the PSW on the hill guides the canyon alley, the one near the bridge encounters one of Wensleys dingos with ion gun. The fight is intense until one grenade hits the gun directly and it explodes. The enemy is still alive but it has no chance of defending itself anymore. After 2 more mortar impacts the green PSW is gone.
Xenit Mine fertiggestellt + The bit mine is ready for action. It’s placed on the outside field and the pioniervehicle ‘converts’ into a pionierbase. Soon the rest of the buildings are following. One turret is guiding the canyon with one of the dingos, while the other is placed near the magic pump to overlook the hill that leads up to that resource plateau. In the meantime the dingo that guides the bridge runs out of luck, when he stands against a panzer dachs. The tank is healthier and has the better gun when it comes to range duels, so one of Nights dingos is K.I.A. Its starts to head off to the main base but its attack is repelled by the turrets.
“Okay, my economy is good and steady. I think it’s time to get the research and the army production started” Night says to himself. He orders the HQ to produce the research lab for AA guns and cannons for 1100 bits and a tankfactory for 1500. Soon both buildings are ready for their tasks, when Night sees a small problem incoming. I need more power plants! Two are ordered and very soon ready to be placed. That’s when Night Lights spots something interesting. Near the hill where one magic pump is sitting, doing nicely its job, in the canyon below that only Night Light could reach and see a faint shimmer of blue escapes the ‘shadow of war’. Two more storage buildings and a third magic pump are ordered. A few moments later Night Light has his own ‘energy canyon’ with a magic pump and 2 power plants around it.
Forschungslabor für Flak und Kanonen fertiggestellt + “I think the most effective way is to get panzers and panzerwagen (PW) wolf’s equipped with cannons.” Night Light says over the tactical thoughts, how to break the enemy’s base once more. So orders are down. Get the PW wolf researched in the light weapon factory (LWF), same for the tankfactory (that’s facing the other base entrance) and the ‘Panzer Panther’. Shortly after the lab finished research on the small single barrel cannon for 500 bits, a new ‘toy’ is visible on the research tab. ‘Twin Cannon’ it says. Cost: 750 bits, weapon category: B. So medium vehicles like Wolf and Panther can carry it. “Yay!” Night squeals, full of happiness. After some time, more research and more repelled attacks from Wensley (sadly one of them went over the canyon, so that the last mortar dingo is also K.I.A.), the tank and the PW are having both of their armor upgrades complete and same goes for the twin cannon. Its range and damage are now 20% cooler.
Suddenly track noises. They are heavier than the ones that a dachs produces. Night’s jaw crushes through the earth beneath him, when he laid his eyes on the new threat that comes into his view. A bloody green panther with a mini gun on its weapon place!! “FUCK!!” Night Light screams. “It seems I’m not the only one that has done researching. I need better turrets for this!” So NL rushes to the HQ and orders to finish the armor upgrades on the small turret. When it’s done a new turret is ready to be developed. ‘Medium turret’, research costs: 500 bits, needs weapons of category B. “Damn! I don’t have the time to do this now, when there is an enemy right at my front gates!!” (Well, no shit, Sherlock!) *Light bulb moment* “Okay. I think this can do it. HQ: One light turret with single cannon, now!! And LWF: I want a PW wolf with the twin cannon! I wonna see that new baby in action!!” Night shouts and afterwards a small smirk is visible on his face.
The enemy panther in driving near the base and opens up fire on the light ion gun turret that tries so guide the base as best as he can. *Boom* *Rat-tat-tat* *Alarm* + Unsere Gebäude werden beschossen! + *Alarm* “It seems that Wensley hasn’t got any weapon upgrades … yet” Night states. The enemy tank is advancing non-stop because the turret is not really effective against such a threat. It’s starting to smoke badly soon hoping to get some reinforcements pretty soon. His prayers should be answered. + Leichter Geschützturm fertig gestellt. + The turret is placed next to the smoking one, it swings his cannon around and fires. More effective as the ion gun, but still not good enough. Sadly the ion turret doesn’t survive, as chucks of metal are send flying everywhere, when it vanishes explosive from the map.
The panther that lost around 40% of its health is now switching targets and opens fire on the next defender. That’s when … + Panzerwagen Wolf verlässt die Fabrik. + A massive armoured vehicle comes out of the LWF gates, its double barreled cannon imitiadly taking aim at the enemy tank and when it has a clear line of fire … *Ka – two orange projectiles (with black smoke trails behind them) are flying in the direction of the panther and impacting with a deafing noise – Boom* It takes at least one third of the remaining health from the foe away and smoke begins to erupt from it. “WOW!” Night Light is simply buffed from this new weapon. “I need more of them!”
After some time passes and more tank attacks are repelled, the medium turret is fully researched and at least one of them is guiding each base entrance. Night Light has also built up his army by now. It consists 5 panthers and 4 wolfs with the twin cannon. 3 of the tanks are getting send to the left entrance, which is still unexplored from Night Light. The main force of 2 panthers and wolfs are arriving at the bridge to guide from any other foe that tries to cross it, while the remaining 2 PWs are send to the 2nd bit mine, where also a canyon awaits to be discovered. The forces on the flanks are beginning their advance when the main force is confronted by another minigun panther, but it doesn’t do any great damage to the mobile bridge defenders. After that attack the 4 guardians are switching into attack mode and make their move on the steel water crossing.
While the flanks still moving forward, without meeting any enemy resistance yet, the center main push spots two light base turrets with double barreled MG’s on top on the other end of the bridge. But because the twin cannon is one weapon category higher that the double MG, the force of Night Light can open fire sooner than the defenders. And while the turrets are not really a obstacle to overcome, the sheer firepower of the twin cannons just rip the defenders quickly apart and into flying metal pieces, some of them landing with a loud *splash* in the water below the bridge.
While the main attack is rolling toward the enemy again, the right hand side had still not met any foe. The left side however spots a roadblock with a lot of tank traps and again two double MG turrets. (Info: In Thandor tank traps and (high) walls are roadblocks. But they can remove their “obstacle” so they can let only your mobile units through. If you want to enter an enemy base that’s blocked by such a thing, you have to destroy the roadblock first.) So the 3 panthers are just doing that right now. Some of the traps are destroyed but not enough to let any tank through yet. But then the turrets open fire on the tank in front. Night Light’s panthers are switching targets and ‘return the favour’. Soon the roadblock is just dust and ashes and the small tank group advances again. Pumping sounds … “I guess I hit home!” Night Lights says to himself with an evil grin on his face.
The right flank is still moving through the canyon and still no foes. The middle push faces another double MG turret. He’s quickly taken care of and the way splits into halfway left and halfway right in front of a massive rock formation. Night Light decides to send the panthers to the left and the wolfs are send to the right hand side of the obstacle. Soon the left flank is moving in and spots an enemy magic pump while the split up wolfs, coming from the north of the pump, are spotting a power plant. The tanks from the left flank are obliterating the pump with devastating cannon fire hits. The power plant lives through the same fate. Soon the ‘energy district’ of Wensleys base is reduced to ashes. The ‘left side army’ gets order to follow the panthers that went deeper into enemy territory to reinforce them.
Finally the right flank can also dive into action. They hear mining sounds and ten seconds later a green bits mine stays in front of them, awaiting the heavy cannon fire. “Jackpot!!” Night Light screams with joy. A bit later the mine explodes like a firework rocket. Sounds of some enemy building produce something are hearable. The main push has a bit of trouble, there is a minigun panther in front of them. He seems to be weapon and armor upgraded. A hell of a fight but both tanks can eliminate the foe before it does too much damage on them. They keep waiting to let the reinforcements arrive. The main force of NLs troops push deeper into the base and destroy the tankfactory and the enemy research lab on its way. The right hand side tries to also move up to the main push, when suddenly … A medium base turret with minigun is placed in the path of the two wolfs. Its gun starts to wire to life and also starts sawing into the PWs.
Here comes the major disadvantage of the wolfs into play. They are more like heavy armored scouts with medium mobility and medium weapons. They can survive a battle or two but they are not built to lead a major attack against heavy defending forces. The PWs returning fire as best as they can and luckily for them the major push comes to back them up, otherwise there could have been some loses. After the last defender is eliminated, the army of Night Light is destroying the few buildings that are left. To those count some storage silos and tanks, a LWF and the enemy HQ. As soon the HQ vanishes with a loud KABOOM from the map, the mission is successfully accomplished and Equestria is liberated once again.
Night Light’s Diary – Day 6
Yay! Equestria is free again. It was not easy all the time. I’ve had my troubles here and there, but I did it. I really want to thank my pilots for all their work and they really deserve a day off after all that happened over the last week.

Thandor – The Equestrian Invasion
Once upon a time, Nightmare Moon, a cruel and warlike pony, began to enslave various lands, including Equestria, an alliance was founded to fight against her. The war that followed waged a long time from one side to another until the alliance finally defeated the evil and banished her to the moon. Since that great victory 1000 years has passed and the once closed alliance is scattered by havoc and corruption. Chaos and destruction followed suit, the ones that were allied earlier became bitter enemies and the shining star of the alliance faded. All aspirations from the last loyal troops of the alliance to bring it back to its old strength hold place in the shadows. Until now …
