the land of equestria was hosting it's first dragon warrior festival to choose the dragon warrior.

twilight was writing up some reports for her mentor princess celestia  when she when to mail them her dad asked her to go cater the event.

twilight was more than happy to oblige.

"okay dad," she said to him. " I will"

when she arrived at the newly constructed jade palace she saw the new furious five of equestria being introduced.

grand master oogway looked at his student and with a heart filled chuckle he stated to shifu.

" the dragon warrior is here but the universe will not tell me who it is as it is unclear on who it might be"  he said.

"yes, well" master shifu cleared his throat and introduced the five.

"here is master dash master of rain boom style." shifu stated as master rainbow dash created her signature sonic rainboom in the shape of the yin-yang symbol.

"next we have master's pie and belle masters of fun and talent styles."master shifu stated.

the two masters of fun style and talent preformed their signature attacks.

"next we have master shy and master apple masters of both my daughters tiger style and stare and the harvest technique" master shifu stated. the final two masters preformed there moves and stood at attention before master shifu, master tigress and master oogway.

"and now master oogway will now chose the dragon warrior." master shifu stated. when a faint scream was heard and a purple and lavender colored women fell from the sky after having the noodle cart get blown up.

the women fell in front of oogway and got up with a groan.

master oogway  pondered.

"HMM interesting" he mused.

"your pointing at me, right?" asked master rainbow dash.

"her" oogway stated.

"her" asked shifu in confusion.

"yes shifu, the universe has brought us the dragon warrior of equestria." stated grandmaster oogway.

"WHAT?!?" came a collected number of voices. including master shifu, his daughter co-master of the jade palace of equestria just chuckled as she remembered that she reacted the same way when her mate po ping of the valley of peace was chosen.

"we have failed you master shifu" said master rainbow dash.

"no you haven't I have failed you five- WILL YOU STOP RINGING THE GONG?" shouted shifu.

and later master tigress when to talk with the equestrian dragon warrior.

"some experience huh?" she asked kindly.

"in away master tigress yes and no." said twilight sparkle sadly.

"in what way?" tigress asked.

"well for one thing I was a big fan of the furious five and I still am a huge fan. but I don't think they want me to be there."
