"Good my child, you are a quick at learning which will serve you well, but for your journey to continue you will need to cross the sea" the little changeling gave a scared shriek of fear, every changeling knows of the fear of deep water as their Chechen armor would drag them down to depths and to certain death.  Evan with his knowledge of magic and the spells which could allow him to breath under water, this fear was in every changelings mind as a survival trait. But despite this reaction the Queen could feel the determined and resolve of the little changeling "if it means I can do my part than I do not care, I can always use my magic but I would prefer to be above the water if I can, as I get the feeling I can not just fly to the land of Equestria?"

The Queen laughs at this which made the changeling feel a lot better. "no my child, as I am sure you want to leave as soon as possible, you would have to wait for the winds to change but I do believe you can use your magic, when you leave this hive you will have to travel by a raft as there are trees up on the surface" the changeling tilted his head in confusion as The queen chirped and squeaked in vespid

now as you have probably guessed I have tried my best to give everyone in the hive an Equestrian name and as you dear reader probably can not read vespid so if one of my family is reading this or one of my kind than I am sorry for any insulting feelings you may have, but this is the language I use now.

the Queen asked for Frost, the name stuck in my mind I had heard this name around from time to time, generally in a mocking way like.

"O that must be one of frost as its just broke", things like that. Acutely I believe it was out of Jealousy as he was the chief building artitec, and was the overseer of the building cast. He came into the chamber through a hole in the ceiling and dropped to the ground using his wings to turn and to slow his descent, as soon as he was upon the ground he chirped in vespid "yes my Queen, what can this one do for you"(he gave her a bow out of respect) even though he meant this I could still feel his fear, but he manage to keep his out ward Compuserve.

"Yes Frost I have an important task for you, this is Paul and I need you and your best workers to go to the surface and build one of theses" my mother's horn lite up in a green aura and a scroll came floating out of what I would suspect was her sleeping chambers, the scroll was placed in front of Frost, he then proceeded to unravel it, as he glanced over the scrolls constants his eyes widened at what he saw.

"Is their a problem?" Mother said in an inquisitive manner, "yes my Queen there's a problem, the griffons have been more active than normal and our scouts have reported that they may be wanting to expand their territory, and all the main materials such as wood can only be found on the surface, and even I could not forces our builders to take on such a task for fear of them showing the damned creatures our home, as they will try to gain access to the hatchery, and I do not want that on my consensus let alone on any of my cast" he said in a disappointed tone.

"I will have our troops ready, and you and your cast members will have an escort, you will have Paul with you as well, I take it you have heard of him?" she somehow managed to say in a motherly but dangerous tone of voice, "I meant no disrespect my Queen, but if my workers are to go top side it would help them to know what part of warrior cast will accompanied us, as my cast are not as adept at fighting griffon as some like to boost," frost lowers his head in respect and sham, "I know my child, you have not offended me, I just have a lot to think about (she give the changeling a smile) I will send seven of the onclave troops along with you, they have the knowledge of spell casting and fighting that can only be rivaled by Paul,"

Paul tried his best not to blush and failed as his wings gave a tell tail little flutter, thankfully mother continued "so frost will this be satisfactory? As the tunnel you will use is on the western side of our land, you should not have problems with griffon's or any others."

Frost took this news with him after bowing to our Queen and leaving to relay the news to his team, mother give a series of squeaks and chirps as an attend appeared moment early he gave a nod after appearing giving a confirmation series of squeaks and clicks and then disappeared again, it was obvious he was listening to the exchange.

Mother then turned to me and said. "It will take some time my little one for the arrangements to come together, and you have been through quite a bit already, I think it would be best if you go to your...(she paused thinking about all that had transpired) acutely I think you should rest but I think you should use frost chamber (she pointed at the hole in the ceiling of the chamber) I know he will not mind."

I just noded but before I flowe off to rest, I gave her a huge "thank you mom." I did feel tears start to build up as I did not want to leave, but part of me wanted to see that pony, no that alicorn again as she was a friend, but I knew their was no guarantee, but still I wanted to see that town again, with this on my mind, I automatically give a bow and flew up to the entrance and started to trot on the surface of the inner hallway, after a couple of feet the tunnel opens up to a chamber covered in white marble, but they were of different types of marble Statues of different creatures, each one was in almost regal clothes.

I manage to find a clearing in the center of the room, as I looked around it was what a town market must look like, I mused to myself, remembering what I had learned from my teachings, it is hard to explain but some of the colours if you focuses on are like vivid dreams only it is like your there. You can smell and taste and hear but you can not feel or change it, I suppose it is how most changelings dream, I do not like it myself, I prefer my own way
