Oh man I’m bushed… I fell on the bed and it felt soooo good. It’s like I’m floating on a cloud. This is heaven alright but why does a bad thing feel so nice when I’m tired? I could fall asleep right now…
“Oh May… A mare doesn’t just dive into a bed like that. I understand being in school can be exhausted, but a proper mare washes her hoofs before going to bed.” My friend said.
“O-Of course. Sorry about that…” I said, exhausted.
I got up, and went over to the sink to wash up.
“I have to admit it puzzles me how you can be so… reckless. Almost like a stallion.” She said, confused.
“What?!” I asked, shocked.
“Your just adorable and have a great deal of potential. It would be a waste to not use it.” She said happily.
I laughed it off, and thanked her. Unfortunately, it’s more complicated then she knows: My friend’s name is Shar, and she’s my roommate. She has the looks and manners of a rich mare to say the least… most of the time.
Sometimes she just does thinks that make me blush. The reason for that is because the truth is… well... I’m actually a stallion. Or rather I was until recently. To be honest: About three months ago, I saw an all mare school and I had absolutely no other alternatives, and no other schools would take me in so I use my magic to change my gender. And, ever since then, I’ve been here.
I had to change my name to be safe. I know it isn’t exactly a smart choice but it was the only school I had a chance to get in and I was desperate so… here we are. So far I’ve been safe and avoid anypony noticing me although I’ve had some close calls. Mainly from Shar since she’s… I feel bad for lying to her but I have to if I want to stay here.
“May, Is something up? Why are you being so quiet?” She asked, obviously concerned for my well-being.
"Hmm? Oh... it's nothing. I... I'm fine." I told her.
I hated lying to her, but I just couldn't let anypony know just yet.
I went back to the bed, and laid down. As I did: she looked at me with a sharp look in her eyes, and said:
“Let me guess…”
As she said that, she jumped on me and we fell back on the bed.
“You want me to wipe you down again, huh? Such a helpless filly…” She said.
One time that happen, and I didn’t even suggest it. Although I’m sure most stallions would kill for that type of thing.
“Wh-What? No! I can do that myself.” I said, getting off the bed.
“You’re a slippery one. Oh well…” She said, disappointed.
Jeez… I mean, it’s not like she hasn’t done this before but you just never expect it at times. It’s a miracle that she hasn’t found out that I’m a fake yet. I can’t act like all boyish while she’s around although that‘s easier said then done.
I heard a knock on the door. I wonder who could that be at this hour?
“Who is it?” She asked.
“We, well... baked some cookies and... frankly, we made more than we would handle ourselves. We thought maybe you guys might want some?” Asked one of the voices.
Boy, I sure knew these mares...
They're a couple of Shar's friends. They come around once an a while, and they usually bring some sweets, or food.
The one currently speaking would be Amber, the perky one. She's nice... a little too hyper for my tastes, but nice. She's also a really good cook, though nopony else seems to like her confections as much as I do.
I could only assume the other pony was Aqua: She's a bit of a pessimist, but she's the most polite pessimist I've ever run across. She's... also nice, but she can tend to put a negative air on a conversation
“Sure. I would love to have some. They smell delightful.” She said happily.
The mare handed them to her and she smiled.
“Thanks. I doubt I could eat every last one of these… would you like some as well?” She asked with a smile.
I didn’t want to be rude so I nodded and had one. The taste was…bitter to me. I should probably mention I have another secret but she already knows about this one. When I changed genders, my sense of taste became exponentially more perceptive. I don’t just taste it, I also can hear it’s voice when it was alive and whoever made it. For example: Cookies are made with flour and eggs and some other stuff.
The eggs come from chickens and I can hear them. It’s strange but I don’t know how to cure it and telling them how I got it would require me to tell them that I’m not who I am. It’s really unpleasant, and as a result I have been unable to have a decent meal… With a few exceptions. It’s for that reason that I haven’t starved to death.
“Hey May! I brought you some food.” A voice called out.
“Hmm? Oh hey, Amber. Didn’t even hear you come in. I was wondering when you would get here.” I said surprised.
“Awww. I didn’t know you were. I’m sorry for being late.” She said bowing.
Another mare showed up behind her and had a worried look.
“Amber… You made some food?” Aqua asked concerned.
“When I went to find her finishing up her ’meal’… There are some things that ponies shouldn’t eat.” Shar said anxious.
“I made some seafood tonight.” Amber said joyfully.
They looked at it with horror and while I don’t not understand why, it’s at least it’s something I can eat.
“I-I doubt half of those ’things’ are seafood or even related to it…”Shar said disturbed.
“Come on, dig in ladies!” Amber said blissfully.
Don’t mind if I do. I took a bite of it and it was absolute delight. I continued to chow down while they looked on in disgusted.
“Your food is always so great. Thank you very much for the meal.” I said.
She smiled and was glowing with excitement.
“I know this sounds dumb, but is it actually…good?” Aqua asked troubled.
“Of course!” I replied.
She slowly walked over and seem very hesitant to speak.
“Do you mind if I try a little bite?” She asked.
“Sure.” I replied.
After just one nibble, she fell back and was knocked out.
“Her face says it all…” Shar said petrified.
“Your so mean…” Amber said tearing up.
I just laughed and continued to eat. I can’t quite explain it but somehow her cooking satisfies my taste buds. The voice of the ingredients and her are completely similar. It’s the best thing I’ve ever eaten and it’s the only thing I can eat. It is because of her, I can enjoy eating and I can’t thank her enough.
“Is everything ok? Was there something wrong with it?” She asked.
“Of course not! Sorry, I was just thinking about how delightful this is.” I told her.
“Where you thinking about your old taste buds?” She asked.
I nodded and she seemed a little sad by my lack of response.
“I’m just glad to have somepony to enjoy this. I hope you get your original taste buds back soon.” She said smiling.
I never would have though that I would have good friends like this. I know that I’m lying to them since I’m not who they think I am but I’m just glad to know them. They have done so much for me and always supported me when nopony else did. Just then, Aqua woke up and while dazed, seemed to be fine otherwise.
“Your going to have a difficult time at the end of the week if you can’t eat ’normal’ food. If I remember right, you and Shar are on duty for cooking.” Aqua said.
“Wait what?” I asked confused.
I don’t recall anything about this. I would remember if that was the case.
“Shar, You didn’t tell her?” She added.
I looked at her and she just smiled.
“Oh my… It must have slipped my mind. I completely forgot about it.”Shar said laughing.
“Logical but highly unlikely. That‘s a guilty face if I saw one. It‘s like the time you ‘forgot‘ to go to class just because you didn‘t finish your homework.” Aqua said coldly.
Oh I remember now. On my first day, they were serving food and I discovered Amber’s lovely cooking. It was just perfect that night and
I was fearful that I wouldn’t be able to eat something like that again. When I took that first bite, I was on the verge of tears. It was nothing but luck that I got there that night or I would have starved. But wait just a minute… If I understood her correctly…
“So your saying that in a few days, we have to make the food?” I asked.
She nodded and I took a deep breath…
“What?! I have to cook?!” I yelled.
“I was wondering how long it would take.” She said not surprised.
“You must have been in denial the whole time.” Amber said sadly.
That means I have to cook for everypony. I can’t do that. Not because I can’t taste but because I can’t cook. Ok that’s part of the reason but still.
“If we are being honest, I found most of the cooking to be rather dull at best.” Shar said grimly.
“The worst part is that I can’t even taste what I cook and that’s not even bring up the fact I’ve never cook before. Ah, what am I going to do?!” I asked stressed out.
“Don’t worry! We’re here to help! We will do whatever it takes.” Amber said cheerfully.
“I’m pretty sure help from you would only make thinks worse.” Aqua said.
“S-So mean…” Amber said dejectedly.
“Thanks!” I said.
“…I should probably say this now. The rules state that whoever is in charge has to get everything themselves. We can’t go out and buy them or let anypony else help.” Shar said regrettably.
“I remember somepony tried to cheat and our teacher expelled them and got them blacklisted from other schools as well.” Aqua said concerned.
“Well I don’t want to get you in trouble so I guess we are on our own for this. Compared to cooking, collecting it is a lot easier.” I said.
“Yea. Your great at the physical stuff. Almost better than me.” She said laughing
Well I was raised as a stallion which meant a lot of physical training. It’s really astonishing how they never question me as to why. I mean sure it helps since I don’t have to lie anymore then I have to but still…
“Very well. As your roommate and partner, I must escort you on this journey.” Shar said joking.
“Cute but you know, it’s kind of your job anyways…” Aqua said grimly.
“You start in two days so you don’t have much time.” Amber said.
So that leaves tomorrow to find all the ingredients. I’m not to worried about getting them but making it will pose a problem.
“So we get up in the morning. Does that work out with you, Shar?” I asked.
She nodded and assured me that it will all work out. We will need to get a basket or something to carry all of it along with some knives to cut them up.
“So is there anything I need to do aside physical stuff?” I asked.
“For now, just relax. I’ll let you know by tomorrow.” She replied.
“It’s rather late so we will go back to our room. Good night.” Aqua said.
They walked out and closed the door behind themselves. Hopefully whatever we make will result it something good. I don’t want to disappoint them along with everypony else. I set up my alarm clock to make sure we got up early. After setting it up, I turned off the light and finally went to sleep.
. . .
I woke up and noticed that it was eleven. Wait eleven?! Oh no… I’m so late. I got up and looked around the room only to see that Shar wasn’t here. Did she already go out? Agh… I better hurry up and go help her. I bolted out the room and headed to the Everfreeforest. I started to breath really hard and I still haven’t found her. I shoved bushes away and darted around trees as I charged though. My legs were burning from exertion.
I already pushed myself past the breaking point and into new heights of physical. I hope she’s alright… Just then I saw a shadow and before I knew it, I had rammed my head into a tree. Ow… I look away for a second and this happen. She ran over to me and helped me up.
“Whoa, that was quite a hit. Are you alright?” She asked.
I felt my head to see if I was bleeding and… yep I was but not enough to be fatal.
“I’m fine. Just a minor injury. Why didn’t you wake me up?” I asked.
She smiled and said,
“I wanted to get an early start and didn’t want to wake you. So I turned off the alarm and let you sleep in.”
I see… That was a nice thing to do.
“That’s nice and all but I was worried about you. You know how dangerous it is here. What if something happened to you?! I won’t be
able to forgive myself.” I told her.
She didn’t seem to be faze by my concern.
“Don’t worry too much. I can handle myself and besides, I got just about everything we needed to cook.” she said smiling.
I can’t be mad at her for that. I’m just glad she’s ok… I feel like I’m about to collapse though. Huh, guess the bump was worse than I thought.
“Here, let me treat your head wound.” She said.
I laughed a little and let her. To think I was worried. I let out a small chuckle.
“What’s so funny?” She asked.
“Huh? Oh, it’s nothing. I’m just glad your alright. You need any help carrying this crate?” I asked.
She shook her head.
“Don’t worry about that. You have already injured yourself worrying about me. I’ll take care of this. I made some tea. This should make you feel better.” She replied.
She handed me a cup of tea.
“Thanks.” I said.
I took a sip from it and it was pretty good. I don’t know what it is but it works around my weakness. After a few mouthfuls of it, I felt better. I hadn’t even brought anything with me and she planed everything.
“Your amazing.” I said.
“Which trait may you be referring to?” She asked laughing.
“Well, your smart. You know a lot more things than I do. You’re a better cook then me. I couldn’t do any of that. I really do respect
you.” I said.
She laughed at what I said.
“You give me to much credit. My strength is nowhere near yours. My cooking is decent at best and I had a lot more trouble then you think.
There are plenty of others that far exceed my own abilities. I must confess I‘m lacking in a lot of things but if I had to list one thing I‘m better at, it‘s thinking of ways to apply what little I do have.” She said.
I looked at her confused and asked,
“What do you mean by that?”
“Just everything I know in general. Even if you know what everypony else knows, you can produce a wide range of ideas if you toy around with it.” She replied.
Makes sense but it isn’t as easy as it sounds. It’s remarkable how much she does everything like it’s no problem.
“I enjoy breaking things down and see how it works. Once you understand it, you can apply anything to it.” She added.
“I feel a lot better thanks to you. Lets g-”
“Wait a second!” She yelled.
“Hmm? What is it?” I asked confused.
“I just noticed that I forgot to get a potato. I could’ve have sworn I got it. Luckily, I saw one nearby.” She said.
“Alright. Led the way.” I said.
We walked further up and ended up near a cliff. I spotted one and went to get it.
“What do you think you're doing?” She asked.
“I was going to get it.” I told her.
“Alright…” She said worried.
I went to grab it and it appeared to be stuck on the ground. That’s strange. I tried to pull harder and still nothing. I gave it one last go and finally pulled it out but I stumbled back and fell back to the cliff. She yelled back and I continued to fall. I started to get scraps on me and it was painful with each second that passed. After what felt like forever, I landed on flat land. She carefully came down and helped me up.
“I told you! What were you thinking?!” She yelled.
I smiled but she was still angry.
“I’m fine. Really. Sure I’m cut up and all but I saved it. Look no scratches or bruises on it.” I told her.
She smacked it out of my hoof and hugged me.
“I don’t care about that. I don’t want you to risk yourself like that again you hear?” She demanded.
“Alright.” I told her.
She was crying and I did feel bad. I held her and said,
“I promise that I will be more careful.”
She wiped her tears and said,
“You’re impossible… you need to protect yourself, not some crop.”
I stood up and right as I got up, I felt a sharp pain in my leg.
“See? You hurt yourself didn’t you?!” She asked.
“Just kidding. You fell for it.” I said.
I lied to not make her worry more. She looked at me with anger in her eyes.
“…You know I hate these types of jokes.” She said.
“Sorry. In any event, Lets get back before it gets dark.” I told her.
She nodded and took the lead. I just had to get back and I’ll be able to take care of my sprain leg. I was about to head up with her when I heard something. I looked over and noticed a large bark had been torn off. As if something had run into in. Upon examination this, I noticed some food that were eaten. What could have it been though?
“…May?” She asked.
I silenced her and listen in. Everything was soundless, and the air felt thick. It was then I heard something. Something was moving though the grass. It sounded close and I felt her stiffen. Then suddenly it dashed out and went past us. I pushed her away and I moved as well as it shot pass. It was a Timberwolf. It’s huge… it rushed towards Shar.
“Ah!” She yelled.
She ducked and it barely missed her.
“Are you alright?” I asked.
She nodded and I noticed that it’s stared angrily at Shar. It seemed to have missed me. But why? There has to be a reason for this… Judging from the food here, it must have smelled it off her. I grabbed the half-eaten food and smeared it on me. It turned it’s glaring eyes back at me.
“Just get out of here! I’ll take his attention away so you can escape.” I demanded.
“I’m not leaving you here!” She yelled.
“Just GO!” I yelled.
She didn’t move. I tried to provoke it further so she could escape. It came closer to me and I just needed a few more seconds and she would be safe. After I moved back, I felt a sharp pain in my leg again. Damn it! I completely forgot about my ankle.
“Look out!” She yelled.
I tried to move away but the pain prevented me from taking action. I’m sorry, Shar… it seems I couldn’t hold that promise. I closed my eyes and wait for it to end. After a few seconds, Nothing happened. I thought time just stopped at first but once I opened my eyes, I looked around and the Timberwolf wasn’t there. Don’t tell me- Shar?! I jerked my head around, looking desperately. I let a small sigh of relief when I spotted her a short distance away, but I felt my chest tighten up again… I rushed over to her hoping she’s ok.
“Shar… Shar! Wake up!” I demanded.
She slowly opened her eyes. I needed to calm down or I may end up hurt myself again.
“Hmm? May…?” She asked.
“Oh thank Clelestia, your alright. Did you suffer any injuries?” I asked.
“No, I’m fine.” She replied.
“It seems that we-”
!
“Don’t move around so much. Your still hurt from earlier.” She said worried.
“Sorry… I tried to act tough so you didn’t worry about me.” I told her sorrowfully.
“You won’t be able to climb back you with your injury. We need to find to find another route.” She said.
“But it’s getting dark. Plus we need to get the crate above all else. I’ll be fine really.” I told her.
She looked at me with daggers in her eyes.
“You said that before and look where that got you. I don’t want you doing anything else until we get back. I’m not worried about the crate. You’re my main concern right now.” She said troubled.
“I’m a lot stronger than you give me credit for. I can power thou-”
I tried standing up but once again, the pain came back.
“I told you, no! Besides, your life if far more important than some food.” She said angrily.
It seems that she wasn’t going to cave in. I nodded and said,
“Shar I… Alright. You win.”
“Right now walking on flat ground is top priority. Nothing else matters right now.” She said looking around.
She picked me up and we started walk around looking for our way back. As I saw the sun lowering, I felt like we were lost. We have been walking for some time and we haven’t made any progress. If only I wasn’t injured… instead all I did was drag her down.
“Sorry that I can’t move any faster…” I said sorrowfully.
She smiled and didn’t seem to be angry anymore.
“No, I owe you an apology for leaving without warning. I should have considered how you felt before going on.” She said sorrowfully.
At least we haven’t run into anymore of them which was encouraging but it didn’t fix our immediate problem. Every time my right leg touched the ground, My leg screams in pain and it wasn’t getting any better. I had to bite my tongue to prevent myself from screaming. I had to just wait it out and besides, I don’t want to cause any more trouble. Suddenly, she stopped like she found something. Was it the school?
“What’s wrong?” I asked.
“I think we’ve wandered around long enough. We should find some place to take a break. I‘ll find a spot to set up camp. You wait here.” She said wandering off.
I was about to stop her but she disappeared before I could. I can’t go after her since I can barely walk so all I could do was wait. Damn it I’m completely useless. I let out a long sigh and slumped down. I felt drained both physically and mentally. Nothing I tried made things better… In fact I’ve made things worse because of my actions!
I knew she would never leave me here and go back on her own. She would probably get mad if I even brought it up again. Good work, me. Way to be completely worthless. I still remember my father’s last words the day I left. How could I forget? When I changed into a mare, He disowned me and I couldn’t go back. I thought I have finally found somewhere I belonged…
“I guess I’m just as useless as a mare as I though…” I whispered.
“Huh?” She asked.
“Whoa!” I yelled surprised.
Did she hear me?
“You look upset. Is something the matter?” She asked worried.
“N-No! Nothing’s wrong. Everything is just great. Nothing abnormal here.” I said laughing.
She looked at me and seemed to be confused.
“Your acting real strange… I can’t help but get the strange feeling that there’s more to this then what your leading…” She said looking at me.
Oh thank goodness. She didn’t hear anything I said. Still, I need to be more careful.
“Did you find anything?” I asked.
She nodded and said,
“Oh, yea, that’s right I did! It’s something out of this world!”
Amazing? I wonder what it could be.
“Just follow me. I don’t want to ruin the surprise.” She said.
She helped me up and we walked over to where went. We moved some branches and after a few steps, we walked into what appeared to be a hot- Wait a hot spring?!
“I stumbled across it while I was looking for some food.” She said happily.
“That’s… amazing! I never though there would be one out here.” I said surprised.
“Is that a light?” I asked.
She nodded and started to get in.
“Wait a second! Are you sure we should just enter?” I asked.
“Nopony else is here so I don’t see why not. Now let me help you in and I’ll make sure to take good care of you…” She said flirting.
“I can do this myself!” I told her.
My words fell on deaf ears as she scrubbed me down. I’ll admit this feel nice and rejuvenation. She scrubbed me down and it’s a good thing I’m a mare or this would be awkward on many levels.
“It’s a good thing to, I’ve heard of a place like this but never though it was real. It can heal wounds and makes your skin feel younger.” She said.
Now that she mentions it… the pain is going away and I’m starting to get feeling in my leg again.
“…What is it, May?” She asked.
I was hesitant to say anything but knowing her, she would just force an answer out of me if I didn’t say anything.
“It’s just…” I said trying to speak.
“Are you still worried about that? Don’t worry, everything worked out and we found this place. I would say this was a good day.” She said smiling.
“I suppose…” I said quietly.
“I thought I made it clear that your more important than some food. I’m just glad your ok.” She said still smiling.
I knew she cared but I never thought I was that important to her. I wonder if she would feel the same if she knew my secret.
“Is that not enough?” She asked.
“Well… If I hadn’t been so stupid and sprained my ankle, then we would be back by now… which would mean we wouldn’t have gotten lost and… you wouldn’t be in this mess. Unlike you or… anypony else really, I’m not good with anything…” I said despondently.
She giggled as I said that.
“If Amber and the other heard you say that, they wouldn’t be very happy.” she said.
“Sorry. I just hate myself for being a burden and bring you down like this… I feel like I can’t do anything…” I told her.
“May… if you say anything else, I’ll get angry.” She said slightly angered.
What…
“And besides, what exactly is wrong with bringing somepony down once in a while?” She asked.
“Huh?” I asked puzzled.
“Nopony is perfect. Not even Celestia herself is. Everypony is a burden to somepony at some point. So why feel like an outcast?” She asked.
“Really?” I asked.
“Sure, that’s what I said. You seem to have a mindset that you alone cause a problem, but do you honestly think that I haven’t held others back from time to time? You have courage to protect me and where ready to sacrifice yourself for me. If you hadn’t done that, what do you think would have happen to me?” She asked.
She has a point but still…
“Nopony can do everything. That’s why we help each other. That is how we survive in the world.” She said smiling.
“Help each other…?” I asked.
“When you can’t do something yourself, there’s no shame in asking for help. None of us resent you because we are your friends. So don’t ever think your useless. Is that clear?” She asked.
I learned something today. You see I’ve always been brought up to do everything myself and even my own parents (mainly my father) to learn for myself. I was never to ask for help and if I couldn’t do it, I would be punished for failing. I guess I need t- What’s that noise? Could it be more Timberwolfs? I thought this was a secret place. I got up and waited to the thing to appear. It stepped closer and it appeared to be… Aqua?
“Ah! I found them, Amber.” She yelled.
“Aqua? What are you doing here?” I asked surprised.
“Don’t give me that! You’ve been gone all day so we got worried and went looking for you.” She said annoyed.
“May! Shar!” Amber said happily.
“It seems that we were worried for nothing since you were just relaxing. We also found this as well.” Aqua said.
It was the crate we left a while back.
“Thanks.” I said.
They smiled and it seems that she was right. There wasn’t any need to be perfect. Not with friends like these. We got out and since I was starting to feel better, I took the crate and we started to head back. What Shar told me will stick with me forever. Just hearing that helped me more then she would know. For the first time I felt… Confident. After about a hour of walking, we got back and went into our rooms. First thing in the morning, we will need to cook. I need to do my best.
. . .
The alarm went off and we went into the kitchen and started cooking. I was worried at first but I have to be confident and try. Shar was cooking something else and I was here by myself. After a few minutes, we finished and Aqua showed up.
“Something smells good. Can I try some?” She asked.
I was worried at first but I put fate in my cooking so I nodded. She lifted what appeared to be delicate morsel to her mouth. She popped it in, and slowly chewed. I held my breath as she looked at me. What if she didn’t like it? She let out a sigh and said,
“It’s perfect! It’s the best thing I’ve had here!”
“Really?” I asked shocked.
“Yea! Your amazing! I can’t believe this is your fist time cooking!” She replied.
“Aw, why don’t I ever get praised for my cooking?” Amber asked.
“Because usually, I’m the one who get’s knocked out remember?” Aqua asked annoyed.
“I couldn’t have done any of this if not for you guys. Thank you so much. I owe you guys.” I said.
We laughed and I looked at the clock noticing that it was almost time.
“I can’t wait to see what everypony else thinks of this.” I told them.
“Are you done with your dish, May.” Shar asked.
I nodded and Aqua walked over to her dish.
“How is your’s, Shar? I’m not worried but still..” She said concerned.
“I just finished and I believe it will do well.” Shar said confident.
Just then, I heard some noise from the door. Is it time already?
“Let’s get everything set up.” Shar said.
We nodded and started to put plates out for everypony and within minutes, they sat down. We put the food on their plates and they thanked us. We carried our plates to our room. I couldn’t eat it of course so I just watched them eat. After they thanked us, they left and it was just me and Shar.
“Your first time cooking was wonderful.” She said with a smile.
“I didn’t think I would do so well.” I told her.
“Well we are here to help you and never think you have to do everything yourself.” She added.
“So… I never got to ask but… what happen with the wolf after I blacked out?” I asked.
She seem to be hesitant about answering but I didn’t want to force her to answer.
“If you don’t want to answer, it’s fine. I don’t want to force you to answer.” I said shrugging it off.
She shook her and said,
“No, it’s fine.”
She took a deep breath and after about three seconds, she spoke.
“It was really simple. I teleported in front of you and cast a barrier to protect us. It went away after a couple of minutes. Brute power doesn’t always win you know?” She asked with a faint chuckle.
I suppose it makes sense. She is a unicorn after all. I’ll admit that I was surprised that your magic is strong. I suppose in the end, everything worked out. I may have not cooked before, with their support I manage to overcome that challenge. I never thought I would be about to do it or that so many people would enjoy it. It was an eventful day although watching them eat made me hungry… Maybe someday I’ll tell them the truth about me. The real truth… but until then… I’m just glad that I’ve meet them.
