Deleted Parts of Chapters
"Heya, Sportsy!" I heard from behind me, followed by fast paced footsteps. I turned my head to look for the person the voice belonged to, my chocolate-brown hair flinging onto my shoulder in the process.
It was Minty Sweet. I watched her mint-green skin and bright yellow hair swerve through the crowd of students at their lockers. Minty had been my best-and only-friend all through RainbowSide Elementary School. So we've known each other for, well, as long as I remember. Although time hasn't split us apart just yet, we've both formed some other friendships since the beginning of middle school, and sort of created a type of friend group. And things just seem to work out from there.
My pace slowed, then stopped to wait for her. "Thanks," she breathed when she had caught up to me. I simply smiled in reply. "Anyway, have you seen Mage? I need help with the math homework from Ms. Rule's class."
I raised an eyebrow. "You know I could help you, right? I got all the answers last hour."
"Yeah, well, I don't cheat. Unlike-"
"Boo!" The sudden exclamation made the both of us jump. And then I heard my cousin's laughter and felt her hand on my shoulder. "You two are too funny! That never gets old."
"Artsy!" I whined as she came up next to me. "I told you not to do that! You know, you could've actually given us a heart attack." I crossed my arms stubbornly.
"Come on, Sportsy. What's up with your exaggerations?" she giggled with an eye roll. "Hey, Minty."
And then that's Artsy Afterlight for you. Artsy is my cousin, and her sister is Twilight Sparkle. Which means Twilight is also my cousin. They both just transferred from Crystal Prep about a week and a half ago, after a very interesting event that happened during the Friendship Games. And I'm taking about interesting as in possibly life threatening. The poor Wondercolt statue still hadn't recovered. This wasn't the only odd thing to happen at school. Canterlot High is the only building I know to have its entire front wall destroyed by a teenage bully turned evil, have every one of its students brainwashed by sirens from another world, and nearly get devoured by portals to this other world. Oh, plus, there's a portal in the front yard that leads to...OK, honestly, I don't know the details. Point is, my school is not normal.
