"I'll definently be over for pizza night more often!"
"Tell her I thought she tasted like mozzarella!"
-were a few of the comments from the four stallions leaving the apartment and dissapearing down the hall. The test was just mumbling lost or drowned out by eachother's words. The door's hydraulic brake hissed as it slid closed, clicking int place a few seconds after. The main room smelt of pizza and sweat, something that a normal teenager's room should smell like.
"Mmf... sore..." a tiny voice croaked from over beside the sofa.
"Yeah that happens. Have a good nig...." a yawn cut unto the dark stallion's sentance. "Night," he comcluded, and saunterred off down a small hallway that lead to the only bedroom in the complex.
"Um mister... " the mare bent over the coffee table was about to say something before your bedroom door clicked shut. "Oh... onions," she said that word quietly and with irritation, as if it was a cussword. To her, onions were good for nothing but making you cry. She'd known friends who'd been covered in onions before going in 'the box' and never coming back. Now she knew where they all had gone.
"Oh my..." she stood up and got the sickening feeling of liquids sloshing around inside of her somewherr, and slowly stumbled over to a room that she rememberred from the bakery. A bathroom. Slowly, she stepped inside and into the tub, looking around. Why was everything so white? Who knew. All she knew was that she wanted whatever was inside of her out, and then to rest her tired, sore body. Even though her mane grew like pizza cheese and her nethers tasted of mozarella, she was still a pony, and still felt the same things everypony else.
She turned on the shower and brought down the detatchable shower head. She messed with the settings until she settled on a low-pressure stream. Pressing the cold metal to her behind gave her goosebumps, but nevertheless she continued to hold it there. With her other hoof, she pulled at her entrance, opening it up to the stream so that she could wash herself out. She held it there until the white liquid leaking out diluted back to water, and then did her best to rinse it out of her fur. It had tasted rancid too... not enough tomato sauce.
The now-clean pizza pony stepped out of the tub and shook herself off. She'd only been alive for a year, but she'd learned more than enough to fend for herself, although she had never been out of the bakery yet before this. She exited the bathroom to discover that the pony inhabiting this housing had gotten up to thrn the lights out. She'd never liked the dark...
A shiver had encumbered her hooves, not just from the cold. Who knew what kind of monsters were lurking in the dark? She didn't want to try that. She openned the bathroom door enough to illuminate the couch with it's light, trotting over. To her dismay, the cushions were draped in that foul tomato-sauceless liquid the other ponies had pumped into her for a majority of the night. With a tiny whimper, she curled up beside the couch on the floor, getting cheese grease on the rug under the sofa.
An hour passed, and then two. At points she would open her eyes to discover that not but five minutes had passed by according to your microwave. She got up once more, openning the bathroom door wide enough to let the light spill out into the hallway to the ranbow-maned owner's bedroom. She slowly walked to it, turning the handle on the door and stepping in. The gray stallion from before had passed out in his bed, the covers on only half of his body. She slowly approached, her original plan to wake him up and ask for somewhere other than the couch to sleep, but seeing him slumberring made her change her mind. She let out a tiny "hmm..." as if hesitating on an idea. After a moment or two, she hopped up on the end of his bed and resumed her curled-up-kitty position.
Another four hours passed, her finally able to get some sleep. Something had interrupted the charcoal stud's dreams, something that was making him hungry and turning all of the round objects within the dream into pizzas. It was the smell of mozarella.
He stirred, his eyelids cracking open and revealing the light from the bathroom pooling into his room. "Ugh... why must I forget that light every single night?" He mentally kicked himself and stood up, walkin out to shut off the evil bulb of brightness that was preventing his peaceful slumber.
Returning to his room only did he notice the smell of mozarella again, causing him to look around for a moment. In the dark he couldn't see much, and dismissed it as an old pizza box he'd forgotten to throw away. He hopped up and flopped down on the bed, his hoof hitting something hard, but also warm and moist.
"Ouch!" The pale yellow mare whimperred, curling up tighter. She'd never been struck before, not even accidentally.
"Wait... who? What?" He sat on the side of his bed and reluctantly turned the lamp on, revealing the room to his eyes. He noticed her at the hoof of his bed and a loom of realisation spread across his feathres. "Oh! It's you. Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
"Um... n-no...." she replied in her tinny little voice.
"What are you doing at the end of my bed?"
"I didn't like sleeping on the floor... and... I was scared of the monsters in the dark..." she admitted, shielding her face with her hooves out of emberassment.
"Oh. Would you like to sleep with me? I don't bite," he offered with a sincere smile.
"Um... sure..." She brushed some of the cheese-mane from her eyes and scooted up, planting her head on a pillow. She took up almost none of the bed, too scared she would hog it.
Shrugging, the coal-gray stallion turned the lamp off again with the flicm of his magic, and flopped down beside her.
"D...dark..." she whimperred, thinking it was quiet enough that you wouldn't hear. There was an evident vibrating on the mattress, and one touch of the stud's hoof confirmed it was the pizza mare shiverring in fear.
"Hey hey... Krylone's got ya," he chimed in her ear, wrapping his hoof around her and pulling her close to him.
"Eep!" She tensed up, but after hearing his words relaxed a little, blushing in the dark. "O...okay...."
He scooted her up against his stomach, his body heat and soft coat keeping her warm. She enjoyed the strong hooves around her, only realising that after a few moments of discomfort. This stallion wasn't so bad after all... other than his tomato-sauce lacking bodily fluids, of course.
The mare gave a tiny sigh, her lips molding into a tiny smile as the stallion's grasp lilled her to sleep.
