A Love Hate Relationship #2
"I'm telling you, Daring Do isn't the most interesting or awesome pony!", Quibble Pants shouted at 3:00 AM.
All of Rainbow's neighbors were sick of hearing this. Of course, Rainbow's cloud house drifted around, so each night a different group of ponies was treated to the wonderful earful of crap that originated each time Quibble spent the night with the prismatic wonder.
And, of course, on this particular night, Lyra and Bon Bon were treated to the wonderful obnoxious chatter that came from the colorful cloud house.
"Should we do something?", Lyra asked as she lay beside her marefriend.
"Nah.", Bon Bon said.
"You're right, I have a feeling that they'll work it out soon."
And with that, the two mares proceeded to soak up all they could of each other once again.
"What the hell do you mean, not the most interesting or awesome pony? She is the one and only!", Rainbow practically yelled.
"Well she's just not.", Quibble stated, in his Celestia damned know-it-all voice.
"Give me one Celestia certified reason why Daring Do isn't the most awesome pony ever!"
"I love it when you get so mad! It's pretty darn hot.", Quibble said.
"Quibble, would you stop being such a pervert?!", Rainbow yelled.
"I refuse to.", Quibble said, smirking. And not just any smirk. Rainbow's smirk.
"You stole it," Rainbow said, of course referencing her stolen smirk.
"Yep," Quibble said.
"You owe me.", Rainbow deadpanned.
"Nope," Quibble replied.
"We're getting off topic.", Rainbow growled.
"Really? No kidding!", Quibble said.
Rainbow just groaned.
After ten more kisses, Lyra and Bon Bon decided that even the aromatic candles couldn't repair the damage that Rainbow and Quibble were wreaking on their romantic feelings for another. Or the romantic atmosphere.
So they decided to try something else.
Or rather one of them had an idea.
"It's called silent love, it's when ponies put in earplugs so they can focus more on the cuddles and kisses!", Lyra said.
"Yeah, that's a lie, and a very poor coverup for just wanting to ignore Rainbow and Quibble.", Bon Bon said.
"Oh okay," Lyra said and went to put them back.
"Wait, I didn't say I didn't want to try them!", Bon Bon exclaimed.
"Look, can't we just both agree to disagree?", Rainbow asked.
"No," Quibble Pants said. "It would work with normal ponies, but not us."
"Oh, huh," Rainbow said. Thinking for a minute. "I guess you're right," she said.
"Well, finally you realize that I'm right.", Quibble said, snorting haughtily.
"What the buck do you mean, realize that you're right?", Rainbow said, jabbing a hoof into Quibble's chest.
"Well, from what I've just heard, you've realized that I am indeed right.", Quibble said, glaring back at Rainbow.
"All you said, was that agreeing to disagree, would work for normal ponies, but not us.", Rainbow said, rolling her eyes.
"And you said that I was right," Quibble said, jabbing his hoof into her chest.
Rainbow slapped his hoof off her chest and corrected him. "No, I said that I guessed that you were right. That's not the same."
