Chapter 7: A mint
Previous ChapterNext Chapter(This chapter is the party from Death's P.O.V. and it will be alot longer than Ray's because Death will actually having conversations with some of the ponies instead of bumping into time lords and..... whatever it is that Ray did after that.)

Dath's P.O.V.
Ray bounced off and I was left standing there with a mint in my hoof. I picked it up in my telekinetic grasp and let it float into my saddlebag. I saw a table with food and drinks on it, so I trotted over to it.
A mint-green unicorn mare was standing on her back hooves and leaning on the table. She sipped her drink lost her grip of the cup, dropped it on the floor, and slipped in it.
"Are you alright?" I asked, and helped her up.
"Yeah, I'm fine..." She said. "My names Lyra by the way."
"I'm Death" I said. She looked at me funny. "No, I'm not the grim reaper" I added, and she breathed a sigh of relief.
"So," She said, casually "What's with the eyes?"
I gave her an annoyed look. My eyes had always been a sensitive point to me, from ponies making fun of them when I was really young, to them running in fear of me like I had some kind of diseasewhen I was older. My eyes were not my best feature, one might say.
I think she got the point of my look, and quickly replied with "Sorry".
I poured myself a cup of berry punch and levitated the mint from my bag into the cup.
"Uuuum, what did you just drop in your cup?" Lyra asked.
"A mint."
"A mint?"
"Yes, a mint, haven't you ever tried mints in berry punch, tastes delicious. Ask Pinkie and she'll probably give you a mint."
"No, I think I'm good, thanks. Say, have you ever heard of humans?"
"Yes, I've read several books about them on my travels."
"Really? Do you believe in them, because I do but all my friends think I'm crazy!"
"I believe in them, in fact I have a book about them in my bag" I levitated a very large book out of my saddlebag, marked 'Human Theories and sightings throughout history'.
"How did that huge book fit in that tiny saddlebag?" Lyra asked, stunned.
"I had it enchanted. The inner space of the bag exists in an alternate reality."
"Huh?"
"It means it's bigger on the inside Lyra." I stated flatly.
I saw a chestnut brown stallion's ears perk up when I said 'Bigger on the Inside'.
"Oooooohhhh, I get it now" Said Lyra, starting to understand. "So, anyways, I heard there's gonna be a cartoon show coming soon on television about humans."
"Interesting, I'll have to see that when it comes out."
"Can I read that book?"
"Sure" I levitated the large book over to her.
I started to walk away when Lyra yelled "I'll make sure to return it, eventually!"
I walked over to a dark purple earth pony mare with a mane and tail that were 2 shades of pink.
She saw me and decided to introduce herself "Hello I'm Cheerilee, Ponyville's schoolteacher."
"I'm Death, traveler of Equestria in search of family. I never knew my parents."
"That's so sad."
"I know, but it's true."
"Does that mean you never went to school?"
"I went this one time, but it was only for one day. I self-tutored myself with the books I collect."
"Interesting, Is there anything in particular that you're studying now?"
"Quantum physics." Again, I saw the chestnut stallion's ears perk up.
"I read up on that a while ago, and how time doesn't necessarily go in a straight line..."
"It's more of a big-" I continued her sentence, but I was cut off by another voice.
"Big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff."
We turned to see the chestnut stallion right in front of us.
"Hello," He said "I'm the Doctor".
He pulled out a small bag "Would you like a jelly baby?"
