Chapters A Blinding Start To A Dream
“One left OP, you’ve done well so far, get that fifth guy and I’ll buy the first round of drinks.” A voice can be heard through an ear piece.
The person wearing the earpiece smirks as he enlarges his ballistic shield so that it covers his front while he stands up and looks around the room.
He quickly pulls an R4-C covered in his favoured Nebula paintjob, the attachments on his weapon are a Holographic sight, Flash Hider, Vertical Grip ad Laser sight. He puts the shield on his back then grabs the grip of the R4-C as he heads forward. He walks to a door which was boarded up still.
“They didn’t even get to the Objective, these Attackers are the worst we’ve had yet.” OP thinks to himself as he places a breach charge on the door then takes cover and pulls out the trigger.
He sat quietly as he listened to the terrorist’s footsteps as they moved around behind the door from one side of the room to the other. He then pulls the trigger and the door explodes sending wood and splinters everywhere. OP then sneaked into the room and hid behind a table as he waited for the terrorist to make their move. He poked his head around the table just in time to see a flashbang roll towards his face.
*BANG*
OP was blinded and was frantically rubbing at his eyes trying to get rid of the blindness in time to kill the terrorist. He was waiting for the terrorist to open fire and kill him as he rubbed at his eyes, but the longer he waited the more confused he got, he eventually could feel the blindness dissipate and he opened his eyes only to be staring right at the sun.
“How am I outside?” OP asked himself as he rubbed his eyes again thinking it was an effect of being flashbanged.
He looked around himself taking in his surroundings. To his left was either a forest or a swamp filled with trees and to his right was a town in the distance, a town that looked medieval in design. He put his hands to his sides to push himself up only to stop as he felt the grass beneath him. It felt surprisingly soft, a lot softer than normal, he then pushed himself up. He felt something digging into his back so he decided to look behind him at which point he sees his ballistic shield, his pistol which was a M45 Meusoc and his R4-C.
OP picks up the ballistic shield and clips onto his back leaving his two hands still free, he then picks up the M45 Meusoc and puts it in a pistol holster on his leg, OP then grabs the R4-C and pulls out the magazine to check how many bullets are in there, to his surprise the magazine isn’t filled with the usual bullets it holds, instead there are bright white bullets in the magazine. He uses his finger to push one of the bullets out only for another bullet to form where the other bullet was.
Op then pulls out his M45 to check it’s magazine and once again it’s filled with white bullets he puts the magazine back into the firearm and fires 7 times, then checks the magazine expecting it to be empty only to be met with 7 more white bullets.
“What the fuck?” OP mumbles to himself.
He looks back to where he was laying and notices his M120 CREM (Compact Rifle Entry Munition). He picks it up and brushes the grass off of it.
“I nearly have everything from the clearout.” OP Mumbles to himself.
Then in front of him 5 small rectangular shapes of light appear and after a few seconds later 3 EDO Mk II booby traps and 2 Flashbangs form in front of him.
“Ok. What the actual fuck is going on? Actually fuck it, might as well play along.” OP groans.
He then bends over and picks up the traps and flashbangs then clips them onto his waist.
“All I’m missing now is now is an MPD-0 Stim Pistol.” OP Chuckles to himself.
He then watches as the MPD-0 forms in front of his very eyes.
“Oh yeah, I’m dreaming I forgot for a second.” OP smirks as he shakes his head.
“HELP! FOR THE LOVE OF CELESTIA HELP!” A female voice calls out.
OP Picks up the MPD-0, clips it to his belt and turns to his left and follows the shouts into the forest, OP has to jump and slide his way over and under branches and bushes as he makes his way towards the voice.
*Growl*
“Please somepony help!” The voice calls out.
‘Pony? She’s gonna be surprised to see me then.’ OP chuckles. ‘She must have been part of a farm or something.’
OP then bursts through the bushes noticing 3 large wooden wolves surrounding a grey and yellow shape. OP then pulls the trigger on his R4-C into the closest wolf as orange blood bursts out from its side, the other two wolves see their ally die turn towards OP and charge him, OP then uses the R4-C to kill one of the wolves leaving one left, OP then drops the R4-C to the ground and un clips his shield from his back and pulls out his M45 and charges towards the wolf, OP and the wolf collide, the wolf throws it’s body towards OP and OP uses his shield to block forcing the wolf to the ground, the wolf tries to hit OP with its claws, OP uses the shield to keep himself from being hit whilst also holding the wolf down, OP then aims his M45 at the wolves head and pulls the trigger spraying the ground with orange blood.
‘God I’m having a weird dream, one minute weapons and supplies are just appearing in front of me and the next I’m fighting wolves made from wood that bleed what looks like sap, holy hell Fuze what did you give me to drink last night?’ OP thinks to himself.
“W-what are you? ARE YOU HERE TO KILL ME AS WELL?” The female voice calls out.
OP turns around to the voice only to see a grey pony where the voice was coming from.
‘Oh I’m gonna have a SERIOUS FUCKING WORD WITH YOU WHEN I WAKE UP FUZE!’ OP thinks to himself.
“W-Well? Are you gonna or not?” The pony asks.
OP shakes his head and picks up his R4-C checking if the paint on it was damaged at all before putting the strap over his shoulder before turning away.
“W-Wait!” The female voice calls out.
OP turns around and stares at her.
“I just wanted to say thanks for helping me!” The grey pony exclaims as she looks at him.
OP then realises something absolutely adorable about the grey pony, she’s cross-eyed.
OP then nods his head then turns back around.
“I-I’m Derpy Hooves, what’s your name?” The grey mare asks.
OP then turns around and points to the tag on his outfit.
“OP? As in Operation?” Derpy asks.
OP shakes his head.
“Operator?” Derpy asks.
OP nods turning around and walking away, this time the mare doesn’t try to interrupt him or bring him back. OP heads back into the forest and towards where he was laid down before that grey pony shouted for help.
He spots the town in the distance and decides to head towards it.
OP hears flapping above him and he sees the grey pony fly past him and towards the town, the grey mare then starts to plummet to the ground and crashes. OP worried about the grey mare that just plummeted about 30 feet to the ground started to run towards the crash site.
OP saw a 3 foot deep crater with the grey mare at the bottom of it knocked unconscious.
‘I need to get her out of here and to that town.” OP thought to himself.
OP then jumps into the crater and picks the grey mare up into his arms, he looks over the top of the crater towards the town.
‘5 Years of training better not let me down now.’ OP Thinks to himself.
OP then let’s go of the mare called Derpy and strains his muscles as he holds her against his chest with one arm whilst climbing out of the crater with the other. OP then turns towards the town and starts heading towards it in hope of helping Derpy Hooves, the walk took about 20 minutes as OP made sure to take the route that went around the forest and not through it.
‘This dream is just getting weirder and god damn weirder.’ OP thinks to himself.
OP spots a building that looks like a hospital and decides to enter the building.
“WE’RE BEING ATTACKED!” A female voice shouts out.
“DIAMOND DOGS ARE ATTACKING GET THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY!” A male voice shouts.
OP then drops Derpy Hooves to the ground before pulling one of his flashbangs out and pulls the pin out before dropping it to the floor turning around as soon as he lets go of it.
“I CAN’T SEE!” The female voice shouts in panic.
“WHAT THE BUCK IS HAPPENING?” The male voice calls out again.
OP taking this opportunity to get out of the building and run out of the town only to run into a flying, cyan furred, rainbow maned and tailed pony.
“Got ya!” The pony exclaims as she cuts off his exit.
Or so she thought, OP unclips his shield and charges towards the pony as he holds the shield in his hands. OP charges into the pony knocking the creature over as he continues his run towards the forest.
“Did ya see where he went Rainbow Dash?” A southern accent asked OP barely hearing it due to the distance between them.
“F-Forest, can’t see forward.... vision too blurry.” The blue pony replied.
‘Fuck.’ OP thought to himself as he heard hoofsteps following behind him.
OP grabs his last flashbang ad pulls the pin before throwing it behind him.
“WHAT IN THE HAY?! AH CAN’T SEE ANYTHING!” The southern voice shouted.
OP finally got into the forest and as far as he could tell no one had managed to follow him into his hiding location. OP saw a tree in the forest that looked to be hollowed out and empty, instantly deciding that it was the perfect place to hide and wait it out till tomorrow. After about 20 minutes of collecting moss he finally had enough to make a mattress to sleep on, finally after a dream full of action and confusion he’d get to wake up once he goes to sleep in his dream.

OP wakes up in what felt like an instant. He lazily rubs his eyes.
“FUZE! Get over here!” OP Shouts out.
Silence.
“FUZE!” OP shouts again.
Confused OP sits up as he opens his eyes and starts to scan his surroundings. Wood and moss surround him.
‘You’re actually fucking kidding me. No wait I could be in a coma! He must have shot me nearly to death and someone saved me. I’m in a hospital somewhere and I’m surrounded by the others.’ OP thinks to himself.
OP stands up and stretches his arms and legs till they click.
‘I guess even in a coma my bones still click, that could be my mind just making the sounds to make me feel less stressed and not worry about the state of my real body.’ OP thinks to himself as he picks up his weapons, tacticals, lethals and ballistic shield.
He then leaves the tree trunk he slept in, keeping his R4-C and M210-CREM on his back with his M45-Meusoc in its holster, his MPD-0 Stim Pistol in another holster whilst his EDO’s on his belt.
‘I need to check up on that grey mare and make sure she’s ok.’ OP thinks to himself as he heads towards the exit of the forest.
The journey through the forest was quiet and eerie, but not for OP he was used to the silence. It came with the job of cleaning up after the recruits were killed. Hitting the grassy hill where the forest stopped and the town came into view OP stops to check something.
Pressing a button on his belt it releases a small cylinder with 4 tails and rope attached to the bottom.
‘Perfect, I’ll just rappel up.’ OP thinks to himself as he clips his rappel onto his belt for later use.
OP then continues to head towards the town.
As OP arrives into the town he notices that it’s empty.
‘Good, I can do this without being spotted.’ He thinks to himself.
OP starts to walk through the streets towards the hospital, looking around he notices that all the houses look like there from the Victorian era, except one that stands out like a sore thumb. A building that looked to be made entirely from gingerbread, wood and frosting.
‘My mind is a strange place.’ OP thinks to himself.
He smiles as he finally sees the hospital come into view. He starts to run towards the hospital. He takes a moment to look inside one of the windows at the front and sees that the lights are off.
‘Perfect.’ OP thinks to himself. ‘I can sneak in there see and what room she’s in and make sure she’s okay.’
OP walks towards the front entrance, towards a pair of blue double doors. He then forces a corner of his shield into the gap between the blue double doors and twists the shield forcing the doors to open. He then uses his hands to open the doors completely, then steps inside, keeping his hands on the door as he gently pulls them back together, making sure to be as quiet as possible.
The reception is completely empty and is dark. Luckily with years of training in night ops he can see well enough to make his way to the front desk safely and quietly. He walks behind the desk and starts looking through the draws. The first draw he opens holds nothing and is completely empty, the second draw holds exactly what he’s looking for. ‘The patient book’, the place where time of entry, the injury and their name is held for the nurse at the entrance to keep the nurse at the front desk up to date.
OP then starts to flick through the book stopping at D. Dash Rainbow – Concussion. Delivery Special – Strained Wing Muscle. Doo Ditzy (Hooves Derpy) – Concussion and suspected broken ribs.
‘Ditzy Doo? Does she have two names?’ OP thinks to himself as he reads the room number. ‘Since this place seems to be empty at the moment I might as well not bother rappelling up.’ OP thinks to himself as he heads towards the rooms.
OP enters the rooms to see 2 ponies in the same room. The blue one who he ran down with his shield and the grey mare that he came to check up on.
‘I hope bluey doesn’t wake up.’ OP thinks to himself as he drops his equipment apart from one. His MPD-0 Stim Pistol. He aims it straight at Derpy and pulls the trigger. The needle landing in the centre of Derpy’s stomach. Derpy then wakes up with a jolt, she looks around in a panic then stops when she sees OP.
“W-what are you doing here? What am I doing here?” Derpy asks.
OP uses his hand to push the front of the pistol down leaving a space to place the next Stim needle in. Derpy looks at him.
“W-what are you doing with that?” Derpy asks worriedly.
OP then puts the needle into the gun and pushes the front back up making the gun click. He then aims it at the blue pony.
“D-don’t shoot Rainbow! Please I’ll do anything!” Derpy begs.
OP gives her a confused look then pulls the trigger.
Derpy covers her eyes and starts to lightly sniffle.
“Wow, am I in the hospital again? That big motherbucker’s gonna get what’s his when I get out.” The blue pony declares as she shakes her hoof in the air.
“RAINBOW!” Derpy excitedly shouts.
“Oh hey Derpy, why are we here?” Rainbow Dash asks.
Derpy then points towards OP and Rainbow Dash’s face immediately turns into one of anger.
“YOU’RE THE BIG THING THAT HIT ME WITH HIS BIG METAL THING!” Rainbow Dash shouts angrily.
OP then nods his head the starts to reload his pistol again.
“What the buck is that?” Rainbow Dash asks.
“It’s a stim pistol, it’s used to heal teammates in battles where a single mistake will end your life.” OP replies as he places the stim pistol back into its holster.
“YOU CAN TALK!?” The two mares shout.
“Of course I can, considering you’re in my mind right now I would’ve thought you would know that.” OP chuckles.
“Your mind? Are you crazy or stupid? We’re not in your mind dumbflank.” Rainbow Dash laughs.
“And I’m not in a coma in some hospital.” OP chuckles sarcastically.
“YOUR NOT!” Rainbow Dash shouts.
“Bullshit.” OP smirks.
“It’s NOT!” Rainbow Dash growls.
“Fine whatever, but I need to see a psychiatrist after this, my mind is fucked at this point, one minute dreaming of wooden wolves, the next I’m talking to ponies that can fly.” OP chuckles as he shakes his head.
“Urm, OP, you’re not actually in a coma, you’re awake and fine, in fact your better than fine you saved my life!” Derpy says happily.
OP then looks towards his equipment then picks up his pistol.
“H-hey! OP w-what are y-y-you gonna d-do w-w-w-w-w-with that?” Derpy asks.
“Kill myself of course.” OP says in a monotone voice with a deadpan look on his face.
“YOU’RE GONNA DO WHAT?!?!?!?!?” The mares shout.
“Kill myself, I thought you would’ve heard me.” OP grumbles.
“W-wait, let’s talk about this.” Derpy pleads.
“Y-yeah dude, w-we can talk about this.” Rainbow says.
“What’s there to talk about? You’re talking GOD DAMN PONIES! Holy fuck I’m insane! If I do this now then I won’t have to go to an insane asylum.” OP says as he tries to pull the trigger only for the gun to be pulled away from his hand.
“Calm down, whatever you are, we’re here to talk.” A purple unicorn says as it walks towards OP.
“THAT’S THE PROBLEM PONIES DON’T TALK! I’M INSANE! THIS IS FUCKING RIDICULOUS!” OP shouts.
The purple ponies horn starts to glow and OP then tries to shout again only for his mouth not to open.
“Listen, all ponies talk here, whatever part of Equestria you’re from must be a weird place for their not to be any ponies.” The purple pony says trying to calm OP down.
OP then pats at his mouth.
“Oh, right.” The purple pony says nervously as she releases OP’s mouth.
“STOP TALKING! IT ISN’T NATURAL!” OP shouts.
“Yeah it is!” Rainbow shouts back.
“NO IT’S NOT! PONIES DON’T TALK! YOU’RE ANIMALS!” OP shouts.
“Everypony here talks.” The purple pony says as she lowers the pistol to the ground.
“Give me the Meusoc!” OP shouts.
“The weird metal thing?” The purple pony asks.
“YES!” OP shouts back.
“No, not until you calm down and let us talk.” The purple pony says.
“Okay, Okay. I’ll listen just give me the Meusoc back.” OP demands.
“Ok.” The purple pony smiles as she floats the gun towards OP.
OP grabs the gun and in an instant has the barrel against his temple and pulls the trigger. The gun clicks, OP pulls the trigger again and again and again, hoping that was just a misfire, OP pulls out the magazine only to notice the bright white bullets that filled it earlier have disappeared.
“WHAT HAPPENED TO THE BULLETS?!?!” OP panics. “YOU REMOVED THEM DIDN’T YOU!”
“No, as much as I would’ve liked to I didn’t know that’s where the ‘bullets’ where kept.” Twilight shrugs.
OP then charges at the purple unicorn kicking her square on the horn, causing the purple unicorn to scream as she collapses.
“I’M FUCKING OUT! FUCK THIS SHIT!” OP shouts as he runs towards the window and jumps through it.
‘2 stories high, if I aim my head straight down the fall should be enough to break my neck and kill me.’ OP thinks to himself as he plummets.
A gold glow surrounds OP as his body stops an inch from the ground, OP turns his head to see what’s happening. A tall white unicorn with wings glares at him from the window.
“Hello.” The white pony growls angrily.

OP drags his pistol up and pulls the trigger this time a bullet shot out of the chamber and landed in the white pony’s shoulder causing her to scream and drop OP to the ground below. *CRACK*. OP grabbed his stomach tightly and could feel his ribs moving freely.
‘FUCK! Damn it. Broken fucking ribs great.’ OP thought to himself as he slowly and painfully got back to his feet.
*HURL*
OP threw up causing a blood red puddle to form.
‘Internal bleeding. I’m a doctors worst nightmare right now.’ OP thought to himself as he opened the front of the Stim pistol and reached into his pocket for one of the Stim needles, ‘Last one.’
OP reloaded the last Stim needle into the Stim Pistol and held it to his stomach and pulled the trigger. The needle shot straight into the skin and started injecting the serum into his bloodstream causing an instant heal.
‘I’ll never get used to that.’ OP chuckles to himself as he grabs the Meusoc and places it back into its holster.
OP looks towards the forest and sprints his full speed towards it not looking back, not even to check if he was being followed.
It took him about 5 minutes of a constant sprint to finally find the tree he had slept in.
‘The freaky pony thing just touched me with its fucking Houdini magic bullshit. Only one of these freak ponies is even able to be considered friendly. If my first encounter with these ponies is anything to go by then I’ll probably need to make sure she’s not gonna be captured and tortured for information.’ OP thought as he grabs his R4-C and turns to face towards the entrance of the large tree. ‘None of these freaks are getting in. Well. The non friendly ones at least.’
“I saw him go this way!” I hear the familiar voice of rainbow bitch.
‘Mother fuckers!’ OP screams in his head.
OP climbs out of the tree and points his R4-C towards where the voice was coming from.
“GOT YA!” A voice from behind shouts as OP feels a pair of limbs wrap around his neck and latch onto his shirt.
He grabs the limbs and throws them over his body causing the body that the voice came from to slam into the ground in front of him.
‘Rainbow Bitch.’ OP thought to himself as he stomped on one of her wings causing a cracking sound to be heard.
“AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!” Rainbow Dash screamed.
‘That should slow her down for now.’ OP thought to himself as he saw that she had a hold on his ballistic shield.
OP kicks her limb off of the shield and picks it up.
‘Like a fly you are useless without wings.’ OP thinks to himself as he starts to run in the opposite direction of the rainbow mare.
“OP! WHERE ARE YOU?” A familiar voice calls out.
‘Derpy.’ OP thinks to himself as he comes to a stop and waits for her to catch up.
“OP what were you THINKING?! Trying to kill the PRINCESS of all ponies!” Derpy scolded.
“If I wanted to kill her she would be dead.” OP admitted to the grey mare.
“Why would you attack yourself then try to attack everyone else? I don’t get it.” Derpy asks.
“How would you feel if everything you where taught through life all of a sudden became a lie. In a split second everything you loved disappeared and was replaced with nothing but difference. How would you feel if everyone you knew was changed from a pony to a tortoise that eats ponies?” OP asks.
“Well. I’d be scared. I’d do whatever it took to get back.” Derpy finishes just as realisation hits.
“Now you get it.” OP says noticing the look of realisation in Derpys eyes.
“You need to go back and apologise and explain that you where scared.” Derpy says.
“It’s too late now, I’ve already attacked your leader if I go back now I’ll be arrested and probably killed.”OP says as he wipes some blood from his shoes on a rock.
“Whose blood is that?” Derpy asks.
“Mine.” OP says as he starts to walk further away from the town filled with dangerous pony creatures.
“Wait, why did you heal yourself back there? I thought you wanted to die.” Derpy asks.
“Natural reaction. Get hurt? Heal.” OP answers.
“I can’t really help you OP. You hurt the princess, making you a criminal.” Derpy sighs.
“I don’t want you too. What I want is for you to head home and just.... I don’t know relax or something, like you said I’m a criminal.” OP replies.
“Okay then, but don’t tell them I was here, tell them I flew away or something.” Derpy asks.
“I wasn’t on planning telling them you where here. Goodbye Derpy.” OP says as he turns left and starts to walk away.
All that can be heard are OP’s footsteps and the branches blowing in the gentle breeze. After about 20 seconds of walking OP looks back and sees the grey mare flying away.
‘I wish I never joined the anti terrorist forces, I wouldn’t have this need to fucking keep the damn thing alive. Fuck you training you piece of shit.’ OP thinks to himself as he swivels on the balls of his feet and starts to jog as quietly as possible.
Up ahead OP sees Derpy wave then lower to the ground.
‘She must have seen someone. Hopefully I can stay hidden from both of them.’ OP thinks as he crawls behind a bush.
“I’m sorry Derpy but Celestia told us to do it.” A familiar voice says with a hint of sadness in its voice.
‘Rainbow Bitch.’ OP thinks as he grits his teeth.
“Do what Dash?” Derpy asks.
“This.” Rainbow Dash’s voice says as a struggle can now be heard.
“Ah’m sorry sugarcube but we don’t have a choice.” A voice only heard once so far.
“Yes you do.” OP says as he stands up from the bush he was hiding behind aiming his R4-C at the pair of mares currently pinning Derpy to the ground.
“If only you knew. We don’t want to be at war with you. It’s Celestia, she isn’t herself. She’s. Evil, only wants power. If we could we would just stop and be gone. In fact we need your help.” Rainbow Dash admits.
“Why would I help you?” OP asks.
“Because if not we will live in nothing but sunlight. No sleep, no rain to give the crops and the pony’s water. Nothin’. We need ya help an’ we need it now.” The orange mare pleads.
“Let Derpy go and we’ll talk.” OP demands.
“Okay.” Rainbow Dash says as she nods her head at Applejack.
Both mares climb off of Derpy and sit on the ground.
“Now, start from the beginning.” OP asks.
