"Next stop: Ponyville Train Station", says the radio on-board the train, inside are only a handful of passengers, one of them is a teenager, only around 15 years old. "Are we there yet!", exclaims the younger pony to his middle-aged mom. "Almost, honey" The 15 year old hated being called that. The train comes to a halt, they've reached Ponyville. He gets off the train and onto the ground, the fresh Ponyville air flourishing all around him. Before he goes into the station, he spots something, a poster. It told of a party hosted by Vinyl Scratch, and this definitely got his attention. 'This looks perfect!', He thought to himself. It took no effort from him to convince his mother to take him to the party, and sure enough, he was on a one way stop to the best party of his life. In a building somewhere in Baltimare, special agent Sweetie Drops is looking for a suspected changeling in the Marelot hotel. "No signs of a changeling yet, Celestia" "Keep looking." Celestia remarked coldly, "lives are at stake here!" Celestia was currently hidden in a bunker underground. Different coloured lights flickered, each with a unique meaning. Noises from the graphing and plotting machines whirred and beeped. Implanted in Sweetie's eye, a device that allows her to identify masked changelings. High tech Canterlot technology. "Wait, I'm getting something!" Drops exclaimed, excitement in her tone, a spark in her eye. A green body comes into Sweetie's vision, they've found the changeling. "I'm going to follow him, Celestia" "Alright, but be careful" Sweetie follows the unsuspecting Changeling until he reaches the reception. After a couple of minutes, the changeling receives his key. "Okay, Celestia, hope this works!", says a nervous Drops. Sweetie goes to the reception to get a room near enough to the changeling. "Okay, and would you like free breakfast with the room?" Asks the receptionist. "I won't be here long, so no thanks" Sweetie takes the elevators to the 4th floor of the building. The room the changeling is located in is room '456'. That room is at the end of the corridor to the right. Sweetie treads very carefully. She finally reaches the room, it's time to implant the drone. Through the key hole, Drops sends a flea-sized drone with a camera to find out where the changeling is in the room. She controls it with a remote, and eventually finds the changeling in the bathroom. Sweetie decides to bring out her suitcase, containing a silenced pistol, that only unicorns can hold. "All this state-of-the-art tech, and they give me a paper clip to open doors", says a dissatisfied Sweetie Drops. She holds the paper clip with her horn and finally opens the door, the changeling is luckily still in the bathroom. She hides next to the door, waiting to strike with her silencer. The changeling hasn't come out in over 5 minutes. Sweetie has a confused look on her face and decides to take a closer look through the keyhole of the bathroom door. The changeling busts out of the door, which slams in Sweetie's face. The changeling tries to escape by running out of the window. "Oh no, you don't!" Sweetie runs as fast as she can before the changeling flies out of the window. She grabs him by the leg and pulls him back in. She rips out his wings and the changeling fires back with a powerful kick. He can't fly anymore, so he jumps out of the window, where empty luxiourous cars wait near the 5 star Marelot Hotel. The desperate changeling steals one of the cars and drives off Sweetie looks over just when he takes the car and decides to jump as well. "This is gonna hurt!" A loud bang! As Sweetie lands on one of the fragile cars, demolishing it. She slowly moves over to another car and takes it as well, Celestia's agents have this sort of privilege in extreme situations like this. They chase through the busy streets of Baltimare, all the way until they're heading for the highway to Ponyville. Only a few miles away, the party with Vinyl Scratch has just begun. In the midst of the party, a 15 year old foal with his mother, who are already flaring their lights and raving. "This is awesome Mom!", exclaims the energetic teenager. "You're right, honey! This is just like how I met your father!" The chase between Sweetie Drops and the changeling has now reached the Everfree forest, where dangerous creatures hear the vehicles race by. In the midst of the dramatic chase, Sweetie hears a growl go by her as she chases the changeling. "Timberwolves...Shoot!" A Timberwolf latches on to both the Changeling and Sweetie's car, but the entrance to Ponyville is only a mile away. Sweetie uses her magic to blast one of the Timberwolves to smithereens. Her luck could only go so far. The Timberwolf on the changelings car bursts a tire, which results in it spinning out of control and into Sweetie's car, which kills her instantly. The changeling, dizzy and in pain, finds himself near Fluttershy's cottage, where the entrance to the Everfree Forest's gates are completely shattered. "Heh, so much for her", says a lucky changeling. While the changeling regains his balance, he notices a flurry of lights in a house nearby. "A party, mabye I can disguise myself there" The changeling heads into the party disguised as Sweetie Drops, and with everyone raving, he will probably be there for a while. "Sweetie Drops, Special Agent Sweetie Drops!", exclaims a nervous Celestia, waiting for a response, but nothing comes through. Celestia has no idea what just happened to Special Agent Drops, because when she fell from the window of the 4th floor of the Marelot Hotel, her eye implant had shattered to pieces. "That's it, I'm going to look for her!" Celestia heads out of the basement and prepares to leave the city. However, an unexpected guest is waiting for her outside... Chapter 2: The Green Sun Celestia was getting ready to look for Sweetie Drops, not knowing her untimely demise, until she was met with a familiar face. "Miss me, Sunbutt?", says a deformed Chrysalis, her face almost unrecognizable. "C-C-Chrysalis!", a startled Celestia is already charging up her horn. "Don't even think about it!" Chrysalis holds down Celestia with her magic, which surprisingly, was much stronger than before. "Let me go this instant!" "Ah, you see Sunbutt, I'm afraid I can't do that", Chrysalis is beginning to annoy Celestia with the use of the word 'Sunbutt'. "What are you planning, Chrysalis!" "Well, you might be a pain in the flank, but you are a good teacher" "W-w-what's that supposed to mean?", At this point, Celestia has stopped trying to break free of Chrysalis's strong grasp. "Do you think I'm blind! I saw what Twilight could do against Tirek, I need that kind of power, Sunbutt!" "Stop calling me that!", Celestia's face is turning red now. "Sorry, Sunbutt" Behind Chrysalis, she has around fifty changelings with her, all the high ranked in Chrysalis's army. Chrysalis does a nodding motion to her minions. The henchman bring a bruised, beaten Starlight Glimmer. "Starlight, are you ok!", Celestia's getting more nervous by the second, 'Where's this going?' she thought to herself. Starlight slowly begins to speak "Celestia, I'm sorry for what they're going to make me do..." Starlight Glimmer powers up her horn as a helpless Celestia watches, still clueless about what's going on. "Starlight, you don't have to do this!", exclaims Celestia. "They said they'll kill my friends, I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do!" Celestia almost respected Starlight for this seemingly heroic act, so she gave her a nodding approval. Starlight forcefully removes Celestia's cutie mark, her screams echo throughout Ponyville. Once the cutie mark has been removed, the normally yellow sun, turned completely white, indicating that nobody has power over it. Chrysalis looks at Starlight coldly. "Well, what are you waiting for, put her cutie mark on me!" Starlight looked confused, "You can do that?" "Yes, you idiot, I forced you here to do this, I watched you remove cutie marks, so you can put them back on!", remarked Chrysalis to Starlight sternly. Starlight reluctantly tries to put the cutie mark on Chrysalis, when much to her surprise, it sticks perfectly. Chrysalis was now in a very good mood. The white skies turned completely green, and so did the sun, now everypony on the planet knew something was wrong. "Yes, almost complete power!", said a joy-filled Chrysalis. "Now all I need is that bookworm, and I'll be unstoppable!" Starlight was afraid now, what was going to happen to her now that the job has been done? "Oh, right, you", Chrysalis said while staring at Starlight. With immense force, Chrysalis knocks Glimmer to the ground, and with her magic horn, rips Starlight to shreds. "Heh, that must've hurt!", Chrysalis laughs with her minions, the world has been cast into chaos. Chapter 3: Frenemies It's 6:00 AM in Baltimare, normally this is a beautiful time, because the sunshine used to bounce on buildings, but now with Chrysalis's Green Sun, ponies are itching for nighttime. "This sucks, this all sucks real bad!", says a rather shaken up Pinkie Pie "Look, I want Ponyville back as much as anyone else, but with the whole party incident and Starlight...", Twilight Sparkle tries to forget about that as much as she can. "Oh yeah, the party incident, poor ponies", Rainbow Dash sympathizes. "Um, what's this whole party incident shindig?", Applejack is the only one who hasn't heard the news. "Some jerk changeling was hiding as Sweetie Drops in the party and was spotted, so he opened fire on some innocent ponies", Rainbow Dash explained with anger in her voice. "Darn, what were the fatalities you reckon?" Twilight Sparkle cuts in, "From what we know, a 15 year old foal and his mom" Hours pass as the mane six all stay in the Marelot hotel, where beneath two floors lies Lyra Heartstrings. She sat on the bed weeping for days after news of Sweetie Drops came on the press. "She... couldn't have just left me like that, I told her not to do this whole spy organization thing!", Lyra says in a sobbing, weeping voice. "It's okay, Lyra, we'll get that Chrysalis sooner or later", says Trixie in a comforting voice. In Ponyville, the only inhabitants are changelings, anypony else is struck down. "Listen you oafs, I want Twilight found right now! Those who fail to do so will be executed. Publicly.", Chrysalis threatened to her minions. Twilight slept soundly in the middle of the Baltimare night, it felt good to leave the atmosphere of the Green Sun. It was difficult at first to fall asleep due to Pinkie's snoring, but they got over it soon enough. But Twilight was awoken by something, a loud crash coming from the balcony of the hotel. "Huh, who's there?!", Twilight shouted. She heard the faint sound of wings flapping. The Changelings have found her. Twilight holds the kitchen knife with her magic and prepares for battle. "Come out you Changelings! You kill Starlight and Sweetie Drops and you think you can get away with it!" "Stop, Stop!", says a Changeling who's flapping his wings from the tiny terrace view of the hotel. Twilight is confused, a Changeling asking you to stop fighting? "Why are you telling me to stop?" "Because I don't work with Chrysalis! I was at Cranky and Matilda's wedding, remember!" "Well, I wouldn't know that because they slammed the door in my face before we could get in." "Listen, Chrysalis is executing any changeling that runs from her, you've got to help me!", the Changeling nervously asks. Twilight does recall a changeling with the same voice who used to hang out in Ponyville. Twilight then remembers his name. "If you're who I think you are, then tell me your name", Twilight demands, the kitchen knife in her magical grasp. "Jon Siedfield", says the Changeling confidently. "Get in the house right now" Twilight wakes all of her friends up to tell them about the changeling, Jon Siedfield. "Uhh, five more minutes!", says Rainbow Dash in her sleepy state. "Listen up ponies, we've got a guy who can help us defeat Chrysalis!", Exclaims Sparkle. "Is that darn tooting dirty hoofed nose breather a changeling!", Applejack is not happy with the new arrival. "No, wait, he's a good guy, I know him!", Rainbow Dash recognizes him instantly. "H-h-hello there p-ponies, I'm J-J-J-J", Siedfield couldn't finish his scentence, he was very nervous to be around regular ponies. Twilight helps Jon out, "His name is Jon Siedfield, and he's gonna help us get back Ponyville!" Jon cuts back in, "Why y-yes, there is a sewer underground that can lead us to Chrysalis" "Perfect! So we go through this sewer and then what? Fight Chrysalis? She took down Celestia without breaking a sweat!", says Rainbow Dash. "Yeah, If you're a changeling, then tell us what happened to Chrysalis that made her so strong, and why does her new face look so scary?", asks Pinkie Pie. "Well, from what I can gather, she was traveling beyond Equestria alone, and when she came back she just looked like that, and she wasn't in a good mood either, she threw three of my friends in the dungeon for life.", says Jon the changeling. "Wow, he does sound pretty serious Twily! Mabye he is a good changeling after all!", says a more energetic Pinkie Pie. "Okay then, mabye to find out what happened to Chrysalis, we have to go beyond Equestria too!", says a confident Twilight. "Then pack your bags, eggheads! This pony is going on an adventure!" "Are we there yet!", says Pinkie Pie for the 18th time in a row. "No! We aren't there yet, you stupid no life annoying know-it-all-think-you're-funny-but-you're-not piece of hairy garbage!", Rainbow Dash has had enough with Pinkie's antics. "Ok, s-s-sorry" Fluttershy sank in her seat to avoid eye contact with anypony, Rainbow Dash was heated. Twilight sat in the front seat next to the driver, where two black and blue ponies pulled the cart to Saddle Arabia. "Hey guys, let's lighten up the mood a little bit! I spy something with my little eye, something that is yellow!", says Twilight "Everything", Applejack thought that the sand would never end. "Sand. Sand. Sand. And more sand", Rainbow Dash stopped counting the individual grains of sand, it was boring when it started. Twilight saw a few figures in the distance, buildings. "Look, we've made it!", Twilight shouts and points her hoof to the skyscrapers while smiling at her friends. "Well that's a site for sore eyes!", says Rainbow Dash. They park near the 8-star hotel, where kings and queens reside, Celestia had booked a room for them, she had a hand in helping construct the building. "You'know, I've heard Celestia's technology is in this hotel too", says an excited Applejack, that's what Celestia told her. "Then let's find out shall we!", Twilight opens the door. When she saw who was waiting for her on the others side, Twilights smile slowly faded away. Chapter 4: Don't Do This "Thought I was dead, didn't you!", Sweetie Drops looked mangled and torn up, her face was barely recognizable now. "S-S-Sweetie Drops!", Twilight felt a mix of joy, fear, and disgust. "You know, Chrysalis told me something, she said 'why do you fight for your city' when they don't fight back, you people leave agents like me for dead, now you pay the price, Jon!", Sweetie Drops smiled when she said this, it was a smile that hurt, the wood from the car still inside her face, she didn't remove it on purpose for this moment. Twilight turned behind her and saw Jon charge up his horn, "Rainbow Dash! Look out!" Too late, she was struck by a green beam, she was hurt, but still intact. "You're going to regret doing that!", Exclaimed an angry Rainbow Dash. She launched into the air, she was going to do a Sonic Rainboom. "Okay, ponies, we hold them off until Rainbow Dash is charged up, then we run!", orders Twilight. "Let's kick some changeling flank! Again!" Sweetie Drops charged onto Twilight and kicked her in the face, Twilight does not want to hurt Sweetie. "You don't have to do this Drops!" "Do what, this?" She kicks Twilight again, even though she knows she won't hurt her "Stop! You know you can't beat me, so why are you trying, you're better than this!", Twilight is trying to reason with her. "Listen to me, I've had enough of me helping everypony out, and nopony helps me, you are an alicorn! You are the one Celestia praises! I'm going to make you feel what it's like to have something fast hit you head on!" Twilight forgot about Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom, she looked around to find nopony else but her and Sweetie. She's going to kill herself and put Twilight in a world of pain just to prove a point. Twilight looked up, Rainbow Dash is coming in hot and fast. She knows that it won't kill her, but it's going to hurt as much as getting hit in the face by a car. 'I can't believe she's making me do this, but fine Sweetie Drops, I'll feel the pain for you', thought Twilight to herself. She closed her eyes and waited for impact. Her friends were fighting away from the blast radius. Twilight was in the middle of it. In ten seconds the Sonic Rainboom will kill the anger-filled Sweetie Drops, and hurt Twilight immensely. '8 seconds left, I wonder how the pain will feel', Twilight thought. Sweetie Drops realized that Twilight isn't even struggling to get out, she can't believe she's going to feel the pain just for her. So she whispers into Twilight's ear, "Go, before I change my mind!" Twilight looks directly into Sweetie's eyes, "I could have left a long time before, but I won't, I'm going to miss you Sweetie Drops" 3 seconds left, they both give each other one last hug 1 second left, they stare directly into the Sonic Rainboom together. *** -- 5 Days Later -- *** Twilight sat on the streets of the rainy Las Pegasus with the rest of her friends, they had just demolished the hotel in Saddle Arabia because of Rainbow Dash's Rainboom, and they were kicked out of the country. However, Sweetie Drops managed to survive because Twilight cast a spell at the last second, but just barely. "Does anyone want a piece?", asked Rainbow Dash, holding a half eaten white choclate KitKat. "Sorry darling, but the choclate is soaking wet because of this disastrous rain!", says Rarity, who may be the most uncomfortable out of all of them right now. "Ok, we've gotta keep moving", says Twilight Sparkle with a tired sigh. They move through the busy streets where carriages go by, the homeless beg, and the rich play on the slot machines. "I hope those casino players lose all their money!", Twilight had learned from birth that betting was always bad news. The Green Sun was still illuminating the sky, giving the world the impression that Chrysalis was always watching them, always with them. While they walked, they heard a screeching sound coming from the roundabout in front of them, a carriage had collided and crashed into another one forcefully. "Hey, are those ponies all right?", asks Pinkie Pie nervously. "Wait! Stop! Get behind the wall!", orders Twilight, who sees something is up. They all hide behind a wall and lean to look at the crash site, there is a huge traffic jam because of the crash now. "This isn't an accident, they crashed into them on purpose!", explains Twilight to her friends, still hiding behind the wall. From one of the carriages, 3 changelings come out, and then later the driver, Chrysalis. The Mane 6 are all focusing their attention on Chrysalis as she moves over to the wreckage of the car "Oh god, what's Chrysalis doing now?", asks Rainbow Dash "Help me, I need help!", asks one of the ponies trapped in the wreckage of the car. The Mane 6 can't even see his face because there is too much debris. Chrysalis moves over and removes some of the wood blocking the ponies, they don't know who just saved them. "Thank you so mu...", The Mane 6 can see that the pony in the wreckage is actually not a pony, it's a changeling. "I've been looking for you for a long time, thought you'd never see me again?", says Chrysalis to the changeling. "Listen, I'm sorry for what happened! But you became stronger because of it!" "Stronger... mabye, but look at my face! I can't recognize myself in the mirror anymore because of you, and I can't let that go unpunished" "No... No!" Chrysalis tears the changeling to tiny pieces, and nopony is in a rush to stop her. "Huh, is he made of glass or something, that took no effort", says a disappointed Chrysalis. "Okay, changelings, I want every one of you looking for the 6 brats, and don't forget! Executions if you don't bring them!" Chrysalis does a slicing neck motion with her hoof. "Is the coast clear?", asks Pinkie Pie. "I don't know, but I don't feel like being sushi today", Rainbow Dash is very, very nervous. When the changeling was torn to shreds, The Mane 6 sneakily went through the sewer drainage to find a different city. "What's happening to Las Pegasus, Twilight?", asks a traumatized Fluttershy "My guess, everypony is being tortured to find out where we are, and the place is a swamp for changelings", Twilight didn't hold back any punches on Fluttershy. "Oh... Ok", Fluttershy stops asking questions now. "Okay, we've went far enough, we should exit these sewers" "Listen here, we ain't going up no sewers unless we know for sure the coast's clear", says Applejack. A sound comes from behind them "What was that?" "I-I-I don't know!" "Relax, it's probably just a rat" "Yeah, a rat! That's it nothing to be afraid of!" "That doesn't look like a rat", says Rainbow Dash. "That, is huge!", Pinkie Pie is excited yet terrified "Girls. Run." They run as fast away as they can from the monster that chases them. "What is that thing!" "I don't know! I've never seen anything like it!" Look how many teeth it has!", Twilight Sparkle notices the creature has no eyes, no nose, and no body, it's just a dark, green, saggy ball with a mouth chasing them down a claustrophobic sewer. "There, an exit!" They reach the end of the sewer, where a stairway is waiting for them. "If we get there in time we can escape this thing!" They get up the stairs and make their way up, successfully escaping, except one of them is missing. "Where's Fluttershy?" "Help me! Get me out of here!", says a voice from the sewer below. As Fluttershy was getting out of the stairs, she got tangled on some vines, and is now stuck. Twilight faintly sees a ball rolling towards Fluttershy. "Help me! Quick it's getting closer!", Fluttershy has about eight seconds to get out before she's monster food. "I can't get the vines untangled!", says Twilight desperately. "Help me girls, get this vine untangled now!" Five seconds. "Pull...Pull!" Three seconds. "Pull!" One second. "Pull!" Fluttershy gets out and the monster tries to get through, but it's too big. *Pant* *Pant*, "We, *Pant* did it", says a tired, yet relieved Twilight Sparkle "No, we didn't", says Fluttershy "What, we got you out! Of course we did it!" "Look behind you Twilight", Fluttershy is staring at something above Twilight. "I've been looking everywhere for you, you little bookworm!" Chrysalis has found Twilight. "Oh come on!" Twilight gets knocked unconscious. Twilight Sparkle awakens slowly, her hooves are attached to a wire vertically. "Ugh, where am I", says the shaken up Twilight, her vision still fuzzy. "That darn Chrysalis found us and knocked you out real good!", says Applejack, trapped in a cage, along with the rest of her friends. As Twilight tries to analyze the situation, Chrysalis comes in the room. "Ah, look who it is, it's miss powerful, how are you doing honey, miss me?", says Chrysalis to Twilight. "I wouldn't say I'm really happy to see you again, but yeah, I 'miss' you", says the sarcastic Twilight. "Wow, you developed a sense of humor! We're becoming more like each other everyday!" "Go fuck yourself, Chrysalis", Twilight genuinely surprised Chrysalis with this language. "Hmm, you shouldn't have said that, bring out her parents" "What?" "Tsk, they didn't tell you in school not to swear when parents are around?" "Why are my parents here? What's going on!", exclaims Twilight Sparkle. "You see, my little bookworm, I'm unfortunately not Tirek, so I can't suck up all of your power, but I can make you work with me, one way or another", Twilight tried to charge up her horn, but it wouldn't work. "Ah yes, the spell that creates a magical disabling forcefield, pretty neat huh?", says Chrysalis. "So, this is how it's gonna work, you join me, or I kill a lot of ponies, including these two cuties right here, so say hi to them Twilight!" "Listen Mom, it's gonna be okay, I'll get us out of here!", Twilight tries to comfort her, but she knows what's going to happen. "Oh look, little Twily is a big girl now, 'she's gonna protect you and save the day!', Hmph, everypony thinks life is just one big movie where the bad guys die and the heroes survive, well guess what? There are no happy endings in life, so I'm gonna make my happy ending right now, by killing one of your parents" "So, Twilight, pick one of them, make it easy for me" Twilight can't answer "No response, well then, looks like I'm doing this the old fashioned way, thank god we don't have magic!" Chrysalis takes Twilight's mother and crushes her head repeatedly with her hoof, until her face is non-existent. "Now then Twilight, I have thirty other of your friends waiting, you might want to join me soon" Chapter 5: A Handsome Beginning "So, there, that's 15 of your friends that are now dead, you're really persistent aren't you?", Chrysalis has just killed another 15 of Twilight's friends, another 15 wait patiently for their final destinatination. "Here goes another one!", Chrysalis kills another one of Twilight's friends. "And another one!", she does it again. "And another one!", and again. "Another one!", and again, and again, and again. "One more left!", Chrysalis has already killed 29, only one remains. "Bring out Celestia!", Celestia comes into Twilight's view, she doesn't say anything. "Why aren't you saying anything, Sunbutt?", says Chrysalis. "I'll never understand what is it with you and silence, I asked you a question! Why aren't you saying anything!", Chrysalis shouts. "Because I wanted to see you angry one last time", says Celestia. "Well then, I'm gonna enjoy doing this!" Chrysalis knocks a chained Celestia to the ground, and puts her hoof firmly on her face. Chrysalis now has her hoof on Celestia's face, she's ready to stomp her untill she's a pulp. "And, here we... go!", Chrysalis raises her hoof. "Not so fast, Chrysalis!", a voice from behind Chrysalis startles her. "Wh-What!? Who's there!", Chrysalis was not planning on being foiled today. "Starswirl, Starswirl the Bearded!" "How the... How are you... What?!", It's been a while since Chrysalis has been surprised. "Well, Chrysalis, the old oaf still has one year left in him!", says Celestia, still under Chrysalis's hoof. "Well, I hope your back doesn't break old pony, at least not before I get to do it!" "Then come at me!", Starswirl has to run until Chrysalis follows him into the trap, and there is no magic for any unicorns here, because of the magic disabling forcefield. Chrysalis chases Starswirl down the corridors, she's about to catch up to him. Starswirl reaches a dead-end. "Finally, I not only get to meet Starswirl, I get to kill him too!", says Chrysalis while she slowly walks toward him. "Alright, Starswirl, have any last---", Chrysalis hears a snap before she can say 'words'. When Chrysalis heard the snap, she looked around to find she was entrapped in glass, and above her, hundreds of array of spikes ready to fall on her. "No! My plan didn't work! Twilight's going to---", Chrysalis was crushed before she could finish. "I know exactly what Twilight's going to do Chrysalis, and I'm going to stop her", says Starswirl to Chrysalis's dead, lifeless body. Twilight was released by Celestia, who got out of the chains. "Thanks, let's go meet up with Starswirl", says Twilight to Celestia. When Twilight met him, she saw Chrysalis was nothing but green goop now, her body was almost non-existant. Twilight moved over to Chrysalis and smiled at the goop covering the glass walls. "Ah, finally, she's dead, that insect needed to be squashed long ago", Twilight smiled more as she said this. " Okay, so first things first, we kill every last changeling and crush them into tiny pieces, then I'm going to play hopscotch in their chest cavities and then I'm going to kill anypony who stands in my way!", says Twilight deviously. "No! You won't!", Starswirl charges his horn up and aims at Twilight's head "What are you doing Starswirl?", says Twilight nervously. "You think Chrysalis is doing this just for fun!? Why do you think her face is deformed? About a year ago, Chrysalis was scouring through a jungle with a changeling looking for a secret artifact to bring her riches, when a very rare monster with a face shaped like a diamond attacked her! The changeling left her there, and when Chrysalis came back she said she had learned infinite knowledge from the monster!", explains Starswirl. "That's why she has a giant 'V' on her face!", exclaims Celestia. "Okay, Starswirl, you need to calm down!" says Twilight. "Sorry, but I'm saving millions by doing this," replies Starswirl. A powerful beam is shot directly into Twilight's face, pain is all she can feel now. Starswirl moves in to finish her off, before Celestia fires a beam back at him. "Ack! I... I can't breath!" Starswirl is having a heart attack, Celestia wasn't trying to kill him. "Starswirl!" screams Celestia. "She... Is going... To kill us all..." Starswirl immediately succumbs to the heart attack, and is now dead. Celestia holds his body in her hooves, she doesn't know who to trust anymore. Celestia decides to go back to the cages where the Mane 5 were held, where Chrysalis was planning to kill them But there's no sign of them. Just a note that had the words '800 years'. Celestia goes back to Twilight to ask if she's okay. The beam shot by Starswirl had created a 'V' shape on her face. "Twilight, are you alright?" "Please, don't call me Twilight, my name... Chapter 1: The Marelot Hotel It's a clear afternoon in the Ponyville Train Station, ponies are waiting in seats for the next arrival soon. "Next stop: Ponyville Train Station", says the radio on-board the train, inside are only a handful of passengers, one of them is a teenager, only around 15 years old. "Are we there yet!", exclaims the younger pony to his middle-aged mom. "Almost, honey" The 15 year old hated being called that. The train comes to a halt, they've reached Ponyville. He gets off the train and onto the ground, the fresh Ponyville air flourishing all around him. Before he goes into the station, he spots something, a poster. It told of a party hosted by Vinyl Scratch, and this definitely got his attention. 'This looks perfect!', He thought to himself. It took no effort from him to convince his mother to take him to the party, and sure enough, he was on a one way stop to the best party of his life. In a building somewhere in Baltimare, special agent Sweetie Drops is looking for a suspected changeling in the Marelot hotel. "No signs of a changeling yet, Celestia" "Keep looking." Celestia remarked coldly, "lives are at stake here!" Celestia was currently hidden in a bunker underground. Different coloured lights flickered, each with a unique meaning. Noises from the graphing and plotting machines whirred and beeped. Implanted in Sweetie's eye, a device that allows her to identify masked changelings. High tech Canterlot technology. "Wait, I'm getting something!" Drops exclaimed, excitement in her tone, a spark in her eye. A green body comes into Sweetie's vision, they've found the changeling. "I'm going to follow him, Celestia" "Alright, but be careful" Sweetie follows the unsuspecting Changeling until he reaches the reception. After a couple of minutes, the changeling receives his key. "Okay, Celestia, hope this works!", says a nervous Drops. Sweetie goes to the reception to get a room near enough to the changeling. "Okay, and would you like free breakfast with the room?" Asks the receptionist. "I won't be here long, so no thanks" Sweetie takes the elevators to the 4th floor of the building. The room the changeling is located in is room '456'. That room is at the end of the corridor to the right. Sweetie treads very carefully. She finally reaches the room, it's time to implant the drone. Through the key hole, Drops sends a flea-sized drone with a camera to find out where the changeling is in the room. She controls it with a remote, and eventually finds the changeling in the bathroom. Sweetie decides to bring out her suitcase, containing a silenced pistol, that only unicorns can hold. "All this state-of-the-art tech, and they give me a paper clip to open doors", says a dissatisfied Sweetie Drops. She holds the paper clip with her horn and finally opens the door, the changeling is luckily still in the bathroom. She hides next to the door, waiting to strike with her silencer. The changeling hasn't come out in over 5 minutes. Sweetie has a confused look on her face and decides to take a closer look through the keyhole of the bathroom door. The changeling busts out of the door, which slams in Sweetie's face. The changeling tries to escape by running out of the window. "Oh no, you don't!" Sweetie runs as fast as she can before the changeling flies out of the window. She grabs him by the leg and pulls him back in. She rips out his wings and the changeling fires back with a powerful kick. He can't fly anymore, so he jumps out of the window, where empty luxiourous cars wait near the 5 star Marelot Hotel. The desperate changeling steals one of the cars and drives off Sweetie looks over just when he takes the car and decides to jump as well. "This is gonna hurt!" A loud bang! As Sweetie lands on one of the fragile cars, demolishing it. She slowly moves over to another car and takes it as well, Celestia's agents have this sort of privilege in extreme situations like this. They chase through the busy streets of Baltimare, all the way until they're heading for the highway to Ponyville. Only a few miles away, the party with Vinyl Scratch has just begun. In the midst of the party, a 15 year old foal with his mother, who are already flaring their lights and raving. "This is awesome Mom!", exclaims the energetic teenager. "You're right, honey! This is just like how I met your father!" The chase between Sweetie Drops and the changeling has now reached the Everfree forest, where dangerous creatures hear the vehicles race by. In the midst of the dramatic chase, Sweetie hears a growl go by her as she chases the changeling. "Timberwolves...Shoot!" A Timberwolf latches on to both the Changeling and Sweetie's car, but the entrance to Ponyville is only a mile away. Sweetie uses her magic to blast one of the Timberwolves to smithereens. Her luck could only go so far. The Timberwolf on the changelings car bursts a tire, which results in it spinning out of control and into Sweetie's car, which kills her instantly. The changeling, dizzy and in pain, finds himself near Fluttershy's cottage, where the entrance to the Everfree Forest's gates are completely shattered. "Heh, so much for her", says a lucky changeling. While the changeling regains his balance, he notices a flurry of lights in a house nearby. "A party, mabye I can disguise myself there" The changeling heads into the party disguised as Sweetie Drops, and with everyone raving, he will probably be there for a while. "Sweetie Drops, Special Agent Sweetie Drops!", exclaims a nervous Celestia, waiting for a response, but nothing comes through. Celestia has no idea what just happened to Special Agent Drops, because when she fell from the window of the 4th floor of the Marelot Hotel, her eye implant had shattered to pieces. "That's it, I'm going to look for her!" Celestia heads out of the basement and prepares to leave the city. However, an unexpected guest is waiting for her outside...
Chapter 2: The Green Sun Celestia was getting ready to look for Sweetie Drops, not knowing her untimely demise, until she was met with a familiar face. "Miss me, Sunbutt?", says a deformed Chrysalis, her face almost unrecognizable. "C-C-Chrysalis!", a startled Celestia is already charging up her horn. "Don't even think about it!" Chrysalis holds down Celestia with her magic, which surprisingly, was much stronger than before. "Let me go this instant!" "Ah, you see Sunbutt, I'm afraid I can't do that", Chrysalis is beginning to annoy Celestia with the use of the word 'Sunbutt'. "What are you planning, Chrysalis!" "Well, you might be a pain in the flank, but you are a good teacher" "W-w-what's that supposed to mean?", At this point, Celestia has stopped trying to break free of Chrysalis's strong grasp. "Do you think I'm blind! I saw what Twilight could do against Tirek, I need that kind of power, Sunbutt!" "Stop calling me that!", Celestia's face is turning red now. "Sorry, Sunbutt" Behind Chrysalis, she has around fifty changelings with her, all the high ranked in Chrysalis's army. Chrysalis does a nodding motion to her minions. The henchman bring a bruised, beaten Starlight Glimmer. "Starlight, are you ok!", Celestia's getting more nervous by the second, 'Where's this going?' she thought to herself. Starlight slowly begins to speak "Celestia, I'm sorry for what they're going to make me do..." Starlight Glimmer powers up her horn as a helpless Celestia watches, still clueless about what's going on. "Starlight, you don't have to do this!", exclaims Celestia. "They said they'll kill my friends, I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do!" Celestia almost respected Starlight for this seemingly heroic act, so she gave her a nodding approval. Starlight forcefully removes Celestia's cutie mark, her screams echo throughout Ponyville. Once the cutie mark has been removed, the normally yellow sun, turned completely white, indicating that nobody has power over it. Chrysalis looks at Starlight coldly. "Well, what are you waiting for, put her cutie mark on me!" Starlight looked confused, "You can do that?" "Yes, you idiot, I forced you here to do this, I watched you remove cutie marks, so you can put them back on!", remarked Chrysalis to Starlight sternly. Starlight reluctantly tries to put the cutie mark on Chrysalis, when much to her surprise, it sticks perfectly. Chrysalis was now in a very good mood. The white skies turned completely green, and so did the sun, now everypony on the planet knew something was wrong. "Yes, almost complete power!", said a joy-filled Chrysalis. "Now all I need is that bookworm, and I'll be unstoppable!" Starlight was afraid now, what was going to happen to her now that the job has been done? "Oh, right, you", Chrysalis said while staring at Starlight. With immense force, Chrysalis knocks Glimmer to the ground, and with her magic horn, rips Starlight to shreds. "Heh, that must've hurt!", Chrysalis laughs with her minions, the world has been cast into chaos.
Chapter 3: Frenemies It's 6:00 AM in Baltimare, normally this is a beautiful time, because the sunshine used to bounce on buildings, but now with Chrysalis's Green Sun, ponies are itching for nighttime. "This sucks, this all sucks real bad!", says a rather shaken up Pinkie Pie "Look, I want Ponyville back as much as anyone else, but with the whole party incident and Starlight...", Twilight Sparkle tries to forget about that as much as she can. "Oh yeah, the party incident, poor ponies", Rainbow Dash sympathizes. "Um, what's this whole party incident shindig?", Applejack is the only one who hasn't heard the news. "Some jerk changeling was hiding as Sweetie Drops in the party and was spotted, so he opened fire on some innocent ponies", Rainbow Dash explained with anger in her voice. "Darn, what were the fatalities you reckon?" Twilight Sparkle cuts in, "From what we know, a 15 year old foal and his mom" Hours pass as the mane six all stay in the Marelot hotel, where beneath two floors lies Lyra Heartstrings. She sat on the bed weeping for days after news of Sweetie Drops came on the press. "She... couldn't have just left me like that, I told her not to do this whole spy organization thing!", Lyra says in a sobbing, weeping voice. "It's okay, Lyra, we'll get that Chrysalis sooner or later", says Trixie in a comforting voice. In Ponyville, the only inhabitants are changelings, anypony else is struck down. "Listen you oafs, I want Twilight found right now! Those who fail to do so will be executed. Publicly.", Chrysalis threatened to her minions. Twilight slept soundly in the middle of the Baltimare night, it felt good to leave the atmosphere of the Green Sun. It was difficult at first to fall asleep due to Pinkie's snoring, but they got over it soon enough. But Twilight was awoken by something, a loud crash coming from the balcony of the hotel. "Huh, who's there?!", Twilight shouted. She heard the faint sound of wings flapping. The Changelings have found her. Twilight holds the kitchen knife with her magic and prepares for battle. "Come out you Changelings! You kill Starlight and Sweetie Drops and you think you can get away with it!" "Stop, Stop!", says a Changeling who's flapping his wings from the tiny terrace view of the hotel. Twilight is confused, a Changeling asking you to stop fighting? "Why are you telling me to stop?" "Because I don't work with Chrysalis! I was at Cranky and Matilda's wedding, remember!" "Well, I wouldn't know that because they slammed the door in my face before we could get in." "Listen, Chrysalis is executing any changeling that runs from her, you've got to help me!", the Changeling nervously asks. Twilight does recall a changeling with the same voice who used to hang out in Ponyville. Twilight then remembers his name. "If you're who I think you are, then tell me your name", Twilight demands, the kitchen knife in her magical grasp. "Jon Siedfield", says the Changeling confidently. "Get in the house right now" Twilight wakes all of her friends up to tell them about the changeling, Jon Siedfield. "Uhh, five more minutes!", says Rainbow Dash in her sleepy state. "Listen up ponies, we've got a guy who can help us defeat Chrysalis!", Exclaims Sparkle. "Is that darn tooting dirty hoofed nose breather a changeling!", Applejack is not happy with the new arrival. "No, wait, he's a good guy, I know him!", Rainbow Dash recognizes him instantly. "H-h-hello there p-ponies, I'm J-J-J-J", Siedfield couldn't finish his scentence, he was very nervous to be around regular ponies. Twilight helps Jon out, "His name is Jon Siedfield, and he's gonna help us get back Ponyville!" Jon cuts back in, "Why y-yes, there is a sewer underground that can lead us to Chrysalis" "Perfect! So we go through this sewer and then what? Fight Chrysalis? She took down Celestia without breaking a sweat!", says Rainbow Dash. "Yeah, If you're a changeling, then tell us what happened to Chrysalis that made her so strong, and why does her new face look so scary?", asks Pinkie Pie. "Well, from what I can gather, she was traveling beyond Equestria alone, and when she came back she just looked like that, and she wasn't in a good mood either, she threw three of my friends in the dungeon for life.", says Jon the changeling. "Wow, he does sound pretty serious Twily! Mabye he is a good changeling after all!", says a more energetic Pinkie Pie. "Okay then, mabye to find out what happened to Chrysalis, we have to go beyond Equestria too!", says a confident Twilight. "Then pack your bags, eggheads! This pony is going on an adventure!" "Are we there yet!", says Pinkie Pie for the 18th time in a row. "No! We aren't there yet, you stupid no life annoying know-it-all-think-you're-funny-but-you're-not piece of hairy garbage!", Rainbow Dash has had enough with Pinkie's antics. "Ok, s-s-sorry" Fluttershy sank in her seat to avoid eye contact with anypony, Rainbow Dash was heated. Twilight sat in the front seat next to the driver, where two black and blue ponies pulled the cart to Saddle Arabia. "Hey guys, let's lighten up the mood a little bit! I spy something with my little eye, something that is yellow!", says Twilight "Everything", Applejack thought that the sand would never end. "Sand. Sand. Sand. And more sand", Rainbow Dash stopped counting the individual grains of sand, it was boring when it started. Twilight saw a few figures in the distance, buildings. "Look, we've made it!", Twilight shouts and points her hoof to the skyscrapers while smiling at her friends. "Well that's a site for sore eyes!", says Rainbow Dash. They park near the 8-star hotel, where kings and queens reside, Celestia had booked a room for them, she had a hand in helping construct the building. "You'know, I've heard Celestia's technology is in this hotel too", says an excited Applejack, that's what Celestia told her. "Then let's find out shall we!", Twilight opens the door. When she saw who was waiting for her on the others side, Twilights smile slowly faded away.
Chapter 4: Don't Do This "Thought I was dead, didn't you!", Sweetie Drops looked mangled and torn up, her face was barely recognizable now. "S-S-Sweetie Drops!", Twilight felt a mix of joy, fear, and disgust. "You know, Chrysalis told me something, she said 'why do you fight for your city' when they don't fight back, you people leave agents like me for dead, now you pay the price, Jon!", Sweetie Drops smiled when she said this, it was a smile that hurt, the wood from the car still inside her face, she didn't remove it on purpose for this moment. Twilight turned behind her and saw Jon charge up his horn, "Rainbow Dash! Look out!" Too late, she was struck by a green beam, she was hurt, but still intact. "You're going to regret doing that!", Exclaimed an angry Rainbow Dash. She launched into the air, she was going to do a Sonic Rainboom. "Okay, ponies, we hold them off until Rainbow Dash is charged up, then we run!", orders Twilight. "Let's kick some changeling flank! Again!" Sweetie Drops charged onto Twilight and kicked her in the face, Twilight does not want to hurt Sweetie. "You don't have to do this Drops!" "Do what, this?" She kicks Twilight again, even though she knows she won't hurt her "Stop! You know you can't beat me, so why are you trying, you're better than this!", Twilight is trying to reason with her. "Listen to me, I've had enough of me helping everypony out, and nopony helps me, you are an alicorn! You are the one Celestia praises! I'm going to make you feel what it's like to have something fast hit you head on!" Twilight forgot about Rainbow Dash's Sonic Rainboom, she looked around to find nopony else but her and Sweetie. She's going to kill herself and put Twilight in a world of pain just to prove a point. Twilight looked up, Rainbow Dash is coming in hot and fast. She knows that it won't kill her, but it's going to hurt as much as getting hit in the face by a car. 'I can't believe she's making me do this, but fine Sweetie Drops, I'll feel the pain for you', thought Twilight to herself. She closed her eyes and waited for impact. Her friends were fighting away from the blast radius. Twilight was in the middle of it. In ten seconds the Sonic Rainboom will kill the anger-filled Sweetie Drops, and hurt Twilight immensely. '8 seconds left, I wonder how the pain will feel', Twilight thought. Sweetie Drops realized that Twilight isn't even struggling to get out, she can't believe she's going to feel the pain just for her. So she whispers into Twilight's ear, "Go, before I change my mind!" Twilight looks directly into Sweetie's eyes, "I could have left a long time before, but I won't, I'm going to miss you Sweetie Drops" 3 seconds left, they both give each other one last hug 1 second left, they stare directly into the Sonic Rainboom together. *** -- 5 Days Later -- *** Twilight sat on the streets of the rainy Las Pegasus with the rest of her friends, they had just demolished the hotel in Saddle Arabia because of Rainbow Dash's Rainboom, and they were kicked out of the country. However, Sweetie Drops managed to survive because Twilight cast a spell at the last second, but just barely. "Does anyone want a piece?", asked Rainbow Dash, holding a half eaten white choclate KitKat. "Sorry darling, but the choclate is soaking wet because of this disastrous rain!", says Rarity, who may be the most uncomfortable out of all of them right now. "Ok, we've gotta keep moving", says Twilight Sparkle with a tired sigh. They move through the busy streets where carriages go by, the homeless beg, and the rich play on the slot machines. "I hope those casino players lose all their money!", Twilight had learned from birth that betting was always bad news. The Green Sun was still illuminating the sky, giving the world the impression that Chrysalis was always watching them, always with them. While they walked, they heard a screeching sound coming from the roundabout in front of them, a carriage had collided and crashed into another one forcefully. "Hey, are those ponies all right?", asks Pinkie Pie nervously. "Wait! Stop! Get behind the wall!", orders Twilight, who sees something is up. They all hide behind a wall and lean to look at the crash site, there is a huge traffic jam because of the crash now. "This isn't an accident, they crashed into them on purpose!", explains Twilight to her friends, still hiding behind the wall. From one of the carriages, 3 changelings come out, and then later the driver, Chrysalis. The Mane 6 are all focusing their attention on Chrysalis as she moves over to the wreckage of the car "Oh god, what's Chrysalis doing now?", asks Rainbow Dash "Help me, I need help!", asks one of the ponies trapped in the wreckage of the car. The Mane 6 can't even see his face because there is too much debris. Chrysalis moves over and removes some of the wood blocking the ponies, they don't know who just saved them. "Thank you so mu...", The Mane 6 can see that the pony in the wreckage is actually not a pony, it's a changeling. "I've been looking for you for a long time, thought you'd never see me again?", says Chrysalis to the changeling. "Listen, I'm sorry for what happened! But you became stronger because of it!" "Stronger... mabye, but look at my face! I can't recognize myself in the mirror anymore because of you, and I can't let that go unpunished" "No... No!" Chrysalis tears the changeling to tiny pieces, and nopony is in a rush to stop her. "Huh, is he made of glass or something, that took no effort", says a disappointed Chrysalis. "Okay, changelings, I want every one of you looking for the 6 brats, and don't forget! Executions if you don't bring them!" Chrysalis does a slicing neck motion with her hoof. "Is the coast clear?", asks Pinkie Pie. "I don't know, but I don't feel like being sushi today", Rainbow Dash is very, very nervous. When the changeling was torn to shreds, The Mane 6 sneakily went through the sewer drainage to find a different city. "What's happening to Las Pegasus, Twilight?", asks a traumatized Fluttershy "My guess, everypony is being tortured to find out where we are, and the place is a swamp for changelings", Twilight didn't hold back any punches on Fluttershy. "Oh... Ok", Fluttershy stops asking questions now. "Okay, we've went far enough, we should exit these sewers" "Listen here, we ain't going up no sewers unless we know for sure the coast's clear", says Applejack. A sound comes from behind them "What was that?" "I-I-I don't know!" "Relax, it's probably just a rat" "Yeah, a rat! That's it nothing to be afraid of!" "That doesn't look like a rat", says Rainbow Dash. "That, is huge!", Pinkie Pie is excited yet terrified "Girls. Run." They run as fast away as they can from the monster that chases them. "What is that thing!" "I don't know! I've never seen anything like it!" Look how many teeth it has!", Twilight Sparkle notices the creature has no eyes, no nose, and no body, it's just a dark, green, saggy ball with a mouth chasing them down a claustrophobic sewer. "There, an exit!" They reach the end of the sewer, where a stairway is waiting for them. "If we get there in time we can escape this thing!" They get up the stairs and make their way up, successfully escaping, except one of them is missing. "Where's Fluttershy?" "Help me! Get me out of here!", says a voice from the sewer below. As Fluttershy was getting out of the stairs, she got tangled on some vines, and is now stuck. Twilight faintly sees a ball rolling towards Fluttershy. "Help me! Quick it's getting closer!", Fluttershy has about eight seconds to get out before she's monster food. "I can't get the vines untangled!", says Twilight desperately. "Help me girls, get this vine untangled now!" Five seconds. "Pull...Pull!" Three seconds. "Pull!" One second. "Pull!" Fluttershy gets out and the monster tries to get through, but it's too big. *Pant* *Pant*, "We, *Pant* did it", says a tired, yet relieved Twilight Sparkle "No, we didn't", says Fluttershy "What, we got you out! Of course we did it!" "Look behind you Twilight", Fluttershy is staring at something above Twilight. "I've been looking everywhere for you, you little bookworm!" Chrysalis has found Twilight. "Oh come on!" Twilight gets knocked unconscious. Twilight Sparkle awakens slowly, her hooves are attached to a wire vertically. "Ugh, where am I", says the shaken up Twilight, her vision still fuzzy. "That darn Chrysalis found us and knocked you out real good!", says Applejack, trapped in a cage, along with the rest of her friends. As Twilight tries to analyze the situation, Chrysalis comes in the room. "Ah, look who it is, it's miss powerful, how are you doing honey, miss me?", says Chrysalis to Twilight. "I wouldn't say I'm really happy to see you again, but yeah, I 'miss' you", says the sarcastic Twilight. "Wow, you developed a sense of humor! We're becoming more like each other everyday!" "Go fuck yourself, Chrysalis", Twilight genuinely surprised Chrysalis with this language. "Hmm, you shouldn't have said that, bring out her parents" "What?" "Tsk, they didn't tell you in school not to swear when parents are around?" "Why are my parents here? What's going on!", exclaims Twilight Sparkle. "You see, my little bookworm, I'm unfortunately not Tirek, so I can't suck up all of your power, but I can make you work with me, one way or another", Twilight tried to charge up her horn, but it wouldn't work. "Ah yes, the spell that creates a magical disabling forcefield, pretty neat huh?", says Chrysalis. "So, this is how it's gonna work, you join me, or I kill a lot of ponies, including these two cuties right here, so say hi to them Twilight!" "Listen Mom, it's gonna be okay, I'll get us out of here!", Twilight tries to comfort her, but she knows what's going to happen. "Oh look, little Twily is a big girl now, 'she's gonna protect you and save the day!', Hmph, everypony thinks life is just one big movie where the bad guys die and the heroes survive, well guess what? There are no happy endings in life, so I'm gonna make my happy ending right now, by killing one of your parents" "So, Twilight, pick one of them, make it easy for me" Twilight can't answer "No response, well then, looks like I'm doing this the old fashioned way, thank god we don't have magic!" Chrysalis takes Twilight's mother and crushes her head repeatedly with her hoof, until her face is non-existent. "Now then Twilight, I have thirty other of your friends waiting, you might want to join me soon"
Chapter 5: A Handsome Beginning "So, there, that's 15 of your friends that are now dead, you're really persistent aren't you?", Chrysalis has just killed another 15 of Twilight's friends, another 15 wait patiently for their final destinatination. "Here goes another one!", Chrysalis kills another one of Twilight's friends. "And another one!", she does it again. "And another one!", and again. "Another one!", and again, and again, and again. "One more left!", Chrysalis has already killed 29, only one remains. "Bring out Celestia!", Celestia comes into Twilight's view, she doesn't say anything. "Why aren't you saying anything, Sunbutt?", says Chrysalis. "I'll never understand what is it with you and silence, I asked you a question! Why aren't you saying anything!", Chrysalis shouts. "Because I wanted to see you angry one last time", says Celestia. "Well then, I'm gonna enjoy doing this!" Chrysalis knocks a chained Celestia to the ground, and puts her hoof firmly on her face. Chrysalis now has her hoof on Celestia's face, she's ready to stomp her untill she's a pulp. "And, here we... go!", Chrysalis raises her hoof. "Not so fast, Chrysalis!", a voice from behind Chrysalis startles her. "Wh-What!? Who's there!", Chrysalis was not planning on being foiled today. "Starswirl, Starswirl the Bearded!" "How the... How are you... What?!", It's been a while since Chrysalis has been surprised. "Well, Chrysalis, the old oaf still has one year left in him!", says Celestia, still under Chrysalis's hoof. "Well, I hope your back doesn't break old pony, at least not before I get to do it!" "Then come at me!", Starswirl has to run until Chrysalis follows him into the trap, and there is no magic for any unicorns here, because of the magic disabling forcefield. Chrysalis chases Starswirl down the corridors, she's about to catch up to him. Starswirl reaches a dead-end. "Finally, I not only get to meet Starswirl, I get to kill him too!", says Chrysalis while she slowly walks toward him. "Alright, Starswirl, have any last---", Chrysalis hears a snap before she can say 'words'. When Chrysalis heard the snap, she looked around to find she was entrapped in glass, and above her, hundreds of array of spikes ready to fall on her. "No! My plan didn't work! Twilight's going to---", Chrysalis was crushed before she could finish. "I know exactly what Twilight's going to do Chrysalis, and I'm going to stop her", says Starswirl to Chrysalis's dead, lifeless body. Twilight was released by Celestia, who got out of the chains. "Thanks, let's go meet up with Starswirl", says Twilight to Celestia. When Twilight met him, she saw Chrysalis was nothing but green goop now, her body was almost non-existant. Twilight moved over to Chrysalis and smiled at the goop covering the glass walls. "Ah, finally, she's dead, that insect needed to be squashed long ago", Twilight smiled more as she said this. " Okay, so first things first, we kill every last changeling and crush them into tiny pieces, then I'm going to play hopscotch in their chest cavities and then I'm going to kill anypony who stands in my way!", says Twilight deviously. "No! You won't!", Starswirl charges his horn up and aims at Twilight's head "What are you doing Starswirl?", says Twilight nervously. "You think Chrysalis is doing this just for fun!? Why do you think her face is deformed? About a year ago, Chrysalis was scouring through a jungle with a changeling looking for a secret artifact to bring her riches, when a very rare monster with a face shaped like a diamond attacked her! The changeling left her there, and when Chrysalis came back she said she had learned infinite knowledge from the monster!", explains Starswirl. "That's why she has a giant 'V' on her face!", exclaims Celestia. "Okay, Starswirl, you need to calm down!" says Twilight. "Sorry, but I'm saving millions by doing this," replies Starswirl. A powerful beam is shot directly into Twilight's face, pain is all she can feel now. Starswirl moves in to finish her off, before Celestia fires a beam back at him. "Ack! I... I can't breath!" Starswirl is having a heart attack, Celestia wasn't trying to kill him. "Starswirl!" screams Celestia. "She... Is going... To kill us all..." Starswirl immediately succumbs to the heart attack, and is now dead. Celestia holds his body in her hooves, she doesn't know who to trust anymore. Celestia decides to go back to the cages where the Mane 5 were held, where Chrysalis was planning to kill them But there's no sign of them. Just a note that had the words '800 years'. Celestia goes back to Twilight to ask if she's okay. The beam shot by Starswirl had created a 'V' shape on her face. "Twilight, are you alright?" "Please, don't call me Twilight, my name... Is Handsome Sparkle" Twilight turns and smiles directly at Celestia, the 'V' shape covering up her face. To Be Continued In Handsome Sparkle
