Bored with life in Manehattan, a spontaneous young Earth stallion named Endless Wire (named after a song by Gordon Lightfoot) hears of an animal shelter in Ponyville that could use an extra pair of hooves. Needing the money and longing for a more peaceful lifestyle, Endless and his beloved golden retriever Naphtali (Tali for short) journey to Ponyville, where they become fast friends with the Mane 6. Endless also finds himself developing feelings for Fluttershy, having never found another pony he can relate to so much; but will he have the courage to confess his love to her?
