Rarity was staring out the window. Contemplating, thinking on if she should go see her friend. She had a crush on her pink friend and she already has told some of her friends already about it. Most of them understood and said that they wouldent say a word. Now she was thinking about revealing it to Pinkie herself. She didn't know what would happen if she did tell her. Pinkie has never really talked it. Mostly she kept silent about that stuff. And if she did have somepony that she liked she must hide it really well.
Rarity finally decided she would tell Pinkie Pie her feelings and went over to Sugarcube Corner. She knocked and Pinkie answered the door. Rarity saw her and blushed.
"Can we do something together?" She asked hoping she can confess her feelings later. She hoped Pinkie would like to do something. Pinkie looked at her.
"Why?" Pinkie asked. Rarity was taken back by Pinkies answer. Was Pinkie angry or upset? She never answered like that.
"Well I just thought that you maybe wanted to hang out or something. Maybe we can go take a walk or get something to eat." Rarity suggested. There was silence between them.
"Did I come at a bad time I'll leave if you want." Rarity asked. Rarity stood there and waited and then Pinkie walked past her then stopped.
"Well are you coming or not?" Pinkie asked. Rarity blinked and walked with her. They walked in silence. Rarity didn't know what she should talk about with her. They walked in complete silence as Rarity looked at Pinkie. Pinkies hair was less poofy than usual. Maybe she's in a bad mood. Rarity thought. But if she was why did she agree to go someplace with her.
Rarity had no idea where to take Pinkie or what she should do. She didn't plan a picnic. How was she going to confess her feelings. She wondered if Pinkie had feelings for her as well. She had a bad feeling about this. They should have fun so she started thinking on where to take Pinkie. She weighed numerous options as she was going down and crossing off options Pinkie spoke.
"Where do you want to go?" Pinkie asked. Rarity blushed. She didn't want to embarrass herself by admitting she had no idea. She then brightened up and told Pinkie she had an idea and walked Pinkie there. When they got there they were standing in a park surrounded by trees and benches. They both sat down. Then there was an awkward feeling. Rarity hoped Pinkie would like it. Pinkie was silent and Rarity was as well. She didn't have any food to eat or share. She cursed herself mentally. She felt horrible. Pinkie was most possibly annoyed and when Pinkies mane was deflated then that meant bad news. Rarity tried to remain optimistic though and spoke.
"I love the season this time of year. I like listening to the birds and watch the trees. It's lovely."
Rarity said.
She felt like she was forcing conversation and it was really embarrassing. Pinkie possibly wanted to go home and Rarity felt like she forced her but then she brushed it off knowing that if Pinkie Pie didn't want to go anywhere she could have rejected Raritys request. She thought about what she should talk about. Her business? Pinkies interests? She felt nervous.
"Are we going to do anything or just sit here?" Pinkie asked. Rarity wanted to hide where nopony could see her. She was so embarressed.
"I-I don't know! I just wanted to do something with you. Hang out maybe talk about how stuff is going or your business or just watch the trees or go to a sweet shop!" Rarity said. Pinkie sighed.
"Your waisting my time Rarity you could have taken me to a place I liked." Pinkie snapped. Rarity was stunned. Pinkie was not herself. Rarity stammered. Tears leaked from her eyes.
"Well I'm sorry okay!! Excuse me for trying." Rarity shot back. Rarity felt horrified at how bad the day turned out. She wanted this to be a nice thing for just the two of them with Rarity confessing her feelings but it was becoming negative.
"Anything else you brought me here for?" Pinkie asked in a harsh tone. Rarity decided to confess her feelings.
"Yes I have a secret and I need to tell you." Rarity told her turning to her. Pinkie looked at her and turned back to look at the water.
Rarity was at a loss for words. Pinkie turned to look at her. Rarity looked at the water and spoke but was cutoff.
"Look at me when your addressing me!" Pinkie Pie snapped. Rarity turned to her.
"When you address me or talk to me you LOOK AT ME!" Pinkie said loudly. Rarity nodded.
"I'm not a freak to look at. What's so great about the ground?!" Pinkie snarled. Raritys heart was beating way to much. She felt scared.
"I'm sorry!" Rarity said loudly. Pinkie glared at her. She was so confused. Why was Pinkie acting like this?
"Now tell me what you need to say since it's so important and it didn't have to wait!" Pinkie snapped.
"I don't have to tell you if you don't want to!" Rarity exclaimed.
Pinkie Pie sighed and waited to hear Rarity speak. Rarity was extremely nervous now. Pinkie was supposed to put her at ease but she did the exact opposite. She can't believe how this turned out. It was an absolute disaster. Pinkie Pie spoke.
"Just go on with it Rarity." Pinkie said. Rarity took a few deep breaths ready to reveal her feelings for the mare that she loved.
"I'm in love with you Pinkie Pie!" Rarity said in a quick but very heartfelt way. Pinkie Pie didn't speak and Rarity became really nervous. Her legs shook as she awaited Pinkies response. She wanted it to be positive she waited. Then Pinkie Pie spoke.
"Really?....You brought me here to confess your crush on me? What are we? Lovebirds? And why a park?" Pinkie asked harshly.
"I confessed my feelings because I love you! I thought the park would be romantic!!" Rarity said in a hurt tone. Pinkie was silent for a second and then spoke.
"So you thought that if you confessed your crush to me that you could get me to believe you because you think I could easily say yes since you think I'm so nice just so you could take advantage of me?" Pinkie asked harshly. Tears rolled down Rarities cheeks. Rarity was shocked that Pinkie would believe something like that. She would never do that to Pinkie Pie.
"No! Of coarse not! I confessed my feelings because I LOVE YOU!!!!" Rarity screamed shaking with tears looking at Pinkie. Pinkie was silent. She then stood up and spoke. Rarity thought that there was some hope she thought that maybe Pinkie changed her mind. Pinkie spoke.
"I don't need your stupid feelings. Who the hell confesses a mushy crush? Pathetic." Pinkie spat. Rarities heart shattered like glass. She fell down into a deep pit of despair. She felt like Pinkie stabbed a knife into her heart and twisted it. She never expected that this would turn out badly. She thought Pinkie would be understanding and that Pinkie had feelings for her but she was wrong.
It turned out to be a nightmare for her. She had every thing perfect. She had a beautiful setting she had a park bench to sit on with her and she could have made a wonderful confession with Pinkie and Pinkie Pie ruined it with her attitude and then rejected her. It was a disaster. Now she could never go out with the one she loved.
She wanted this to be a bad dream. She wanted to wake up and have a different scenerio. Sadly this was real life.
"Anything else you wanted to say?" Pinkie asked. Rarity tried to think of someway to fix this whole mess but nothing came to mind that would work.
"No." Rarity said sadly. Tears falling down her face. Rarities heart felt like it was ripped in half. Pinkie Pie wanted nothing to do with a romantic relationship with her and could care less how hurt Rarity was.
Pinkie Pie got up and trotted away not even making eye contact with Rarity. Rarity sat there looking at Pinkie in despair. Pinkie Pie didn't even say goodbye. Rarity felt pain in her heart as her crush walked away. Rarity got up and sadly walked home with tears going down her face.
When she got home she sat down. Rarity sighed sadly as her heart still hurt from rejection. She didn't know what to do. Pinkie most possibly would not go out with her. Her eyes filled with tears just like they were crying a few hours ago. She couldent believe Pinkie acted like that. It was an absolute shock to her. She didn't know what she should do. Should she move on? Her heart hurt when Pinkie Pie said all that stuff. It was so unlike Pinkie to act like that. Rarity couldent figure out why she did and she wanted to ask Pinkie Pie why she acted that way.
It was an absolute shock when she asked Pinkie Pie out. She was not expecting Pinkie to act so mean about it. It would have been more tolerable if Pinkie Pie refused but acted nicely doing that. She would have still be sad and her heart would have been crushed but at least Rarity wouldn't have been treated badly during that. Now it was difficult.
She didn't know if she should see Pinkie or not. She wondered why Pinkie was so bothered that day. She went to Sugarcube Coner. While going to Sugarcube Corner she felt nervous and her stomach dropped. Does Pinkie Pie hate her? She asked herself. She hoped they could still be friends. It was silly to end a friendship over this. She then got up and knocked. Pinkie Pie answered the door.
"Oh...Rarity? Pinkie Pie said. Rarity almost burst into tears hearing that. Her crush's voice that rejected her still sounded so beautiful. She loved that voice.
"Please Pinkie.....can we still be friends? A....friendship shouldent end like this. Please. I won't ask you out ever again since you don't have feelings for me. If I would have known that you didn't like me I would never have asked you." Rarity said pleading. Pinkie Pie gave a sad guilty expression.
"Rarity I'm sorry how I acted that day. That was not acceptable for me to do! I spat on your crush in rudeness and looked down upon it and I truly want to apologize for that. I'm so sorry Rarity. I don't want to lose you. Please I understand now that I was wrong to treat you like that. I should know better than that! I acted like a jerk the other day and I made you feel horrible. I was having a really bad day that day before you came to see me. Today I realized that I responded in a very wrong way and I thought about how I could apologize. Please forgive me Rarity. Yes we still can be friends!" Pinkie Pie begged her tears filling her eyes.
"I forgive you. Let's continue to be freinds." Rarity said tears filling her eyes as well.
Rarity hugged Pinkie Pie stroking her mane. They both broke down in sobs. They stood there for minutes just hugging, Pinkie Pie apologized here and there but mostly just cried. She smelled Pinkies scent. It smelled lovely. As Pinkie Pie hugged Rarity a realization hit her. She was in love with Rarity. Her heart burst with joy as Rarity hugged her.
"RARITY I HAVE A CRUSH ON YOU!!" Pinkie shouted. Rarities eyes went wide. She pulled away and stared at Pinkie.
"Really? Don't lie!" Rarity warned.
"I do! I just had a realization! When you came to me I should have refused to answer that day and figured it out today and then come back and not have acted like a bitch to you but now I realize that I love you and I want to be with you!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed wiping her tears away. Rarity felt truely happy. She hugged Pinkie and kissed her.
"Oh Pinkie Pie this is wonderful!!" Rarity exclaimed. Pinkie Pie giggled.
They then went out to eat to celebrate as a very first date. They were so happy to finally love eachother
"I should have never rejected you the first time I should have figured it out and if I didn't I could have rejected you in a nice way and not have acted like a total jerk towards you and if I figured I loved you I would have accepted your feelings on the night. I should have acted nicer earlier before that to I was in a really bad mood. I was having a bad day." Pinkie Pie explained.
"It's okay Pinkie I just came here to tell you that you could have just rejected me nicely if you never had feelings for me and not have screamed at me. I now understand that you had a bad day and that's okay. Rarity said.
"I know I notice that now! But now if I knew I had these feelings I would have accepted you on the spot!" Pinkie Pie exclaimed happily. Soon they told their friends the good news. All of them were happy. They also wrote to Celestia about it and Celestia was happy for them. Pinkie Pie told her family and they were happy about it and Rarity told her family and they were also happy about it. Soon they started going out. They ate at dinners and Pinkie took Rarity out to sweet shops. They also went on trips and they asked friends for advice on places they could take eachother. They complimented eachother romantically. They also kissed.
Sometimes they did have arguments though but after a while they would talk about what happened and they would apologize for it as it was nothing to break up about. Pinkie Pie figured out how long Rarity was crushing on her and Rarity found out how long Pinkie was crushing on her and it turned out to be a long time. They were finally together and even if it took effort they finally were happy. Pinkie Pie and Rarity didn't worry about the future as they knew that they could make it work if they just tried.
Years later Pinkie and Rarity were far into their relationship. Their love has grown deeply and their care for eachother was really strong. Now it was time for Rarity to pop the question. They were both at a very beautiful garden and Rarity was waiting for the right moment to propose to Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie was unaware of it and was not suspicious of Rarities bag. Rarity was nervous. She didn't know if Pinkie Pie would say yes to marrying her. Her heart beat. She waited for the right moment though as she talked to Pinkie who was the love of her life.
She smiled as she wanted to make sure that her plan would work. She hoped that Pinkie wouldent go home to soon and ruin her suprise for herself.
Rarity and Pinkie Pie talked about the news and after a while they just started making out as Pinkie was laying on top of Rarity and kissing and carresing her. As they made out the sun burned bright in the sky. Pinkie stuck her tounge in Rarities mouth and tongue wrestled her as Rarity pushed back with her own tongue. Rarity moaned and Pinkie giggled and also gasped. Pinkie gave Rarity little love bites on Rarities neck. Rarity kissed Pinkies head and they then they went right back to kissing eachother on the lips. They touched eachothers waists during their personal moment.
After they were done they cuddled for a bit breathing in unison. Rarity decided to wait until the right moment to propose Pinkie as she wanted to savor the day. But she made sure that it didn't get to dark as she wanted to propose to Pinkie before it turned dark.
"I hope you like this place Pinkie." Rarity said smiling hoping Pinkie would respond positively to the location. Pinkie Pie smiled and Rarity was glad.
"I do it's very lovely!" Pinkie said giggling. Rarity smiled and touched Pinkies cheek. Pinkie moved her face to the left of Rariities face and put her hoof on Rarities as they looked into eachothers eyes. Both of them saw eachothers passion. Then they backed up and talked about eachother. Rarity was waiting for the right moment so she kept talking to Pinkie about what she liked about Pinkie and the news. Soon it was sunset. Rarity decided when the sun was setting she would propose.
Rarity decided to play with Pinkie and they both played tag playfully. Rarity usually wouldent like doing this because she would get dirty but she didn't care about that at that moment. She cared about the love of her life. Pinkie smiled at Rarity as they chased eachother and when Rarity saw Pinkies smile her heart burst with joy.
After a game of tag they had a tickle fight. Pinkie Pie got advantage of her and won finding all of Rarities spots and pinning her while tickling her as Rarity tickled back and they both made eachother laugh. After that Pinkie was declared winner. Rarity was having so much fun. Soon they sun was at its lowest so Rarity decided to pop the question.
"Pinkie I need to ask you something." Rarity said. Pinkie turned around and showed a smile. Rarities heart fluttered as she saw her marefriend's smile. Her smile made Rarity extremely happy.
"Go ahead ask me." She said encouragingly. Rarity got nervous as she looked at her pouch. What would Pinkie say. She was afraid that events are repeating themselves and Pinkie will reject her proposal but Rarity decided to ask her anyway. Rarity looked at her pouch and opened it with her magic. Rarity put a hoof on Pinkies hoof as they looked at eachother. Rarities heart beat as she tried to breathe calmly. Pinkie breathed peacefully.
Rarity looked her and then Rarity then knelt down in front of Pinkie. Pinkie gasped.
"Will you marry me Pinkamena Diane Pie?" Rarity asked lovingly. Pinkie squealed and and crushed Rarity in a hug.
"YES! YES I WILL I LOVE YOU!" Pinkie pie squealed. Rarity gasped.
"Pinkie....to hard...." Rarity said struggling to talk as she was squeezed. Pinkie let her go. They then shared a passionate kiss. Then after that they told their friends to come over to Rarities house urgently and they broke the news to their friends even if they were tired but Pinkie and Rarity couldn't wait. They both told their friends and thier friends were very happy for them as they broke out in celebratory squeals. They all hugged and they all went home. The next day Rarity told her family and Pinkie told hers by letter.
Over the next few weeks they prepared the wedding. It was a small wedding. They had a white cake and Pinkie and Rarity both wore dresses. Their families were in the front and their friends where in the back with the Princesses in the front. A priest pony did their consummation. They both presented the rings to eachother and the moment arrived.
"Do you Pinkamena Diane Pie take Rarity to be your wife?" The pony asked. Pinkie grinned widely and Rarity couldent help but giggle.
"YES YES YES YES I DO!" Pinkie said excitedly. Rarities heart fluttered. The priest pony turned to her.
"And do you Rarity take Pinkamena Diane Pie to be your wife?" The priest pony asked again. Rarity smiled.
"I do." Rarity said with passion in her eyes. The priest pony concluded it.
"Then I now pronounce you lawfully wed. You may kiss the mare." The priest said. Pinkie jumped at Rarity and kissed her passionetly. Their family and friends giggled as they started cheering and clapping. They both finished and went down to have cake with everypony. As Rarity and Pinkie cut the cake Pinkie took a slice and shoved it on Rairties face and Rarity shoved some on Pinkies face with everypony laughing and taking pictures. They both giggled. Twilight smiled happily at them. After that they ate cake and danced.
Soon they all wrapped up the wedding as they got into a carriage Rarity threw some flowers into the crowd and some of the mares fought over it except for their friends who just rolled their eyes but smiled and waved at their friends Pinkie Pie and Rarity. They were all happy for them. The carriage took off with Rarity and Pinkie both smiling as they both were driven off into the sunset. They kissed as they went to their honeymoon.
After a few weeks of their honeymoon they came back and bought a house. They fixed it up and lived in it joyfully as they stayed happily married for the rest of their lives as they continued to hang out with their friends as a married couple.
