In the sky on top of Ponyville where the birds are chirping and the sky is blue, everything is peaceful and quiet as usual. It's peace and quiet like this which gives Rainbow Dash the chance to take a nap on the clouds. She gets a chance like this whenever she isn't either practicing for the Wonderbolts or reading Daring Do books. If there is any time of the day where Rainbow Dash can think about how 20% cool she is, it would definitely be nap time. As she is about to get ready for her nap, she looks down on the ground seeing her friend Twilight holding something with her magic. Rainbow Dash couldn't clarify what it was so she flew down to the ground while trying not to get caught by Twilight. As she leaned in a little bit she noticed that it's.... Ice cream. But it wasn't like any kind of Ice cream she saw before, the cone was a waffle cone, that part she did know. The Ice cream itself on the other hand is red, she has never seen a red Ice cream before. But if Twilight is enjoying it, then it must be really good. Before she could move in a little closer, Twilight turned her head wondering if some pony was following her. As much of a coincidence as it is, it was Rainbow Dash that was following her."Oh, hi Rainbow Dash, how are you doing?"
Rainbow Dash tried to think of something to say without thinking about the Ice cream. "Just ugh, thinking about that plot."
Twilight raised an eyebrow "excuse me?"
Rainbow Dash then started to sweat a little bit "you know, that plot for the new Daring Do book coming soon."
"Oh, that plot" Twilight said in relief "for a minute there I thought you were talking about something else."
Rainbow Dash wiped the sweat from her forehead "no, of course not."
Twilight looked at her rainbow mane colored friend with suspicion "are you ok Dash?"
"Don't worry" Rainbow Dash lied "I'm perfectly fine."
"Are you sure? You kinda look like you've been caught red hoofed."
Rainbow Dash knew she couldn't lie to her friend any longer, even though she is number one in flying, she is also number two at being a bad liar. She had no choice but to spill the beans "Ok, I was sneaking up on you. But it was only because I wanted to know what you were eating."
"You mean this?" Twilight asked while waving the Ice cream cone a little bit with her magic "It's a new flavor of Ice cream that I made myself. It took me a few tries to get it right however."
"You made it yourself?"
"Yep" Twilight said to her friend "I can give you one at my hou-"
"ALRIGHT, LETS GO!"
Rainbow Dash was about to dart off to Twilight's house. But as soon as Twilight had finished the cone part of her Ice cream, she used her magic to stop Rainbow Dash for a moment. "How about this Rainbow Dash, If you can do a few things I was supposed to do with Spike today, then I will make you some Ice cream."
Rainbow Dash's mouth started growing into a smile "OK, let's get to it then."
Twilight and Rainbow Dash trotted their way to the library to get started with the few assignments that Twilight has for Rainbow Dash. As they got a little bit closer to the Library, Rainbow Dash kept thinking to herself. What is it exactly that Twilight has planned for her? She kept pondering that thought until some dirty thoughts started to slip into the depths of her mind. She tried not to think about it but her thoughts are the least of her problems. It was her wings that she had to worry about the most. The more she tried to fight those dirty thoughts, the more they fought back. And the more those dirty thoughts fought back, the more her wings kept going up. She needed to think of something fast before Twilight notices her little wing problem. Rainbow Dash had no other option, she had to make a complete idiot of herself.
She thought of the only thing possible, she took an acorn from an acorn tree and started mimicking it "hello Dash, I'm mister acorn."
Rainbow Dash then started talking to the acorn "why hello mister acorn, what brings you to Ponyville today?"
"I'm here to show you something strange and mystical, you wanna see it?"
Rainbow Dash then threw the acorn back at its tree furiously "NO, GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT WATCH! AND LAY OFF THE POOR BEAVERS"
The good news is that Rainbow Dash's little wing problem went away, as well as those dirty thoughts. The bad news is that she's gonna have to think of a good excuse for Twilight. Cause right now, her purple friend is looking at her suspiciously. "Rainbow" Twilight said to her friend "why were you talking to an acorn?"
Rainbow Dash grew a nervous smile "um, I got bored."
"Well no need to worry, we are gonna do a few things together that will cure you of your boredom."
"Really?!" Rainbow Dash said as her smile changed to an exited one "What are we gonna do first?"
"Well, we are going to read to the kids at the park while one of us is dressed as a firemare and the other is dressed as a Dalmatian."
Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow "who's gonna be the Dalmatian?"
"You of course."
Meanwhile at the center of the Ponyville park, all of the little fillies and colts gathered around in a circle listening to a story fit for their age. The parents of course are sitting next to their kids as they are tuning in to the story. The pony that is reading this story is none other than Twilight Sparkle wearing a firemare hat along with a black and yellow jacket. While her friend Rainbow Dash is dressed up as a Dalmatian. Rainbow Dash didn't really want to be the Dalmatian, but if she told Twilight that then it would probably break her heart. On the bright side, Rainbow Dash insisted that every time Twilight would turn to the next page, Rainbow Dash will bark happily like a dog. And luckily for Rainbow Dash, Twilight is about to finish the last sentence in the story. "And then the fire department adopted the little Dalmatian, and they lived happily ever after. The end."
"Woof woof" Rainbow Dash barked happily while waging the tail part of her costume. The kids clapped their hooves together while cheering for an encore at the same time. Seeing those kids smile made Rainbow Dash feel all warm inside of her heart. She stayed for a little bit giving the kids some pictures with her and doing a few dog tricks to entertain them. As the kids began to leave with their parents, Rainbow Dash moved towards Twilight a little bit. "So, what are we gonna do now?"
Twilight gave her a reply "The next thing we are gonna do is pick up a few raspberries."
"Raspberries? What are we gonna do with raspberries?"
"You'll see." Twilight said to her cyan colored friend "and just so you know, we aren't gonna get them at the store."
Rainbow Dash raised an eyebrow with a confused look on her face "then where are we gonna get them?"
"There is this farm outside of town that sells the best Raspberries I've ever tasted. We're gonna get a few of them from the owner of the farm."
"Who's the owner?"
"His name is Little Steve, he is a Minitaur."
Rainbow Dash still looked at her confused "Minitaur? Don't you mean Minotaur?"
"No, I mean he is a Minitaur. He is like a Minotaur but he is a lot smaller."
Rainbow Dash let that thought seep into her mind for a minute, yet she is still confused for some reason. She never even heard of a breed of Minotaur like that. She never even seen a miniature before, or even seen how small they are. She shook her head a little bit and got back to talking to her friend. "Before we go, do you mind if I take this costume off first?"
"Whatever you say...... Rainbow Dalmatian."
After removing their costumes and giving them back to Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and Twilight made their way to the raspberry farm outside of Ponyville. When they arrived there, it wasn't what Rainbow Dash had expected it to be. The barn as well as the house, the entrance gate and the windmill is as big as a shoe. Just to make sure Rainbow Dash didn't want to break anything, she decided to walk over the small fence and kept a good eye on the small environment around her. She then heard a small creaking door noise open from one of the little house's. Out from the small house came a small figure with blue suspenders and a red sleeveless shirt. She couldn't really get a good look at the small figure, but she has a good feeling that it's Little Steve. Twilight used her magic to pick him up and dropped him on her nose to where she can see him. Twilight looked at the small figure and gave him a little smile "how do you do Little Steve?"
"I'm doing good miss Twilight" Little Steve replied to the purple mare "How has your brother been after he got hitched?"
"He's doing good, I haven't heard anything about him and Cadence having any kids yet."
"Well if they do, then I'm sure your gonna be a fine aunt someday. If you came for the raspberries, then I should let you know they are at the back of the house."
"Thanks Steve" Twilight said to the Minitaur on her nose " Oh, and by the way, this is my friend Rainbow Dash."
Twilight then turned her body to face Rainbow Dash and Little Steve turned his body to see the cyan pony. The Minitaur greeted her with a little bow "It's a pleasure to meet you miss Dash."
Rainbow Dash tried to say of something without thinking about any 'small jokes' "It's uh, nice to meet you as well Little Steve."
"Now now, there's no need to be shy" Little Steve said to the cyan colored mare "I know I'm small, but It doesn't match the effort my family puts into this wonderful farm."
"Well, It was nice meeting you Little Steve."
"Just call me Steve Mrs. Dash" Little Steve said with a smile "and I even have a few waffle's left over just for you Twilight."
"Waffle's?" Rainbow Dash stood there confused "What does she need waffle's for?"
"For the waffle cones, didn't she tell you about her Ice cream idea?"
Rainbow Dash started giving Twilight a nasty look "Twilight, is there something your not telling me?"
Twilight started to grow a nervous look on her face, she didn't answer Rainbow Dash's question but she knew that Little Steve is looking at her disappointingly. "Twilight Sparkle" Little Steve said to the purple mare "Don't you have anything to say? You know what the good book says about lying.
Twilight sighed a little bit "Yeah, I know. Listen Rainbow Dash, the truth is that the ice cream I made is raspberry flavored."
Rainbow Dash continued giving her that nasty look "AND!"
"And I was going to read to the kids and get the ingredients for the ice cream with Spike, but I wanted to do it with you instead."
Rainbow Dash's face started to turn from a nasty look to a curious look "Why me instead of Spike?"
"Well" Twilight tried to think of the right words "It's just that we don't spend a lot of personal time together, so I thought I make up an excuse."
"So you made me dress like a dalmatian all because I don't spend too much personal time with you?"
"Yeah, you're not mad at me are you?" Twilight asked while trying to hide her face with her hoof in case Rainbow Dash starts to yell. But lucky for her she didn't, instead Rainbow Dash put a hoof around Twilight and smiled. "I'm not mad at you Twilight, If you want to spend more personal time with me, then all you have to do is ask. We can probably work something out."
Twilight moved her hoof away from her face "thanks Rainbow Dash, I'm glad to have a friend like you."
"Same here Twilight, same here."
Meanwhile at Twilight's house the two mares are sitting in their chairs in the kitchen enjoying Twilight's homemade raspberry Ice cream. The first time Rainbow Dash tried it, the taste of it was a little bit weird. But after a couple few more licks, she is really starting to like it. While the two mares are enjoying their frozen delicacy, Spike is looking for something to drink in the refrigerator. He closed the fridge and looked at Twilight with a disappointing tone in his voice. "Hey Twilight, we are all out of Kool-aid."
"Don't worry Spike" Twilight said to her purple dragon assistant "I have just the solution."
Twilight got up from her chair and placed the cone on the table with her magic, she then used her magic to open the display case in her kitchen And got out a shotgun. Twilight took a position and aimed the shotgun at the wall, she then started to repeat a couple of words. "Oh no, oh no, oh no."
Out from the wall came crashing the Kool-aid man "OH YEAH."
He didn't stick around for long cause after he came crashing into the wall, Twilight pulled the trigger and the bullet went through the lower belt area of the Kool-aid man. He tried his best to hold it all in, but he kept cracking to the point he couldn't hold it in. The glass broke and the lower belt area of the Kool-aid man started to shoot out his Kool-aid juice and it got all over the kitchen walls. After that, the Kool-aid man just laid there, empty and in a coma. All Rainbow Dash and Spike could do was stand there with a surprised and shocked look on their faces.
Twilight turned her head to look at both of them "Well don't just stand there! Get the sponges!"
