Chapters Ponysona: The Butterfly Mask
Saturday August 18th Daytime
I was walking down the street of my new home in Canterlot. It was pretty much every other large bustling city, aside from the various fruit vendors who line almost every street corner. After wandering around for a bit I reach my destination, The Harmony dorms. It was a huge dorm and I could barely wrap my head around the weird ch oice of purples, and blues that it was painted with. Before I could walk in I heard somebody scream, so I looked behind me. What I saw us the very reason I hate this world. A girl with headphones and electric blue hair was holding hands with a classier black haired girl. The bad part was the old woman yelling at them. I hate bigotry more than anything else, hell I was transferred to Canterlot because I started a fight with some homophobic protesters and badly injured three.
I walked into the dorms and was suddenly greeted by a man with brown skin and darker brown hair. He's wearing a green suit and a multi colored scarf.
"Hello, you must be the new transfer student. I am Time Turner, I am the resident assistant of the Harmony dorms." he said enthusiastically. "Your Spearhead right?" he asked
"Yeah." I said looking around the place my hands in my jean pockets. It was a huge room with green carpet and a registration desk to the right of me. I saw that the rest of the room was probably the lounge, it had a leather sofa and a coffee table in front of it with a recliner to the side. Suddenly a lavender skinned girl with purple hair and a pink streak walked down the stairs.
"Twilight, could you give Mr. Spearhead a quick tour while I prepare his student ID. She quickly nods "Follow me." she says as she shows me around. Once we arrive on the second floor she signals to the first door on the left. "This will be your new room... Any questions?" she asks as the tour ended.
"Yeah. Is anyone else living in the dorms?" I ask.
"Yeah, we have a junior named Pinkie Pie, and a senior named Chaplain. Anything else?" she asked.
"Nope... I'm Spearhead by the way." I said.
"I am Twilight Sparkle, charmed. We shook hands and I went back down the stairs.
"I've got your ID ready Mr. Spearhead.
"Hi!" the pink girl shouts as she jumps on me. "I'm Pinkie Pie party extraordinaire." she beams as she gets off of me. The man helps me up
"Hello, I am Chaplain. It is a pleasure to make your aquaintance." he said as he shook my hand. Mr. Turner walked towards us,
"School starts the day after tomorrow so it's best if you get ready." he said as he left the dorms.
Sunday August 19th Morning
I woke up after a good night's sleep and put on my usual clothes. My jacket was slightly ripped from the various fights I got into back home. Though it's leather stiched up heart, with spear symbol never got damaged. I walked downstairs to see that Twilight was the only one that was up. She looked like she was extremely tired so I decided to not bother her.
"Good morning. How was your first night." She asked me as I walked into the kitchen.
"It was great. I never really slept in a normal bed before, so it was way better than back home." I said.
"Why not?" she asked me.
"I have a bunk bed with my older brother Iron. He's only about two years younger than me." I smiled a bit. My brother was a prodigy, he knows more about law than a lot of lawyers. He is 13 and he's in college to be a criminal defense attorney. I'm so proud. I sit down at the coffee table in the lounge and turn on the news.
"It has come to our attention that Clock Watcher, the CEO of Burger Knight has gone missing. We still don't know where he is but police are investigating at this very moment.
"Isn't that the guy who makes food really lazily?" Twilight asks. I nod, it's about 9:30 when I decide to go out and explore.
August 19th Evening
When I get back I immediately run upstairs and pack up my stuff for school that I bought earlier. I turn on the news on my rooms T.V. their talking about that man Clock Watcher again. I fall asleep after watching for a while. Suddenly I am in what seems to be a therapy room, but everything is blue. I look to the left of my chaise lounge to see a creepy old man with a long nose, his chair facing me.
"Ah.. it seems we have a guest with an intriguing destiny." the man chuckles under his breath. "My name is Igor.. I am delighted to make your acquaintance." he says. "This place exists between dream, and reality. Mind, and matter." he explains. "It is a room that only those who are bound by a contract may enter." Igor pauses. "It may be that such a fate awaits you in the future." he looked at me with his bulging eyes. "Until then, this is farewell." he chuckled as I drifted back into consciousness.
Monday August 20th Morning
I walked down the stairs and everyone was up and ready. We all are breakfast and walked to school. No one really engaged in much conversation while we walked. Once we arrived at the front gate we went our separate ways. I of course went to my locker to put my stuff in before I get to class. On my way I heard some people gossiping.
"Did you hear about what happened to Clock Watcher. I heard he was kidnapped and killed." said a girl, just the thought of that happening to someone made me squeamish.
I headed for class trying to ingnore what they were saying. My teacher was a woman with dark purple skin and a grayish rose colored hair.
"Hello class. I am Ms. Cheerilee, I will be your teacher for the rest of the year." She smiled, she has this aura of serenity around her.
"Now before we start anything I need you all to sign a contract. It states that everything you'll do for the rest of the year is your responsibility. You can choose not to but it seems better to have you learn responsibility before you go out into the big world." she started to hand out papers to everyone in the class and not even half of them signed it. Finally I got mine, of course I signed it. What's the harm in doing that.
August 20th Evening
It was an extremely long day so I decided to go to bed early. I want up to my room took of my clothes and went to sleep. My first few days are gone. I wonder what will happen the rest of the year?

August 21st Witching Hour
I wake up in the middle of the night, so I decide to take a walk outside. I was walking on the sidewalk when out the corner of my eye I see a man walking towards a factory that I hadn't noticed before. It looks pretty shady, so I decided to follow him.
I waited outside the gate of the factory so he wouldn't catch me when I walked in. All the lights outside the factory are on so I knew something was up. After a while I walked through the gate and into the factory. The inside of the factory is eerie there were blue lights illuminating the halls and the metal coating the walls was rusted. I could tell this place was abandoned, but why was that man going in here.
Suddenly I was pushed onto the ground by something behind me. I look at my perpetrator and saw a green blob with human bones sticking out of it. I backed away from it and bumped into a creature of the same caliber. They backed me into a corner and all I can do is scream.
As they continued to inch closer to me I feel a heat covering my face. My eyes feel like they were burning, I get on my knees and try to cry. It feels as if fire was pouring out of my eyes as I cry. All of a sudden, flames shoot out of my eyes and write the number zero on my forehead. "What the hell is this!" I scream as it continues to circle my face. I scream The first words that come to mind. "Persona!" The flames disappear abruptly. The monsters in front of me back away. I look above me to see a glowing figure.
"I art thou. Thou art I. I am Horus! The warrior pharoh. Lens ne your strength and I shall protect you." the figure says as he reveals his true form. He was dressed in the armor of a knight, except for his shoulders which had metallic wings erupting from them. His head is that of a falcon, and his beak formed a lance shape. Finally we have his arms, which are actually the legs of a bird ending in talons. The figure was fully golden and had red and blue gems for each eye.
"Let's go." I say as Horus stands by me. The blobs stand at my front and charge at me. Horus suddenly divebombs into one of them killing them. The other manages to hit him with its slimey body. Horus disapears, but I think I can take it. I punch the creature right in its face, it melts into a pile of goo. I quickly escape the factory and head straight for the dorms.
I wake up in the same place as a few nights ago. The "Velvet Room" it think it was.
"Welcome." the man named Igor says. "Do not worry, you are fast asleep in the real world." he assures me. "I have summoned you within your dreams."
"What... Happened." I ask. He replies with a chuckle.
"And so we meet again." he pauses. A familiar woman walks behind Igor. She has violet skin and greyish rose hair. She's wearing a blue nurses uniform and a blue butterfly mask covering her face.
"This is a space that only those who have... Signed a contract may enter. Hello I am Cherry. I will assist you from here on out" she says in a soothing voice.
"What happened back at the factory." I ask her.
"In your daily life, you subconsciously awoke your inner feelings and let them loose. This is the power of persona." she answers.
Igor puts something in my hand. "Do not loose this." he says. I look down at the glowing blue key I was given.
"From now on, you are our guest in This Velvet Room." he says. "The destiny that awaits you is one where you need to hone your new powers. Therefore you will require our services." he looks down at his folded hands.
"Though in order to use our services you must take full responsibility for your own actions." he says in a warning tone.
"What is it that you do?" I ask still trying to fully understand everything that's going on.
"The persona that you have acquired is only one of many." he answers. "These.. Personas are your mask that you show the outside world. They are the side of you that others see." he explains.
"What do you mean? "One of many." that doesn't make sense." I ask dumbfounded.
"Your ability is that of the Wild Card. It is an ability with nearly infinite possibilities." he pauses to fold his hands. "The persona ability is the power to master ones own heart. The heart is strengthened through your bonds with others. As you become involved with the lives of others your own "social links" will develop."
"So your saying my heart changes through my relationships?" I ask.
"Precisely." Igor answers. "The power of these social links is what determines the abilities of your personas."
"Social links don't just strengthen your personas. They will also help you reach onto the truth of the current incidents." Cherry says.
"I look forward to seeing where your wild card will take you." Igor says. "The next time you visit here will be of your own accord. Farewell for now." Igor says as I slowly drift back into consciousness.
August 21st Morning
I woke up once again, but this time I am fully clothed. Oh that's right, earlier that night. I walk downstairs and yet again Twilight is the only one up.
"Are you okay? You look awful." she asked. I can't tell her what actually happened. She would never believe what I went through.
"It was a rough night. Barely got any sleep." I replied. It wasn't a lie but it wasn't nearly the truth.
"Are you sure? I know you took a walk last night. You came back all bruised and out of breath." she says. Great she can see through my bullshit
"Whatever, just... If you need to talk to anyone, just come to me. I'll try my best to help." she gives me a warm smile and goes back to her cereal.
I feel as if a faint bond formed me and her. I hear a voice in my head.

Is this what Igor was talking about last night when he told me about "social links". Speaking of the Velvet Room, that woman who was there... She looked exactly like Ms. Cheerilee!
August 21st After School
I walk up to Ms. Cheerilee after classes. She seems to be packing up for the day, now's as good a time as any to confront her.
"Ms. Cheerilee. Can I talk with you for a second?" I ask timidly.
"Sure. What do you need?" she said in a sing song manner.
"Do you know anything... About the Velvet Room?" I ask.
Cheerilee looks as if she has been caught by 5th police or something. She stammers for a bit before giving a look of defeat.
"So you found me out." she paused. "Yes I am Cherry. I take it you want an explanation about what happened to you?" she looks at me with a calming smile.
"Yeah. What were those things? What was that factory?" I ask in a loud tone.
"You woke up during the witching hour." she said
"The witching hour?.. I always thought that was a playground story." I said confused.
"At 3:00am to 4:00am each night demons are allowed to roam free. Those creatures were just slimes." she said "Demons are ruthless, they will keep attacking you until you have them cornered."
"What happens when I do?" I inquired
"Then you can negotiate with them. Sometimes they will even join you as personas. That's where Igor and me come in." she smirked
"I never really learned what you guys do. Can you explain?" I ask.
"That you will learn the next time you see my master. If you need any more information just ask me ok." she smiled and sent me in my way.
August 21st Evening
I was really tired from today. I finally know what's happening. So I decide to head to head early.

Wednesday August 22nd Morning
I start walking downstairs to find Twilight standing in my way. "What happened yesterday?" she asked with a stern look on her face.
"Ok. I didn't want to tell you cause I thought it'd cause a fuss... I was attacked." I answer. It wasn't a lie, but I still felt guilty for saying it.
"Of course it would cause a fuss. You were attacked!" Twilight said she looked actually concerned. I haven't known her for long but she actually cares for my well being. I feel of my bond with her just got stronger.
"Listen, it's no big deal. I beat them anyway." I said
"Stop trying to sound macho you jackass." she said looking aloof.
"Sorry." I said as I hung my head.
"Apology accepted. You know, I would like to get to know you better. Let's go get some coffee tomorrow ok?" Twilight says
"Of course." is all I have to say in response.
August 22nd Daytime
I think to myself about that factory... I've decided to try out this witching hour and go explore that factory. Suddenly I was snapped back into reality by Mr. Biceps asking me a question. "Spearhead, how deep is the grand canyon?" he shouts
"1'857 meters." I answer.
"So you were listening. Yes the Grand Canyon is 1'857 meters, or 6'093 feet."
I hear students around me talking. "Wow, I didn't know that." one says.
"He's pretty smart." states another. I seem to have become more popular.
August 22nd After School
I'm walking down one of the halls and suddenly bump into someone. I pick myself up and help the person up. "Sorry." I say
The person standing in front of me was the same girl I saw when I first arrived. "No you don't have to apologize it's cool. She started to clean her sunglasses. After she finished she put out her hand. "I'm Vinyl Scratch, nice to meet'cha."
"Nice to meet you too. I'm Spearhead." I shake her hand. "If you don't mind me asking, What happend a few days ago. I saw a lady screaming at you and this other girl."
"Oh, that was Tavi's mom. She doesn't really accept us." Vinyl winced
"I'm.... So sorry. I hate people like that." I ball up my hand.
"You don't need to worry about me. Though it would help to have someone to vent to... Could you. Help me every once in awhile." she looked at her feet. I feel a faint bond form between me and her.

"Sure... What's your schedule?" I ask.
"Can you meet me either Monday or Thursday." she asks
"Definitly. I would love to help you." I say with a smile. I walk back home planning for tonight.
Thursday August 23rd Witching Hour
I wake up to the sound of my phone's alarm. I get dressed grab a switchblade that I bought for tonight and went outside. It looks like any normal night except for the factory in the distance. I run towards the factory and walk through the door. I pull out my switchblade and wander around the factory.
I keep walking until I am confronted by three fairy like creatures. They all have red curly hair and are wearing blue leotards, gloves, and stockings. I let our a chuckle at the creatures. They look so weak... At least that's what I thought before one of them struck me with a lightning bolt. It hurt quite a bit, but I wasn't affected to bad by it.
"Persona!" I shout, just like that Horus has dive bombed one knocking it to the floor. He does the same to the others, I feel a slight strain on my muscles but I'll be fine. I run up to them knife in hand. "
"Stop.. Please!" one of the fairies says. Trembling.
"Why should I." I give an intimidating scowl.
"Your way stronger than I though. I kind of like men with that fighters spirit." the fairy purrs.
"Flattery won't get you anywhere with me." I say
"I'm telling the truth. I like strong men." the fairy explains
"Prove that your not trying to trick me." I smirk at the fairy
"Fine... I'm Pixie, as long as you keep that spirit I will be at your side." Pixie suddenly gets absorbed into my soul. So this is what Cherry meant, sweet. It's time to test her out.
I keep walking and I run into one of those slimes from last time. "Persona!' I shout, flames cover my eyes once again forming the roman numeral I. Pixie forms from the flames and hits the blob with a bolt of lightning. It melts into a puddle and disappear.
Out of no where a blue door appears beside me. I know exactly what this is. This is the Velvet Room, that's why he gave me a key. I walk over and I put the key in the door and open it.
"Welcome. It seems you can use our services." Igor says. "I have to ability to take two or more personas and fuse them into something greater." he explains.
He lays down two cards. One shows Horus, the other shows Pixie. "Will I lose them when they are fused?" I ask.
"Not exactly." He says. Cherry walks up and opens a book.
"You will be able to re summon your old personas by using this. The persona conpendium." she flips the pages showing all of them to be blank. "Every persona you have will be recorded. Though you can only hold a certain amount at a time." she closes the tome.
"Could you show me how this fusion works?" I ask
Without hesitation Igor levitates the cards in the air and slams them together. In front of me is a small bearded man carrying a giant leaf. "I am Koropokkur, as long as you don't betray me I will fight by your side." the being was yet again absorbed. I resummoned the others and exited the room I hear something unusual, but it's best not to worry about it.
I suddenly realized how tired I was so I went back to the dorm to sleep. I walked up the stairs to the second floor, and... Twilight, and Chaplain were there.
"Where were you!?" Chaplain said looking quite upset.
"We thought you were taking another walk, so we sent Pinkie after you. She hasn't returned." Twilight looked panicked.
"Could she be... Oh no." I said
"What are you talking about nan!" Chaplain exclaimed.
"I need to go find her. Now!" I shouted at them. Could she be at the factory. Maybe that noise I heard was... Pinkie.
I ran down the stairs and out the door. I checked my phone 3:40am. "Damnit it's almost over!" I was so worried I barely noticed that the others are chasing after me. I stop at the main gate of the factory.
"What the hell is this place!?" Chaplain screams.
"So this is where you were." Twilight huffed
"Guys... You might not believe what's going to happen, but I think Pinkie's trapped in there." I say trying to calm myself.
"What!?" They both ask in unison.
I open the gate and enter through the front door and enter the factory. However this time a weird crackling sound surrounds the area. Like some sort of PA system.
"Welcome my humble guests. I have someone you might want back. If you can get past my guards meet me on the 5th floor." the message ends.
"Guys. I know your scared but we need to fight to get through this." I said as my face ignites with the 0 again.
"What's...." suddenly Twilights face ignites with the same numeral I as when I summoned Pixie. "Persona." she wimpers.
Suddenly a figure of a woman wearing a cheetah print leotard. It has green legs that ended scythe like things for feet. It has a floating book for a heado which opened to reveal a green star mask. "I am Seshat, the god's scribe. Together we shall teach the world." she said as she disappears
"The fuck!..." Chaplain is the last one to ignite. However his face shown the numeral VIII. "Persona!" he howled.
A woman made of white metal appears. She wears a red dress and her shoulders are uncovered. She has what seems to be metallic wings protruding from them. Her hips are also uncovered with wings shooting out of them too. Her legs end at a point, the odd things were her hands. She had normal arms unding in cups with fingers on the side of each cup. "I am Ma'at, the protector of faith, together we will punish the evils of sin." it disappeared.
Now we all have personas. We can save Pinkie.... Together.

Me, Twilight, and Chaplain start running down the factory hall until we are blocked by three green impish creatures carrying spoons that are on fire. "Surrender now humans." the creatures hissed.
"Persona!" I shout as Horus rises from the flames on my face. He shoots a gust of wind at one of them, they seem slightly harmed by the attack.
"No, no no. You need to use logic you fool. Persona!" Chaplain summons Ma'at and she hits one of them with a splash of water. The enemy topples to the floor in a daze. He does the same move again, the same thing happens. He follows that up with another which leaves them all vulnerable.
"Wait... Stop. Please?" says one of them
"Why should we?" I reply
"I can heal you guys if you want." he pleads
I deliberate it for a second, should I let him go, or should I press further. "That's not good enough." I finally say
"......Fine, you win. I am Ukobach I will be your subordinate from here on out." Ukobach says stubbornly as he is absorbed.
"The hell did you do?" Twilight looked completely confused.
"I can use multiple personas. It's pretty awesome." I boast.
Chaplain snacks me on the head and continues to move forward. The other creatures seemed to leave behind metal darts. He picked them up and decided to use them as weapons for the time being.
"Let's keep moving... I'm sure we will reach the next set of guards." I say to the group. They all agree and start walking.
"Not so fast humans!" a large green monster with crazy hair and a loincloth appears behind us. In its hand is a giant wooden club. He swings it at Twilight causing her to fall over. He than proceeds to hit me with it. I am only slightly damaged by the strike.
"Persona!" I yell as Horus surrounds Chaplain in a yellow light. I could tell that he looked stronger by the spell.
Chaplain takes one dart and throws it really hard at the beast knocking him to the ground.
"Any last words?" I ask it
"Ha, Ogre not afraid of a puny human like you." he says with a smirk.
"Ok guys, let's take him out!" I say as we all jump at him and start attacking left and right until it disappeared.
"I'm... Kinda... Tired" I say to the team.
"It would appear that using your persona puts strain on you." Twilight said thoughtfully
"Than we better keep our persona usage at a minimum." I advise. They both nod and we keep going forward.
All of a sudden the whole factory disappears from around us. "What the.." I exclaim. I pull out my phone 4:00, I sigh.
"You have a lot of explaining to do." Twilight said.
I told them everything that Cherry told me about the witching hour. Twilight looked horrified
"Then, could that man Clock Watcher be trapped there too?" Chaplain inquired
"Listen, all I know is that we need rest, and weapons. Cause our personas can only carry us so far." I say before heading to my room. "We should all get some sleep." I suggest.
Thursday August 23rd Morning
I walk downstairs but... Twilight wasn't their. Instead it was Mr. Turner.
"Hello Spearhead.. Have you been enjoying your school week so far?" he asked with a grin.
"Yeah.. They've been great.' I yawn.
"My word.. You look terrible, did you get enough sleep last night." he asked consernedly.
"Yeah I woke up in the middle of the night, but that was it." I lied
"Ok.. Well as long as your fine than I won't worry." he smiled. I feel as if he is truly taking up a fatherly attitude towards me.

August 23rd After School
I start looking for Vinyl. I promised to help her out when I could, and that's what I plan to do. I kept walking around the halls to see Vinyl sitting in front of a window in the music room. She was clutching her jaw. Oh no.
"Oh, hi Spear. What's up." she shivered.
"Who the fuck did this to you!?" I shouted.
She sat there in silence for a few moments.
"Octavia's mom. She screamed at me about how I "ruined her daughter." what a buch of bullshit." Vinyl looks down again
"That's not right." I scowl
"I know, but I have to respect her beliefs.. Mom always told me too." she looked at me
"No you don't! You have to acknowledge her beliefs than you have to reserve the right to say that it's fucking stupid." I shout
"..." Vinyl sighs a bit.
"You can't let that bitch push you around." I say firmly
Vinyl chuckled. "Maybe your right. Thanks for... Thanks for the advise dude." Vinyl smiles. I sense a genuine trust in her voice.
"Well, if you need any more just ask ok." I say as I walk away.
August 23rd Evening
When I get there Chaplain and Twilight are sitting on the lounge's couch. No sign of Mr. Turner anywhere.
"Sit down... We need to talk." Twilight said, I did as I was told and sat.
"So, first things first we need to plan a date to save Pinkie." Chaplain says in a dead serious tone.
"How about... Monday?" I suggest.
"That sounds great. Monday it is." Twilight says
Chaplain nods. "We'll have to get some weapons if we're going to be in that place." Chaplain says.
"I know a place. I got my switch from there." I say as I pull out my knife.
"Wonderful, let's go tommorow." Twilight beams.
"Lastly, we need a leader to direct us. Seeing as Spearhead has known about this longer than us, I say he should." Chaplain says
"Sure, I think he could be a great leader." Twilight agreed.
I feel as if we are an actual team, and I have been in unanimously decided to lead. "Ok, let's save Pinkie." I say enthusiastically.

After our meeting I went upstairs and into my room. I flipped on the television to find that my favorite song was on a commircial. I kept watching that channel to see what was on, and I was surprised to see a movie I hadn't seen in years was just starting. The movie was in the style of an anime and was called "Howl's Moving Castle" I remember loving this movie when I was a kid, I watched the whole movie, commercials and all. It was around midnight when it finished so I decided to go to sleep.
Friday August 24th Morning
I walked down stairs to see Twilight on her phone. She looked extremely happy.
"Hey." I said groggily as I trudged towards the couch.
"Hi Spearhead. How's it going?" she gave a big smile.
"Someone's happy today." I rubbed my eyes.
"Oh." she blushed "I just got asked out on a date by Flash Sentry." she swooned
"That guy with the guitar?" I asked.
"Yep." she says, her smile grew even wider.
"Well that's great. Tell me about it sometime ok." I say smiling back.
Maybe I could introduce him to you. I bet he'd like to meet you, Chaplain, and.... Pinkie." she swallows
"That'd be great. Don't worry we will save Pinkie." I say with a stern look.
"Thanks Spearhead." she looked down I could sense her gratitude.
August 24th After School
I was walking down the hall for quite some time. Wanting something to do, when suddenly a poster caught my eye. "Soccer Tryouts. Tuesday 30th 3:00-5:00" I guess I'll try when the time comes.
I walk towards the dorms when suddenly, Chaplain and Twilight stop me.
"It's time to get out weapons, you said you know a place." Chaplain said
"Yeah, follow me." I reply as I start walking towards the weapons shop.
We walk into the shop which looked more like an pawn shop. At the register is an old man wearing an obvious orange wig.
"I'm Crankey Doodle and this is my pawn shop. I work here with my old man and my wife, Matilda. Everything in here has a story and a price." said the man.
"What kind of items do you get here?" Twilight asked
"One thing I've learned after 21 years, you never know what is gonna come through that door." answered the man.
After looking around we decided to buy Twilight a short sword, and Chaplain got a bunch of needles. I already had my switch so I was fine. We payed for our weapons and left the shop.
August 24th Evening
We put our stuff away upstairs and went down to the lounge to hang out. A few minutes after We sat down Time Turner walked through the door.
"Hello everyone. How was your first week at Canterlot?" he said to me with a grin.
"It was pretty ok." I replied.
"That's great.... Where's Pinkie?" he asked.
"She went out. We don't know where." Twilight spoke up.
"Probably at that Sugercube Corner place again." Chaplain agreed.
"What's that?" I ask confused.
"Sugercube Corner is a local cafe. I hear they are hiring." he hinted
"I'll check it out tomorrow." I say.
We watch tv for a while and go upstairs. However, I'm stopped before I can leave.
"Hey Spearhead. You seem stressed, what's the matter." he looked really confused.
"I'm just really tired. I have been for the whole week." I say
"I heard about you being attacked." he finally says
I sigh and put my hands on my pockets.
"Listen, you can tell me things like this. That's what I'm here for." he gives a soft smile.
I nod and start walking upstairs. Time Turner really is kind, maybe I should talk to him more. I get to my room and start doing my homework and go to bed.
Saturday August 25th Morning
I wake up and go look for this Sugercube Corner they were talking about earlier. It was a nice little coffee shop run by a orange haired man with yellow skin, and a blue skinned woman with pink hair. I notice a help wanted sign on the window, so I decide to apply for a job.
"Hello, how can I help you?" the skinny man said.
"I'm Spearhead, I was wondering if I could apply for the job." I say.
"Ah, yes. I'm Carrot Cake, come right here." he said directing me to the staff room.
"What you'll be doing is unloading the shipments when they come. You'll also be cleaning." he said.
"I can manage that." I answer.
"I need as much help as I can get, now that Pinkie has disappeared." he gulped.
"How did you.." I paused.
"I'm not stupid you know, Pinkie would never miss a day without telling us." he answered.
"Don't worry, we are going to find her and bring her home." I say determined.
"Please. Bring her back, I believe you can... Oh and you got the job." he smiled
"Thank you sir." I shake his hand
"Please, call me Mr. Cake." he laughs

Sunday August 26th Morning
I wake up and get dressed. However, instead of going downstairs I take out my key, and enter the velvet room.
"Welcome." says Igor and Cherry in unison.
"I need to fuse some personas, if I'm going to save Pinkie I'm gonna need some good equipment." I say sternly.
"Understood." Igor lays the personas I have our on the table to the side of my chaise lounge.
"It seems you have Horus, Pixie, Koropukker, and Ukobach." Cherry says.
I pick Horus and Ukobach to fuse. Igor takes them in his hands and they start to levitate they than mash together. In front of me is a floating brain with eyes, as well as thin tentacles. "I am Omoikane, you are the one of many I console. Let us help those who struggle." he moves around a bit.
"It seems that this persona has gained another level." Cherry smiles.
"How?" I say confused.
"You're social links grant you're personas new power. The Heirophant social link has raised this persona to level 8."
After my lesson I re summon Horus, as well as Ukobach and leave the velvet room. Once I get downstairs Twilight seems to be practicing with her new weapon.
"Hey, Twi." I say with a wave.
"Hi Spear. I'm just getting used to this weapon." she replied.
"That's a good idea." I say looking down at my feet.
"Pinkie is our priority at the moment." said Chaplain from behind me.
"Agreed." said Twilight with a stern face.
"I was given this power to protect, and that's what I'm going to do." I say detemined
"Ok, then let's do this." shouted Chaplain excitedly.
After our little talk I decided to go jogging. I put in my headphones and started listening to some stuff my brother shared with me. I walked towards the park so I could begin my jog. However when I got there I noticed a glowing blue butterfly start flying around me, it landed on my shoulder.
"Your journey begins today. Are you ready?" a disembodied voice says in my ear.
"What was that?" I ask myself.
"It was I Spearhead." replied the voice.
"Who are you?" I say nervously.
"I am Philemon, it is a pleasure to meet my newest champion." says the voice.
"What are you saying? Show yourself!" I shout.
Suddenly the butterfly flew off me and started to fly circles around me. The next thing I know, I'm passed out. When I wake up I'm in an odd room, with a man in a white shit and a golden butterfly mask covering his face.
"Where am I? And what in the hell are you!?" I get up with a scowl.
"I am Philemon, you are about to take on a dangerous foe. I hope you have been using Igor often." spoke the being.
I look around, it looks like the office of a school's principle. However, everything was blue.
"What is it that you want me to do here?" I ask.
"I want to see you're progress. If I am pleased I just might reward you." said Philemon.
"What do you mean by progress?" I say intrigued.
"Show me your most recently fused persona." he smiles
I bring out Omoikane and her observes it from all angles.
"I see, it's the same level as you as well." he mutters.
"So... What do you think." I say proudly.
"Very good, very well done indeed. I believe said reward is in order." he says
Suddenly. Ukobach is pulled out of my head and, in a flash of light he is replaced by a beast with a lions head, a goat head on it's back and a snake for a tail. "I Chimera, you are me. We hunt together." it shouts as I absorb it.
"Th..Thank you." is all I can say.
"Now go. You need to save your friend." he says as I end up in the park.
August 26th Daytime
I decide to head to work at Sugercube Corner. I walk to the store and get started mopping the floors, and unpacking boxes. I feel as though this hard work will get easier next time.
"Spearhead. You're still working? Jeez kid, take a break. You earned it." Mr Cake handed me a cup of tea
"Thank you sir, but I better finish with this last box." I say determined.
"That's just what Pinkie'd say. Well make sure not to work yourself too hard. Cause it'll mess up your back, I of all people should know." he chuckled.
"What happened?" I ask
"Well, my dad owned this shop before me, he had me and my brother working here as kids. He was a stupid old man, always working himself till he colapsed." Mr. Cake frowned
"That sounds harsh." I wince.
"Oh sorry, didn't mean to trail off like that, well I'll talk to you later kid." he just turns around and walks away. His dad sounds like he really loved his work, I wonder what happened to him? Guess I'll have to ask some other time.
August 26th Evening
"Alright team. We need a plan for tonight. Are we ready?" I say as we all sit in the lounge.
"I agree, we need to save Pinkie. And maybe even that Clock Watcher guy." Twilight says.
"Agreed." Chaplain starts to fiddle with the cross around his neck.
"So, we don't know who is keeping them hostage. But I'm guessing he is very powerful. I say, we train hard until we reach the top of the factory." I say
"Yeah, but wouldn't we be strained when we reach the top?" Twi asks
"No, we just need to moderate how much we do." I reply.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to bed." Chaplain starts heading towards the stairs.
"Yeah, that would be best." I say following.
Once we reach the top floor Chaplain stops me.
"Listen, Spearhead. I need your help with something." he says
"Um.. Ok." I say as he drags me into his room. It was the same size as mine, there was a poster of OutKast on his wall, as well as a half open bible sitting on his drawer.
"I'm going to be blunt here... Have you hit on any girls yet?"
I just stood there, jaw wide open. "Are.. Are you asking me if I've hit one someone on my first week here?" I say.
"It's just that. If we're going to be living together... I wanna get to know you better." Chaplain smiles.
"I understand, but that was kind of unexpected." I reply
"Well I'm not exactly the most emotional guy." Chaplain admits
"Why is that, you act all serious most of the time and slip into a quirky attitude at the last second. It's odd." I explain
"Well you see, I grew up in a very strict household, my parents are very Christian." he frowns a bit.
"Well that makes sense." I reply
"Enough about me, what about you Spearhead?" he points at me.
"Well, my mom is a lawyer so I don't see her that often. And my dad pretty much raised me." I say
"That sounds rough. My dad's a pastor and he wants me to join the family business." he looks down
"What do you want to do?" I ask.
"This is silly but.... I always wanted to be a rapper. But my parents say that kind of music's for the devil." he looks at the poster.
"So....What's your favorite OutLast song, I see you like the band." I say trying to lighten the mood.
"Definitly B.O.B" he smiles.
We talk for a while until it's 10:00.
Once I finally reach my room I walk back into the Velvet Room.
"Welcome back, What do you need?" Cherry says.
"I need to go to bed, we're gonna save Pinkie after all." Chaplain says enthusiastically.
"Let's talk again sometime?" I say. He nods in response.

After our little chat I decide to head to bed. While asleep I dream of me and Twilight wearing luchador masks and wrestling. When suddenly my alarm wakes me up. Me and the gang walk out with our weapons.
August 27th Witching Hour
We reach the factory and walk inside. Once we enter we don't notice any demons. So we walk silently around the floor, searching for the stairs.
"Not so fast!" shouts a voice from behind us. It was a chained upblonde woman with wings.
"Guys, get ready." we get into formation. And two Slimes appear next to the woman.
I slash at one of the Slimes with my knife, it doesn't seem to affect it at all.
"Persona!" Twilight says as Seshat hits the woman with her scythe foot. The woman falls down.
"Chimera!" I shout as my new persona blasts all the enemies with balls of fire. The slimes tilt a bit.
"Any last words?" Chaplain says, holding up his needles.
"Wait. Please let me live?" she pleades.
"What do we get in return?" Chaplain replies.
"I'll give you my Mabufu card. Just please let me go!?" the woman starts to cry.
"Alright. You can go." I say in response.
"Thank you." the woman hands me a card with a picture of two ice cubes on it.
"What is that?" asks Twilight.
"I don't know. But it seems important." replies Chaplain.
Suddenly Chimera knocks the card out of my hand and devours it. It starts to flow a bit and disappears.
"The hell was that!?" Chaplain says shocked.
"Let's just move on. The stairs should be around here somewhere." Twilight says
We find the stairs and get to the next floor. However, once we reach the top another winged woman appears in front of us with an Ukobach next to her.
"Surrender now humans!" the woman shouts as she surrounds Twilight in a bright light. However Twilight seems relatively unfazed.
I slash at the Ukobach and he disappears into blackness.
"Seshat!" Twilight shouts and Seshat strikes the angel with a bolt of lightning. And it was gone.
"We need to hurry. The witching hour ends in 45 minutes." I shout.
We go up all the floors hacking and slashing away, until we reach the last set of stairs. However two guards are in the way. One is a warrior with the head of an ox, while the other looks like a knight with a horse's head. We walk up to them and draw out weapons.
"Who goes there!" shouts the ox.
"We are here to save our friend." I respond.
"Oh yeah. And how do you plan on doing that?" sneers the horse.
"We'll fight." We point out weapons in their direction.
"Fine." the horse pulls out a spear, and the ox takes out an axe.
"Persona!" Chaplain shouts as Ma'at headbutts the ox in the stomach. The ox gets knocked back and starts to charge at me.
"Pixie!" I shout as Pixie stikes the ox with electricity, which knocks him onto his butt.
"Take this!" Chaplain throws his needles directly in the horse's eye.
The horse screams in agony, the ox gets up and starts to heal the horse's wound with a white light.
"Chimera!" Chimera comes out and surrounds the beasts in a mist that quickly hardens covering them in ice.
"So that's what the card did... Sweet!" I grin.
Suddenly the ice surrounding the demons explodes. Leaving the horse on the ground slowly disappearing.
"Mezuki!" cries the ox as he starts swinging his axe around hitting Twilight and knocking her into a wall.
"That's it... Persona!" Twilight shouts as Seshat spins around and fires lighting into the ox. Knocking him down but not killing him.
"You have killed my brother, so take me as well. Please?" the ox says.
"As you wish... Come on team!" I shout. We attack him from all sides until nothing is left of him but an odd amulet.
"I'll take that." Twilight said smugly. She puts it on and it heals some of her minor wounds.
"Well. Pinkie is behind that door. And we have 20 minutes left to save her. C'mon let's go!" I say as I run up the stairs.
Once we reach the top floor we enter through a big door and find Pinkie knocked out in a cage.
"Oh my god! Pinkie!" Twilight starts shaking the cage.
"So. You kids finally made it." We stand there shocked at who we see.
"You're Clock Watcher aren't you?" I shout
"Ding ding ding. We have a winner."
"Why are you doing this to our friend!" Twilight screamed
"Relax. I'm just doing my job. Or is that a bad thing now?" he mocked
"What do you mean you sick bastard!" Chaplain speaks up.
"I am the owner of a business kid, first I put no effort into what I did, people told me I needed to work harder to do well. But when Sigma asks me to do a job like this you tell me to stop. Well it's good that I don't listen." Clock Watcher said
We all raised our weapons. "Any last words!" we say in unison.
"Yes... Persona! " He shouted and suddenly a man looking creature made of rock with snakes surrounding him. Appeared in front of us. It suddenly made sharp stones come out of the ground. Knocking Twilight down.
"Damnit. Persona!" Horus appears and knocks Clock Watcher down with a gust of wind.
"Chaplain. Let's go." I say as we perform an all out attack.
"You're pretty strong, but I'm stronger." smirked Clock Watcher. Suddenly his persona surrounded Chaplain in a dark aura causing him to go unconscious.
"No...." is all I can muster before I'm on my knees. I feel like crying, but that won't do anything. So I get up
"Back for more then? Ok then let's go." shouts Clock Watcher.
"Persona!" I shout summoning Chimera. But instead there is that odd horse man from before.
"I am Mezuki, I am here to punish the wicked. Let us attack!" and with that the horse throws his spear through Clock Watcher's persona.
"Ngh!" Clock Watcher falls down and I stomp on his back. We did it.

"Think again kid!" shouted Clock Watcher. His eyes now covered in a black aura. And standing up straighter, a gun in his hand.
"How did you?" I stutter
"Boss won't let me quit that easily. And if I don't fight to the fullest Sigma'll have my head." he explains
"I won't hold back you sick fuck! Not after what you've done already." I shout.
"Then let's go. Mano-a-mano." Replies Clock Watcher pulling out a Revolver.
"That's fine by me." I grip my knife and get in my defensive stance.
"Saturn!" he shouts. In a mass of blackness a figure appeared. His persona was completely different. It looked like the rock man from before but it had peices that weren't connected to his body, and multiple snakes were trying to make rings around his body. His persona summons a sharp rock from the ground to attack me, but I barely dodge.
"Mezuki!" I shout as the horse man as he chucks his spear at the man. He gets caught on the shoulder, but seems perfectly fine.
"He he he... Ahahaha!" Saturn spins his snakes around rapidly as if charging an attack. I stand in a guarding position.
"Saturn... Now!" Both of it's snakes hiss at me and out of they're mouths come balls of fire one of which hitting me directly in the chest.
"Agh!" I cry as I fall to the ground. Clock Watcher walks over to me and puts his foot on my chest.
"Watcha gonna do now boy? Both you're little team mates are unconscious and you are helpless." he takes his gun and points it at me head.
"You bastard.." I try to shout.
"This'll teach you to get in my way. Night night." he cocks the gun
I close my eyes. Everything is over isn't it... It's funny. I haven't even been alive that long. But I can't do anything to stop the mad man on top of me.
"Persona!" shouts a familiar voice from across the room. And before I knew it an ebony figure with a pink belly dancing outfit and matching semi gauntlets. As well as a pink horned head dress was standing above me.
"Are you okay?" It was Pinkie Pie. She held out her hand and pulled me up.
"Thank you so much Pinkie!" I shout. And pick up my knife from the floor.
"Oh what the hell, you too!?" Clock Watcher yelled.
"Pinkie. Let's take him out." I say.
"Let's do this!" Pinkie says enthusiastically. Her persona standing behind her.
"Ok let's go!" I respond as Pinkie and I get into position.
"Saturn'" Clock growls. Saturn's rings start to spin around for the second time.
"Horus!" Horus blasts a gust of wind at Clock Watcher but he doesn't fall over like before.
"Anat!" Pinkie commands, and the figure snaps it's fingers covering us both in soothing light.
"Thanks Pinkie." I respond feeling much better.
"Die Die Die!" Shouts Clock Watcher. Just like that his snakes spew out the fire at both me and Pinkie. Knocking me down, Pinkie didn't seem affected much though.
"Spear!" Pinkie gets before rushing at Clock Watcher and hitting him in the jaw with what looked like a pipe. This sent him flying backwards though it didn't take him long to recover. I pick myself up and take up my knife.
"Pinkie. Draw out his persona." I command.
"Gotcha." in a matter of moments she starts dancing around Clock Watcher hitting him like a maniac.
"Stop it you acursed brat!" He shouts as he tries to shoot her with his handgun but misses.
"Anat!" Pinkie summons her persona which shoots a fireball directly at Clock's chest.
"Ngh... Saturn... Help!" Saturn appears and starts to charge his attack.
"Not so fast." I say as I use Clock Watcher's crouching body to launch myself and stab Saturn in the heart. This causes it to thrash around and melt into a pile of black ooze.
"No. Not again. How could I loose to you!?" he hangs his head in defeat.
"Cause I do my job correctly." I respond and kick him down.
Me and Pinkie carry Clock, Twilight, and Chaplain out of the factory and to the dorms. We actually did it... We got Pinkie back. As soon as we got to the dorm Pinkie collapsed and who could blame her. I headed up to bed and fell asleep.
August 27th Morning
I woke up and walked downstairs to see Twilight looking really bruised up. Which is to be expected. Time Turner was also there.
"What happened to you two.... Another thug!?" he gasped.
"No... We just got attacked by a badger when searching for Pinkie." I say groggily.
"Don't give me that bullshit. What happened? Tell me." Turner said with a stern face.
"Well...... Uh." Me and Twilight tried to create a believable excuse.
"They found me and a badger attacked us... It's true." Pinkie said as she trudged down the stairs.
"If you say so." Turner rolled his eyes.
"Say don't you have tryouts for soccer today Spear?" Twilight asks
"I sure do. God is it going to be grueling." I reply
"Well I'm sure you will do fine Spearhead. If you need anything I'll be in my room upstairs." Turner says, collects his things and leaves the room.
"So. What happened to me last night?" Pinkie asked. As she say down
"You awakened to a power known as persona. It's like a guardian angel." I explain.
"Personas can only be acessed during a time called the witching hour, which spans from 3:00 to 4:00." Twilight speaks up.
"Oh.... Then, why was I I'm a weird factory?" Pinkie asked.
"That, I can't say I originally wanted to find out, but you were kidnapped so that comes first." I answer.
"Why did that man kidnap me." Pinkie asked
"We don't know, but that's even more motivation for us to investigate." Twilight replied.
"Well in that case. I'll help you guys, I wan't answers." Pinkie smiles.
"Thank you Pinkie." I say.
"It's no problem. Plus it sounds like fun!" her original carefree attitude returns.
August 27th After School
"Ok guys line up!" Shouted the couch As me and several other guys were standing in a line. "Mr. Soarin will take it from here." he turned to the team captain.
"Sup. These tryouts will consist of one game, Left vs. Right." said a toned light blue skinned man with darker hair.
"We will decide who makes it by checking out their skill on the field. That being said. Go go go!!!" The coach screamed.
The tryouts were long and in my body's current status I was hurting through it, but after a while the students were chosen.
"The newest members of the soccer team are as follows." said the captain.
"Yes!!" shouted a rainbow haired girl in the line.
"Now go home and get some sleep. Next practice is in Saturday!" The coach says. And I walk home.
August 27th Evening
Once I get home i see Twilight hopping around energetically.
"Spearhead! How were tryouts?" she questioned.
"I made the team!" I reply.
"Really! That's great." she smiles.
"What's got you so happy?" I ask.
"My date with Flash went great! He insisted he'd pay and everything!" She giggles.
"That's amazing Twi!" I couldn't help but flash a big smile.
"You should meet him sometime you two would get along." she suggested.
"Well I'd love to." I respond.
We talk for about an hour and we eat dinner. After a while I decided to go to bed and think about everything that's happened. I don't even notice that I drift off.
