I wrote this as an alternate ending to Owls well that ends well. Alternate universe because in here, owls well that ends well takes place after the royal wedding.

Some people have points in their lives when they must make a choice. This 'crossroads' can lead to something great or terrible and when you made that choice it all worked out in the end, but, have you ever wondered what would happen if you chose differently?
