The Ceremony Room was filled with Ponies from all over Ponyville. The Room was very cheerful. Sunset Lightning and among other Graduates sat in rows of White Chairs on the right side of the room. Sunset Lightning looked around the room, briefly examining it. To the left of him sat Fifty or so Red Chairs with people that Sunset Lightning didn't recognise sitting in them. Directly in front of everyone sat a large stage with a small amount of steps leading up to the main stage. The Stage was nothing fancy, just a podium with a Microphone.
Suddenly a Light Blue Stallion appeared on stage and spoke in the Microphone. "Graduates and Friends and Family sit on the White Chairs. Existing Firefighters sit in the Red Chairs. Thank you" The Stallion Moved over to the right side of the Stage and a Light Pink Mare appeared at the Microphone and she spoke. "We will begin as soon as the Commissioner shows up. We will all Salute as he enters as a sign of respect." The Mare moved to the Left Side of the stage and Chatter began to fill the room once again.
Sunset Lightning looked behind him. A few rows behind him sat his Best Friend, Rainbow Dash. Along with her five friends that Sunset had pretty, good friendships with. He waved at Rainbow who immediately waved back, which caused the other Five to realize what Sunset had done and they all waved back at him as well. Suddenly the room fell silent as the Blue Stallion's voice filled the room. "ATTENTION!"
Suddenly. Everyone in the room stood up, Giving the Commissioner a Salute as he walked by. Everyone remained Saluting as the Commissioner dropped a stack of papers on the Podium. "AT EASE!" He yelled. Everyone stopped Saluting and took a seat. The Commissioner was a Cream Colored Stallion. He spoke with a very sharp voice. A nice trait that any Fire Department Commissioner would need. The Commissioner approached the Microphone and began speaking
"Welcome to the Ponyville County Fire Department's Graduation and Promotion Ceremony" He began. "Today we are gathered to Celebrate the Graduation of these fine recruits and promoting some of our Existing Firefighters
